After reading various reviews about DealDash, I have mixed feelings about the platform. Some customers have expressed satisfaction with the service, mentioning great deals and exceptional customer support. On the other hand, there are concerns about inflated values in advertising, addictive nature, and challenges in winning auctions. It seems like DealDash offers a range of products, but there are discrepancies in the auction experiences of users. Penny auctions have come and gone people say. "They can't be trusted" & "they're all scams" is another one.
I'm here to tell you, there ARE (a few) trustworthy sites, and DealDash is one of them!
I've been a member since October, 2016, I've won over 21 high quality products (with free shipping!) and the one or two times I've had to contact customer service, I was amazed at how professional & courteous they were.
I've never felt anyone was trying to scam me out of money, quite the contrary, they GIVE you bids everyday, just for logging in! (Up to 15 bids). (They can't go broke after all).
And that's probably the main reason I keep coming back, I love collecting those free bids! (;
So I urge you not to listen to the haters, and give DealDash a try! It really is fun & entertaining, and there's NOTHING like that rush when you win an auction! It's something everyone should experience...

In February of 2012 I joined DealDash. It was my very first penny auction site to try. I didn't have good luck in the beginning because I found it confusing. I then saw a Quibids commercial and thought I'd try their penny auction site. Quibids was easier to understand for me, and I stayed with them through 7 years. 5 months ago, I got frustrated with Quibids due to their lack of customer support help. I went back to DealDash and was determined to figure it out. What a blessing to have had a fantastic customer support live chat (online) with Chase. He was patient, kind, and very understanding about my confusion of the "Leaderboard". He spent long conversations with me in making sure I understood how the changes had taken place during my bidding which caused my clock to change the rewards bids. 2 thumbs way up high for Chase! Best customer support from any auction site I have ever used. I no longer am bidding on Q. I gave up on that company 5 months ago and thankful to have finally come to understand DealDash. Just recently I won an Imac Laptop for $14.20! This was a winner pays 1/2 price auction event. Good luck to you as well.

When I read that someone is complaining that DealDash is not an honest bidding auction, I shake my head in disagreement. When someone new complains that they never win and this site must be fixed, I've seen the support team return their money on the bid packs they bought on the spot. I'm here to tell everyone that DealDash is the most honest and best bidding site, by far, that I have ever used. The line of communication between the bidder and the support team is outstanding and second to none. The company and customer support get 5 stars from me.

So far I've had nothing but a good experience with this service. At first I thought this place was a little bit on the greedy side because you are only bidding to win the deal and then you pay for that deal separate from what you had bid. But then I made a mistake and had my daughter basically drain my funds because I had saved my credit card number on my account and she had boutg bid package with the rest of my available funds. I thought well great this is gonna be a big fat "no way" when I request this refund. So I contact customer service and request a refund with a quick summery of what happened. I notice my bid count changed from 700 to 400. So I think great they are only going to refund part of the money. And this all happened within 3 mibuted so I check my email and there is a message saying they have refunded my payment in full and had giving me 400 free bids for my inconvenience. When in my eyes I was the one being inconvenient not them. That shows a lot about this company. They value there customers and I apretiate that they are a prime example of how a business should treat their customers. Its sadly a dyeing breed nowadays most customer service people will tell you to piss off and call you a thief or a scam artist when you ask for refund. Thank you for the respect deal dash!

A penny auction that is fair and honest. There are no gimmicks. Everything is real and has rules regulations to make playing fair for ALL individuals playing. Best thing is that you win real quality products. Since April 2018 ( Now October 2018) I have won 171 auctions. My first win was a 48" flat screen TV and when installing it at our new apartment the cable guy was so impressed with the quality he said he'd check out Deal Dash. And free FedEx shipping! What more could you ask for?! There customer service is next to none. They work with you above and beyond the call of duty anytime and anywhere you maybe want to have answer to questions, dispute or just to say "Hi!" They have become a second family to ours and when you have a company with such empathy and compassion as does the whole team at Deal Dash it makes the world a little bit of a better place. Grant it there are companies that are big and offer lots of things. But Deal Dash is what it is and can match the big boys over quality and service and customer service just the same, or NO or rather better than any I have come in contact with for many many years. They have what other companies need; compassion, patience, listening to their customers, and knowing that they aim to please their customers they service consistently every day and night 24/7! That's why people keep coming back. That's why I'm proud to say that I'm a Deal Dasher!

Cheaters use devices to know when you have run out of bids... be it in house or others bidding. Most high ticket items are falsely advertised and you may never receive them at all. You may spend $400 in bids just to pay $80 for a 50 inch flat screen TV just to use as an example (commercials).

As, the other bidders bidding along with you so that the TV is paid for several times over (in the thousands) just to receive a lower quality if you receive the TV at all! It is being shipped from overseas anyway so it also may take a month or longer to receive. But You WILL receive $30 in food gift cards quickly. Forget about winning great deals after you get them.

You will not understand why someone will pay $140 for a $30 gift card. The old time bidders know how to beat the system using bid packs. So they are not paying that much for it at all! You will notice "others" bots whatever... stop bidding when you stop then 1 person wins... interesting isn't it?

New bidders pay 100's of times over in bids. Because they don't know it is a scam yet! The owner(s) of this company are genius and I highly doubt they are American as the quality of products and product selection stinks. Like over processed "from China" cheap goods. I am sure they are billionaires. The auctions never end they go on for hours so they get as much money as possible unlike Tophatter a few min tops and not more than $20 typically a lot less. People lose 100s on DEALDASH

I was referred to Deal Dash through an offer I received on Listia. I would receive bonus credits in exchange for checking DD out. First, I must say their app was an easy download and extremely easy to navigate. I always read reviews from other customers and then the FAQ section before using any app especially where money is concerned. I was satisfied and went ahead with a purchase of a 300 bid pack on sale for only $. 12/bid. With a general idea of how things worked, I placed my first bid... AND WON! I won a $10 Burger King gift card for a penny! Now, I knew that was just a fluke probably because I happened to begin at a time of day that the site was not busy. However, it was still a big positive. I looked for more likely items and gift cards and over the course of the next couple of days popping in here and there when I had a few moments, proceeded to win two more $10 gift cards and a $25 gift card for a total of 55 cents! I was sadly at the end of my 300 bids. I only say sadly because bidding is a lot of fun. For an initial investment of $36 plus 56 cebts for the auctions I won, I received the generous bonus credits on Listia as well as $55.00 worth of gift cards! My order status didn't change (tracking is only provided for orders over a certain amount) and I began to have doubts. I reached out to DD's help team at around 8 days and received a reply in less than an hour letting me know that my gift cards had shipped on 8/22. The rep who replied to me was courteous and understanding. I received my cards the next day! From start to finish, DD has exceeded all expectation and they have won themselves a big big fan!

Deal Dash is a really great way to score some stuff in my experience, but beyond the simple mechanics of how it works, a few other bits of advice before you go nuts:

1) Observe, observe, observe! Nearly every item up for auction will come up for auction again. Especially when you are starting out, watch and learn who the big players are and how they are bidding. You are going to get blown out of the water and have a bad experience if you spend what you consider a lot of bids, only to lose against someone who was always going to bid way more than you could. The joy of Deal Dash comes in those miracle wins when no one is watching.

2) Don't expect luxury items because you see luxury prices. Particularly with the recurring brands that you see constantly - the ones that present as a luxury brand but you've never heard of until now. Everything I have won is quality, but it's not luxury quality.

3) Realize that the retail prices Deal Dash displays are massively inflated. You might see that as a bad thing, but consider that this also prevents the top players from blowing every single auction out of the water with massive numbers of bids, knowing that they can "Buy It Now" for a much smaller and more realistic retail rate and get all those bids back on top of it.

4) It should go without saying, but stick to a budget. Deal Dash is entertainment money. It is not going to help you make ends meet if you are struggling. There are very few items on DD that anyone really *needs*. I've seen people waste colossal amounts of bids (way more than they could earn for free), and yet these are some of the same people whose profile implies they are struggling.

Don't be dumb, and Deal Dash may turn out to be a lot of fun!

There was a glitch on DealDash, I believe due to new updated software which caused me to lose an auction, which I had 900 bids left on and had just bought more to put on that auction for safety.
But when I clicked to go back to the auction after buying more bids. It said I lost. I went nuts, I was like no way did I quit, what just happened?! Listen, I've been on since 2013. I've won

So I Called support and got a female agent that blamed me, said I canceled the auction, even tho I was about to win it,
It was me and someone else left. She was really rude, saying I did it. To her, that was that and She said she was gonna hang up on me if I didn't calm down. I was mad because I just lost fir no reason and now your blaming me! So I Called James Rodgers from DealDash whom I met in Fla when they brought me down to film a commercial for them. He called me back and I gotta say, he took such good care of me it's unreal. He understood and did what customer service folks should, took care of the customer. I won't say what he did but know that the people who run DealDash are caring honest good folks who work hard just like us and they really do want the customer to experience the best. Even if wrong or right, there's a way to handle situations and James is the best at it. He listened to what happened, spoke to the woman and made me feel like the only customer.
He should be the VP of DealDash, that's how good he is to me and others, and that's how that company grew to what it is, by the hard work and top notch customer service to each person. Bottom line, DealDash for the most part has great customer service and executives like James are behind the scenes making sure you get the best experience when your on DealDash. Go on today, buy some bids and win a new car or a $1500 pair of Buffalo skin dress shoes from Paris for a penny! I did and you can too. Try it!

I do a lot of research ranging from A-Z. You would not believe the number of research sites I have login information on a spread sheet (well over 100). While I do confirm answers I get from one sight with other sites, it is so nice to have one site that I can start with that so far has given me 100% correct answers and or directions. Sitejabbbers.com will be advertised on all my websites and social media sites with my endorsement, that is how good I think they are.

I see feed back on the Internet that some think they scammers because they have paid their fee and are still waiting for an answer 30 hours later. I understand this could be possible but I have had to wait days to get answers from Microsoft and Adobe and other large and reputable companies. Yes I was frustrated and yes I called and complained to the companies about their "service", so I do not nor will not discount any customer complaints. I do suggest taking control of the issue and call them back tell them the problematic issue, they have not called you back, they could not give you an answer, etc and ask for a refund. If you paid with a Visa or most other bank cards, you have 30 days to dispute the charges.

You have all this power to legitimately control your finances and the only power sitejabbers.com has is to provide you the best service as fast as they can and maintain and constantly work to improve their reputation or they will not remain in business.

Last night I downloaded from Microsoft.com, Windows 10 Pro x64 and Office 365 x64 both programs took all night to download. Both programs were downloaded as x86 versions (x64 is 64 bit, x86 is 32 bit). As we speak Microsoft is re-downloading the proper programs and will install them per my guidances probably tonight.

The point is mistakes happen, customer service breaks down. Don't complain about it, take control of it, and then legitimately after a period of 2 weeks don't discuss it on this site, their other other sites that are more effective than this sight.

Finally you have the power to make or break any company by getting your thoughts out, so when they do great jobs like they have for me, advertise them and tell the public about their great work and your positive experience with their company, I will.

So, let me tell you about my experience with DealDash. First off, they need to be straight up with their bid system. They claim that a bid buys you 10 seconds on the clock, but that's not always the case. Sometimes, even when everyone is using the bid buddy, it only goes for 8 seconds. And don't even get me started on the algorithms that control the bidding. They allow these "people" to come in and continuously hit the bid button when your time on the clock only lasts 1-2 seconds. It's frustrating, to say the least.

Anyway, last night I decided to buy $14 worth of bids on sale. I had a total of 370 bids and started bidding on a 300 bid pack from the beginning of the auction. Everything was going fine until the bidding got over the $5 threshold for no new bidders. That's when a new account came in and started sniping people within the first 1-3 seconds of their bids. It was like they were a bot or something because they were so quick and it went on for a very long time. Every time this person or bot hopped on their bid, it cost them at least 14 cents for every bid. And they took 14 cents from every person who was bidding. This went on from right before it hit $5 until around the $17 mark.

I admit, I was an idiot for staying in the bidding for that long. I was a newbie and didn't know any better. By the time I realized what was happening, I had lost most of my bids and thought I might as well keep going since I had already lost so many. I thought I could just buy the 300 bid pack for the price that they were being sold for at that moment which was $36. But I was wrong. Just before the end of the bidding, I ran out of bids. A new person who must've put in 1 bid before the $5 mark came in fresh and ended up taking it with only a few bids. I looked to buy back the bids that I lost only to find that the only way I could do that was to pay $180! That's ridiculous. I've been watching the site for a few weeks now and have never seen the bids at the full price of 60 cents per bid. Yet that's what they charge to get them back and the 300 that I was bidding on.

I'm done with DealDash. It's nothing more than online gambling. At least with eBay, you don't lose anything to bid, and even if the product is crap, PayPal protects you. I plan on making a YouTube video showing people how these rogue "bidders" can come in and wipe people's bids out and DealDash will sell them back to you at higher than normal prices. It's just not worth it.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on DealDash. I know a lot of people have been talking about their customer service, but I want to talk about the site as a whole. Let me tell you, I've been through it all with DealDash. I've been deceived, lied to, and cheated. It's not a good feeling, let me tell you.

The thing is, it's so easy to get caught up in the "auction like" atmosphere. You start bidding on something, and before you know it, you've spent way more than you intended to. And then you feel like you have to keep going, because you've already invested so much time and money into it. But then, when you finally decide to stop, someone else wins. It's not a coincidence, either. DealDash is hoping that new bidders will get caught up in the moment and spend more than they intended to. It's all part of their plan to make money.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm really upset about what happened to me and others. We just wanted a fair shot at winning the things we bid on, but that didn't happen. And it's not just about the bidding process, either. DealDash says they don't allow reselling of their items, but then people are winning multiple pairs of shoes in different sizes, or 30 sets of knives. It's pretty obvious that they're not all being used for personal use. And then there are the people who win multiple watches, or 43 large pictures worth over $2000 each. It's just not realistic.

The site has become such a scam and fraud, it's really unbelievable. People are buying things just so they can sell them and buy more bids to buy more stuff they don't even want. Meanwhile, someone who actually wants the item gets duped. It's just not fair.

So, my advice to you is to stay away from DealDash. It's just not worth it.

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience on DealDash. It seems like the same two people are always bidding against each other, and they're the only ones bidding on the same items over and over again. I mean, if they're gonna do that, why don't they just give me a bunch of bids too? Then I could actually have a chance at winning something that I'm interested in. I've seen items on the site that are claimed to be worth thousands of dollars, but I can find them on other sites for a fraction of the price.

It's not just the prices that are the problem, though. The whole bidding process is just frustrating. You never know when an auction is going to end, or if it's even going to happen at all. And even if you do manage to win something, you're stuck with tokens that you can only use on certain items. I recently signed up for DealDash, hoping to snag some great deals on electronics like laptops, iPods, and TVs. However, I quickly realized that the majority of the products up for auction were off-brand or mystery brand items, with very few high-end products available. What's more, the retail prices for these items were often absurdly high - for example, a knitted hat with a retail price of $90 or a clock priced at $250. One brand that stood out to me was Schultz, which I had never heard of before joining DealDash. They offered a range of products, including in-ear headphones, massage chairs, and speakers, all of which were priced much higher than comparable products from top brands like Bose and Beats.

Curious about the quality of Schultz's products, I decided to bid on a pair of their headphones. To my disappointment, they turned out to be mediocre at best, with sound quality comparable to much cheaper headphones from brands like Skullcandy. I also looked into the retail price of Schultz's massage chairs, which were listed on DealDash for over $14,000 - a price that seemed completely outlandish. When I compared prices on Amazon, I found that top brands offered similar massage chairs for between $1,800 and $7,000. When I visited Schultz's website, I found it to be very shady, with no product specs or reviews available. The reviews on Amazon were all five-star ratings, but they were written by non-verified purchasers and lacked any specific details about the products.

Another brand that caught my attention was Verdict, which seemed to be the primary brand of watches available on DealDash. These watches were priced at over $300, which was double the price of similar styles from top brands like Michael Kors and Fossil. However, Verdict had no website and no reviews on Amazon, which made me suspicious that they were only partnering with DealDash to sell their products.

Overall, I believe that DealDash is auctioning off generic products at inflated prices in order to trick consumers into thinking they're getting a good deal. While this practice may not be illegal, it is certainly dishonest and shady. In my opinion, the products on DealDash are only worth a fraction of their retail prices. If you're looking for a good deal, I would recommend checking out eBay or Craigslist instead. DealDash has not responded to my accusations, which only adds to my suspicion that they are not operating in good faith.

This is an update about DealDash, the online auction site. Currently, there is an auction for 9,000 bids, and if you look at the past winners, you'll see that some users are winning with an insane amount of bids. For example, Chippewabandit won an auction with 27,617 bids and paid $773.87 on top of all those bids. It's impossible to compete with users like that, and there are many others like them on the site. In my previous review, I mentioned some of their names, but there are so many that it's hard to keep track.

I'm writing these reviews for two reasons. First, I want to inform the public about what they're getting into when they join DealDash. Second, I want DealDash to do something to make it fair for everyone. Right now, it seems like the only way to win is to pay way more than the item is worth, which is not fair at all.

There is always one user dominating almost all the auctions at one time, and it's getting worse every day. However, I have learned how to play the system, so I have won some good things. But, the last couple of months have been bad, and I haven't been winning hardly anything since I started posting these reviews. I wonder if there is something to that considering DealDash reads these reviews and sees what I have written.

If you're thinking about joining DealDash, my advice is to watch it first for a while before jumping in. Look for these people and what their patterns are. Check all the people who have put one bid in and are laying in wait for the end to jump in and crush you after you've invested a ton of money. They will come back. I never join an auction with any of the users I've mentioned, and I will be back soon with more names, as there are so many, I do not think I got them all last time.

In conclusion, DealDash needs to do something to make it fair for everyone. The current system is not working, and it's frustrating for users who want to win without having to pay a fortune. Keep an eye out for the users who dominate the auctions and learn their patterns before joining an auction.

So, I decided to give DealDash a try and boy, was I in for a surprise! The folks at DealDash are really smart, they have a lot of high-end items and popular gift cards up for grabs. But here's the catch, you have to buy bids to participate in the auctions. The promotions run for different prices, and I paid 12 and 14 cents per bid.

Now, when you go to an auction and you don't have enough bids to compete with whoever decides to join for that item, then you lose. Unlike real auctions where only the highest bidder pays, not so here. Everyone who bets and doesn't win loses the money invested in the purchase of those bids. Each bid on an item is 1 cent, meaning you only increase the price bid by 1 cent. But people forget that they paid 12+ cents for that bid. What you end up paying is the number of bids multiplied by the cost of bids, plus whatever the winning bid price for that item was.

Yes, you might get a $50 gift card for $20, but it might take you 537 bids to do it. (537 x 12 = 64.44) PLUS the $20 winning bid equals $84.44 for a $50 item! And here's the kicker, 80 to 90% of the people on there pay way above its worth consistently! Why? I do not understand this. There is even a 'buy now' option at retail price listed, telling you the retail price. But no, people bid for hours and days even.

There are also a large group of people on the site quite frequently that if they are bidding on the same item as you, you might as well quit, unless you are wealthy because they set the automated bidder and they will stick with it. And they bid on everything, multiple auctions at a time and usually win. On DealDash, the winners spend money on bids, plus the final win price. PLUS DealDash keeps every single bid others used to try and win.

So, an ongoing auction is at $8,000, that's 1 cent bids, 100 bids for every dollar, at 12-14 cents a bid (100 x 13 on average = 13.00) (13.00 x 8000.00 = 104,000.00) plus the final price of that auction 8,000 + 104,000 = $112,000 is what DealDash gets for that item. They are buying leftovers (stuff that didn't sell) from companies in bulk. I guarantee they didn't pay anywhere near that for the whole lot!

DealDash is racking up money based on people being stupid. Every once in a while, 10-20% get an item for way lower, like $1200 for a new $38,000 Prius. But that's not the norm. I got a $50 gift card for $1.72, went to the store's website, and 90% of their stock was sold out, and the few items left were ridiculous prices! ($950 for an ice cooler, wtf?) And it's not a mainstream store, like most of DealDash's stuff. I couldn't trade/sell it online.

Bottom line, it's useless to me. I spent a total of $150.00 in bids and $1.75 on winning bid prices and got a $10 Walmart card, 160 extra bids (yes, they have auctions on bids! Brilliant!), a $50 useless gift card to Wilson & Miller, and a 1ft x 1ft plot in Scotland with an official certificate declaring my new title as Lady (yes, it IS real, just like Elton John, except female and kinda cool).

Now, do you think that was worth it? I do not. But if money limitations don't apply to you, or you are a naturally lucky person and can time it just right (cause you have no idea what your competition has at their disposal), then go right ahead. The statistics of the stupid, sorry, I meant of the winners, are accessible right on each auction's page.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited about DealDash's new promotions, but my experience bidding on gift card auctions left me feeling pretty disappointed. I bid on 17 different auctions in one day, thinking it would be easier to win, but boy was I wrong. I ended up having to BIN all of them, and at 60 bucks a pop, that really added up. I'd love to be able to buy extra bids and bid on some of their other product auctions, but it seems like there are a lot of players out there who are just driving the prices up beyond retail. I don't know if they're working together or what, but it's frustrating to see the same people winning over and over again.

I managed to win one gift card in almost 8 months of bidding, and it cost me over 3000 bids to do it. I even tried to cancel my bid buddy, but as soon as I did, the auction ended and I was the winner. It's like these other bidders have some kind of inside knowledge or are using third-party software to give them an advantage. And even though DealDash says they've addressed this issue with their new Terms of Use, it still seems like a problem to me.

The prices on DealDash are pretty high, especially for the average buyer. But I will say that the quality of the products I did end up buying was pretty good. You just have to be willing to pay retail price for them. And if you're okay with that, then buying bids and bidding on auctions can be a safe way to save some money. I've definitely gotten some good deals that way.

But if you're trying to win gift cards, be prepared to go up against some serious competition. The elite bidders on DealDash seem to win all the time, and they're always bidding 24/7. They have a huge advantage over the rest of us who are trying to earn bids instead of buying them. And even when you do win an auction, you might end up having to spend way more on bids than you saved on the product.

All in all, I enjoy bidding on DealDash, but I wouldn't want to spend 60 cents per bid just to lose them all in an auction. And even when bids are cheaper, you still have to be careful not to get caught up in the bidding frenzy and end up spending more than you intended. So if you're thinking about trying DealDash, just be aware of the risks and make sure you're willing to pay the price.

Last night, I decided to go all in on a blender on DealDash. It was priced at a whopping $500, but I valued it at no more than $100. I paid special attention to bidders I needed to avoid. I bid at off times and days when items were going for less. I never expected to win a car, a computer, or any Apple product, yet I didn't come here to pay for something I neither wanted nor needed, such as gold-plated costume jewelry or a $50 barrel shack gift card (I've yet to see that $50 Walmart gift card I've read so much about). I spent the vast majority of my bids on some relatively inexpensive items, such as lower-end and mid-range bid packs and basic appliances. Focusing mostly on a few barrel shack items and several kitchen appliances, I primarily placed bids on the items you see multiple times on a daily basis, such as toaster ovens, KitchenAid mixers, knives, barrel shack end tables and dog beds, air fryers, TVs, cutlery sets, flatware, blenders, and much, much more.

I've tried bidding early, I've tried bidding late, I've been beaten by "jumpers," and then tried "jumping" in myself. Seems like whenever I bid, and every single time I have gone all in, the selling price, as well as the total number of bids placed by the eventual winner, has been much, much, much higher than average. Seems every time I bid, there is someone who always has more bids than me, is always willing to stay until I'm depleted of bids, always willing to pay more and use more bids to win against me than the vast majority of previous winners of the same items auctioned and won for much less. Once, twice, three times, and more, a coincidence? Well, we're well beyond that now. Too good to be true?

I've just read several other reviews that sound like mine. The blender I bid on was no Vitamix and is not mentioned in any real consumer reviews nor found for sale in retail stores outside of eBay and Amazon, where winning bidders are profiteering off fools like myself. Too good to be true? Manufactured by or for DealDash, who can then set their own overinflated MSRP? Maybe. Other reviewers here seem to think so.

I have been buying items at auction, including eBay, for decades now and have made several excellent purchases. I consider DealDash to be a waste of time since apparently it does not matter what I bid on or how much I bid or how many bids I place. It does not matter when I bid or who I bid against. I will not, seems I am not allowed to win anything on DealDash unless I want to pay (in bid cost plus winning price) more than the legitimate retail value, or I could choose to "buy it now" at full manufacturer's suggested retail price when I could simply "shop" for the same or similar item of equal or better quality at a less expensive price elsewhere. Well, what about all those bidders I see winning the same items I bid on for far less than I bid? What about those various bidders who always seem to have more bids and are willing to bid however much it takes so that I end up winning nothing? Is it real or is it Memorex? Only Uncle Tan knows for sure. Sounds too good to be true?

I have deleted my photo and payment method. I'm done buying bid packs if the bids I buy are completely useless. You can delete my account if you want. For those wanting to try DealDash, it's your choice. Just ask yourself, "does it sound too good to be true?" After that, you're on your own, and good luck. As for me, "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." I don't like being played for a fool.

On the website it provides a link offering you 10 free bids. Upon clicking it, it navigates you to a page where you enter your credit card info which would make sense as you would need a payment method for when you win an auction. In reality, instead of providing you with the 10 free bids as advertised, they charge your credit card for $30 without asking you or providing any indication that you are making a purchase rather than entering a payment method for the future. I'm currently in contact with my uncle who practices law to see what options I have against them.

I was curious to see what Deal Dash was about as I have been seeing the commercials on television. I signed up for a FREE account and nowhere did it say that I would be charged. A few minutes after I put in my card information and opened my account, I was alerted that a charge of $30 was charged to my account. I did not bid on anything and this is not acceptable to be charged for something without knowledge. THIS IS HOW A SCAM WORKS!

Hello I signed up for dealdash for the first time. Didn't even buy anything or make any bids, just scrolled through the items. Next morning was checking my bank account and saw I was charged $33? I don't understand how that happened, but I have since deleted my card from the website and would appreciate a refund. There should be something that very clearly states you'll be charged money.

On Nov. 9, 2023, DealDash charged $30.00 to my account without my authorization. This occurred as I was merely following the system prompts to create an account - I did not bid on nor select a single item nor a bundle of "bids".

I want the money refunded to my account immediately.

Additionally, it would be appropriate to provide an answer as to why DealDash neither acknowledges their intent to charge nor prompts users with an "accept these charges" window prior to establishing the account.

I went in to look at Deal Dash and it immediately wanted me to make an account before I could look at anything. I thought I was only linking my PayPal account. Normally if you're being charged, PayPal has a popup box stating what I'm being charged - this did not happen, and the next think I knew I was charged $30.00. I tried to email Deal Dash, but the email was returned as undeliverable.

It may not be illegal and an overt scam but bidders beware -- you should read everything on that site very carefully. In order to bid you must buy bid packages, usually around 13-15 cents per bid for packages of dozens to hundreds of them. But for some bundled items, especially in electronics, which can raise the buy-it-now value beyond even market rate, you will lose your bids if you don't win. So if you have spent several hundred dollars buying bids and the item was won by someone else for several hundred dollars, even if you won, you could well have bought part or even all of the bundle for less money. Even the buy it now for gift cards can have double the actual value. As I see it, I am better off at other sites like eBay and Etsy for items that interest me. I wish I hadn't tregistered for the site let alone bid for things.

I went on the deal dash site today, morning of 8/12/2023 just to check it out and the next thing i knew they charged my pay pal account $30 for buying bids. I dont use this site and i never intended to buy any bids i was just looking into maybe using the site. I never intentionally purchased bids I am a senior citizen 73 yrs old and not at all familiar with how these things work and made a mistake today.

I signed up for deal dash and when prompted I added my PayPal, not thinking I would be immediately charged 70$! I thought I was simply linking my account! Your page is misleading, it never took me to a page that said "review your purchase" or anything! Or even that I was being charged money! I'm panicking now because I don't have that kind of money to waste!

I read thru the info Question & answers but what it doesn't say is the price that they charge to join. They say how much to buy the item when you are bidding, but when you begin it says here are your free bids. So I tried to get in the bidding, but there are experienced bidders & they win. But after I got out, Then it said we billed your card $72.00. That is too much! I think they should say the price to begin with. Can I get my money back?

So, I was back where I started with a pool of bids to use on the site. I'm sure I'll end up attempting to win something again, as the site is very addictive and time-consuming. However, I do recognize that it's basically low percentage gambling to win items that I could just buy and save myself a bunch of time.

Update: With my pool of 300 bids and a little more experience with how the auctions work, I was able to win 200 more bids. Unfortunately, those bids didn't end up winning me anything. However, since I got most of my money back, the experience only ended up costing me $6.39. I spent quite a few hours on the DealDash site, but ultimately ended up losing to people who had more bids to spend than I did.

I bought some bids because they guarantee that you will get your money back or win something or replace your bids. After trying with the first batch and failing, they replaced my 221 bids. On the second try, I applied all the bids at once using their recommended auto-bidder. I gave them 221 bids to use on a $17 item and still didn't win?

The 221 bids cost me $30 to buy, so I spent $30 to buy an item at $17 which at $17 is a discount, but by the time you add the bids to the item cost, you spend $47 for something I could have purchased on Amazon for $34 and it would have taken up 10 minutes of my time. They say that shipping takes several days or weeks in some cases on DEALDASH, whereas Amazon offers free shipping in 2 days.

I don't know about your time, but my time is valuable. I want to spend my time with family and friends when I am not working, not having to analyze the bidding system, and jump on and off checking to see how many people are going to be bidding on an item at a certain time. They brag about the auto-bidder being the way to go, but I used it on 11 different auctions and got nowhere.

Now they refuse to return my money using the 90 day loophole, which if you are new and learning the system and want to buy something you like, is really frustrating. All items are not always available, very few items to bid at at one time, and some take weeks to return. Then they ask you to try again by giving you the bids back again, and now I may have opened up the garbage, taken $30 out of my wallet - which is 2 hours of work for me, and just thrown the money in the garbage. I am out of money and lots of time. Don't waste either!

By the way, I only write reviews when I am really happy with something, or have experienced something so awful that I try to prevent another from going through the same. I have no dog in this race, except to try to save another like myself to fall for this. I am sure some people have been successful in buying items at discount prices, but I know first hand how many bids it takes to "win" that item, and THAT is where the cost comes in. MOVE ON!

Warning! Before you give any credit card or money transfer information to DealDash, make sure you read everything you can about them. I was curious about how they could sell items so cheaply, but I made the mistake of not reading the "How this site works" section before I started. They had a fake intro that said there would be no charge for the "show me intro," but I soon found out that wasn't true.

I saw that you had to buy "BIDS" to participate in auctions, but they gave you a small amount for free. I think they charged 12 cents per bid after that. I looked through the intro and decided it wasn't for me. I clicked off the website and uninstalled the app from my phone in less than five minutes.

Then, I got a text from PayPal saying that DealDash had taken $72 out of my account. I also got a text from DealDash showing a charge for 600 bids! I was off the site and never saw any items up for sale or bids. I've never come across such deception in all my years.

I called the number for DealDash, but my phone flashed "Suspected spam," so I hung up immediately. I called PayPal, but they were closed after 6:00 p.m. I called back on the DealDash phone number and got a gentleman who spoke clear English and helped me. He said he would reverse the charges on PayPal for the first offer to buy, which they said I made, but how could I? I wasn't even on the phone! I clicked off the site and never saw anything for sale. That's very deceptive.

Anyway, PayPal did show a credit for $72. Imagine if I hadn't called them so quickly and demanded my money back and to cancel any account under my name. How many people have been scammed by this ruthless company that's making so much money off of innocent people? They can afford to give you a $400 barbecue for $40, like I saw on TV, and it makes you curious. But don't try this site. You will most likely get ripped off.

I would like to hear other people's reviews if they were real, but I can't imagine how this company can have a four-star rating with this kind of attitude and ruthless ripping off people. They guarantee your purchases through PayPal, and if anything goes wrong, you do get a refund without having to deal with suspected spam flashing on your phone when you call them. Never again.

I won a bid for a moissanite necklace. Not only does it say it's worth 2,499 dollars, which the necklace is $100 anywhere else. But it says it comes with GRA certification of the gemstone. When I looked at the certification given, it was obviously fake. The certification is for a round brilliant cut, while the necklace is a triangle cut. I tried the id given on GRA website, and as I thought, it doesn't exist.
