Days Inn dirty rooms, missing refund

I booked and paid for 2 rooms at the Casper Wy Days Inn for the 21st through the 22nd because I am a single mom battling Breast Cancer and this is what I could afford on my budget. When we arrived to check in the lady at the front desk (who was very nice, just stressed) told us that she didn't have our rooms because they weren't cleaned and she couldn't reach her manager. I was told to call the next day (the 22nd) and speak with the manager about a refund. I had to go to a different hotel and spend an additional $70 on my rooms that I really cant afford. When I called the next day, as instructed, the manager wasn't there and I was told to call the next day. When I called the next day (the 23rd) I finally got to talk to her. I gave a very brief explanation of what happened, she acted like I was bothering her. Then said she would take care of it and slammed the phone down. Very RUDE, not even an apology was given. I have already called and submitted a complaint through here already. It has been 2 weeks since this all happened and I STILL have NOT received a refund. I am getting very upset at this entire thing, If it is not resolved soon I will be filing a claim in court.

Days Inn disgusting room conditions

9/18/2019: We made a reservation to spend the night and were too tired to move on after seeing the room. 1. Many of the electric receptacles did not work. 2. The bathroom light switch had to be moved up and down several times for the light to come on. 3. We could not drink the water as it tasted like soap. 4. We had to turn off the water to the commode as it ran constantly making loud noises. 5. The standing pole light had cobwebs around the switch and inside the shade. 6. The sheets looked like they had already been slept on. 7. The floors were filthy. 8. There is no way we would have eaten the total carbohydrate breakfast there or even drank the coffee. We will be reporting this motel to the Kentucky State Department of Health.

Days Inn my stay there.

I checked in, n rite off the bat had problems with the room.1st thing the room was very dirty n the refrigerator n microwave were very diry n had to clean them.Thee safe was broken n didn't work.3rd They said i was smokeing in the room n i was wasn't, i was outside smokeing n had to pee bad so i went to pee n i got a ash on the floor.4th the said i am not getting my $100 deposit back.5th when sleeping i got bit by bugs all over my body.6th i went to the office at night to get towles n they said they didn't have any n they said you will have to wait till the morningp n asked for a scratch pad and they said wait till the morning.And they came in my room a few time to check on the room they invaded my privacy.7th I went to the office to pay for more days, and rhey got on the phone and told someone to go check out my room before i leave and they went through my things .So i checked out and went somewhere else and refused to give me back my $100 deposit.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone very bad service .This the worst hotel I ever stood at.PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER TO [protected]@YAHOO.COM

Days Inn everything

Days Hotel by Wyndham Allentown Airport / Lehigh Valley

we stayed here I had two rooms. look at the pictures. health department would shut this place down! mold, people living there. cooking in their room. security doors to outside broken and propped open from those who live there. smoking in rooms I would like a full refund of my stay of both rooms. please call me with any questions. this is truly a disgusting place with your logo on it.

If you choose to stay at this hotel you should pay. If you cannot afford to sleep on the streets or homeless shelter. Funny how you had no issue staying at the hotel. You only had an issue paying. Also, they are going to know that you got those photos from the internet and are lying about the hotel being like this because you did not want to pay. If it were really that bad you would have left. You are just looking for a free room. There are homeless shelters for people like you. Or if you do not as their rules sleep in a cardboard box on the streets.

Days Inn charging extra for smoking when nobody smoked

Hi me and my wife have been traveling across Canada and stayed at your hotel in Brandon Manitoba we are on a tight budget we had a good sleep we checked out and were back on the road towards thu der bay half way threw the day I notice you guys charged an extra 200 to my account without calling me or anything and when I call back I'm told it was for smoking in the room witch we never did we are good respectful customers and I am very upset I dont even let anyone smoke in my car and I would never smoke in a non smoking room witch all rooms are I feel like fraud has been committed and will be looking into this more I will not be robbed for sompthing I never did if I had done that then it would be fair but if not resolved you have lost myself as a customer for life

Days Inn hotel

On September 6 2019 my husband and I were guests at The Days Inn on 11022 Northwest Freeway in Houston TX. I booked a room for smokers. When we opened the room door the smell
Was overwhelming, it was almost unbeatable. We went to the reception and the lady change our room and ask us a deposit o 100 usd. When I went back to the room
I was unable to order food because the menu and the directory were sticky and super dirty. We decided to eat out and when we came back we went right to sleep. In the middle of the night we woke up and realize that the room was filthy, two big yellow stains on the bed cover, chips, gums and toenails on the floor. I was disgusted. In the morning I was ready to go get breakfast and there was no food. I complained, the lady on the front desk, Diana, told me to e mail the picture and my complains and that she would talk with her manager. I email them twice and waited for about a week before I decided to call. The hotel manager did not know what I was talking about, he told me that he did not know what was going on and that he was going to e mail me back . Two weeks later I still did not hear anything back. I am aware that I was suppose to check the room when I arrived, but I was exhausted. I traveled the word and stayed also in 1 star hotel and still never experienced such a poor costumer service and igiene problems. I found ridicules that I had to reach out to the hotel 3 times and still didn't hear an apologize for the poor service. I am a travel agent, I am used to book La Quinta e Days Inn for my clients. For sure I won't book this hotel ever again. Highly discourage anyone to book this hotel .

Days Inn manager

Manager went into a expletive laced tirade when I accidentally brought my puppy into the lobby. He said you know its against the law to bring a dog in here. I said I do know now.
I told him sorry I'm leaving. He couldn't let it go at that as was was walking out he said its [censored]ing common sense. I said what, that's not very nice way to put it.
He chased me out made me trip and spill my coffee on myself and continued with his tirade which contained over a dozen [censored] you, [censored] your family, [censored] your dog you mother [censored]er. Is this because I'm white?
Is this how senior citizens are treated at days inn?
I didn't pay good money to be treated like that.
I don't get any breakfast because of this and now have to spend more to eat after I already paid you for my breakfast.

Days Inn reeks of cigarettes.

We Booked this room 6 weeks ahead for a non smoking room. Upon arrival we were assigned a smoking room and told thats all they have. Have a 3 yr and 18 month old. The room smells like a bar full of active smokers. Mgr refused to change the room assignment or refund the prepaid amount. We can't expose our babies to this filth. Lost our money but must go elsewhere. Travel at least two days a week on business staying in motels. Never again Days Inn.

I am at the day's inn in North Carolina near Ft. Bragg. There is drug dealing out of the rooms Furniture is old has stains all over it it is not clean very small TV I think that somebody from corporate all to come out here and check this out carpets are very dirty nothing seems clean whatsoever in the rooms key cards don't work that well in the locks smoke detectors are unplugged

Days Inn the room

I stayed at days inn Bradford m62 on Monday on Monday the 23rd of September,
I was very disappointed at the fact you are advertising on your website there is a seating area (a sofa bed)
In the rooms on arriving there was no seating area and the fact that there was me and my husband but only one chair in the room was not very nice, I don't expect to pay for one of us to sit on a bed, I am a very reagular customer of yours and in the rewards club, on our previous visit this was the same but was reassured my hotel receptionist this was only while renovations were taking place,
On speaking to the receptionist this time I was asked that when I booked the next time to add in the request box to get a room with a seating area, why should I have to do that when it's advertised on your site as having one, very dissatisfied at this,
As I use use your hotel as a stop over when conducting business in Manchester
I think in future I might have to use another hotel chain

Days Inn person

there's this worker that goes by the name harsh, he starts yelling at his guests whenever there is some sort of problem, he also kinda lurks around certain areas of the hotel and it makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable. a lot of people at the hotel feel like not coming back just because he doesn't know good boundaries especially when it comes to communicating with the guests. some already left and got a hotel some place else because they don't want to deal with him. he came into a few people's get togethers at the pool, drank some of their stuff and messes up the good time they were having. please make sure to talk to him about how to do a proper job and make people feel happy at days inn.

Days Inn hotel

Tonight is my third night of being at Days Inn and my second night of finding bugs in my bed. Upon finding the bug tonight, we decided to shake the sheets of both beds to cleanse them of any additional bugs and found that our sheets were not cleaned and appeared to have semen on them. I took pictures of the sheets and took them down to the front desk.

Days Inn over charged my direct express card

On or about July 17 I stopped at Days Inn at about 6 A.M. to see if I could get a room I had been driving alnight. First I ask if I do rent room will I have to pay again at 11 A.M. if so I don't want room . The girl which was new she said called someone and ask and they told her that it would be OK and that I would not be charged again at 11 A.M., she went about doing the paperwork on computer but didn't know how to do so so she called a young man and he went about doing it and I called my card and the 74.45 had already been deducted from my card. So he try's to do it so not charge me again and thought he had done so. But what happen is it took me a hour or more before I got a room and didn't get any statement and have to wait for Manager the next day. Next day I'm tired up with manager and miss doing my work that day because of all the phone calling and just [censored]. Had to stay another night and was going to stay at Deerfield Inn but I didn't have but 40.00 on my card and I had like 280.00 the day before. So I go back to Days Inn. They let me have a room but I had to let them have the 40 dollars I had left. Now they have all my money. They should have gave me a room free. An I've not got any money back from them still. This has caused me great hardship because I live on limited money. I'm disable. And this is just poor and non respectable managment.

Days Inn service and treatment also payment not received

I didn't even get a chance to stay, I booked a room through my union for a trip my family was taking for the Cowboy Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Saturday September 21st and we would check out on Sunday the 22nd. I called at about 8:30 pm on Saturday to verify my rooms as we were going to arrive late because of the shows then dinner. The woman who answered was polite and said that yes, my rooms were good to go (I'd already paid for them), and that late arrival wouldn't be a problem because the front desk was manned 24 hours a day. We showed up at around 1120 tired and worn out with 3 incredibly tired children only to find a very frazzled and stressed front desk clerk who informed us that there wasn't any rooms available because the cleaning staff didn't clean 18 rooms (you can't tell me that the lady who answered my call didn't know that). The lady at the front desk was very nice, but wasn't sure what to do since it was only her 3rd night working by herself and she couldn't reach her manager, as she had been trying, because she had 5 bookings with the same problem and several people waiting in the lobby. She "walked" us to another more expensive hotel for the night and said to get in touch with her manager the next day. I called the next day (Sunday), as instructed only to find out that the manager wouldn't be in until the NEXT day (Monday). So I called her first thing on Monday morning and was finally able to speak to the manager (Crystal is her name) . After giving a brief explanation, she never asked me for more details after I simply told her that I had booked and paid but when I got there I couldn't stay because the rooms weren't cleaned. I booked this hotel because its what I could afford as a single mom. I am very upset at having to pay extra for a different hotel (almost $100 more) since it was their fault I had to go to the new hotel. I am out the extra money I had to pay for the far more expensive rooms. The manager didn't really seem to care about it at all. She just sighed, looked up my reservations and said "It's taken care of" . She treated me as though I was just an inconvenience for her rather then a customer who has already paid.

**update- It has been 2 days and I still have NOT received any money back.
I have submitted a picture of my bank statement to prove I paid and haven't received anything yet. The charge highlighted in Yellow and circled is the charge from Days Inn. The 2 charges highlighted in Pink is the hotel that I had to check into because of the problem.

Days Inn my room(s)

I have been staying at Days Inn in Middleburg Heights since Thursday September 9/19 and have had to switch rooms 3 times. Day 1: room 220 neither the cable nor air work. Switch to room 224 stay over night leave and come back and the lock stops working and can't get my belongings until the next day. Today I come to my room 219 and the key card is not working once again. I go to the desk and the clerk says the room is unoccupied. Really? My bags are in this room and has been all day. I will never stay at this establishment again. Horrible experience.

Days Inn Hotel lodging

Reserved a room on march of 2019 for my homecoming in Bowling Green Ohio for 9/13 and 9/15. Arrived on 9/13 at 6 pm only to find out the hotel had been shut down, I drove 3 hours to get there and was told by the clerk that they had been shut down since about 1pm. I was even notified and all the other hotels were full due to it being homecoming.
Horrible way to handed business.

Days Inn wrongfully using wrong card to pay for room.

1. They told me my card wouldn't be used. They needed it to reserve the room. Tuesday., they scanned my card for 1.00.?
2. When we arrived, I gave them my wife's ID and her credit card to pay for the room. They scanned her credit card for the room. I signed and was given a reciept. I checked my banking account and they charged me too. I needed my cash for our vacation. So they are telling me it will take 3-4 days for a refund.

Days Inn should be refunded for my stay

My room was not ready by 3 the staff was very rude and nasty my room had carvings on the headboard baseboards look like they haven't been washed in years and when I went into my room the first night it was fine second night the key wouldn't work to get in my store the third night the key wouldn't work to go in my door and I had blood on my sheets after they put new clean sheets on supposedly I paid 162 whatever it was I stayed 5th of September through the 8th of September and Tampa Days Inn Wyndham I will never be staying in any of your facilities anymore I have just been blown away I was surprised there was not even know bed bugs I'm going to talk to my cousin that works for Wyndham and see what we can maybe have done maybe like refund my money they didn't even offer me anything I called tonight and the lady says sorry can't do nothing so this is the way you like things to be done I don't even know how you are as in business the building should be condemned I was so scared there and no one's called or even did anything I feel the survey out so this is the way you get back with your people that rent rooms from you you might as well have a [censored]house oh and yes I forgot to say I even heard gunshots

Days Inn hotel

I stayed at the Days inn by wyndham from Aug 11th 2019 -Sept 4th 2019. I must say it was a lonng very uncomfortable stay. The i was staying in a King suite first 4days in which i paid 109 a night then i heard from another check in they had chaeper split rooms due to having my family with me i switched to save money the room on 3rd floor was horrible lots of young staff who relax in rooms the smell of marijuana on 3rd floor each room then when you put up the sign do nkt disturb they still entered walked in on my spouse and I. 3 days in a row they did this last time 3housekeepers walked in as im getting dressed at that point i was furious i reported it to manager at the time she then moved me the next room floor was soak n wet from ac leak in which they were solely booked we had to stay there for a week until they moved us back to 2nd floor which is much better with older housekeepers. I was bitten by a bug my leg slowly turned red they bedding had makeup on it just nasty for prive. Lastly they advertise kitchenette for families in rooms i had a hotplate in which i was making my children food which set smoke alarm off i was yelled at insulted degraded by the indian man with turban think he is supervisor the so called owner also lied and told me upon check out i would get my $200 incidental back. Which never happened the halls smell of marijuana badly they didnt put any of thise guests out but because i made a meal for my kids they did this as it was my last to my name and i was homeless at the time

Days Inn filthy room

We arrived at 2 pm with a baby yesterday. Not one other guest was here and the woman told us they couldn't let us get a room due to none being clean. At 2 pm?! When check in is at 3, ridiculous.

We then are given our keys at 3 and go to our room that is absolutely filthy. Beds were barely made and broken, broken a/c unit (no jobs), splattered juice on the walls, cords hanging out of the walls and hair still all over the shower from the previous guest. I have pictures I will include.

We wake up this morning to grab a coffee and food before our long journey home and what a surprise, nothing was set up and it is 6:15! I am standing outside the room where breakfast should be and there is no food, no coffee and the vending machine is out of order.

We spent $100 to stay here and it was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

I spoke to the woman at the front desk and she stated there was nothing she could do. I emailed and called to speak with the manager. The manager emailed me back and blamed it all on us!
