Dollar General - clover valley pickles.

I checked several stores throughout the state of Wisconsin and cannot find Clover Valley dill pickles. I usually buy the very large jar but none to be found. There are Mount Olive pickles, but they are the worst I ever had. Bring back Clover Valley. Also cannot find the sweet spicy sliced pickles. If this change is a money issue, most people would pay a little more for a product they like.

Dollar General management

To whom this may concern and the corporate office in headquarters I'm filing my complaint on store 5690 west 70th street in shreveport La 71129 store manager P.J on July 27, 2019 he hired me fix the schedule told me he will work with me on everything I needed to know about the store and what I didn't know he will teach me in training me on how to do so will wednesday august 11, 2019 come I call in for me schedule to see when he won't me to come in he tell me wednesday for 1;30 well I get to work he tells me I was supposed to been there for 6:00 when his never there his self for 6:00 to opening ther store up never but he know he told me 1:30 become my mom heard him tell me that and the schedule didn't even say 6:00 for me to be there so that's a lie so he tells me to go back home call him later to see when he want me to come in I do he said wednesday august 21, 2019 for 4-10 ok I get to work I clock in for work he tells me to come to the office so we can talk I dId he tells me I be moving slow and it take only 30min to sock the store and I left three box when I been off for four day because he only give me 18 hour out the week how that anytime to taining anybody for a job then he always gone and he never on time hisself to opening up the store the customers always waiting on him but he FIRED ME FOR NOTHING

Dollar General store manager. vicki...

The store manager Bard me from two stores for a shoplifting incident that I was not even involved in no police report was made no arrest was made. I'm highly embarrassed I am highly inconvenienced as Dollar general is the only store in my town to shop when she told me that I was not allowed in the store she screamed it across the parking lot which caused further embarrassment I have spoken to a lawyer about this he says I have a very good case if you cannot resolve this and this lift my name of that list then my attorney will file suit against you for everything possible. I made a verbal complaint with someone at your corporate headquarters a week or so ago and I have not heard back from anyone my attorney suggested that I make this attempt to resolve this on my own before he gets a hold of it. So today I am asking that you tell Vicky to leave me alone . For her to lift my name of the band that she has me for two stores Dutton and section as I did not get caught shoplifting, I no police were called no report was made and there was certainly no arrest. It seems to me this lady has no has no case against me therefore I should have the choice to shop at Dollar general if I want to Sincerely, Amy Allen August 22, 2019. Please let me know something as I would not be able to stand the embarrassment of trying to shop and getting yelled at or officers called

Dollar General Special k fruit and yogurt

I purchased a box of Special K Fruit and Yogurt from the listed above location on 8/21/2019 and went home to eat some cereal. I ate my first bite and gagged and threw up and screamed it was such an unexplainable horrible nasty taste in my mouth. I told my husband I will never buy this flavor again. It was so bad until I looked at the box and discovered that the cereal was about 20 months old. I called the store and spoke with the manager on duty at 8:26 p.m. to explain to her the situation that I just encountered and she told me that I could come and get a refund. I asked her how in the world could this happen and her response was that they have been doing inventory and some items were brought from the back to the front. On today, 8/22/2019, I decided that I would take the cereal back and when I picked it up I notice bugs coming out the box. Im so disguised and cant some throwing up, gagging and spitting. I would like for this problem to be handled properly and soon as possible.

On another note, the cashier that checked me out was very polite and had problems printing out receipts...so I never got a receipt; however I sign in for my coupons and have a digital receipt. I have pictures that I can upload. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at [protected].

Dollar General customer service ignored - unethical behaviour

I went into a local store to get some Fancy Feast cat food in the box (12 cans ). There was two girls working in the store. Back door wide open, no one in the back. NO manager on site. I waited in line and asked one of them to go into the back and see if they had any boxes of this cat food, and was told that as soon as the cashier was done with a current customer she would go look. No problem. I waited, and more customers came in. I waited some more. Then she tells me I have to wait some more. Unbelievable. Why can they not stock the store without all the totes in the aisles, and get more help? And why do the employees now wear all these piercings in their face and look like crack heads? Was not impressed. Very Poor customer service.

Dollar General is worker and manager

i was in there yesterday and the casher and manger was talking [censored] about me for no reason and i just went in there today and the manger they same one just thru my money on the conter and thur my reciep nothing said hi or anythang i don:t deserve to be treat like this it a guy manger i will never walk in that store again very poor service.and the dollor stuff is been block with boxes so you can:t even see anythang how you going to sell anythink and the worker walk around doing nothing but talking [censored] about people very poor bunessines...

Dollar General Your assistant manager

I was in one off your stores in salter path North Carolina on August 18 at around 7-8 pm I watch one of your manger yelling at one of your employees so bad she was crying she was a older employee I believe her name badge said Marlene I've never seen a manger talk to and employee like that ever and to make her cry in front of everybody this is unexpected from someone that is suppose to be in management very disappointed that you we let your manger speak to someone that way

Dollar General Employee Theft and Customer Neglect

I want to mention that I have worked in Retail Management for nearly 40 years. I am retired but that doesn't stop me from rating my service!
1) Customer Neglect: Part of my purchase was that I had bought six glass bowls. While the employee was placing them in one bag, I heard that these bowls were being clanging against each other. I had mentioned that these bowls should be handled better with maybe a piece of paper or another bag separating them in the bag. She didn't even pay me any mind. She was too busy talking to the people behind me in line and not focusing on me, the person standing in front of her. She didn't show any care to me and my purchase.
2) Employee Theft: I was parked in the handicap parking and was loading my backseat of my car with my purchases when the same employee came rushing out to open the Ice Machine. She reached in and came out with a huge bag of ice. She gave it to the customer's grown daughter. Then she reached in and grabbed another bag to give it to the customer. The customer said to her, " I had only bought one bag." The employee replied, "that's alright, take this one too." The customer gave her the okay look and took the extra bag of ice.

Dollar General cleanliness and organization of store is awful

The outside of the store in Sharon Tn looks as though it's one of the last stores standing after Armageddon, the manager sits in her car leaving the store fully unattended to smoke all day, the other employees have no clue most of the time where anything in the store is and act as though they themselves are lost as Easter eggs, the store inside is completely horrid, it needs some major attention it's pathetic the grounds outside look horrible trash everywhere nothing is picked up rarely ever mowed it's ridiculous

Dollar General cigarettes

Bought two packs of Misty Blue 120 today. Got to my car and noticed the cashier had placed the menthol instead of Blue in my bag. Went back in and told the cashier that I needed to exchange them for blue . She said she couldn't exchange them. Showed her the receipt, she still refused to exchange them. Talked to the store manager and she refused also.
I am a frequent shopper at Dollar General and feel I was treated wrongly. I would be afraid to shop anymore at a store that doesn't allow exchanges .

General Dollar is a poor place to shop. One has to look closely at the dates on any food products bought there. Sometimes the dates are expired.

Dollar General condition of stores

Dollar General has always been my "go-to" store, but I actually left my partially-filled basket and walked out today. The three stores near me leave boxes and carts for stocking in the aisles, but they don't stock, and you can no longer even push your cart down a single aisle because they are almost totally blocked. Two other customers walked out with me today. This applies to the newer store on East Berry St., and the two stores on Mansfield Highway in Fort Worth, TX. You're losing customers because of this, and even though I've always been one of your most faithful customers, today was the last straw. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.

Dollar General receipt

I purchased 18 bottles of zero lemon lime Gatorade from the above store. I buy all Gatorade from your stores as your company offers the Gatorade sports codes. I travel 20 to 25 miles each way to 3 of your stores not only for the above reason but your stores most always have the product. When I received my receipt I couldn't read anything printed on it. I ask the cashier if there was a way to make me another copy as I couldn't read that one. She ask I would assume the manager and I was told in not so much of a nice way there was nothing that could be done about it. I ask you can't print a copy and was told again there was nothing that could be done. There should be a way to reprint receipts if one doesn't print. I lost all the points plus I am not sure I will shop at that location again.

Dollar General the store is a mess, the floors are dirty. no carriages

I use this store at least once a week. It is the dirtiest store, the supplies are left in the ailses in the carriages, so the shoppers have no carriage. The floors look like they have never been washed.

I am sure you need to make a visit to this store and see that someone is not doing their job. If the state comes in I am sure they will close the store.

Dollar General store policy

I visited Dollar General on 08/16/2019 around 6:00p.m. and I purchased a few items along with a alochic beverage, I'm very well aware of the photo i.d.policy, however I was behoove when the cashier Ryan asked me for my I.D. when the Caucasian lady before me bought cigarettes as well as alchol and he did not I.D. her, although he did ask her for her birthday, but never once did he I.D. her...I was also upset at the fact I had to resort to my flipp app to see what was on sale due to the fact nothing was labeled

Dollar General Coupon not working

I visited this Dollar General today. I shopped for 40 minutes in the store. When I went to checkout the line was extremely long and only one cashier was waiting on people in line. I had a $5 coupon to use on my order. When I got to the register to use my coupon the cashier could not scan it and an older gray-haired lady with a long ponytail tried to help him. This lady obviously worked there. I saw four employees but none of them had on name tags. The lady tried several times with the coupon but it would not work. I did not have alcohol or tobacco. I asked her to call the home office and she did. The first time she called she got disconnected while talking. The second time she called she said that there had been a cliche in the system when printing the coupon and it should have been dated for Saturday, August 17th and not for Friday, August 16th. When I asked her if Dollar General was going to honor the coupon she said no they would not. So I stated that it's customers fault when Dollar General makes mistakes? She just looked at me and I walked out without my $36 worth of merchandise. I waited in line for 27 minutes. This is ridiculous. What has happened to Dollar General and their honor? I know it was only $5 and that is not even the point. I was there with a coupon from Dollar General and was trying to use it in their store. Customers were walking out because they were tired of standing in line waiting. Some customers were even yelling out "I am waiting". All for $5! Way to go Dollar General! Dollar General the unkept exterior physical appearance of this store.

To Dollar Store Corporate Management,

The outside perimeter of this store is in extremely poor condition as it relates to the parking lot, overall maintenance around the building, landscaping, overgrown grass, untrimmed shrubbery along with paper trash and debris. The property is totally unkept and a poor reflection upon both Pineview and Madden Hills Neighborhood residents that patronize this store.

The employees of this store are friendly and helpful and the overall interior appearance of the store is okay, although it too could be tidier in appearance.

This same request was also made and submitted in 2018. We are disappointed that again this year the conditions remain the same. We solicit your attention in cleaning the overall appearance of this store immediately.

I think this is like my third comment on this situation I have made. This is this company’s M’0 . They pride themselves on putting there company in small bedroom communities. They have a responsiblity to those communities to maintain the codes And laws of that community. They don’t, I live in N?J. & I have made the same complaints. They built in my front yard and then forget about there neighbors. Rain water drainage, unkept lawns, trash blowing all over, no trash cans I can go on and on. The corporate office should be ashamed of themselves but like I see it not too many of those ppl stay with the company that long wonder why lol.

Dollar General totally rude cust service and cursing by older cashier (original man checking us out)

The man checking every one out was rude (cursing) he was also loudly putting dg down by sayinghe tells people as they enter the store things like "welcome to dg where nothing checks out right and sales may be real etc..." he made fun of me while the manager (I guess the guy was who finally came up to unlock the register and explain that the sale included digital coupons... Duh... The other man never knew this... Several cust left the store very aggravated with the long wait and commotion... One lady even screaming as she left... This is the worst experience I have ever had in any store! I was only wanting to buy some laundry soap pods... I am 63 years old and am wearing a heart monitor and did in no way deserve to be talked to like he was doing... Asking me if my rush was do to having a hot date or something!
Shame on dg! Let's see what happens now!

Dollar General digital coupons

I had tried to use $2 off gain digit coupon twice for gain fireworks scent boosters and it didnt subtract from my total.. I ended up having to buy them 4 times! Twice at full price, then twice it finally used the digit coupons..
The two times the coupons didn't work, the managers said they couldn't do anything about it and to contact corporate about it..

Dollar General dirty messy store

The parking lot and entrance to this store is filthy... trash on the ground always. Paper, cups, etc. I've never once seen it clean.
In the store it's hard to move around. There are always bins in the way that need unpacking. At times I have to move heavy bins to get what I need.
Hire more people in these stores and maybe the employees can do a better job.
Train people to clean up! Hire a person for just cleaning and stocking. You can't expect the register attendant to get all of this done. This store need a major cleaning!

Common occurrence for this company. They don’t maintain, cut there grass, or pick up trash let alone have trash cans @ all. These complains go on deaths ear. I find that you can get more results by going to the city or township you live in and go to the officials and complain. There are codes and laws then need to follow or get fined .

Dollar General employee complaint

Hello! My name is Audra Hoeffling and I've been a loyal dollar general customer. My husband and I have been customers at this particular location for almost 4 years. Every visit I've always been treated kind and with respect and excellent service. However, we have had a problem with an employee Zack. It's been a few months since the first altercation with Zack. My husband ran inside a few minutes before closing hoping that he could make a quick purchase. Zack was at the register and told my husband he had a few minutes before the computers shut off. My husband quickly grabbed what was needed and put the items on the counter. Zack then tells my husband "I'm sorry but the register is closed". My husband said to him " you just told me I had a few minutes " but Zack said sorry with a smirk on his face. My husband proceeded to tell him that this was wrong and he should have told him the register was closed when he walked in. Zack told him to get out and that he was banned from ever shopping in this dollar general store. Im not sure he is even in a management position to make that call. We have never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from a store employee. It was totally unnecessary. Afterwards, my husband brushed it off and decided to go in today thinking everything
would be ok. Zack is really young and he thought that zack had a bad day before and was trying to micromanage. When my husband walked in zack said " So, Do you think my band has an experation? Do you think I forgot about you? You need to leave!" and my husband who is pretty upset calls him a name and walks out of the store. We are so confused as to why we have been treated like this. Ive come to the conclusion that he has a discrimination issue with us. As long as he is employed there we will not continue to give you our buisness. No one deserves to be treated/judged this way. I own a buisness a few blocks down the street and I will make sure to let every client know about this matter. I really hope you can resolve this problem. Thank you
