Dollar General two young men working

I just visited this store to run in for a few items.notice a young boy around 17 and young girl around 16 stuffing items down their pants followed them down several
Aisles to make sure that is what they were doing and yes they were stealing.
I alerted the 2 young men working the registers and one young man yells across the store what I had just told him and the description of the people stealing .if Dollar General is going to let worked cover for people stealing than Dollar General doesn't need to raise prices for loss of merchandise.this is not the first Dollar General that I have been in and witness people stealing .

Dollar General a rude clerk

The girls name is Lizzy she was very rude I didn't wear my glasses I thought I handed her a 10 and a 20 but handed her a 5 and a 20 she said lady do you not have enough cash do you have to put your [censored] back I said ma'am my stuff is 26 dollars she said like I said you ain't got enough but I am not the first she is always nasty to all customers I ask for the managers name she said go ahead I have several complaints they ain't going to do anything

Dollar General service and policy

When has dollar general started making you leave your purse at the front door I have my important things in my purse the lady Kalia said it's leave my purse or shop else where I was pissed I asked who was the store manager she said Patrice no last name but who and when did dollar general put into policy if I didn't leave my purse at the front I couldn't shop there ok so I took my money to Family Dollar where I don't have to leave my purse at the front and I hate Patrice wasn't there to tell me herself because I would like to speak with her boss to ask her why would she agree to let Patrice tell customer's if they don't leave the purse with their personal information in it up front to shop some where else I advice anybody not to shop at this dollar general because of that policy it's not right

Dollar General front door

I shop at this location at least 5 to 6 times a week maybe more just a estimate . Over the past three to four months the front door have not worked properly. The workers in the store have fans going behide the counter trying to stay cool do to the air going out the door. I have ask the manager Mr. Brown how long will it be before they repair the front door. He replied, " they are working on it not exactly sure when it will be repaired. I spoke with him around the first week in June. The door was repaired for a couple of days now it's down again. Dollar general need to pick up the past as to protecting their customers and employees. That door can save a customer are employee life alerting them when it's open. We are living in a dangerous world today have the door wide open the entire day is not the best thing for the employees without a security on duty. You have someone wife, daughter, son, and husband in your hand their safety should be first priority. A concern customer.

Dollar General coupons

I checked out around 7:45p.m. on Saturday, July 20. I tried using my five dollars off of a 25 dollar purchase coupon and didn't receive it. The cashier told me they don't work after seven now. There is nowhere in the fine print that says this. I have been couponing there for months, and I was upset over the recent change of not being able to use my five dollars off coupon with my two dollar off coupons. I go out of my way to buy diapers from dollar general, but I'm considering taking my business elsewhere. Reconsider this change.

Dollar General wrong person arrested

Me being michael strawn father of kristen strawn. Kristen was arrested this afternoon for trespassing by glencoe police dept, glencoe al 35905 officer simmons. Teresa franklin being store manager told me she had no name, just blond female when she filed complaint this morning. Franklintold me she had no name nut she had warned the female she was not to be in store. My daughter kristen does alot of shopping there an has never stole anything, never been warned about going there. I asked mrs franklin to show me the tape of my daughter an sht tried to but some reason couldnt pull up the tape. I assured frankin it wasnt my daughter. I told mrs franklinthere was a blond female that stayed at my house until couple weeks ago. I made her leave my house because she told me she got caught stealing from the dollar general. I made her leave my house at that time. I called the police an asked for officer mckinsey to call me back. I left a message on his phone asking him to call me. He never called. My daughter arrested today was a mistake, shes in jail now an i want to know how my daughters name came up when manager terase franklin told me she had no name. Im going to my attorney tomo morning. Dollar General i' am complaining about the service.

The new manager, she is a old( well appears to be an old lady), she's always grumpy and frowning. I have been living in this area for over seven years and she is by far the worst. This is my second incident with this rude lady. The first incident she told my daughter not to be running in the store, she's 6 years old, that was not her place to say anything to my daughter, which I was a couple of steps in front of her, I didn't have a chance to tell my daughter not to run, she took it upon herself to intervene, as of she was unsupervised. I simple to the rude lady that " I have her", and she never looked up at me, just kept stocking. The second incident took place today, while my daughter and I was shopping, once we were ready to check out and the nice cashier proceeded to ring up my items, as I way h the prices, like I always do, I noticed I price difference and I made it know to the cashier, so she got the mean and rude manager, who on the same aisle as the item that I was making a purchase from. She rudely said " I'll make the change this time, as if it was my mistake. The price showed $3 and l was charged $4. Then she said this stick is from 2018 and snatched it down. She DO NOT need to work with the public! Yeap it was a dollar, but it was mines. The owner wouldn't let me take a dollar item without paying, so why would I give away my money and this is not the first incident, with the wrong prices at checkout, normally I would let it go, but today with this rude manager, I was not going to let it go. She is not a good representative of Dollar General. If another incident occur, I'll have a few words for her and then call corporate with her name.

Dollar General store

I don't understand why the President or CEO Todd Vasos doesn't review all the complaints listed for Dollar General. I am an employee there (to be former employee) and am displeased with how the corporate office expects us to work with limited hours and stock shelves and clean the store. I am not the "Energizer Bunny" with excelled speed. Are the "Employee & Customer Complaints" every addressed? Don't tell me that you have one person (if that) answering complaints. It's time for corporate to come to each store and work just a few hours to see how everything works.

Isn’t that the truth, the CEO or corporate headquarters really should be ashamed of themselves to produce a company like this. Listen all companies want to make money but if you don’t put the mdse up on the shelves or keep it clean and neat no one wants to shop there . Real simple train your employees and get a grew that cleans, and grooms your company

Dollar General empty shelves

DG is the only place in our small town to buy necessities. It's my understanding they get a truck two times a week, yet the shelves are always empty. Especially common items. Either they don't keep shelves stocked or management does a poor job ordering. It used to be I'd rather shop at DG but it's so frustrating I'm ready to drive the 10 miles to go to a store that can keep their shelves stocked. The next time I'm there I will take pictures and post on here

I stopped shopping at the DOLLAR GENERAL stores, yes, reason, shelves are always empty. The other reason, ONE CHECKER with long lines...! I am wondering, because of all the odd places Dollar General has built those stores in, are they going to close them down as what they call a grocery store, reopen later on as what, what is really going on?

Dollar General isles being blocked, long lines, rude cashiers

You can never get through the isles they are always blocked, the shelves are always messy and understocked. The long lines with only 2 registers, usually only one being ran, causes such a long wait time. The cashiers are very rude and never seem to want to help fix the problems. Walking in or around you can barely get around in that store, everyone is on top of one another. Something needs to be done for better shopping experience.

Dollar General management

I had purchased a DG Twin Pack Automatic spray refill and found that the dispenser could push down the sprayer. I had a hard time pushing it down with my finger. This purchase was on 07.14.19, receipt # 899626172142839816310920919919918015221161.

Today, 07.17.19 @ 11:20 am I tried to return the twin pack refills and explained to the manager who said I could not return the items because the packaging had been taken off. I told her I removed the packaging carefully and all it would take is two pieces of tape. She refused to do the return, turned and walked away; I will never again set foot in a DG because of her curt, sour comments.

Dollar General customer service

Every time I go into this location there are boxes piled in the aisles even blocking them at times. Boxes even block the fire exits. Nothing is ever stocked on the shelves yet the employees are standing around. You have to find an employee to be able to purchase anything and they are usually outside smoking and flirting with men they have come visit them. I've witnessed several employees including the manager discuss patrons talking bad about them and even fighting patrons. Several patrons have voiced complaints to the manager but nothing is ever done.

Dollar General didn’t pay the time I worked there

I worked there a couple of days and I had to leave the job because of family issues. So I talked to the manager and they told me that I would get paid that Friday, so Friday came by and I checked if I had got paid and I didn't so I called the district manager and they told me that they needed my information from they manager so he called them and they sent my info to him and he called me saying that I will be paid the next Friday and its already been 3weeks and i still haven't got paid and that it was in the process for me getting paid

Dollar General rude customer service

I was i n the Dollar General store on Governor's Drive, near I565 Huntsville, AL . I work near and decided that the cheapest way for me to eat lunch every day is to go there. I went in and got my snacks and went to the counter. After waiting a few minutes(have no idea what the cashier was doing), I realized I left my wallet in my car. So I left the items on the counter and went to my car. As I left the store I heard "Don't come back" This happened on July 16, 2019, at about 11:20 am. I went to go back in the store and she would not let me back in. I did nothing wrong and she is right about one thing. I am not coming back not until I hear back and know somebody above her has heard my complaint. She has no business working in customer service. I did nothing wrong. Dollar General terrible manager

I visited this location a few weeks ago and the manager was so rude. She was hateful to her employees and to the customers. There were also vendors in the store that day making their deliveries and she was the exact same with them. She needs to realize that without customers coming into her store and vendors delivering products she would not even have a job. I overheard many customers state they would not be back and I also overheard one of the vendors say very unnice things about her. This is one dollar general that I will not return to. Thank god there are others in my town. However, if something is not done with the Manager at this store I may stop shopping Dollar General all together, since that is the kind of employees that they want to hire for a manager position.

Dollar General employee

I was in Dollar General Store South Main Street Wilkes-Barre PA July 16th 10 a.m. I got two things and went to the counter I waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the register I hollered I Whistle twice nobody finally the lady came to the register and she said what an attitude don't whistle like that I said well then you should have a bell she said we should but Dollar General don't by Bells I said well I don't have time to stand here and wait I'm a contractor and everyday I buy my crew of 15 sodas chips candy cookies I spend a lot of money there every month I'm not going back anymore they lost my business she was very very loud and harassed me she said I'm the only one in the store I have no help well I said then you should be monitoring the register she gave me nothing but a hard time and back talk me I will never go to Dollar General again. This lady was on at 10 a.m. and she wears glasses July 16th 2019 I told her to review the cameras on how long I was there some one should to see the hard time she gave me. Dollar General cashier

I bought lightbulbs. She told me the total was $12.99. I gave her $20. She gave me $3.01 in change as she said $7.01. She did not offer my receipt. She stole $5.00 from me. Dollar General customer service and behavior

I have been in this Dollar General many times and every single time the service is worse.
1. Every employee was sitting outside, not even a single greeting.
2.I was in the store 10 minutes before anyone even came in and of course they went back out.
3. I had to stand and wait at the check out for someone to come in.
4. Kids behind the register and all over the store, kid belong to an employee!
IM NEVER GOING BACK TO DOLLAR GENERAL AGAIN UNLESS THIS ISSUE IS ADDRESSED

Dollar General baby doll with sound

This item was sitting in $5.00 slot but when rang up was $8.50. This happens to me alot. Very aggravated. Is this new thing of getting customers to buy? No happy at all. Why must a customer have to pay for the mistake? The item wasn't like throwed in there, it was sitting upright to the front. I would understand if the item was deliberately throwed in that place but it was there neatly.

Dollar General rude behaviour

The clerk was talking on her cell phone while ringing up the purchases of the customer in front of me. Then she continued to talk on the phone when ringing up my purchases. Also, she did not tell me how much my purchases cost. When I told her I had to guess she became angry, slapped the receipt onto the counter and pointed at it.
She also wiped her nose with one of her hands before using that hand to put my purchases in the bags.
