Diet Max Charged for free trial

I saw the add online. They offered a free trial for the S+h of $1.95. They were supposed to charge me after the free trial if I did not cancel. They Charged my card the same day I receive the product by mail. I cannot get a hold of them to cancel and my bank charged me $25.00 overdrafted fee.I am very upset at this scam that this company is running. I hope the authorities put a stop to it. I even read their fine print, They did not even mention them charging me this early.

Diet Max Scamming Customers

I ordered a trail but was charged $87.74 the day that the trail order was submitted. I called within 8 days of the 10 day trial when I discovered that they had charged my credit card not only for the $3.87 s/h which I agreed to pay but for the 30 day supply as well. I was told I would be issued an email to fulfil the cancellation and thus my refund, however, I never received the email. I gave it several days and when I called back, I was told their system was down and I would need to call back again. I called back the next day and was told because I had not submitted the email which I never received, I was not eligible for the refund of the falsely charged $87.74. I hadn't even received this product for my "trail period" when I noticed the credit card charge and took action to cancel it. Today when I called back, I was told that I could either return the unopened product for a 45% return fee or I could keep the product and receive a $20 credit. Either way they are trying to scam me for at least half the charge. I printed out their Terms & Conditions and nowhere does it claim that there would be a 45% refund charge under their Refunds policy nor under their Billing Errors policy. I will be going to my bank to file a claim to have this charge removed today.

Diet Max is a scam! they charged me before the 10 day trial was up, and it took them 8 days to get me the product in the first place. Not to mention that there is enough caffeine in there to kill a horse...in a form that is absorbed more quickly than your regular cup of joe. I feel like such a sucker. I have seen this add all over, on what I thought were "responsible" websites...like facebook, our weather website, our news website...everywhere. Also when I called [protected] on 9/24 it was either busy or when the recording answered they asked for an authorization code...what? So I researched online and found them here with a different number [protected]..that is when they finally issued me a cancellation number. You must demand one or they will try and have you do the work through the internet. She offered a $20.00 refund, I said why would I accept that when I can get a full refund from my credit card company. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! Print off everything you can about when you signed up. It will help you in the long run. Get the name and the ID of the operator you talk to.

I am such a dork! I know better, now that I am looking for it, of course it is all over the internet about what a scam it is. YIKES!

Diet Max Trial Period Cancellation

I placed an order for a free 10 day trial of Diet Max Burn for a cost of $3.87 on 9-2-10. I received nothing until an email arrived on 9-`7-2010 at 5:42 pm that my order had been placed. I had received nothing from this company prior to this. However on my credit card statement there was a charge for $87.47 for this. When I called the customer service department, I was told my 10 day trial period was over and all they could refund was $20.00. I asked to speak to supervisors 2 times and each time was told my 10 day period started on 9-2-10. Again I haven't received anything but an email on 9-17-10 stating that my trial sample order had been placed. How can a person try something that has not been received and why does my 10 day period start when I have nothing to start it with.
Not only were the customer representatives not helpful, they were not easy to understand. I do not comprehend how someone can be expected to try something they do not have. The ads on-line are very misleading and when I asked for the full refund because I have never received anything, I was given no help. I would not ever purchase anything from this company. If I receive anything from them I will mail immediately back to them. I would not advise anyone to use this company. I also plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and with the attorney general's office as well.
This is truly a scam and is not good business practice.

I tried this company as well and am currently trying to get somewhere with them but am only getting the run around. When I finally get a subscription cancellation form, it wouldn't accept my information. What a scam!

Same thing happened to me. I ordered a free trial and was billed a98$ amount on my credit card. This definetely seems to be a scam. I did receive the product though but I would never have ordered it had I know it wwas not free. I tried calling the 1-800 number listed on my credit card account and it does not answer. I'm wondering whether we pursue this as a class action ... ?

I have asimilar complaint regarding this company. I submitted a request for a free sample and was chargd for shipping, twice on October 23rd and 26th, 2010. Now I have been charged a substantially larger amount of money for something I did not order, and did not receive. I don't know if this is a scam but it sure seems to be.

Diet Max Another DIET pill scam

This is sister company of NaturaCleanse, so essentially same complaint I posted about them:

"Do not order this product. It doesn't work, but more importantly, you don't receive the product soon enough to try the sample before the "fine print" instructs you to cancel.
I cancelled w/in allotted time, and still charged almost $80 for pills that were shipped. I now have to ship back at my own expense in order to receive this credit to my account.
Complete scam! and customer service is difficult to communicate with or get a resolution."

In addition to NaturaCleanse nightmare, I have to wait 5 days while their admitted mistake (shock horror) is under review before my acccount will be credited the $87 that was STOLEN/SCAMMED.

While talking to a customer service rep. I told her that the 4th item to appear on search engine regarding their product was this complaint site, then I read a few choice entries. LOL
Too bad I didn't do my own search before placing these orders. Leason Learned!

I have the same problem. I ordered the trial offer, then called to cancel before the trial period but had aready been billed 87.47 for the product that I did not receive. I called to complain and was told that I did not respond to the email that was sent to me, which I never received. Called the company 4 times and finally talked to a "manage" who still had a hard time understanding me. She told me that I would only be refunded a 20.00 refund because I did not cancel my account in the 10 day trial period which I had done since I called on the 9th day of the trial period. Now I am finding out that my account was never canceld and have been billed for 2 more months and have never received a product. I called today and spoke with "samantha, agent #511" who still did not speak very good english and I tried to explain to her about the first calls I made in Sept and Oct. She kept telling me that she sees where I called to cancel my account, yet I did not cancel within the 10 day trial period by responding to the email. Again I tried to explain to her that i never received an email and I called and talked to a "manager" who was supposed to cancel the account and also send me the $20.00 credit but this has never been done. This company is commiting fraud because they take your money but do not send you a product. The company I am dealing with is Diet Max. The other company cancelled my account the very day I called to cancel and have never been billed nor never received the product.
Advice to others, do not order from Diet Max or NaturaCleanse. These companies are shams and con artists who take your money and don't deliver products. I thought they would be helpful to me to help lose weight but the only thing I've lost is money.

Diet Max Charging for Products I DID NOT order

So today I decide to look up customers reviewes on Natura Cleanse...and I found these complaints! I took me all of 1 minute of reading torealize, so I quickly looked up my info on my bank account. Sure enough I have a charge of $87.47 pending from DIET MAX [protected]. I freaked out and imediately called my bank and they cancelled my card right away...Unfortunately i have to go to the bank tomorrow and fill out an affidavid against this website! However I am so very very happy that I found these reviews in time beacuse I ordered the same product for my boyfriend on another bank card. Fortunately they will not screw me there because I was way ahead of them! To my avail this charge was not posted on that account (whew)
I would have never know this was a scam because a girl from are local news used this product and another together and had great results...I got it from the News stations official website where you to can try the product for a trail and S&H. After I've wrote this I am going to their website to tell them this, I'm sure they have no idea what they are backing!
However, ... I know that cleansing your colon and intestines is great and other shouldn't deter from bettering their body's. I am going to my local homeopatic pharmacy this time.
I really hope I've been able to help others not get scammed
KAT xoxo

I did the exact same thing. with the NaturaCleanse Coloblast. I called and canceled it within the specified time frame (within 10 days, and i cancelled in 8) and then they charged me a few days later (a total of 13 days after the purchase order date!) for the $87.13 and put me in the negative. I called them and complained and requested a refund and the "supervisor" that I spoke to said she put in the request and I would have it in a few days. That was on November 12th. Yeah. It's December 4th now. My bank said that it could take up to 30 days and to wait a day or two longer before filing the paperwork with them. So that's what I get to do tomorrow. File paperwork against a SCAM! I wish I had looked into it more thoroughly before becoming their next sucker. I learned my lesson and I will never do that again! In cash, In person STORES are the way to go! And to top it all off, I can't get through to anyone on the number they had listed anymore. It never rings, only has a busy signal. I've been trying to call for two weeks now. Jerks.

I ordered a free trial of AcaiX3, also known as AcaiDetox Xtreme and Leanbodyburn, on my bank statement Diet Max. Customer service number is [protected]. I just finished talking to a representative for the above company, follow their instructions when filling out your information. No punctuations, commas, periods, all lower case, no spaces. they sent me an email with my order number and information with a link to confirm, and a password all in capital letters, do not type in your password in capital letters, lower case only. I am still waiting for my conformation email stating they have actually canceled my subscription. In the mean time I canceled my credit card just to be on the safe side.
