Denny's - service, insight manager and waitress

I was charged 4.89 for 2 small chicken tenders and 4.99 for a small plate of Mac and cheese for my toddler which is outrageous. No one could explain the menu and the manger says well I don't know what to tell you that's the price. Staff was horrible and the manager was even worse. I will never eat at Denny's again. Tables were nasty and staff acted as if they didn't want to be at work what is this place

Denny's - products and service

we went to this dennys specifically because we wanted to go to the one that look like an old diner we drove from Crowley Texas to Forest Hill Texas just to eat there. When we went in to sit down it was so hot on one side of the building that we were sweating we went to the other side it was cooler but still very hot and uncomfortable. then we ordered our drinks and waited for one other person to show up once they got there we ordered our food. when I ordered my food I asked them to please bring out chips and queso so that way the kids that I had with me would be able to get something to eat now because they were hungry. she went and put in my order and then never came back with the chips and queso I end up having to go up and ask her to get me the chips and queso because they were already putting our food up in the window and the kids were starving. It would took forever to get drink refills and then we finally got our food after an hour and a half of being there. When we got our food we start handing things out to everybody and my sister had requested that on her build your own sampler that she got chicken strips mozzarella sticks and french fries she wanted absolutely no dipping sauces on her plate because she does not eat them or like them to touch her food the lady said that was fine and then when we got our food she gave her a plate with marinara sauce all over her chicken strips and then we found out that the mozzarella sticks had no cheese in them at all on3 build your own samplers. We told her that we didn't have any she said oh well those are on a timer not sure what happened we asked her to please bring three more orders of mozzarella sticks and two more pieces of chicken strips because my sister was not going to eat them. 20 minutes later we received the rest of our food and ask for refills for the kids it took 10 minutes to get 2 cups of soda and then she brought me a sweet tea that I did not ask for. There are flies flying around the food and drinks our heads and all over the tables and lights it was very disgusting. I had asked my sister after they brought us our ticket to please go up to the front and talk to the manager about all the issues that we had because they had just gave us a ticket with full price so because I had to go to the restroom with my son so he could wash his hands while in there I went to go to the restroom and it looked and smelled like someone had crapped all over the place and had crap all in the toilets it was a very disgusting place. When I came back out to find out what they were going to do about our ticket the manager made excuses stating that all her people had called in she only had one cook and one waitress no dishwasher and the whole entire time we were there she sent at the counter eating food and not helping at all. she told us that she was only going to give us 10% off the whole entire meal and never once apologized for any of the issues that we had the waitress apologized to us and said I have only been here for 3 days so I don't know very much. It was a very very bad experience and we will not return to a Denny's again. I do not believe that we should have had to pay full price for our food due to the fact we had so many issues and it took so long to get our food there was three adult women and four children and we ordered samplers and pancakes and chicken strips so none of which should have taken an hour and a half. The manager seemed as if it was no big deal because she was short-handed but for a customer it was the worst experience I have ever had. I will be placing a review on Yelp and all social media to make sure no one makes the same mistake my family and I made today. We have been loyal local customers a the Denny's in Winslow, AZ, for many years. We usually order the Super Slam, but today we had appointments out of town and there for lunch. We ordered a Super Bird, and a Cali Club sandwich. Our serve left for a break, and another server was to wait on us. The food sat under the heat lamps for more than 15 minutes. When we received the food, it was actually the same sandwich, cut in 1/2 and the other cut in 1/4. We know that the holidays are busy times, but this was the worst meal we ever had at the Winslow, AZ Denny's. We still left a good tip. Thanks. Bob Zaccaria/Darlene Kennedy.
