Decofurn Furniture Delivery delayed unnecessarily

I bought furniture here on Saturday and I was called on Monday and I was told the delivery is coming and I stayed at home and cancelled all my appointments and it did not come. Tuesday same thing I had to cancel all my meetings got a call that my order will be delivered, even got the message from the driver to say he will be there around 13:30. If I didn't call him around 3 to ask where he is I wasn't going to know that my delivery is cancelled. He told us the dispatch manager cancelled the delivery without even bothering to contact me and let me know. I called more than 20 times to ask for the dispatch manager at Montague gardens and all the time I am told he is not able to take my call and will return my call in 5 minutes or I am told to wait on the line to be put through to him/her and I would wait and the call just gets cancelled. I have never been disgusted like this, and I didn't just waste my airtime calling, I wasted 2 days of my life and cancelled all my commitments just to be fooled by decofurn

Decofurn Furniture We cannot get through to [protected]. we need to exchange chairs urgently!!~!!!!!!!

It is for Dr Lindenberg. We purchased chairs and desk 9 Sept 2021. We need to exchange the plastic chairs. We send email - no response yet. Is there no other way to get in contact with you. The 087 nr stays engaged. We also could not see when we logged in, where to ask for replacement of the things we ordered. Really - please call Marie urgently on [protected]. We are a medical practice. We need chairs. Very urgent.

Decofurn Furniture Bedside table & furniture

If I could give no starts I would.

Do not waste your hard earned money, its absolute rubbish made to look like it is a decent quality which it is not. Please note the "furniture" I bought 2 bedside tables and a large dresser which I thought was white washed oak wood.

My cat bumped the last bit of water I had next to my bed over and upon cleaning the water I realized the mark was not going away, to my horror I realized the "top" which I thought was wood was lifting like paper...

I went to investigate only to realize the product is PU Laminated... WTF is PU Lamination: PU / Foil Lamination. A paper applied to particle board or MDF surfaces to give it a wood-like colour finish.

I bought the items in April and now it is trash and it shows!

Don't waste your time and money if the tables or side tables are made this way imagine how many more corners were cut with the rest of the rubbish they sell.

Saturday 19-06-2021 I requested 2 ORB velvet armchairs and I was offered a discount on the day, I told the lady which was assisting me (Chiara)I'd be back on Tuesday 22nd of June for Purchase as I am leaving for KZN.I drove all the from Glenvista for my purchase and now I'm being told the prices went up, she never notified me.Chiara the lady that was assisting is now denying that I told her I'll be back on this day.I am so disgusted on how she did me

Decofurn Furniture Leather bonded couches

Good day

I trust that you are well

3 years ago I purchased a lounge suite from Decofurn in durban.

Last year I noticed that the lounge set was peeling badly and made contact with the store as it appeared to be a factory defect.

One of the staff swopped out 2 of the headrests for me but a short while afterwards these headrests started peeling as well.

I have since made contact with the durban branch manager who ofers me no assistance and claims that it was due to lack of care.

After their some research i found numerous similar complaints on their facebook page, these couches are still being manufactured and sold at decofurn with no recourse from decofurn when these expensive cpunches start peeling at an alarming rate.

I would really appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Decofurn Furniture Arctic tv plasma unit rustic java

I purchased the above tv stand on 18 January 2021. Delivery took place on 5 Feb and the delivery guys opened it at 6:30pm. They also broke my tile in my home. Sunday morning, 7 Feb while cleaning I noticed that the back of the tv stand the wood is coming apart. I immediately contacted decofurn and sent pictures and an email. I'm now told that it's my fault and not the fault of decofurn. My question is that would a solid wood tv stand start to chip in a day and a half in my home? This is a clear factory fault yet I'm being blamed. Decofurn took the drivers part without calling me to actually find out exactly what took place.

Decofurn Furniture Reclining 6 seater

I bought a 6 seater 2yrs ago and already the middle section is broken and stitching is coming out and its peeling off the plather.

I hardly have people over but I am not happy with the quality of your product... What is the envisaged estimated life span?

My insurance refused me to claim as they indicated wear and tear... But i'm shocked that a product less than 3yrs can be in this state already

Decofurn Furniture Leather couch

Good day kindly find attached pictures that I have taken of the lounge suite I purchased over a month ago. I have had this furniture for about 3 weeks now and it has already lost its firmness. The furniture has the appearance of old furniture, yet it is a brand new leather lounge suite. Kindly assist in this regard.

Decofurn Furniture Lounge suite

On thursday 29102020 I bought a lounge suite at the monteque branch next to makro to the value of 20000.00
On 30/10/2020 they delivered it to my house at 20h00
I opened the package and assembled the couch and saw that the recliner is very small. I am 1.97m tall. I did not open it in the display area because there was glass tables between the couches. I phoned the store the next morning and the lady said I must speak to the manager. I holded forever and asked her if the manager can phone me. She never did and when I phoned back an hour later it was told to me that the manager would not speak to me and that I must send a email. Never providing a email adress. Is this the way customers is suppose to be treated

Decofurn Furniture Horrible Service

i reserved a couch by paying half of the payment on the 15th of Feb 2020 of which i asked the sales agent an the cashier if reserving it means it wont be sold and they both agreed as i knew i was coming back on the 23rd of Feb 2020 to pay for it.

I got to the store and was advised that it was sold and the sales agent Thabo tried to say that its my fault because they hardly reserve stock, the cashier advised that on the system it shows as reserved by the warehouse workers released it. Since its their fault it should have been reserved i asked for a refund process the cashier said about 13 days thats is including the process time.One of the managers on duty was Jabu whom was laughing when i was explaining this to the second cashier as the one who initially was helping just left as well as Thabo . The second manager on duty Sandra ( not sure about the name ) told the cashier that she was busy to deal with such, i heard her saying that.

The store has promised to call back and look for another store that may have in stock however no one has called me yet.

No joy from Decofurn
I ordered 3 paintings and a ceiling light from Decofurn online, which was delivered on the 31 October. Upon opening the paintings I saw that 2 of them looked nothing like the pictures on the website. It looked very basic, where for instance a full petal flower had 3 thick chiseled strokes. The other one looked very basic, not defined and not pretty at all as on the website with dried streaks of running paint. The 3rd painting and the ceiling light Imust add are very nice, I am happy with them. I emailed on the same night informing Returns of my dissatisfaction and requested the 2 paintings to be returned and exchanged. After a few days I was told I had to pay for collection and handling charges which I disputed as I said it wasn't my fault and that these are defective. On their website their return policy states they will pick up the costs of collection and handling fees if products are defective. After more emails and complaining via live chat on their website it was agreed that they will collect the 2 paintings, refund me after deducting handling charges for the 1 without paint streaks which they said is not defective. I had sent them pictures and one can clearly see there is a vast difference in the quality and workmanship, these paintings are clearly inferior. I reluctantly agreed to what was proposed and was told I would be contacted to arrange for collection. I am still waiting and have emailed again with no response. Please assist me.

Decofurn Furniture Long waiting period for a damaged bed

I needed a bed-a good one! A relative recommended Decofurn Factory Shop. On arrival I received really great service from 2 sales gentleman, and made my purchase of a mattress and 2 other items upfront which included delivery fee and assembly fee. I was informed that the bed was out of stock and would take at least 8 to 10 days to arrive. 2 weeks after no feedback we called to follow up and the manager claimed that they had the items but could not deliver due to a system issue. Eventually, after calls back and forward by the 3rd week of waiting the bed arrives and on removing the packaging we find the bed has a long, hideous damage exposing the sponge stuffing. Guess what's the best part? ANOTHER week for Decofurn to process a refund. Words cannot explain the frustration on lack of interest this company shows in service delivery. Could they have not done a pro forma invoice to dispatch my purchased items sooner? Do they not do QC before packaging a mattress? Could they have not compromised for the long waiting period? Absolutely, no. Sadly, employees with their excellent selling skills lose out on commission due to incompetence from the warehouse. By the time I get my money back it would be an entire month of Decofurn having played Micky Mouse games and me- the customer -still without a bed. I would rather go to House and Home and happier to pay that little extra to a company who's ready to deliver quality to my door with a little more sense of urgency.

We followed the procedures of claiming a refund, we filled in a refund form which was submitted to the head office of Decofurn. We received a call later the same day from the Manager of Decofurn Edenvale. He informed us that the damaged bed delivered was infact used for training purposes and was not a default. He also informed us that the Boksburg branch responsible for allowing the damaged bed to be packaged was being dealt with and he apologized sincerely and requested if we could accept the delivery again as he had just received a truck full of new stock. He also gave us a complimentary duvet for the horrible experience. Delivery was done in the same hour. It was a breath of fresh air to be a valued customer. It would be nice if more companies took responsibility and showed interest in resolving their mistakes.

Decofurn - Longmeadow Johannesburg

I reserved a couch as instructed by the Sales agent and the cashier by paying half, as i had reached my daily limit and asked if i come back next weekend to pay the outstanding fee and get it delivered. When i got to the cashier they advised that the couch is reserved on their system however they dont know what happened and they dont have it in stock. The sales agent that assisted tried to make it my fault and ask why didn't i come in the week maybe it would have still been there and the cashier and the sales agent kept blaming each other for about 20 min without a solution . Another cashier called Beauty tried to assist and the manager on duty Jabu (kept laughing and i asked her who is the manager here and pointed to the laughing guy and Sandra ( not sure on her name ) the second manager said to beauty she is too busy to intervene and i could even hear her.

They promised to call and i haven't received a call yet ! To get the refund will be 2-3 days to process and 10 days for the payment, so about 13 days even though its their fault.
