Please see attached email to Esta America.org:
Dear Esta America,
the purpose of your company is tricking people by using an 'apparently official homepage-name' and if people dont research the internet they end up paying more than 5 times the appropriate amount. I was under time pressure and found out too late. But I will forward your email to the 'official' government and let them know that tourist who have obviously no knowledge of the US-procedures or fees were wilfully
misled. I seriously hope your homepage will be forbidden to prevent that more people were trapped.
Sincerely
Deborah Hurst

Hi All,
Could somebody please give me their phone number?
It is quite urgent. We have fallen in the same trap...:(
Thanks.
Hi guys
We have now fallen for this scam
As well. We are traveling to the U.S. In a few days and wondering what to do. Do you have s number for them by any chance?
Yep. I was fooled by ESTA -America back in 2011. I realized 10 minutes after paying the fee that I'd come to a private site and not the US Government one. They do all they can to look official. I immediately called up and demanded a refund. The person who answered my call became quite angry when I accused her of working for scammers, but I get the feeling her defensiveness was tinged with a lot of guilt.
I eventually did receive my refund.
Deborah,
I fell for this trick as well! I am American but live in Ireland. My wife is Irish so we needed to do the online ESTA before travelling to the USA last year. I did a search for ESTA application and this site popped up the first in the list (using Google who might be partially to blame). Anyway, I filled out the application and paid the money before I realised the mistake I made. I bascially hounded them for days and days and eventually they promised me a refund which they did give me after 30 days. It was hard work though. I actually cannot believe that this company is allowed to exist as they are clearly the definition of rip off artists. I feel bad fore everyone who has fallen for this scam. Just wanted to share my experience of this with you.
