threw a bunch of files in the trash and one of them may have been mine. Guess I will find out if someone uses my social security number.

    Forgot to mention that this was my best friend's doc (who performed an experimental procedure on her ankle, btw, promised to fix it if the procedure didn't work, then didn't). Guess I shouldn't be surprised by all of this. Hope her file wasn't one of the ones in the dumpster.={

    Very irresponsible! No regard for patient confidentiality or privacy. Legitimate doctors offices always SHRED files. Luckily an honest person reported it, but what happened to the files after the people who dumped them there in the first place returned to pick them back up? A different dumpster possibly?=/
