Disneyland Interactive Curtesy

I know my complete is of no value to you but I have to inform you any ways. I came from out of state for a fun field trip with my son. Unfortunately I’ll never come back to this park due to my experience with this park now. Not only did we stay at the Disney Hotel we also tried spending 3 days at your parks. Making reservations for park was a joke. I was under the impression that making reservations was to control the crowd. How I was so disappointed when I still had to wait for over 75 minutes for rides and even though I had purchased the jeany pass that I paid and extra $25 for each ticket to reserve spots for rides was a joke I still would have waited even longer for the ride. Then we go to the California Adventure on 5/30/2023 sat down to eat dinner then was told we had to live the park because it was closing for grad night. I was never informed that the park was going to shout down sooner than normal time. So we had to pack up are food and exit the park. Then as paying customers we have to walk two miles from the park to smoke and then get harassed by vendors on the street telling us to move. Your policy’s for the smoking population is unthinkable to us. Then you decide that it’s okay to have a man dress as a princess, men having fake nails on that r painted bright orange because they have rights, but yet it’s not oaky to have spots for smokers to protect are rights. Your to much for the left side and not in the middle. Disneyland isn’t the same anymore it used to be about fantasy not all about the politics. You have changed fantasy to pushing politics to are children. I’m so over all corporations looking at the dollar and not the consumers rights and taking the joy out of a family friendly parks. I’m a middle person myself but I’m also about teaching my child instead of corporate or schools doing it for me. How do you tell a young child why a princess has facial hair and looks like a man? You charge this awful amount for just a few days of what’s supposed to be fun into a dreadful vacation and some of us thinking we just wasted $10,000 for a miserable vacation that should have been a blast for us and are children. There is no reason you shouldn’t have smoking areas for the parents. You have several areas that could be made into an area for them instead your worried about this and that being this and that instead taking rides out because of this and that. If Waltdisney was alive today this would never take place. He himself was a heavy smoker and wanted his guests to have fun and for children to have that fairytale fantasy instead of worrying about normal everyday life problems. He wanted a place that everyone could enjoy and let go and find their inner child. Instead his creation is now miserable and expansive for the everyday person. Not enough rides for guests and the wait time alone for just one ride is unbelievable. Instead of getting rid of rides and making something new in there place you should think of keeping them and adding more rides come up with a plane for faster lines instead of speeding up the rides so the consumers can’t enjoy the them. Come up with plans make towers for smokers so smoke is above the children or making that island in the middle of the park a smoking area even the stem boat that never has anyone on it a smoking area for in the park turn the hotel roofs into smoking areas for the guest that just paid a fortune to stay at the park so they can feel safe also. The street isn’t a safe area for your guest.

Disneyland Interactive Escorted out for a mistake a employee made

To whom it may concern:

I recently visited the park on March 27th, 2023 and mobile ordered a drink at Clarabelle’s, upon arriving I realize I had forgotten my physical ID at home and showed a digital scan of it. The worker accepted it and I continued to my second location at Hollywood Lounge where I had ordered a drink for a friend as a belated birthday gift. He showed his ID and they let us leave. A few moments later, around 2:50 we were approached by security and they asked us to leave the park since I was unable to show my physical ID. When they told me I couldn’t drink, I also handed over the drink to my friend. I had no problem not having the beverage. If I would have been denied the drink at Clarabelle’s then I would have said okay and continued with my day. It is unfair that they served me the drink and I was never told no. A moment before we got the second drink I also saw a lady say she forgot her ID and the same worker that called security on us told the lady “Um just take off your glasses.. oh okay” and let her continue with her day. She should not pick and choose whose ID she wants to look at. I strongly believe that it was the workers responsibility to not sell the beer and I would have been okay with that, but I was never told no or denied the beer. They not only ruined my day, but also my friend that had bought the three day pass and was forced to leave early and lose the rest of his day at the park. I am 29 years old, I was trying to enjoy a drink with a friend, I’m clearly not underage, which is exactly why I expressed I would have been fine if they refused to sell me the drink in the first place. When we asked to speak to a manager they said “they’re going to tell you the same thing” and refused to provide us with the information. My friend should at least be refunded the day or given the chance to go another day since he was escorted out of the park and did nothing wrong.

Desired outcome: Please refund or give my friend the opportunity to make up the day since he was not even given to option to stay at the park. I would appreciate a response at [protected]@yahoo.com

Disneyland Interactive Food at Cafe New Orleans

The Monte Cresto sandwich was terrible. The sandwich was wonderful inthe past at the Blue Bayou restaurant. This sandwich, today, was like an open face sandwich. The ham was not very good. There was no turkey. Cooked very poorly. Nothing like in the past. What happened to the good chefs? Would not ever order this again! I was there for my birthday on January 30. 2023.

The server was very gracious. She noticed that I was eating my food. She offered to get me the chicken. The chicken was small and very dry. Not tasty. The only thing about my dinner was the mashed potatoes were alright.

Desired outcome: Need to make the Monte Cresto like it used to be. As for the chicken, it should be moist.

Disneyland Interactive Visit on 8/1/22

August 1st was our 45th wedding anniversary. Both being raised in CA, we've been going to Disneyland since we were toddlers. We thought it would be nice to visit the park one last time before we move out of state. Make a day, opening to close! We should have saved our money or gone somewhere else.

First off, why do you need a reservation on the day that you go? There is very obviously no cap on the amount of people that are allowed to enter the park. Some areas, especially around New Orleans Square were so crowded that it took almost a half an hour (not an exaggeration) just to shuffle 100 yards along the walkway. The most crowded day I've been in 60+ years.

I wanted to book a day with a tour guide, but the web site said that they are not available at this time. However, we did see 3 different groups with a tour guide. Just for the select few I guess.

The first ride we got in line for broke down after we were an hour in line. The second ride broke down when we were halfway through it and we were escorted off, without any apology, just a "you can try it later if you want to". We also had 2 more rides break down after about an hour in line for each one of them.

We did have one park cast member ask us how our day was, so I told him. His response was "It's all part of the experience". Really? This is how they are trained to interact with guests now?

We'll never be back and will suggest to all our friends and family to actually enjoy a day at a different theme park. Not at the Most Unhappiest (and frustrating) Place on Earth.

Desired outcome: Any response as I have not received one through any other channels. An apology at the least an offer for a visit on another day at the most.

Disneyland Interactive Disney's California Adventure Nightmare

My wife and I went to Disney's California Adventure in California this past March and we were very disappointed with it all.

First, the amount of people inside the park was beyond ridiculous. We were constantly dodging people everywhere we walked in the park and if we stopped to enjoy some scenery, we got bumped into by others walking by.

Second, the wait times to get onto a ride or into an attraction was a joke. 60 minutes up to 120 minutes or longer wait times. We arrived when the park opened and left around 4pm and we only enjoyed 5 rides total.

Third, the rides/attractions kept breaking down or having some sort of issue that only lengthened our wait time. There is really no excuse for this. For the amount of money we paid in tickets, parking, food, etc. we expect uninterrupted enjoyment.

For my wife and I, this experience left a sour taste in our mouths and pocketbook. We're done with Disney until they can figure out how to bring the fun back to their parks

Desired outcome: I don't need a boiler plate response. You're better off taking my complaints as serious and make some changes to your business model because I can say with some authority, your company is headed down the wrong path.

Disneyland Interactive Not getting what i paid for

I would like to state first that I am a huge Disney fan and I love everything about Disney- until now.

I was excited to take my grandchildren to Disneyworld for the very first time, and I had been waiting for the Covid pandemic to simmer down so I could do that. I had not been to Disney since my children were little, so I was very excited, and I knew some things had changed. I did my due diligence and investigated some things online, so I knew what to do. I purchased tickets ahead of time and made a park reservation which is something new. I got my tickets in the mail and about 3 weeks before our scheduled trip I started to look for dining reservations and was discouraged that they were already completely booked for the time that we were going to be in in the parks. I had thought that 3 weeks would be ample time to book a reservation for a restaurant but apparently not.

Then I noticed that next to our day for magic kingdom it stated that the park hours were from 9-4:30. I thought what I was seeing was a typo, how was the park only open until 4:30? I was pretty sure it had said it was open until 11 when I had booked the tickets. So, I called the Disney line, waited on the phone for about ½ hour, finally got someone on the line and they said they would look into it. They came back on the line and confirmed that yes, 4:30 was the correct closing time due to a special event………What? Why were tickets even being sold on this special event day, and not only that, but they were also being sold at FULL price! This is a 7-hour difference! So, for 130.00 x11 (that’s how many people are in my party) I am only getting 7 hours of park time? So, I told the phone representative ok, I’m flexible, we are there all week, move my reservations to magic kingdom for another day, when we can spend the whole day there. She put me on hold and apparently talked to a manager who told her that there were no open days to move me to – all the days were booked up. I said, well they were not booked up when I made the original reservation so isn’t there something you can do to help me out? She stated there was absolutely nothing she could do, and it is what it is and we would not receive any type of compensation for the cost of a full day park admission even though we would only be able to go for ½ the day.

This is craziness at it’s finest. Of course, I am upset at the park only being open for ½ the day – but what makes me even more upset is the fact that I have to pay for a full day…….and there was nothing they could do to help me and that is not right or fair to the paying customers who save for years sometimes to take their families to Disney! It’s not something simple that I can change, I have already made plane, hotel, and car reservations! So, I am stuck paying full price for a ½ day park admission – no fireworks, parade, or dinner reservations. Very disappointing – do better Disney.

Desired outcome: Partial refund or a change in my reservation day.

Disneyland Interactive A Mickey Mouse, light up bubble machine

Got it during a parade... Bought it home, keeping it upright.. When I turned it on for my 2 year old grandson, the bubbles came out in big blobs, not little bubbles filling the air.. I tried blowing on it, my daughter said she saw sellers doing that that and it didn't work.. I have no sales reciept.. Must have lost it in the middle of parade.. Can I have it replaced.. I kept the old one.. Marla Presby.

Disneyland Interactive My entire experience

Hi my family was there for the week of Thanksgiving. From the point of buying the tickets and trying to add a extra day which we couldn't) was hard. Then we got to the park and was told they were booked. My kids were so disappointed. (Ages 6 and 7) There were rides we wanted to go on that kept breaking down, we had a hard time eating at places because the app wouldn't take my card and you couldn't pay cash, so my kids and I went with out. The staff was extremely rude where on the California soaring ride the gal working there Abby made my kids cry (Ages 6 and 7) because she couldn't wait for them to find there masks and told us we needed to leave immediately. The guy on the pirates ride was so rude and told me no ugh try again when I was adjusting my mask. The staff was rude everywhere except one gal in the Mexican restaurant who told me she was so sorry for my experience there and told me I should say something. I couldn't get help in the shops so my kids went with out and and honestly it was so stressful being there I was ready to go home. I said something to a gal out side of guest relations who said wow all I can do is give you 3 fast passes as she just wanted me gone. Also after being there 3 days already spending money she informed us that there was a opening for the day we wanted but we couldn't do it then after all that. Then the last day we tried to use them on the cares ride and that broke down as well with us on them... twice... I watched a employee come from out of a employee area and screamed at 2 little kids for climbing on a structure. I think your staff forgot where they work. ugh I just wanted to show my kids this magical time and the magic of Disneyland and it was so far from that. We were so disappointed and just let down. Hungry, tired, and over the stressful experience. I don't know when I will be able to bring my kids back again because I saved so long just to take them and if I could I don't think I will. That's so much money and planning and psyching your kids for this magical unforgettable time just for disappointment. Disneyland you should do better and be better. Your ruining the magic

Desired outcome: I don't even know if you care to give a magical or even a descent experience, but that's all we wanted.

Disneyland Interactive New gender neutral policy

I am 70 years old & have been going to Disneyland since 2 years old when it first opened. Years upon years of yearly passes, as well as my kids, 27 family members & now grand kids. Removing the excitement of announcing " Ladies & Gentlemen, Boys & Girls " From your parades & fireworks show and also removing movies adjusting park rides to be more "WOKE" has turned all of us away from your company while you bow down to politics, in stead of the Family Units that enjoy your parks. Mr. Walt Disney must be turning over in his grave right now. It's a very sad day for all of not to associate with your wonderful Family parks in our futures. Disneyland Interactive Regarding 2 female employees 3/8/21

It was so nice to be at Disney! I entered thru the 'drop off' on Harbor Bl. as I rented a conveyance scooter, very lost, never been here before. A male and female there for some kind of search. From my purse I took out phone, wallet and darn I meant to leave the metal whistle in the car for protection. The female confiscated it?! Why? Well, idiot said, you could make too much noise with it. I am 68yo. Good luck ever finding a metal whistle again in life.
Buena vista road... I never drove that scooter and was to get into a LINE. My daughter was there so I made a u-turn feeling pretty lucky I pretty much ended up where I intended when a frumpy looking cast member, female, pointed at the line on the ground, 'you need to be behind the line.' I mouthed off "excuse me for being a foot off for crying out loud"! (Y'all are lucky to not see me run into the Starbucks window as I've done before or get the scooter hung up on shelves in a store and bring it all down again.) Her hair looked thin curly and wild, she is at least forty years old with a downsy look to her face. The lines on the ground are marked off way more than every 6'. CDC should've said what they meant . Covid is NOT droplet but airborne and that we should all have been wearing N95's all year! But they, CDC, have always made major mistakes. This 6 foot thing being one. She paced me all the way down the road to the store entrance!
Maybe the rule should be that the female cast members should call in sick during menses instead of taking it out on the customers, as my poor daughter has to hear when we got home.

EVERY other cast member was wonderful, it was so great to be back, food was good, purchases were awesome, we wish we had gotten more. My last moments there I spent with 2 adorable male cast members. They made my day and told me I should write and tell you the bad as I DID complain to them. Those young men were wonderful and perceptive. They were funny, I thanked them for fixing the bumps in my day there at Disneyland.

Desired outcome: That woman was a failed ex cop. Perhaps she wants that old job back. AND that whistle thief. Thank you.

Disneyland Interactive Disney channel: doraemon

Here in India, Disney and Hungama are our only source of entertainment. But Disney is now broadcasting bad boring shows which I think someone else has already complained. Other than these shows, the dubbing of the new Doraemon series is so bad. The voice of Nobita seems almost like a girl. I hate Doraemon now! Just hate it! The voices have become horrible!
Please bring back Classic Doraemon and/or Crayon Doraemon. Please! And on Disney, NO MICKEY MOUSE? Seriously? Wow. Amazing.

Please see on these issues.

Disneyland Interactive Not able to use hopper pass

Hello. I went to Disneyland yesterday March 11 2020. I panned the trip for a year to celebrate my 40th birthday all I wanted to do...well my husband and I took our 3 kids my 7 year old son first time going, so this was a big deal and now my heart is crushed. The Worst experiences Ever there...We spent almost $800 for Hopper tickets. We were only able to go on 4 rides at California Adventure so by 2pm we gave up and went to Disneyland What a nightmare and waist of money. Disneyland was worse we stood in line to Space mountain over an hour line never moved. So upsetting and all the lines were that way so we left Disneyland without going on a ride! Waist of buying 5 hopper passes! Mostly sad my sons first time and couldn't ride anything! I'm furious I went to Guest relations to complain to at least get the Hopper pass refunded but of course that line was ridiculous as well! I think there should be a cap on capacity! So rude and disrespectful to people. We ended up spending $400 on toys from there to make up for the disappointment or at least try to! I'm asking for a refund or for tickets so I can take my kids back on a day that not every LA college and high schools are out due to the Coronavirus 19 it completely ruined my birthday. Thanks Carly Bennett [protected]@yahoo.com

Disneyland Interactive Rise of the Resistance ride

To Whom It May Concern,
I took my wife and son yesterday to Disneyland to ride the new ride and experience Star Wars land for a few hours. I bought 3 tickets from my P.E. teachers conference at the Hyatt Regency. We arrived early and hurried to the ride in order to secure our spot. Upon arriving we were told they were no longer accepting boarders and we needed to sign up virtually through an App. I knew nothing about this and with no option to wait in line or stand-by as the park calls it we were out of luck and had to ride Space Mountain for the hundredth time. I've been going to Disneyland for most of my 52 years and have never had this experience - I've had to wait hours in line or for my Fast pass time to approach, but never has this happened before. I can't wrap my head around the fact that I could not wait in a long line if I chose to do so especially after spending about $500.00 dollars after food etc. I just think there has to be an option for old guys like me that don't want to download apps and stare at their phones all day in order to get on that ride. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything when I purchased the tickets warning me about this new system. The same thing happened to us for Fantasmic - sold out at 9:00 am. - crazy! Star Wars land was incredible and we got on the other ride there, but I can't help feeling I wasted a lot of money and extremely disappointed we didn't get a chance to ride what I've read is an incredible ride.
Thank you for letting me vent.
Sincerely,
Greg Patterson and family

Disneyland Interactive expensive balloon deflated

Hello,

I purchased this balloon on Halloween, along with, another one. This particular one deflated while at the park. I went to a booth at the entrance at the end of our day and they had to contact a balloon vendor for a replacement. It took awhile, but someone finally got me another one. As we were driving back home to the East Bay it deflated again on our way home in the car. Can I please receive a refund for this. Its a pretty expensive balloon.

Thank you for your time!

Entertainment Disneyland Interactive Customer Service Security software harassing a disabled woman
Disneyland Interactive — Security software harassing a disabled woman

Add a Comment
Firstly let me start out by saying that I was a Disneyland employee from 1992 until 1996.
I remember there's years fondly and I have always loved Disneyland because of it.
I understand that Disneyland has changed over the years, however I would hope that their level of customer service Would be as good as it was when I worked there…
I was horribly disappointed.
The trademark Disneyland courtesy completely disappeared...
Replace with*** hotheads and false allegations and bullying and harassing an absolute disgusting behavior+***

On November 5 @ approximately 10pm. In downtown Disney at the
California Grand exit near Sephora.

I had to wait inside the grand Californian to use the bathroom and to have a Coke at the bar to relax and then I walked around and exited quietly.

I approached security and only had
One purse and one shopping bag from Sephora… I walked through security and they said I was "acting funny".

Why?
I was not slurring my words.
I was not stumbling.
There was no physical evidence of any intoxication…
Personally, the only beverages I had for the last month have been Coca-Cola and water…
I explained this to the security guard as I explained to him my disability. I explained that the effect of alcohol and medication could have fatal implications and I could not possibly drink.

I explained that he thought I was acting funny, it was due to my disability and nothing else.

During my part of the conversation, the security guard ignored me and instead was talking on his earpiece and demanding that more and more security officers descend upon me
I was being harassed because of I'm a disabled woman.

This is after walking around Disneyland for hours and only drinking Coca-Cola and water & taking absolutely nothing that would cause anyone to think I would be intoxicated..
I asked him to give me a breathalyzer...
He refused.

He was calling back up on his radio over nothing and the park was closing and I need to meet a friend to drive me home…

I stated that I wanted to leave. I felt that I was being held unconstitutionally... for no apparent reason other than someone "thought" they the way I was acting was "not normal".

I continued to explain to the officer that I was not intoxicated but bipolar and with spinal surgery issues.

******i explained to them (bc now there were THREE officers!) that I am mentally and physically disabled and take medication legally.***************

BUT It did not matter to these individuals. They did not treat me as a disabled woman, they treated me as a criminal.

I started to walk away and all of a sudden there were FIVE different security guards following me. Three cast members and to actual police officers. The man in charge was named John. I told him that I was mentally and physically disabled and I was upset by this treatment. He did not care.

His only goal was to force me to leave…
But that wasn't enough!

Apparently his second goal we to publicly humiliate me by having me empty ALL of personal belongings in downtown Disney in full view of all the guests and customers…

his third goals to publicly humiliate me and yell at me as I was walking out of the park that I could no longer come back and I was never to return. He did not take me aside and speak to me calmly and a low voice. He walked behind me and taunted me the entire way out of the park... in that moment alone, he put a target on my back and other guest begin to stare at me and look at me and laugh at me and even make fun of me...

- [ ] Without pause and without warning, he forced me to never come back.
