LinerWorld ripped liner

Date of Incident: July 15, 2016
This companies warranty policy is ridiculous. They will only guarantee the liner and will not guarantee the installation or the water that was used for the liner you purchased. We purchased a liner from them, had it installed, and exactly one week later a seem failed on the liner, flooded the backyard, and washed away the sand from underneath. We spent $1000 on getting the liner installed and paying for water to fill up the pool. Liner world expects us to fork out an additional $1000 to get another liner reinstalled and to refill up the pool. Although their warranty policy does state that they do not cover repair or water cost, they say problems like this occur very few and far between. This company is robbing good hard-working American's blind by selling them bad liners, and then forcing them to repay for services already rendered for faulty materials. My dad, who is a hard working police officer in our community, worked a lot of overtime to be able to afford to get the pool fixed this summer for my family and for my younger siblings to be able to enjoy. My younger brother who is special needs, was especially excited about the pool this summer because he is unable to participate in team sports which is why he looks forward to swimming in pool as his form of recreation. The pool was up and working for literally one week and now its might as well be considered garbage sitting in the backyard. The customer service representatives were not very helpful, understanding, or considerate in the fact a lot of time and money went into getting this pool fixed for the summer. Although I had to go back and forth with them on the phone just so they would refund us our money, we are really looking for some help with getting some further repairs done. One minute the representative was saying they're a small ma-and-pop company and the next she's bragging about how they sell thousands of pool liners every week. It was disgusting to me that this company was not willing to go above and beyond their warranty policy to help some customers out who purchased a product that DIDN'T EVEN LAST A WEEK! I came home from work today to find my mother crying because the most she could get from the customer service representative was "sorry for the inconvenience." My family would request that this company make an exception to their warranty policy and help us out in getting our pool repaired for the second time this summer. We understand that repairs, installation, and the cost of water are not included in linerworld's warranty policy, but I believe our experience with them is an extenuating circumstance and that linerworld should be going above and beyond to satisfy their customers.

This most definitely is not a few and far between incident. I'm on my second liner from them and have had the same issues. My first liner from them did not even last a week. I had to have a second one sent, and the same exact issue is occurring with the second liner. They claim they have a warranty, but a warranty on what? They say if it's put in and it's torn, it's not their fault since the liner needs to be inspected pre-installation. Then they say if hold is found after installation, it's an installation issue and not covered. They wouldn't even replace the second defective liner since I was in the "second season" of the pool liner - a liner I received in November and could not install due to Chicago weather, their "seasons" ending December 31st, until recently. They would only offer a $50 credit for an online purchase. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and ridiculous way to run a company.

We would like to offer a replacement at No charge or for Free, or a return for a full refund would also be acceptable.

LinerWorld above ground coping

I was looking to purchase a new liner for my above ground pool, website said to replace coping every time you changed the liner so I purchased these in addition to my liner, coping was very cheap and flimsy, my old coping was much better, tried to return 21 days later and was told by brittany at the main office that I only had 10 days to return. I explained to brittany that we had just opened them, changing a pool liner is a big job as if they didnt know and most people need to assemble help to replace so 3 weeks was not unreasonable. She refused to make good on their cheap product. Very disappointed! Bad customer service!

I bought a liner and installed at the end of last summer and covered the pool, When I uncovered the pool this spring the liner was ripped around the bead. I never even got to swim in it. I will not buy another liner from linerworld.

Bought liner. Had it professionally installed and two weeks later the seam rips. Resulting in my pool leaking. Terrible customer service! Liner world won't do anything about this!

LinerWorld Pool Linner 25 Guage

My pool liner of 25 gauge let go after only 2 years and the warranty period was supposed to be 15 years. After getting in touch with Digger Pools they were very rude, uncooperative and they told us that we were lucky that we were able to get 2 years out of the liner. This is an outrage that in today's time that a company would stoop this low to not satisfy their customers. We would of been satisfied with a reduction in price on a replacement liner... This pool was professionally installed by an team experts of 20 years. Now we have to endure the cost of not only purchasing a pool liner again, but we have to pay to have it professionally installed again. We hope people out there realize our frustration and take note on our mishap and heed warning on doing business with a company like this.

LinerWorld False advertising

I purchased a Liner from this website back in May. When I received the liner I noticed it was a little thinner than the liner that was already in my pool, so I called the manufacturer's name that was on the box. They told me that it is not a 25 gauge virgin vinyl liner (which is what was indicated on the linerworld website)- in fact it was only 20 gauge and it was RECYCLED VINYL- none of the vinyl works above ground liners are virgin vinyl. This is not what was advertised on linerworld's website. LINERWORLD FALSELY ADVERTISES GAUGE AND QUALITY ON THERE WEBSITE. BUYER BEWARE.

They also have an ebay store too- they go by "Shop The Great Backyard"

I bought a liner from Linerworld and did not read the fine print of 10 days return policy, from the date of purchase. My Bad! So I could not return my, even just for an exchange because I bought it a little smaller than the one I really need. $500 down the drain. DO NOT BUY from them unless you are 100% sure of what you need, and you are ready to put it down the day you got it. Anyone need an oval liner of 21x41. I will sell it for 1/2 price,

Completely agree. Just dealt with this company and not one but two pool liners. Both inferior products to say the least and both fell apart in less than a day. Definitely did not receive 25 guage as stated. Then they wanted to send a third liner. Husband not happy with having to waste so much time installing and un-installing and the wasted water, money and the damage they did to the pool and yard. We finally just asked for our money back and we went to a local home town pool store and bought a nice thick, quality pool liner and installed it! No problems now. I would avoid these liners!

I agree with this complaint--- I have been trying to find info about the warranty for pool covers--- and I cannot- Would think with an 8 year warranty it would last more than 1 FIVE MONTH SEASON.. This company is SO NICE til you need help--- or NOT satisfied
