Discount Tire Service

I seem to have problem every time I have follow up service, first I caught them replacing only 3 tire sensors when they were supposed to replace all four this was discovered after they put the WRONG sensors in the tires. We now went in to have tire rotation, they said they couldn't do it because one on the tires had to much inside wear, we rotated the tires all 4 where fine I even took the tire in question to another shop, they laughed and said the person who said it was wear was lying to us, the wear was even and not worn down to wear marks, again I just had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago but had to rotate tires myself, I Am a old car man for over 50 years, I semi pro raced cars and built many cars tires and all, my sons and me have bought many tires at Discount Tire, never again, as a retired businessman in the Kansas City area I will tell all not to trust Discount Tire in Liberty, Missouri

Desired outcome: never to buy another tire there

Discount Tire Credit card not valid

I received my rebate credit card in the mail however I cannot activate it because when I go to type in the expiration date it says "invalid" even though it is the date on the front of the card. This does not make any sense and is a great inconvenience.

Discount Tire Broken lugs on vehicle

My name is Tonica Allen and I'm complaining about unacceptable and inexcusable service at Store 83 in Missouri City TX. Workers failed to report to customer that they broke off a lug and another was stripped. Customer discovered the issue after car began to shake when traveling 60 MPH. I returned to the store to complain and received an apology from the Manager. He said it would be taken of ASAP. I was given paperwork to have the broken stud replaced. I made the mistake of assuming all was well and they had taken care of the situation, until my husband realized I was still without a lug nut. I returned to the store and then was told the other lug was stripped and the tech failed to communicate that to the Manager. This entire situation is unacceptable and the tech was negligent for not reporting missing lugs!

Discount Tire This is the worst group and experience

Talked into buying Bridgestone htl 275/60r20 on 11/6/2020. Reported horrible bounce and vibration 11/10/2020. Found bad balancing. wanted to charge cheaper tire than what I paid for the one the cost more and vibrates. Why is the word could I not got the tire I want in the first place without being ridiculed into something I did not know or want.

Discount Tire Flat tire repair

I went to discount tire for a flat tire saying it had a slow leak to get it repaired since it had been purchased there along with the extended warranty/road hazard. When I arrived there the bays were full. After waiting for an extended period of time with no relief I approached the person at the counter if I could just have my spare put on & leave the affected tire there to be repaired. After another extended wait I asked to use discount tire's jack to take the tire off the trailer & he allowed me to use it. I took my tire off my trailer & left it at discount tire... That was the middle of sept 2020. I came back to pick my tire up & the tire they were trying to give me wasn't a match to the tires/wheels on my trailer so when they offered it to me I told them that it wasn't my tire. It even had someone elses name on the ticket which verified it wasn't my tire. When I told the manager, edgar, he assured me he would get my tire back from whomever it had been given to & he would call me when it was accomplished. He never called me so in a couple of weeks I just went back to pick up my tire but still had to accept the tire they tried to give me in the beginning. I went home that evening & replaced the spare with this tire. The very next day when I was heading out to work that same tire was flat. Even though I hadn't even gone anywhere since I had installed it back on the trailer my first stop was discount tire to drop that same tire off for another repair on that same tire. When I went back to pick my tire up I was told that they had found the wheel was where the leak was. When I spoke to edgar about repairing the wheel he said he thought it wasn't a possibility for the wheel to be welded, sealing the leak. He said he'd take care of me & I left. I was told he would call me again but again he did not so when I showed up he wanted to sell me a new wheel for $61. I told him that I felt that was not what i'd been led to believe when he'd told me that "he'd take care of me" when I was here before. He'd brought out a naked tire without" a wheel trying to give it to me in place of the wheel & tire i'd left with him when I was there before. I was adamant about getting my wheel back so he said he was going to contact the company who taken it away & get it back. When he told me that he was going to call me to confirm that he had gotten my wheel back I reminded him that to date he hadn't called at all ever even though he has said he would on numerous occasions. I returned with a nail in my tire trying to get it removed but upon inspection mr. Saucedo found that that tire had a bubble on it so he replaced it. I was forced to buy a new replacement certificate because I still don't have a spare tire because the manager, edgar has never replaced the wheel that he got rid of. I want my spare to my trailer back!

Discount Tire Flat

Went in and asked how much to fix a tire leak.. They said free. I set an appointment for next day.. Got to my appointment and they took off the tire and told me the tire was un-repirable.. I told them to put it back on and I will leave.. They told me no. They said they can't put the tire back on and showed me a lot of tire rubber in the tire.. I told them I would sign a release, just put it back on..
The tire was fairly new and I told them I needed the corporate office number.. I told them I would let my attorney know..
I told the manager they were scamming to sell tires.. They put some cheap tire on after I mentioned the police.
I had the tire checked and the garbage in the tire was not from that tire.
I will warn everyone about the tire scam!

Discount Tire Broken tie rod

I drove my car into discount tire on 5/4/2020 around 8am with my doughnut tire on because I needed a new tire and rim and once they were finished and I was attempting to drive out of there parking lot my car wouldn't drive forward so I got out of my car and immediately asked a employee what was wrong with my car and why I couldn't drive forward? The employees looked at the bottom of my right front tire by the back of my tire and said I had a snapped tie rod and wouldn't be able to drive my car and would need to have it towed and fixed, but kept telling me he wasn't a mechanic and never touched my tie rod and was claiming my the rod was already snapped when I drove there. I asked him repeatedly how it would be possible for me to had drove there with a snapped the rod driving on my doughnut tire perfectly fine? Kept arguing with me. When I know perfectly well hes lying and ain't physically possible for me to have been able to drive my car to discount tire on a snapped the rod. Something one there employees did in process of changing out my new rim and tire snapped my tie rod and doesnt wanna admit it. I had ran over a tree limb decent size other night which flattened my tire and bent my rim immediately but did not snap my tie rod in half or I wouldn't of been able to have driven my car to discount tire today on a snapped tie rod like they wanna claim was already snapped. I want discount tire to pay entirely for there mistake and snapping my tie rod during my visit today and cost of a towing fee and cost of having to pay for new front end the rods. My car drove perfectly fine to there business on my spare tire and expect it to had drove out of there after the service I had paid them to do.

Discount Tire management

I have been doing business at this location for 20+ year's. There has recently been a management change at this location (Tyler) very poor people skills not to mention noticeable low moral within this location now. Being a business manager for over 30+ years of various companies I witnessed very low moral happening within do to poor people skills from new management.

Discount Tire cooper all terrain tires invoice #1024155

When I took my truck in today for a balance/rotation, I told the rep I was dissatisfied with the way the outside row of tread on front tires was wearing and cupping, (and no it's not out of alignment) and everyone I talked to who owns all terrain tires says that's just what they do. The rep told me that there was still too much tread to adjust them towards a new set of tires, which made no sense, since they will be worth even less after they have more miles on them. I don't know if it's the brand or type of tire, but I am not impressed with either at this point.

I have been a customer of Discount Tire for over 30 years both personally and for my business (Allen Sanders & Quality High-Tech Services, Dallas TX) and continued to use Discount Tire even after I got a quote from NTW for almost $300 less during their Memorial Day "Buy 2, get 2 free sale", because I've always been pleased with your staff's professionalism and performance. Even with this experience, your rep was very courteous and professional - I just didn't like his recommendation of bringing it back and 10k miles and see what can be done then. Frankly I expected more from Discount Tire. I'd be happy to step up to a better brand, but I'm not going to just throw these tires away or wait until half the life expectancy is used up. Please give me a better solution than I've been offered.

Discount Tire bad tires

I purchase a set of tires August 2019. I immediately notice how bad my car was driving after the install but figured that it would even itself out after I put a few miles on it and plus I was pressed for time. I have had to revisit discount at least three times in the past two months each time they refuse to drive it and see that it drives bumpy and just say that the the tires are cheap so its going to drive crappy. Why is a reputable company selling cheap tires that will make someone's car feel like airplane turbulence? Babies and Elders can not even ride in my car because it is too painful for them. They expect me to buy new tires when these are only 3 months old. Never buying from discount again

Discount Tire order was never processed because I refused the certificate

I ordered 4 tires yesterday order number [protected] and today I recieved a message saying I had to call because they were unable to process my order. I called was able to sort it all out until the end when the person I was talking to kept pressuring me into buying a certificate for the tires. I told him no multiple times and that I only wanted the tires and after a while he finally said ok and changed up. My order was never processed after that simply because I refused the certificate.

Discount Tire new tires / tpms broke sensor now inside new tire

On Nov 8th, I got 4 new tires from... TPMS appeared on dashboard... stopped at Discount Tire Center Huntington Beach location but they didn't resolve it either.

I spoke again to Manager Mario at Discount Tire Center Moreno Valley about the TPMS in dashboard and he said that he could run a diagnostic to ascertain the problem but he would have to charge me for it.

Then at Pep Boys in Newport Beach off Newport Ave, I had Gilbert check the source of the TPMS on dashboard. Gilbert said, "When the tire guys [Discount Tire Center Moreno Valley] put on the new tires, they broke the sensor in the left front new tire; you can hear the sensor rattling around inside the new front left tire. The other 3 tires' sensors are just fine and have good battery strength."

I need Discount Tire Center to remove the sensor from inside the left front tire they put on and put a new sensor on to resolve.

Discount Tire winter tires

Came into the store, asked to purchase two winter tires for the rear. The cashier/ salesman wanted me to buy four tires and would not let me buy only two. He explained the safety of having four tires, and even pointed out to an Asian employee to come explain it to me, since I am Asian (I speak English well and lived here all my life). I understand the safety concerns, but just needed two tires. He would only sell me four all seasonal/ snow tires or no tires at all. Causing a scene in the store. I just left. He was very unprofressional and a disrespectful employee.

Discount Tire optimo tires

I purchased hankook tires from our lebanon tn store. They are nice tires but they do not meet the gvwr that I need. They are p rated, and I need a lt tire. They have 2112 miles on them currently. I have had zero success at getting a good solid answer on what can be done to swap them back for the heavier load range tires I need.

Discount Tire oil change and filter

Yesterday, my wife call the store in 836 W 6th, Corona, Ca 92882 and checked the cost for out Toyota Sienna synthetic oil change. I believe the mechanic there has enough knowledge to know about this popular Van and provided estimate of $54. This morning, my wife bought the van to the store and a mechanic got the key and checked the mileage, and again, for sure the mechanic knows exactly what the size of the Van and estimate $60 for the oil change. However, when the service was done, the store charged for $84 with a reason of needing more oil for the Van. This is totally a dishhonest transition to charge more to a woman customer.
not only that, the mechanic also tried to make a sale on site to my wife for replacing filter for $30, then ended up charged $60 2 engine and air filters (I have no idea what's the engine filter.
I don't understand why Discount Tire allows mechanics to scam woman knows nothing about car for money. The truth is they can make $50 or more one time, but they will lose the customer for life. if they don't straight this thing out, we who own 3 cars never have our car for their service again in the future and think about how much money they will make from service of our cars

Discount Tire tire rotation

I brought my car in to have tires rotated. Your mechanic broke 1 of the 4 wheel screws. He blamed my locking lug nuts. Even though there's was no rust or decay on the wheel screws

I believe the problem stems from over torquing the air wrench. He was working with a kid. Maybe in training.

Please contact me about getting this screw replaced on my wheel.

Discount Tire service

I ordered tires and put a down payment on them. I asked if I needed to make an appointment, the salesperson said no and that they would call me when they came in. The next day they called around 10am. I went after work and got there around 2:20pm, stood in line for about 10 minutes. There were only a few customers inside, but it eventually filled to over 7 after I had spoken to someone about putting on my tires. I asked what the wait time was. The salesperson said he didn't know. So, I told him I had to be at Valley by 4:30 and did he think that was possible. He said yes. At 4:00pm my car had never been moved and I knew they couldn't do it in time for me to be on the other side of town by 4:30. I had to ask for my keys back to get to the other side of town. I am so angry that I even put a down payment on tires. I work during the day and I don't have a way to drop off and pick up my car, so I must stay with it. 2 and 3 hours of wait time is a lot. Now I must go back and wait another 2-4 hours. To make an appointment is a 5-7 days. Just looked at one for Oct. 29. I'm betting it will still take just as long wait time. This is as bad as going to the Social Security Office---you got to pack some snacks and take a but cushion and be prepared to get nothing else done during those hours waiting. Very unhappy about this. I do believe these guys work hard to meet the demands of it's customers but they should tell the truth. They had to know that it would take longer than a couple of hours. Had I known about the wait time I would have planned differently.

Discount Tire rude service

Drove up for an air check an assistant manager a short one think his name was oz or something like that was very rude and looked like he didn't enjoy working there. Why do you hire people who don't love their job his face was angry looking. He needs to just allow his coworkers the people "under " him to do his job looked like he was upset because it wasn't a sale

Discount Tire tires to be mounted

I have had tires mounted many times over the past year on several vehicles. My daughter bought tires on line then went to this store to have them mounted she was told well since you did not buy the tires from us we do not give bargain prices to people like you. If you want them mounted it will cost you 200 dollars
That is 0 respect to customers this place should be boycotted
