Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how DermaC handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with DermaC and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

DermaC Withdrawing bank funds without my permission

In May I ordered dermaC after being told on their website that it was a sample and all I would have to pay for packing and postage. Soon after an amount of £89.76. A month later they sent me another derrmaC without me ordering any, soon after I cancelled my account and instructed my bank to not pay the amount. In June they sent me another dermaC through another company. I did not take the dermaC and asked the delivery person to take it back. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards and the police scam reporting if they do not cancel my subscription.

I received Derma C in August. The accompanying dispatch note contained minimal information and I was unable to trace the origin. I later discovered that there was a £3.95 charge against my husband's credit card when he received his monthly statement. He did not place this order.
Today, a further delivery was left at the door step. On checking my husband's credit card, I have discovered that a charge of £69.83 has been charged to his account. While the first charge was clearly stated as Derma C, the second charge was shown as nfldc (work that one out if you can).
I am fully aware of the way that Derma C operates. My husband knows absolutely nothing about this. So how has this company managed to piggy back both my and my husband's details? I find this to be very suspicious.

DermaC Rip-off, total scam

I purchased RevitaEye "free trial" for the shipping fee of $5.95 and Beau Derma facecream for a "free trial" of $4.95 shipping. The products arrived separately a few days later. Very small amounts, but I didn't expect much from a free trial. They're not anything special, they do hydrate the skin, but so does ANY cream on the market. So scam #1 was neither worked the miracles people described on their website. Scam #2 arrived about a week later when I noticed two charges on my bank account: $85.95 for RevitaEye, and $89.95 for Beau Derma. I called both phone numbers and was told I'm enrolled in a monthly membership because I didn't return the trials within 14 days of order (not receipt of product, but date of order). Ironically, at the time of the additional charges it has not been 14 days yet! Also, nowhere in the package nor at time of order was it stated I'm enrolling in a membership, nor did I receive additional product. Customer service was a nightmare, there was no supervisor available to speak with (although I offered to hold the line as long as it takes to track one down), and after 45 minutes of holding I was told by the rep that she's authorized to cancel my membership so no additional fees are charged in future months, and can offer a refund 20% of my money. I was livid! She then said she can refund 50% of my money, and that's the best she can offer. But I have to mail the products back at my expense, and the refund will take 7-10 days of processing after receipt of product. Lesson learned: if something sounds too good to be true, it is. I don't review products, but this one I had to pass on. Save yourself the headache!

DermaC Scam

Do not do business with this company. They offer a FREE trial product only to get your credit card number and start charging hundreds
of dollars every few weeks. I finally had to cancel my credit card. Hopefully, there will be a class action suit due to their fraudulent
misrepresentation.
Note: the other company name attached to these questionable characters is Horizon Labs Ltd. out of Palmdale CA 93550 selling: Skin Cure Anti Aging [protected]

DermaC Rip Off

Dermacal has an email address listed on the website, [protected]@yahoo.com. I am sorry that the product was not effective for you. However, it does work for most people. Even the one so highly advertised on TV does not eork for everyone.

DermaC Auto billing to credit card without approval

This site popped up while I was visiting a separate/different website. I clicked, investigated, and signed up for my 'free' sample. At no point during that session was there a box/window or anything that indicated the 'terms of agreement'. I understood I was paying for shipping and handling of a small, trial sample of the product, NOT that if I did not return the product within 14 days, I would be billed automatically for not only the sample, but for every month thereafter, in the full amount.

When I called to cancel and vehemently complain about this business process, I was offered numerous times to sign up for 10, 15, 50, and eventually 90% off. As well, they refused to credit me any money back because I signed up and 'knew' the terms and conditions - which I did NOT! The lady I complained to went so far as to threaten that if I reported the company, or filled out a complaint, that I would likely lose ALL my money PLUS be billed for another shipment! I eventually compromised with a $40.00 refund, and have reported this to my visa card company's customer service for them to dispute on my behalf.

Interestingly enough, during the same website session where I ordered the above product, I also ordered a trial sample of ResVPure, and have had the exact same experience with them. Again, I will be contacting my visa card company to dispute the charges and have contacted ResVPure, with similar results as above. There is nothing they can do, they will not issue a refund because I 'knew' the terms and conditions when I signed up for the trial. Once again, when this company's window popped up, and I signed up for the trial, there was no information given, no terms and conditions. Those are only available when you access the site directly from the internet, NOT when it pops up as an ad while you are visiting a separate site. VERY interesting don't you think?

Got caught on the same scam...

My wife doesn't recall the website where she signed up for their "free trial." Does anyone have a web address? (I suspect these folks have their free trail offer on dozens, if not hundreds of websites.)

I called our bank (Citibank) and they were well aware of these folks.
Bad news is that the Citibank line is that the website fine print does say these outfits will be shipping products after the free trial and there is a notice of how to cancel before that begins. I am more than a little disappointed in Citibank.

I helped to run an online dating site a few years ago. I can tell you that the banks were extremely quick to hit us with a chargeback (consumer gets their money back). And, if we had too high a chargeback percentage, we lost our ability to accept credit cards. (So, we were very willing to give anyone a refund.)

DermaC deceptive &FREE& trial

There is NO Free trial from this Outsourced customer service company. Read the terms and conditions. I found I could not get away from them without paying an additional $25.00 for the free trial. Once you accept the free trial you are enrolled in an automatic plan at an outrageous price. I tried to stop the order - that was not possible. When I did receive it I was told I would have to pay a 20% stocking fee to return it and it would have to be sent "certified" re another cost. Buyer beware! Also, the customer service folks are in India and most of them were impossible to understand. I finally got someone in Canada who told me if I got the Indian reps again to hang up and keep calling until the phone lines cycled into Canada again. I wrote a letter to the only email address on-line and was totally ignored. Very unhappy with this company.

DermaC Refusal to Refund Fraudulent Charges

My husband and I were the victims of credit card fraud and Dermacia was one of the fraudulent charges on our account. When we tried to cancel and reverse the fraudulent charges, a Dermacia rep told us we would have to return the product. The product arrived and we returned it to sender a few days later. This was in October. In December, Dermacia sent us a bill via a collection agency saying we never paid up. When I called and asked if they received the package, they demanded proof we actually sent it back. Sounds just like a scam, doesn't it? BEWARE. If you send something back, pay for your own postage. It's worth it. DO NOT JUST RETURN TO SENDER. Dermacia says it could take months for them to process the return, and in the meantime, they're probably hoping you'll cave into the collection agency pressure to pay for a product you never actually ordered. I pity the next credit theft victim who has to deal with Dermacia.

Hi I have the same problem, therefore I decided to research and see if I was the only one with this problem. I have received the final notice as well. So what did you end doing? Did you end up paying for it? And are they really going to ruin your credit?

When I returned it to the post office I didnt even think about keeping a record of it. Because this is my first time sending back a product. They are as well asking for proof. Please email me back at ralphieralph@gmail.com and tell me how you solved this problem.
