To whom it may concern:

On thursday may 2nd, 2019 at store #4984 I was falsely accused of theft by dollar general employees. The police were called and my person, my bags, and my car were searched by police in which their search turned up nothing. I was also informed I was banned from the store even though there were no stolen items found on me or in my car. I had my 8 year old niece with me which made the humiliating situation even worse! I shop at that store almost daily and I probably spend close to $300-$500 every month! I want to know how your employees are trained in a situation as such. What gives them the right to ban me from the store when I wasnt shoplifting!? I can only hope that your corporation will properly address this situation.

I am a employee at this store and the work conditions are really bad Evert Gains has came to work high I reported it nothing was done other co workers are not doing there jobs including the assistant manager Matthew Sparks there hygiene is bad because customers have complained I have reported everything to the main Manger April Wallace and she has continued to let this go on I have had to do my job and other co workers jobs because nothing is been do about the situation I open the store this morning to come in to puke dried to the floor from were the assistant manager Matthew Sparks and Evert Gains worked last night garbage over flowing out of the garage cans trash all over the store and floors left dirty from no sweeping or mopping been done the store isn't been kept up and the Manger has been told several times about all this from me about all the stuff going on with co workers and the assistant manager not doing his job and nothing has been done I don't feel like I can continue working in these conditions and doing more than my share of work I don't find it fair at all I've add a photo of puke that was leftover all night because the assistant manager and co worker Evert Gains didn't want to clean it up and I had to when I came in this morning...I'm upset over the work conditions I deal with at this store

I went to the DG store and got me Soft White LED bulbs. When I opened the box there was only 1 bulb instead of two. Someone got into the box and removed one of the bulbs. Not only that the store had merchandise all over the store. It looks like the Truck order has not been put up. Plus you can't hardly find anything in the store the way the store is out of disarray. The store is not like what it use to be. It use to have things in the store the customer needed. Now most of it just stuff no one wants. The store is not well organized at all. its sad how the store looks now.

I am a frequent shopper of the Dollar General in Perryville, AR. To say I am disturbed by how your employees at that store treat customers is an understatement. There is always a line to the back of the store with waiting customers and one cashier. The store is cluttered, it takes a act of Congress to get assistance with anything. The managers are extremely hateful to the customers and cashier's. I witnessed first hand one manager snapping at a little elderly lady because the check reader wasn't working. They greet no one. There are no smiles or acting like they enjoy the job. I am sick of the rude behavior of all of the employees. Gracie is the only employee that says anything when paying customers come in. You need a major overhaul in this store in a huge way. I also work in retail and this is not how a business should be conducted.

I am an employee of Dollar General. I am appalled of the conditions of a store I recently visited (store #08331 Oak Harbor Ohio). I would never tell anyone I worked for DG in this area, I'm ashamed! This store needs a crew that CARES! I suggest a major rework of all of the staff.. ALL rolltainers were on the floor, (self-serve?) shelves empty (I assume still on rolltainers), no room to pass thru the asiles, products on floors, 3 shopping carts for the whole store. The store was dirty, dingy, lights out in coolers. This NEEDS looking into ASAP, it will turn our customers away! Where is the district manager? Why would this store be left like this? Where are thehigh standards for DG? Shame on whomever is responsable!

The entranceway/exit doors on the left side of the building have been broken for a long time, probably a few months. There is a hand made sign to use the door at the other side of the building. Why can't you fix them so that customers can enter and exit instead of being sent to the other side of the building ? It seems like nobody cares !

On May 3, 2019 I went into the brand new Dollar General store in Poy Sippi, wi 54967. I loved the store! It was clean, beautiful and a much need asset to our very small town.

The only thing I didn't like was the lighting. I think the lights were LED's strung on thin wires from the ceiling. The whole store seemed dark and in some areas, it was very hard to see. Either there aren't enough lights, or they aren't bright enough. The ceilings are very high, so maybe soak up some light? I'm in my 60's, but see fine other places.

There is a new DG at Wilson, La and I go here once or twice a week but there is this one particular woman who was rude and might be breaking the company's policy.

Everytime I come in to the store she never cared about my business there. But today I had enough and so I am writing this complaint. This morning despite of my long wait in line she did not greet me, apologize to me for waiting, or thank me after checking out, she only handed out my receipt and moved on...cold treatment and never spoke to me period... What so annoying about it was, she was so chatty and helpful to the customer ahead of me and when it's my turn it was a complete switch of personality. It was so rude for a person working in a store that involves customer service. I did not look at her name tag because I was so angry and stormed off. The previous encounters were disappointing but her today's behavior is unacceptable. This woman is always in the morning shift and has a heavy set body. She may be the store manager but obviously not a good example to her subordinates.

Also, I've seen several times that she's with a child at work, the child might be 4 years old or over, not really sure but definitely not at school yet. I saw the child would just wonder in the store, sit somewhere while playing or eat, and sometimes ran around. I don't know if the child is hers or other employees' at the back, but she was the only DG employee in the store when the child was present. I am not aware of your company policy but I've never seen a DG employee brought a child to work and stayed there till the shift was over. This DG is a new and nice store and the other employees are polite and friendly...but this store may lose some customers and sales because of a one bad employee. Please take action!

I was in the store at Tullos, La today 5/1/19 my receipt time shows 17:20. I was in the store around 35 minutes or more. When I entered the store the employee was at the register talking to what seemed to be her boyfriend which he had kids with him. She did not move from that one spot I know for 20 minutes talking with him. After he finally decided to leave she goes in the office which is behind the registers and a customer yells back to her and says can you please help me, this customer was wanting to check out her response was I will be there in a minute. I feel that this was wrong because she had time to flirt with her boyfriend but couldn't take the same time for this customer.
Well her boyfriend was in the store I heard her say very load that some other employee decided not to talk to her rude anymore because she jump her back. I just don't think that should have been talked about in front of others. I was in the back of the store when this was done.
I don't want to leave my name because I shop there all the time and I have never experienced this before with other employees.
I just wanted to give y'all a heads up.

I went to the Dollar General today and noone at cash register with line. Then I find a 5.00 bill on floor near register and say wow just found 5 dollars manager tells me to put it in donation box I tell her no. She then tells me it is store policy to hand it over and if noone comes back they put it in donation box. Whose policy is this store number 13928

Mold found in 24 pack of diet pepsi 12 oz cans from dollar General in Alden, NY 14004. Pepsico now has it and they tested it...they stated a can of pop did not open inside the packaging BUT that food somehow slipped threw the handle of the packaging during delivery/shipping or at store and that it was been there a while...

I ended up in the emergency room on 4/13/19 with severe asthma exacerbation and was put out of work for 2 weeks while struggled to breathe due to the mold i was exposed to in 24 pack of diet pepsi sold at dollar general in Alden, NY

I went to the DG on Oak Dr in Plymouth, Indiana on 04/29/2019
Upon entering the store, the cashier did Not greet me, as she was too busy on her cell phone, she did not even look up from her phone !
The store was is disarray, boxes and carts blocked the isleways, a fire hazard to say the least.
Attempted to go down an isle where the clothing was located, you could not maneuver down the isle due to hangers and clothing scattered on floor.
This is inexcusable.
This is a fairly new store, it or any other store should never look like this store did.

A girl named Alicia that works Dollar General in Middlebourne WV 26149 is very disrespectful. She is always on her phone and when she isnt its laying on register beside hed playing videos for her to shop. She is very rudw to customers and does absolutely nothing besides stand behind counter. She is nevwr out on the floor helping other workers put things away

To whom this may concern, I was in your store in Cordova, Sc 29039 when I asked an Employee whose name was John for help. when saying excuse me, he (John) glanced up and rolled his eyes. After asking for help he came back with a response "it should be down that isle mam and if it's not we don't have it" he was very rude. I visit this Dollar General a few times a week and have never had a problem with any employee. His attitude makes me not even want to go back. Thanks, Kayla.

the last two dg me coupons did not work the one for the free cheeze its and the one for the free pop tart cereal it didnt work for any of our employees yes i pick the right product and yes i picked the coupon but they did not work. you need to resolve this problem please its frustrating when you think you are getting something free and you are not

The store clerk Rebecca Hartman was extremely rude to me and mumbled a racist ethnic slur towards me. I inquired if she had actually said this and ignored me. I asked for the manager and I voiced my complaint. The General manager Jennifer Higgins came to her employees defense and said she wouldn't say something like that. I explained it was said under her breath. I was then asked not to come back into the store when I spend upwards $100_$150 there weekly since I've just purchased a home in the area. I have recieved horrible customer service from these same store clerks prior to this horrible hurtful experience. They have terrible attitudes and talk about customers amongst themselves while other customers wait in line. I never thought I would be called a racial slur, the word "[censored]", in 2019. Legal action and reports to the better business bureau, as well as local news broadcasting networks, will be made if the clerk and manager mentioned above are not reprimanded and terminated. This area is predominantly African American and the above clerk and manager exhibit racism and call customer's ethnic racist slurs.

We love the idea of having a Dollar General in our small town, but our store is dirty and garbage in the floor . The isles and full of boxes all the time, product that needs to be put on the shelf's . You can't even push a buggy. This is to nice of a store to be junked up . We deserve better . My daughter in law was in town on Monday and she was so shocked when she went into the store, she said if that was in her town she wouldn't use the store. I was embarrassed .

My girlfriend works at dollar general and she has worked by herself for 2 days now 8 hours plus alone. Who in the right mind makes someone work alone when she can get robbed, or anything could happen. You guys need to fix this one employee working crap and quit being cheap. Can't believe you guys want to be cheap over safety but everyone cares about money
