Days Inn Poor rooms, bad staff, unsafe conditions

the room is in a state of filth beding had burn holls dirt plied up by wall and box springs the chairs were torn black mold in bathrooms black mold and dirt ubove the cooler/heater could smell someone smoking drugs sold in the open parking lot in walk way had to put chairs in front of door to keep the door closed boombox playin till 11.30 pm asked for refund for next night was yelled at when ask for refund no refund you should be ashamed to have your name on this dump yes i lost 65.00 dollors but would not keep my family there read other complants on this place most are the same as mine

Days Inn General manager mia

Hotel would not refund cancellation of a prepaid reservation reported weeks before arrival. Guest experienced house fire and could not leave for her planned cruise. Guest reported cancellation on 2/6 with her expected arrival of 2/14. Hilton hotel manager called but gets no response from GM of Days Inn FT. Lauderdale. Days Inn Dirty, dangerous hotel

On Dec 30, 2019, I checked in to Days Inn in Medford, OR, for a 5 night stay. This became a three night stay, as the room and property are in terrible condition.

We were dismayed to discover that the furniture was torn, the headboard on the bed was falling over at a precarious angle, the walls had large holes, and there were multiple large insects inside throughout our stay. Many transients pass through the parking lot; the outside access doors do not close properly and don't have locks, allowing any and all passers-by to enter the property at any hour of the day or night.

The third-floor balcony for our room was cracked and appeared unsafe to walk on, the stairways are also cracked and have metal rebar protruding from the steps. There's no inspection certificate posted in the elevator, the hallways are dark and dirty, and the room itself smelled of cigarettes even though we asked for a nonsmoking room. To say the property is dirty and unsafe is an understatement.

Had we not checked in just before a major US holiday, we would have left immediately. We checked out the morning of January 2, 2020, and found lodging elsewhere. There was no point in discussing these matters with front desk personnel; after I was unable to obtain an extra roll of toilet paper the afternoon before, it was clear that guest needs are not a priority at Days Inn Medford.

Wyndham corporate offices suggested that the matter would be best handled by communicating direcly with the property. This came after I was assured by their call center that disputes would be resolved at the corporate level, because we had reserved the room online. It's obvious that no one takes guest relations seriously at any level of the company.

Needless to say I am extremely disappointed and would like a full refund of $218.17 for the nights we stayed in these unacceptable conditions.

Days Inn Room 110

I had reservations for 1-25-20 until 1-26-20 and I was not please at all.
1. The hotel itself is rundown not the quality i'm used to with days inn
2. My bathroom had black mold all around the bottom of the floor. When I spoke to the person at the desk she informed me that they just got a new roof and that maybe the rain had caused the mold.
3. The room itself smelt stale and needed to be aired out.
4. Bed old and lumpy
I will never ever give you my business again. Thanks for an uncomfortable stay

Days Inn I was not feeling well and simply needed a blanket

On 1/17/2020fri... Confirmation number [protected] room 108... Name chandra abner. If you review your cameras you will see that I asked management for a blanket he yells at me and tells me to get out... I was under the weather and asked again for a blanket while on the phone with customer care he yells and states im washing them and said he gave me six (untrue)... When he finally brings a blanket he yells at me and throws it in my face... At that moment I felt threatened and called the police... But when the police said that he gave me a blanket 6 of them I knew this manager was a liar and he threatened to charge more money. When I called my card there where pending charges resting on my account of 92.00 and 11.00for the blanket... I immediately left this scary place the same day less than 4 hrs of stay... The clerk gave me a false receipt stating that I stayed and checked out on sat... The room was in tact I left this horrible place that day. Stop letting this bad behavior win please contact at [protected]

Days Inn The lack of communication and rudeness of employees

I have tried for the past week to contact the manager of the Days Inn in Golden Colorado. I have left menages and one e-mail to Chris, the man in charge.
I have not gotten any response from him. I have been hung up on by a very rude female employee.
I have been trying to get a refund or something due to my
appointment at the va in Golden was cancelled by the va.
the service I have received by the Days Inn staff has been less then enjoyable
All this started when I got a letter from the va on 12/23/19
I started cancelling as soon as i read the letter.The reservation was for Feb.3 2020.
My reservation was made through AARP.
I have got refunds from auto rental and airline reservation.
I am getting nothing but trouble from Golden Days Inn.
The unprofessional way the greeting is when the phone is answered.

Days Inn Poor customer service and the manager is very unprofessional

I Have been staying at your hotel for the last two months With my children we are between apartments I didn't expect to stay this long and has happened there's one staff member that is amazing and that is the leawith my children we are between apartments I didn't expect to stay this long it has happened there's one staff member that is amazing and that is Elisse The rest of your staff and this does not include the housekeepers are very rude and disrespectful but that is not the reason I am complaining today your manager Cory is very disrespectful very unprofessional and downgrading your customers our bathroom is flooding from the tub and it is leaking underneath the wall into the carpet by the bed where my daughters clothes were so they got all wet The floor in the carpet I should say he still sopping wet and when I went into the office lobby to let him know if we could be moved and he said no and I thought well this is very unprofessional and not only that it's a health violation I'm sure that people would not want me to call the health department into this place So my boyfriend was in the office and Cory was swearing at himBut the biggest The the biggest problem was when we were not here last night our nephew Ashlee came to the lobby and Cory gave him a key not knowing who he was and we been here for almost 2 months he knows who's in his room nobody except for my kids and my boyfriend We could a got robbed if it was just a perfect stranger he would he didn't know my kids could've been in here by themselves and he would've walked in anything could happen and I'm livid over it I feel that something needs to be done about this and I feel I need to be compensated immediately so I don't know how you guys work your complaints out but my phone number is [protected] my name is Michelle Palkovic and I expect a call from you guys immediately

Days Inn Hotel stay

Where should I start? The actual room was quite different from the pictures on the website. It might have looked like that many years ago, but doesn't resemble that now. The door to our room was difficult to open and the dead bolt difficult to lock. Part of the lock on the door was missing so we couldn't lock the door like we would have liked. The shower head was so low that we had to bend to get under it and the water trickled out. The tile in the shower had gaps in it and there was a black moldy line under the soap tray. The sofa only had one spot that you could sit on fairly comfortably as it sloped toward the middle. The curtain didn't cover the window closest to the door especially when the heater would blow and the curtain blew into the room. The room was up a steep staircase with no elevator. We requested a room change but decided to check out completely after an incident at 3:30 am the second morning of our stay, when some drunk person was banging on our door and yelling. This was especially unnerving considering our door lock was broken. As we were checking out I kept stepping on a sticky spot on the carpet.

Days Inn The manager raj patel

Today Christmas eve the manager Raj Patel decided to throw out my special needs son and his wife because of his attitude. Their house burnt last week and they are homeless now they have to leave here for no reason. I demand this man be fired today or as his guardian I will bring legal action along with going to the television news. If he or his wife had broken rules it would be different but they did nothing wrong but have a bad attitude.

Days Inn Charged of cad 197.75 for a already more than two year old broken chair

My husband and two kids attent Hockey tourament at Days Inn Leamington. On Dec 1, 2019, they arrived home Toronto after 4 hours icing driving, we received a bill of CAD 197.75 from Days Inn Leamington for a already more than two year old broken chair. My husband clearly declined this request as it was damaged and in poor condition prior his check-in. The peeling off the leather of the chair happened during the normal use of the chair. This chair is out of use and zero value now. This chair is even not a depriciated asset in its own accounting book. It is treated Zero value after one year use. Now after over two year use, we are charged of CAD 197.75. Our consumer right is delibrately hurt during the process of Days Inn Leamington's recovering CAD 197.75 for a more than two year old chair from us. We spent nealry one hour in phone calls with its senior manager of Days Inn Leamington on duty on the night Dec 1, 2019. Thereafter, the coordinator's CanadianHillcrest AA 2010 made conversations later on the same night. But the management's way of dealing this issue was still out of normal course.

What a good busiess to sell a zero value chair at CAD 197.75!

Days Inn Bed bugs

I checked in days inn hotel on friday november 29 2019 - sunday december 1 2019! I woke up from my sleep because i've been constantly itching. So I turned the lights on and captured 3 bedbugs eating on me. It was a baby bed bug in my pillow I have a picture of it and the other 2 was just crawling on the bed. I have videos and pictures of it one of them I killed on my pillow case and the was blood on my pillow I have a picture of that as well and I have a video of me throwing one away in the toilet. The manager hasn't been here and I keep asking for a manager so I can do a complaint and get a full refund.! The room the bed bugs was in was room number #114 at the bottom.

Days Inn Airport shuttle

We left our car in long term parking to go on vacation out of the New MYS airport. When we returned I contacted the Days Inn to see when the shuttle was going to pick us up. The gentleman on the phone said it would be in the next 10 to 15 minutes because the shuttle was dropping someone off at the airport as we speak and to wait by sections B5 and B6. This was at 4:54 pm. I waited until 5:10 and made another phone call and was told by the same gentleman that she was on her way. Five minutes later I called again and got the same thing. I called five minutes later and the same gentleman told me that she was dropping someone off now and she would be right down. Five minutes later I called the hotel again and spoke to a lady who told me it would be 20 minutes and that is when I got upset because of the gentleman to me that 20 minutes earlier. Five minutes later or 30 minutes in all I talked to the gentleman again and this time he called his driver. She said she was leaving the airport because no one was there to pick up. We had not seen a Days Inn van once and we never left the spot. He said she was going to turn around to pick us up. Five minutes later I call again. He says she should be pulling up right now after he calls her again which went to her voice mail twice before she picked up. 5:45 she pulls up after making eleven phone calls to the Days Inn and speaking to the front desk people. When she did pull up to stop. I walked up to the van to open the door and she started to drive off. I chased after the van until it finally stopped. We got in and she started to drive off when I noticed some people on the sidewalk trying to wave her down. I said something to the woman and she backed up. The other family had a grandmother and a mother with two small children one of them she said was autistic and they were on the same flight we had flown in on. The driver then said something about security was not letting vans in. This was not true because we saw many vans come and go. When we finally arrived at the hotel one of the kids in the car said thank goodness and the driver said she was glad we were here to in kind of a nasty way. It took us an hour to go not even a mile to get to our car. I went into the office to complain. The lady said there was nothing she could do for us. I would never ever park at the Days Inn on Airline dr in Kenner Louisiana

Days Inn Conf # 1476276`

I stayed at this site for Labor Day weekend and the following was broken and not functioning in the room.
Sink was broken and also had the plastic sticking out in it with hair everywhere inside the sink. AC did not work well.
The minute we got to the room the toilet was running nonstop and we let the front desk know of the issues.
That night when we got back to the hotel the toilet of course overflowed and the water ran onto the carpeted area of the room and everywhere in the restroom. There was no maintenance guy onsite so they just sent up a bunch of rags with a employee to throw everywhere on the floor to absorb the water but nothing was done and we also didn't get moved to another room because they were sold out since it was a holiday weekend. I also had no towels in the room that evening and when I went to front desk they said they didn't know what happened and that they were behind in their laundry.
I will be attaching picture's of everything. Also I have contacted BRETT the new GM at this location for the last two weeks daily since 11/04/19 and left numerous messages on his voicemail and also with front desk girl CRYSTAL and it feels like they keep giving me the run around and Crystal keeps making up excuses because Brett does not want to get on the phone and deal with the problems at his property. This is by far the worst customer service. How does a GM not return calls to a customer that has been leaving messages for 2 weeks?

Days Inn Unethical behaviour

I have read the reviews on here and it is too late. If I would have read these, I would never have done business with Days Inn. To give you an idea, my experience is very similar to most. But if you are still deciding, call their Customer Service and pretend you have a serious concern. Their customer service is similar to the toilet paper. Wipe up the SH** and flush it away. You will see what I mean.

Days Inn Terrible and scary hotel, staff and guests!

On Sunday, October 20th, 2019. my wife, Son and I checked into the Days Inn in Bakersfield for a week with two rooms. We booked this reservation online for a business trip/family vacation. We booked what we thought was two rooms with a refrigerator and a microwave for both rooms. When we checked in, there was an ARMED security guard at the front desk and we chatted about our stay. He seemed pleasant enough, but he was a little too demanding when we ask questions. He would answer them when we asked the desk person. When we got to our room, my wife was shocked wit the condition of our room. The floor was wet and sticky from someone spilling a drink (?) on the floor and it was very wet. The microwave was filthy with cooked on splatter on the inside. Most of the lamps did not work either. Very dismal to say the least and NOT what we were led to believe we paid for. Our son's room was even worse. He had no refrigerator or microwave and he needs the refrigerator for medicine. I went to the desk clerk and asked to have his room changed and they did, but the new room did not have a microwave or refrigerator either. The clerk said they would get them the next day. When my son went out to smoke later, he was approached by what he thought was a homeless person begging and making demands for money from my son. My son refused his request and when the security guard saw this he told the guy that my wife and I were staying in the room next to his. My son heard this conversation and could not understand why the guard told the guy this information. The guy left mad at my son and went to his room next to ours. Unaware of this conversation with our son, at 12:53am, my wife and I were in our room asleep and someone starting pounding on our window and walls very loudly. Startled and scared for our lives, we called the front desk 5 different times and got no answer either time. I tried the outside phone number and no answer. I looked the hotel up online and called a 3rd different number and no answer. Terrifies from the continuous pounding and fearing for our lives, I called the Bakersfield Police 911 number. The officer kept me on the line till the patrol officers arrived. They came to our room and I explained what had happened. They checked outside and found nothing. They said the guard was out checking our window and he found nothing so they left. My son came to our room to see what had happened. The guard came to our room and accused me of filing a false police report because "it never happened" and he said he was on the other side of the wall and never heard anything. He then informed me that I had two choices-go back to sleep "cause it never happened" or I could leave. Needless to say, we left immediately. I tried to check out about 15 minutes later and the new night clerk said she could NOT check me out till after 3am. It was only about 1:30am then I asked for something showing our leaving and the guard told her not to give us anything because I had lied to the police and he got between me and the clerk and placed his hand on the pistol. During the time the police were there, he DID NOT HAVE THE PISTOL ON HIS SIDE. Feeling threatened, I decided to just leave because he was very threatening and I did not trust him and feared for the safety of myself, my wife and our son. We found other lodging within an hour and secured those rooms for our trip. The next day, the Days Inn charged my business card for the full amount for both rooms. The next day, there were more charges added, and some dropped. This in effect, took money from my business account and tied it up to where I could not get access to my money to conduct my business in Bakersfield. During the next 10 days, the hotel kept changing the dollar amounts from my account and kept adding new charges. At one time, there was over $1, 300.00 charges and I could not file a claim with the bank because the charges were in the "processing" stage. Once Days In submitted the final bill, then Bank of America could refund what was taken out illegally from my account. My bank found in their preliminary investigation, there were bogus charges on my account and "blocked" any further charges from the hotel, cancelled the card and reissued another card to me. But, the hotel STILL submitted charges AFTER the card was cancelled and they received about $820.00 from my account! They managed to steal this money from my business, scared my 67 year old wife, who has a bad heart, and myself half to death with the crazy guy next door pounding on our window and walls at 1 am in the morning! I have since found out that this hotel is in bankruptcy and the guard and the night female clerk are allowing anyone to stay there if they pay in CASH. You can imagine where the money is going. I have also heard they are doing the same thing charging other unknowing guest to have bogus charges placed on their cards too. As information, I have spent 2 nights per week for over 2 years at this hotel when I worked for Amtrak Railroad. This was our Corporate Lodging hotel and I had never had a problem there until now. They lost the Amtrak contract and they lost a lot of business. This hotel is infested with drug addicts, crazy, mentally ill people, hookers and many homeless people. Not what Wyndham Corporate should allow with their name associated to this dump. This guard is I charge with his threatening, intimidating behavior. If needed, I can request a copy of the Bakersfield Police Report and the hotel receipt from the hotel we stayed during the week to prove we stayed elsewhere during the time period Days Inn charged me for. I am a Wyndham Rewards member and have stayed at many of the hotel brands associated with Wyndham brand. I have NEVER experienced this type of behavior at any of the hotels I have stayed at during my 42+ years on the railroad or the 20+ years traveling for my business. I would like for the Wyndham Corporation to return the bogus charges to me immediately. I would like to ask the Wyndham Corporation to investigate this Days Inn hotel and replace the rogue guard and the female accomplice for their part in this theft of money. Until I hear from the Wyndham Corporation regarding this matter and the return of the money, along with the $70.00 overdraft fees incurred as a result of this theft of my money, I will wait before turning this matter over to the Bakersfield Better Business Bureau and to my Attorney for further actions. Please contact me at [protected] (Office) or on my Cell at [protected]. I will wait for 10 days from today to see how the Wyndham Corporation handles this claim before I proceed further. I will give you the first opportunity to correct this terrible action on a loyal Wyndham Customer.

Days Inn room etc

We stayed in room 140 on 11/2/19. Upon check in there was a roach on the dresser and several dead bugs in room/bathroom. Our TV didn't work, we called the desk and they said they would send someone and never did. Our toilet clogged on Sunday morning and it took nearly two hours to send someone. Totally run down and outdated room and breakfast was horrible!

My son left his wallet in the room and the hotel called us. Upon picking up the wallet, a credit card was missing and cash was taken from the wallet. I called the hotel and asked for the manager to call me back and he never did.

I would never stay in this hotel again. We are very unhappy and would like a refund of our bill for $130.75.

Your location in des moines airport is terrible I called ahead to see if I could check in early was told by manager approval I get there the guy is not so nice takes my I'd and card says hell check me In early for Saturday check out then goes check out is 11 am Friday at that time it was 1AM Friday morning and I got charged double for a stay I never did. I have 2 charges on my account for 95 the guy at the counter claims he refunded me however that's not what my account shows. I asked why he charged me twice he said it was after midnight so he had too. I was not checking in late... wt flip
