Dillard's shoe manager at fayetteville, ar

I purchased a pair of shoes today around 430 and noticed around 8:50 pm that evening that I had been given the wrong shoes (wrong size, wrong brand). I had paid for and have the receipt for the correct shoes that I had wanted. I called up to the store and spoke with the associate and he had already heard that there had been a mix up with the shoes. He offered for me to come up to the store and get my shoes but wanted to verify with his manager first. The manager apparently told him no and that they were closed and that I would have to deal with it in the morning. I explained that I was leaving on a flight at 6am the following morning and do not even live within 4 hrs of Fayetteville Dillard's. He explained that there is nothing that he can do. I asked to speak to the manager and after being on hold for approximately 5 minutes, the associate returned to state that the manager would not speak to me. I understand that the associate that sold me the shoes made a mistake and I am ok with that. I am not ok with the fact that there is a store manager that refuses to speak to a customer, especially when her store caused the problem. I've spent thousands of dollars at Dillard's but I will never ever shop at this particular store again.

Dillard's unethical behavior resulting in a miscarriage

My instore experience was horrible I use to work for Dillards in Biloxi, Mississippi until I
was fired due to my sph. A little info about what happened was a I was
almost five months pregnant and was in a car accident I tried calling in
to work that day but was told I had to come in. I went into work and
experienced a little pain that kinda went away when I was sitting.The
next day I went into work and during the drive started experiencing
horrible pain.I went to the restroom once arriving at work to find out I
was bleeding I asked if I could leave because I needed to get to the
hospital quick I was told no because I was the only one covering the
intire back section of mens.I sat in a chair most of the night until i
felt the need to go the the restroom.I had a miscarriage in Dillards
bathroom that is a sight I will never forget and is something that
haunts me on a daily basis because of that I was u able to keep up with
my sales goal constantly bleeding missing work because I cant get off of
bed due to the pain. Ive tried to get over it but I cant and I refuse to
lay down and accept what happened. Ive been trying to talk to somebody in corporate for so long and have been getting ignored but I'm going to the local news and seeking a lawyer i have nightmares because of it i lost my fiancé as well

Dillard's rude customer service.

To whom it may concern!

I am sad writing this and loved this store a while back and from a while don't see a management at all here.

The store is beautiful but poor customer experience from Zee who worked at second floor who rang me up but didn't even greet me but in fact she was talking about inappropriate stuff with somebody and didn't notice she was ringing me up. This happened not long ago and this store used to have so many good employees and this associate was proud and rude. I just get the customer service which is pillar of every store and she should be trained way better than just to get my business once and forever. I wish somebody speak to her and make sure she understands that

Dillard's unethical behaviour

While shopping at your store in Ft. Myers, I bought 2 shirts. Then as I was going to the restroom I noticed another one that I had not seen before. I continued to the restroom and when I came out I found the shirt. I was looking around for a dressing room and I saw one at the back of the store. I was alone and no one was around...no shoppers or sales people so I took my bag into the fitting room with me. As I left the fitting room a sharp "Did it work for you?" startled me. I answered that it did and at the register gave her the shirt that I had put back on the hanger, so she could ring it up. She really was not very nice to me, I guess I disappointed her that I was not trying to steal it. After she rung me up, she took off so fast to another area I could not believe it. I understand that as a business you have to be on the alert for shoplifters but there must be a more diplomatic way to address this.

Dillard's security personal

How this person by the name of Ruben Andrew Silva be a professional security working for this company and taking pictures of customers. I know is not a good thing this customer is doing but don't use your personal social media to do this kind of stuff. How can Dillard's have employees like this guy. Not professional hope you take action of this situation.

Dillard's dillard’s

I was looking at my phone when my shoes came off. Me and my friends were just goofing around and they took my shoes. I was shuffling to get them and a woman that worked there said " absolutely no running running not no way no and your feet are probably super disgusting and you shouldn't run across the floor barefoot that is so gross like no" I tried to explain that I couldn't find my shoes but she didn't want to hear it. I apologized and she just rolled her eyes and scoffed. I am very angry and will not be shopping there for a long time. I absolutely would not recommend this store. It has very poor customer service and they are very moody. Never talking just ringing you up and saying bye. Truly disappointed.

Dillard's management

So let me tell you my story of the dillard's in the santa rosa mall in fort walton beach florida. I was shopping at the mall with my girlfriend and we decided to go into dillard since I have not found anything that I liked yet. My girlfriend found a shirt that she really liked so we continued to walk around and look for some more outfits. As we walk around the store her uncle calls and asks if we could give him a ride home from work but the call drops. So we call him again and we start walking back into the mall and next thing you know a mall cop stops us and points at the shirt in my girlfriends hand. We told him it was a misunderstanding and that we completely forgot it was in our hands. So he brings us back into his office with the manager and we try explaining what happened. And this female manager (was unable to get her name) starts filling out paperwork and I told her was happened and she explained they had been watching us (there was not really anybody in the store except employees). So I offered to buy the shirt for the misunderstanding and she tells us we can talk to the sheriff. Finally the sherif comes in and the mall cop and manager start telling the cop multiple stories and he had to reiterate to them if we had walked out of the store. They did confirm we did (and we did by just literally getting to the sensors which surprisingly never went off) and the sherif asked if she was going to press charges. And then she said yes! I was losing my damn mind! Me or my girlfriend would never steal anything. We have too much to jeopardize to get in trouble for stealing, we work for our money we don't just steal things! So we tried explaining to her again that if we wanted to steal that shirt we couldve easily thrown it in our jcpenny bag or even ripped of the tag.in the police report it states we walked around with the shirt in her hand and picked up a phone and started walking towards the entrance back into the mall. So now my girlfriend has been in jail for 3 days over a petit theft charge that she never intended of committing and we don't even know when she's getting out. Now i've paid $130 just to talk to her on the phone. Like this is someone's life you are messing with. My girlfriends grandma called dillard's and spoke to another manager and he stated that she would have never been arrested if he was the one who was there. Humans make mistakes. This act was never on purpose. The other manager stated that the judge more than likely will drop the charge, but that does not excuse the fact that she may lose her job over this. Her face will be on the newspaper like this is just the worst experience i've ever went thru in my life. Especially for my girlfriend, she's the one stuck in an overcrowded jail with spring breakers. This is just completely unfair and inconsiderate of another persons life when it clearly looked like we were just browsing. Not intending to steal anything.

Dillard's racial profiling

On 4-5-2018 my daughter and I went to go shopping in the lafayette store.
We walked in the kids section to get some items for my grand kids. Haley who works in that department. Was talking about another customer to another customer stating that black people and mexicans only come in the store to steal and scam.. Im very shocked that this lady feels so comfortable talking like this with out fearing a manager will hear. Bold disrespectful tasteless. I will let everyone thats in my church group be aware of her when shopping with kids friends family. People that are not white.. This is not right... I am so upset right now still as I hear her voice and those words..

Dillard's rude service

I was waiting for a makeover when I arrived first at the edge place in Dillard's. I walked up to a lady who was putting on her makeup and said she would be with me in a moment. 15 minutes later after helping what I'm guessing was one of her friends she finally came and did my makeup. I wasn't exactly happy with what she had done and she told me she "would never do my makeup again" and that she "didn't have time for this crap" and went to do one of her friends faces. Dillard's credit card replacement

Had issues with swiping my card in the store and sales associate advised to call and get a replacement call. It has been nothing but a nightmare. They locked my account after answering all of the security questions accurately because the doubted my identity based on my voice! I sent in all requested information and yet I was still denied assistance and service saying the information I sent in was unacceptable! I sent in a copy of my bank statement, ID, credit card, utility bill, tax form for my mortgage and they still called me a liar! Saying they still don't believe me and I now have to go into a bank to prove them wrong. I will be closing my account immediately!

Dillard's holding merchandise for employees

I am a very frequent shopper at Dillards at the McAllen Plaza Mall. I especially go when they have the sales . Have noticed that associates put holds and even upper management hold merchandise for them. Very unprofessional of them. Have noticed Dillards is hiring a lot of young unprofessional people that do not give any type of customer service. Upper management should stop siding with employees

Dillard's women section

I went in today to exchange one Jones collection pants that I bought on Saturday with other purchases that I made and they refused to exchange it because I did not have my receipt. I still have the tags although I took off when I was trying to wear it to work but it did not fit. It was not long enough and she said there were some thing on it. I said that I bought it with other items. It could be from the other materials. She said to me that she is sorry and cannot return it. I asked for a supervisor but she never came. I left the item there and called to complain and called my bank to cancel the transaction. The two ladies that took care of this have no idea what customer service is all about. They need to re/train. They should learn how to give good customer service. they were very rude talking to each other and when I am talking one the girl works out. I love to shop st Dillard's but my experience today will make me think twice. Even if I do not have the receipt, at least put the tags together and see what you can do. Instead the two of them are there rolling their eyes. The manger should have said good morning when she worked in and say how can I help you. Instead she clerk said to her she return this with a receipt and went on and said why I have stated earlier. She should not me managing any department because she does not have the skills. Dillard's bad business

Placed large order on 1/1/2018. FedEx returned order back to Dillards stating DAMAGE. Dillards received the DAMAGED order on 1/19/2018. However, I received an EMAIL on 1/19/2018 stating that order was DELIVERED TO ME AT MY ADDRESS. Today is 21 Jan 2018, and I still have NOT seen the order NOR do I know if I will. This has been a complete nightmare because every time I call the 800#, I receive conflicting information about my DAMAGED order. The employees are definitely not CONSISTENT with the information they are giving to me! Does not make the situation better!

Dillard's attempted theft of ca. $230 from me on celebratory new year day's sale

During dillard's new year days sale, I spent in my briargate dillards over 500. I have been a patron of dillard's for decades. However, the employees lust for stealing money from a customer - me - may make me stop at home in the future. First a sales clerk, depicted in the picture attached, whom caught red-handed in a photo (Which you do not allow to attach here!) changing the sale from 40 percent off plus extra 40 percent off. I can e-mail you the picture to enjoy: he removed 40 percent off in front of my eyes! An attempted theft of ca. $130! Then the shoes young slight short clerk demanded 214 dollars payment for 3 clearance pairs! When I said no! He changed it to 114.36 dollars. Thus, he attempted to overcharge me by $100! Sillard's saved on competency and honesty of its clerks — dillard's lost a great customer.

Dillard's racial profiling

Was in Dillard's bought 2 hats, bra and panties. Was followed around store but when I asked for help was told they didn't work in that department. Next day went back to return the panties and was told I didn't purchase them. I gave her my receipt in same bag. She said they are not there. It was there after she looked. Said it just appeared out of nowhere

Dillard's Stay away

Order from this website at your own risk. There's no guarantee that your items are good quality and wearable.
The whole return process is a trash. The item I received was defective. I called them and asked what they could offer. They said I should return the item and pay for the shipping cost that will be reimbursed after they receive everything. Nice. I paid for their mistake. The money hasn't been refunded yet.
Very frustrated I had to deal with them. It was a nightmare to me.

Dillard's employee in mens shoes

I went to Dillards in Cedar Hill, Texas today, 12-23-17 to shop and had the worst experience ever. My husband and I went to the mens shoe department and looked at Polo boots. The salesman named Noel greeted us. We decided not to get the boots. After walking around the store before leaving we decided to go back and purchase the boots. We were greeted by a saleswoman named Latisha. While at the counter Noel was speaking with another customer. After his customer left, he turned to me and asked me how did I end up with her, referencing Latisha. I asked him what he meant? He said well we work on commission and she does this all the time. I informed Noel that she greeted me and answered my questions in regards to my purchase and completed the sale. He started going on and on about the commission and how she always does that. I informed Noel that I dont know either of them and that its very unprofessional for him to make those statements about his co-worker to me. He then stated well Ms. can I just ask you if it is a cultural thing? Referencing because I am black and Latisha is black and that is why I completed the sale with her. I turned to Latisha and informed her that I would like to speak with the manager. At this time my husband is at the counter as well. While I am speaking with Latisha in regards to contacting the manager, Noel interrupts and states with an attitude that he will call the manager. I informed him that I am not speaking to him and to please not to address me again. He then behind to say something to me again. My husband then informed him that I was not speaking to him and not to say anything else to me. At that time Noel remained quite. The manager Dee Scott came and my husband and I informed him of what happened. While we are speaking to him Noel came and stood to the side and begins to rudely interrupt. Mr. Scott instructed him to remain quite and asked him to go to the back until he speaks with him. Noel began to talk back to him and Mr. Scott had to tell him more then twice to go to the back before he finally did. Mr. Scott apologized and states that he would handle it. I informed Mr. Scott that I did not appreciate the unprofessional manner in how I was treated and addressed by the employee. I am most definitely upset and devastated by the racial comment Noel made to me. I am requesting an immediate and complete investigation from your company into this matter. I am also requesting an immediate response by 12-29-17 from your company in receipt of this complaint.

Of course you have the right to your opinion. I don't think anyone deserves to be spoken to our treated rudely no matter what the situation is. Most definitely I did not deserve the racial comment. If you think that way then maybe your the one who should be educated.

Dillard's black friday order cancelled & credit card overcharged

I placed 2 Black Friday sales orders. The first order was cancelled after 5 days. Now I will not receive the order and Black Friday sales are over at the other department stores. The second order had to be shipped from 2 different stores and they charged my credit card extra fees without my permission. I will be contacting my credit card company about the overcharges.

Purchased this shirt on Feb.4, 2023.

I have this same shirt in blue, same size.

The new shirt from Dillard's is clearly cut smaller, especially in the arms, about 1 inch making the arms snug.

Shirt seems like a knock off of a Ralph Lauren shirt, at 79.50 price.

Items bought online during the COVID-19 epidemic are not refundable. Even though the items are all unused, and the packaging are not opened. It is said that it has been more than 30 days. The question is how do I return the items without a return fee if you don't open the door?

Dressing rooms by formal dresses.You go in to drop $300 on a dress but the dressing rooms have carpet that has been urinated on.It smells so gross with the smell, but then you need to take your shoes off and touch it.Can they be updated to a floor like LVT that can be cleaned?I'd expect that of a gas station not a Dillard's in a fancy town center.

I was greated very negative by the sale associate in this department and if I wasnt in desperate needs for the shoes I purchased I would have left but I will not return. Dillard's false advertising & customer service from a manager

I spent 2 hours online shopping your Black Friday sale this morning. The 1st page of your website stated BLACK FRIDAY SALE EXTRA 50% OFF on all sale items!
I chose 11 items from the "home" tab under the Black Friday sale. After 2 hours of shopping I checked out, only to discover I did not receive ANY ADDITIONAL OFF! I called customer service & the representative took my entire order by phone again! It still did not give me the additional 50% off! I spoke to a Mgr & she was SO RUDE! She refused to give me the discount & did not care that I was upset or that your advertising was so misleading! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN DILLARD'S! I cancelled my entire order!

Dillard's about a manager named jamie

This is regarding a manager named Jamie who works in Dillards in Greensboro NC four seasons mall center. I was shopping and saw him shouting at employee who works there.

I shop often there and this new manager Jamie make is racist towards employees and very disrespectful. I really wanted to stop him and ask him why is he so hateful and rude.

This Dillards store has thousands of issues with race and employees here work under pressure and since there is no HR or higher management to support employees or address their concerns.

Every time I go to this store I see new employees and when I ask somebody about that employee he or she says employee don't work no more. I am a retail store manager and I can't even raise my voice with my associates and In this store Managers shout and disrespect employees in front of customers.

I saw same employee in another store in same mall telling me how terrible management they have. I am sure you guys will not do anything since I see hundreds of complaints already about your stores. But let me tell you that Greensboro Dillards needs new management and that manager Jamie absolutely needs to be fired. I am so sorry for all employees who work under such a management who based on race and like take care of employees and if they didn't have same race or interest then they will be rude and disrespectful to them.

Need time I will in purpose go when that manager is there so I can take his photo or video because I feel so upset still for employees who work here under a such a terrible people. They had a very high management couple of years ago and now customers have to see drama happening every time in store this is such a shameful act for whole Dillards as a company. Because you guys can't fix small issues like this and can't change management or send a HR team to talk to these hard working employees to address their concerns. Remember again Jamie is one of their managers who is one reason we as a customer don't want to shop there anymore.
