Cant get them to work I have two. Cant get a hold of them tryed allways. Phone-chat nothing. I want my money back. Iam going to bbb and fdic have phone numbers-look up the company about complants.36.00 and 20.00 bucks. Iam on this for real. We walked in 10 minutes before closing to get dog food and one of the employees muttered rudely " why did they have to walk in". I thought this to be rude and inconsiderate due to the fact that I am a paying customer. The employee's name is Trenna Meyers. it happened April 4, 2019.
I would like a formal apology. and for her to be reprimanded for rude behavior if possible. I would like to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Digital coupon discount for febreeze oil warmer starter kit was not honored at checkout. The sticker at the store shelf and digital coupon showed buy two febreeze oil warmer starter kits get $4.00 off. Furts Associate at store I spoke with confirmed the digital coupon discount but was not sure why the register didn't apply the discount.i proceeded to speak with customer service via phone and was transferred to the technical support department. The lady took my information and told me I would be sent an email. By the time I tried getting help from a second associate at the store, she told me the sticker was put up erroneously and that the digital coupon app. changes constantly. This doesn't make any sense since the sticker at the store shelf expires on April 6. I sincerely believe this is false advertising.

Store #205 has many issues that truly need to be looked into.. they just lost one of the best employees they have had in a long time.. one employee on night shift take breaks constantly.. and is late every shift.. has been warned and talked to by manager but doesn't change anything and getting good pay! 4 employees in that store only run register.. never get carts.. stock freight.. work the food truck.. make change runs.. the employee that quit did all of it every week and ran register and one of lowest paid employees.. the manager is absent alot.. and that's where the problem starts.. if she was doing her job maybe she would get good employees who would stick around instead if being took advantage of.. took for granted.. so unfair.. this store has had many complaints already made on Kendra Kirby.. the employee who has bad mouth.. attitude.. and always late and making good money.. it just sickens me to see unfair and poor managing.. this store #205 really needs to look into the managers and be resolved.. only one register open majority of the time.. and customers complaining..

I and a few other customers were doing out weekly shopping when we smelled something odd. We knew the smell was marijuana and then we saw a 6 foot guy come walking from in behind the store. And we found out he was a cashier for the company. A few of us called in and spoke with the general manager about the cashier smoking pot reeking of the smell in the store stumbling and laughing as we ask questions. The older lady who works in there said the GM won't do anything cause he's her pet. They recently fired the assistant in there cause she said something to him. He cussed the assistant out and told her she was a piece of [censored]. Someone needs to take a look into this I personally know of 15 customers whom are taking there business elsewhere. You shouldn't have ever of gotten rid of that assistant in there. Her smile her helpfulness her sincerity and her love of everything truly shows

I've never worked for a company so sneaky & conniving as Dollar generals. They treat their workers with no respect at all! Expect everything to be perfect in those stores & all the stuff they send in those small stores become impacted which they expect the salaried paying store mangers to over work themselves to get the work done! [censored] I'm over it

Manager is a joke. She stands and smoke every few minutes. Never does anything. Treats employees badly. The other manager, Bobbie isn't much better. She stands around on her phone all the time doing nothing complaining about customers. She tried hooking up with my brother when he saw her smoking a joint in the parking lot by her car. Stated she was just waiting to return to the aweful store. The store is trashed always. No good employees there and the ones that are hate it. Getting high together at work I assumed was against policy. Not there. Everyone needs to be tested and fired. It's a disgrace

This complaint is a general complaint to the CEO of Dollar General. I live in NE Ohio and all of the stores here in the area are a complete disaster! Seeing complaints from people in the other states it seems this is the norm for all his stores! There are metal carts and boxes all over the place, you cannot even get down the aisles. Products are always out and never stocked on the shelves! The worst part is that they expect their employees to stock shelves, unload the truck, and cashier all at the same time! I have heard they even expect workers to come in off the clock to complete tasks! These employees make low wages and are expected to work like dogs! The hours the manager gets each week to work with are ridiculous. It is no wonder nothing gets done and the stores look like a war zone! The bags they use are cheap and thin, many times I have had them break on me while loading my car! The CEO is cheap, cheap, cheap! Making millions off of low income people and treating his employees like garbage! I will be shopping elsewhere in the future and everyone will know what a greedy cheapskate this CEO is!

I went the last Sunday to your locations in Deltona, Debary Avenue to buy a news paper like as the last 4 weeks. Usually I found a short line, maybe 3 or 4 customer. But the last Sunday I noticed a couple that never seen before and also one old lady in a wheelchair. When the door was open the couple took 3 news paper each one, plus the lady in wheelchair also took 3 news paper. Normally every customer is going to take 1 each. When was my turn to pick it up it was the last one, behind me 3 o 4 more customer waiting. They ask to the employee the rule for that kind of merchandise and nobody respond. When I was in front the register to pay, I ask again and nothing, I talk with the lady about it because in my opinion is not nice, but she did not sdaid nothing.
I am a regular customer but honestly is not fair and against your bussiness that situation.

do you folks have anyone working for you with the name of Megan opplinger or Megan Belt or Megan Stimpel her real name is Megan Belt she uses these other names that's not on her birth certificate .if she doesn't work for you why is she behind the counter she's not someone I would trust. she's very rude .she's not awenest at all.so I would like to know if she work for the Dollar General or not if so I will take my money else where I shop there all the time tody I seen her behind the counter by the register 3-25-2019 at 9:49 am
