Dave & Buster’s The machine that will add credits to your card.

On the night of Feb 5th my son, myself and my sister-in-law went to Dave and Busters late. We got there around 1230am . I was trying to get more credits on my card so I decided to use one of the machines. I picked the $35 one and it asked if I wanted to upgrade for $40 so I can get 250 credits. I picked yes and I put $40 in the machine. It was two $20 bills. I kept sliding the card and nothing happened. The machine went back to the main screen. It was like I was never even there. I quickly got a manager and she came over and showed me the history for a couple of seconds so I couldn't really see it ... She said that wasn't the amount that was put in the machine.there's been a lot of stress and that they would count the money in the morning and if they were $40 over they would call me. Well they had to be $40 over because I put my money in this machine. She took my name and phone number and I never heard back. I also asked her to look at the security video! She said she couldn't. I told her to look at it because she would be able to see me putting the money in the machine! I'm pretty upset because I spend a lot of money in this place and bring friends all the time. Another person who was working in the prize selection area...told me the machines were acting up that night.she said that a few people had had problems with it. There were two machines side by side so it could be possible that I used the other machine however if that machine was $40 over and of course that was probably the one I used. Either way I didn't get a call back and your machine took my money.! The manager that was taking down my name and number seemed very nonchalant and I felt like I was wasting her time. Forty dollars is a lot of money to me ...so I can't just let it go ...this is really messed up! I just want the credits that I bought or the money I'm 57 years old I'm not going to try to scam Dave & Buster's out of $40 worth of credits I certainly wouldn't be wasting my time contacting higher-ups in the company asking them to look at the video if it didn't happen. That machine took my money and I either want the credits or my money back! that is fair demand I think! This crap ruined the rest of our night and it's not our fault!

Dave & Buster’s dave and busters

We routinely spend tons of money like 300/month at D+ B utica mi. They always have happy hour in fact two happy hours/day we just happen to be in Lavonia and decided to go to Dave & Buster's here they did not tell us that they did not have happy hour so we ended up with a 99 dollar bar tab before tip no one bothered to tell us that they didn't have happy hour here until we were cashing out what kind of crap is that? You'll be lucky if you ever get me to send Step in this place again and you have no idea how much good we do here because we win all the time and we give it away to your other patrons to make them want to come back. Make me happy again

We usually go to the Dave & Buster's in Utica Michigan they have two happy hours per day One from 4 to 7 PM and one from 10 until close they did not disclose hear that they do not have a happy hour on Saturday nights Here in Lavonia MI I ended up with $100 bar tab I am not happy about because of their nondisclosure my family routinely spends over $400 a month at Dave & Buster's unless you want to lose my business altogether you'll find a way to make this up to me color me very unhappy

Dave & Buster’s bartender

My family and I sat at the bar and waited for about 10 minutes for someone to come out but that's not even the complaint and I typically don't do complaints but this customer service was beyond disrespectful. When Raquelle (Server 916060) comes to the bar to ask what she wanted her attitude was already nasty. I asked her if they had any frozen drinks and she said that Dave & Busters doesn't have any frozen drinks on the menu. I just went to Dave & Busters in Myrtle Beach so I know that couldn't be true. After I showed her on the drink menu that you do have frozen drinks she makes a drink that is horribly mixed together. I asked for a refund and was told I cannot get a refund but can only get a replacement drink and of course with a attitude. At this time she's standing in my face talking sarcastically about how she can only replace the drink. We asked to see a manager but he was interviewing for jobs and said he would talk to us. He never showed up. I ended up paying for stuff that was thrown together due to the server having a attitude at god knows what. I remained respectful due to my child be around. I love Dave & Busters but unfortunately this experience at your Cary location has rubbed me and my family the wrong way with the hires you have at this location. Does a frozen drink cost the same as a beer? I didn't even get the difference back for that. Beware of that bartender I'm sure I'm not the first and last.

Dave & Buster’s employee harassment

I had a completely horrible experience with my family last night. The service was not only unacceptable but the employees were so unprofessional. Mr. Garland Myers allowed a female employee to put hands on me as I walked through the bar to leave with my kids. She stood in front of me and tried to block me from passing by and began to push me. She kept on provoking me as my family and I were escorted out by security. My experience was completely humiliating and I will NEVER go to that location again! ALSO BEWARE OF A BLONDE BARTENDER GIRL WITH GLASSES AT THE BAR. She places receipts in your drinks while she places them ready to be sent out. Literally INSIDE the beverages! A complete health violation that should be reported to the health dept. ALSO, saw this talk African American male waiter drinking on the job. SO many things to look out for! Absolutely disgusted by these individuals. I WILL be pressing this issue to headquarters!

I am a chauffeur there 2 bus load of people we brought here and I decided to try your chicken salad, first I was not given any dressing for the salad second while eating the salad I came upon old slices of avocado I was not please with the wait time of 30 minutes for the salad and the to find old avocado slices

I chicken on the salad was okay put didn't finish salad after seeing avocados
If the salads pre-prepared then they need to be checked before serving to a customer

Dave & Buster’s food, service and friendliness

I saw a commercial about Dave and Busters on Monday advertising their hot chicken wings. I recently had Breast cancer surgery and I am currently receiving chemotherapy treatments and I thought I will leave my nice warm house and travel to D&Bto get some of those hot chicken wings because they looked so good on the commercial. I drove to Ontario Mills to D&B. I set down at the bar. I waited several minutes for a bartender to take my order. There were 4 bartenders at the bar. Finally a woman came and took my order. It took a while for order to come, when she brought it the celery was wilted, I tried to eat one but I was too soggy. The hot wings were lukewarm and they were not spicy. I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get an extra ranch dressing. My experience was deplorable. I didn't add a tip . I thought D&B was a nice eating place but now I am disappointed with that restaurant. What can you do to regain my confidence in your restaurant?

Dave & Buster’s food

Took a couple of my friends as a surprise for their birthday. We got there and sat down at a booth. Waitress came and got our drink orders and we ordered the nacho appetizer. We sat talking and waiting for the appetizer to come, it took 35 minutes to get our appetizer and when we got it there was a hair in it. We asked the waitress to see the manager, she went to a lady on the other side of the bar and told her, she looked up our way and still stayed there in her phone. She never came to assist us. We had to leave. It was so embarrassing to me, I tried taking friends to my favorite place only to get treated that way. It was very unprofessional.

Dave & Buster’s food service... servers...

I am complaining about my did served to me on 10/26/2019 out took over 30 mins too begging my food after my party had already been seated over an hour. Then when our food was brought out out was cold. Food was returned and set-top not the best. One of the guest had a Caesar salad and the lettuce was old had to return it. Another guest outdated a Tuscan chicken dinner and out to was cold. My son n law ordered a soda it took about 45 mins to bring it out. Servers took a long time to come back and check on us. Therefore I was very disappointed and probably will never return. One other guest had Philly cheese steak sliders which had no cheese and the meat was half gone. The ribs we're cooked over and over again. The long island was watered down. Very dissatisfied tio have a party of 20. I would appreciate if I can get an apology letter or something that will maybe give a better feeling to me and my family.

Dave & Buster’s area manager and hostess

On the 10/22/19. My sister nephew niece and I went to this location to watch the opening season of NBA with the Lakers/ clippers game being the season opener. Game was at 7:30. We arrived at 6:30. Was told it'd be 1 to 1 1/2 hours wait. That's fine. Took my nephew to play games and walked around. At 7:45 I asked the hostess how much longer? She said 30 mins.. at 8:15 went back to ask how much longer? She said 30 minutes. Now I'm getting pretty frustrated that would mean 2 hours and 15 minutes later than what we were told. I was more upset that she didn't even care to explain the hold up. I had a 3 months old and a 7 years old with me. Asked her what the hold up was and she shrugged and rolled her eyes. Asked for the manager and he was standing next to her and she smuggly smiled at me as if she knew he was going to have her back. She was right. He said sorry nothing we can do. You're welcome to leave. We asked for his name and he rolled his eyes and said it's downstairs (name is Pannera Sa and he's the area manager) hostess name is "Justine") as we left he told her " don't worry about them and laughed)

Dave & Buster’s rude/ lazy employee

Hello my name is Erika and I have been a customer for years. I wanted to write this to make a notice and complaint about the employee Daniela. She usually works at the virtual reality game. I have gone to Dave and Buster's located in Dolphin mall twice and it's the same with this employee. She is always on her phone, doesn't clean the 3D glasses how it's supposed to be. She is always distracted and let others pass before others, doesn't even check who goes first in line which it's really disrespectful. She doesn't even check for the safety of riders, just wait for them to do it. This employee never follows the procedures or rules so I decided to call out the manager and spoke about this situation. Worst experience that I ever had. So rude. The 3D glasses are usually dirty and blurry. She doesn't take care of her workspace there was candy on the floor and dirt inside the machine the other day that I went as well. She only sits downs and text all the time. This employee doesn't even deserve to be your employee. I don't even feel like coming back to Dave and busters. I'll just go to another arcade with my whole family instead which we are 14 in total and sometimes we all come to purchase at Dave and busters.

Dave & Buster’s horrible customer service, wings, play cards

Hello, last night (October 20, 2019) my family and I visited the Orange Dave and Busters location. Our server, Priscilla was extremely rude! She came really late to our table (30 minutes) and asked "what do you want" my sister couldn't really hear her because of the loud music and she became annoyed and ended up choosing her wings for her. The dr. Pepper she brought us was watered down, she brought us the wrong wings, and said "it doesn't matter, they're unlimited wings" I accidentally dropped my ranch and cleaned it up as much as I could, I left to clean myself up and came back to my brother telling me how rude, and disrespectful she was because I dropped my ranch. She had an annoyed face the entire time but it's funny how when it came to a table of men she was rubbing their back and super nice. At the end of our visit our bill was was over $260 I ask why since we asked for the 21.99 wings, I spoke to the manager and he said she was "up selling" umm excuse me no! Over $100 in "upselling" after this incident she gave me dirty looks! Deactivated all our cards when her manager specifically told her NOT TO! She was pointing at us and talking about us to her co workers! It was so disrespectful and she later followed me into the game area and asked for her pen! Which I didn't have. This whole experience is was horrible Priscilla is a horrible server/waitress we should get a refund or something for having such horrible service!

Dave & Buster’s record of tickets

For the second time, D&B is ripping me off as for as tickets go. The first time I had 450, 000 tickets that disappeared from my card. We worked that out even though they did everything but call me a liar. This time from the Syracuse D&B, I have 306, 000 tickets. They show that as my balance but as they change cards on me, the total drops to 37, 000. Somehow I'm supposed to come up with an earlier receipt from the St. Louis D&B showing my balance after I haven't been there for months maybe longer or else they don't want to hear my history. The only person who could help me is a manager I no longer see at D&B. He would tell them I always carry that kind of balance on my card.

Dave & Buster’s slow food service

Hi, I'm writing to make it known just how much our event was ruined by the service we received when we visited D&B at Dolphin mall. We had a private event in the entire venue and even though we had purchased game cards to use while there, the fact that we decided to dine before going to the games made it so we couldn't play more than one game all night. Me and my friends sat at a large table in the dining area and we ordered drinks and food. Not only did some orders not even come at all, everyone slowly left because of the slow service so I had to stay and eat by myself.

When I mentioned to my waiter that I needed my check so I can leave and enjoy the games at least a little before the event was over, he explained that they were understaffed because there were only 4 waiters. What I found incredible was that there were only 5 large tables and we hardly ever saw our waiter. If 4 servers can't handle 5 tables they should've been stationed in the dish area, not scheduled for an event that size. We tried asking other employees, even tried paying at the bar, but they all just said "talk to your server" and were of no help.

It was very tempting to just walk out since it was taking so long but we decided to stay, hoping it would soon be over. It wasn't. We were stuck there and it felt like getting 1 plate of food was the worst decision we could have made. Because by the time we paid and left the event was over and the venue was closing soon after. So despite having reserved the venue and purchased the game cards, we never had a chance to use them.

Dave & Buster’s price

Sunday was our first time visiting Dave and Busters. My bf and I took our 2 daughters and their friend who are all 12 and 13 yrs old. My bf asked the girl in the front how it worked for prices and food. She had him under the impression all he had to pay was 27.99 for all of us to eat unlimited wings. She failed to tell him it was per person. Yes it states it on the menu (in very fine print). Our bad not reading it correctly. Our bill was a few bucks shy of $200! My bf asked to speak to the manager and he was a total rude, jerk and a smartass to boot. We will never go there again.

Dave & Buster’s all service

I brought my family to dave and busters at 1230 for lunch and play and watch the game. There was no tables so we let the kids play and we sat at the bar. We was about to order but was moved to a big table then was told we could not order we had to wait until 2pm. We are currently still waiting for service.it is now 234. I asked to talk to a manager about 6 times to five different servers but had to find him myself. His name was Checivs Jackson he was very rude ans unprofessional. He told me we shouldn't of sat there. I explained that we had been waiting for over a hour and half and still had no service after being moved around. This is not how businesses are supposed to be ran. I bring my kids here regularly and i now will have to find somewhere else to take my kids for playtime lunch and games.

Dave & Buster’s staff

Went out for a family night at the local Dave n Buster's. Overheard a bartender, Derek and a server, Amanda making jokes about handicap/disabled people, using racial slurs. The jokes and use of derogatory language was enough that my family and I could not even finish our meal. I also noticed a few other families who noticed and even recorded what they could. It was very upsetting and unacceptable behavior. I enjoy the atmosphere you provide and hope these situations can be resolved for future visits.

Dave & Buster’s family "unfriendly" policy

Dave and Busters "Home of the Cakeless Birthday"

After booking a birthday party by phone for ten participants for September 7th, at 2pm, at the Pelham Manor NY location, we were informed upon arrival that our purchased and theme decorated birthday cake was not allowed. During the two previous phone calls to the location inquiring about their birthday celebration services, we were never informed about the "outside food" policy. A business like Dave and Busters must be very aware that most families would bring birthday cakes for their children's celebrations, so their failure to mention that rule to their customers in advance is obviously deliberate.

Imagine a child's birthday party at a restaurant where hundreds of dollars of food is purchased by several family and friends, arcade games are played, gifts are opened, but there is no birthday cake, candles, or birthday song for the child. Sounds horrible doesn't it? That was the experience at Dave and Busters, not only for our family, but for several others that I witnessed during our four hour stay. We spent over $400.00 in food and games at the location, and no birthday cake. That is a terrible policy that really ruined what should have been a joyous experience.

In fact, most families I witnessed that day, including ours, after spending money, were lowered to taking their children's cakes outside of the entrance or into the parking lot, to sing happy birthday and then suffer the embarrassing and degrading experience of struggling to slice and serve birthday cake, off of a park bench or the hood of their car, in full view of Dave and Busters employees, including the general manager Luis, who was very courteous and apologetic, but could offer no clues as to why this policy exists.

I personally am not aware of this ridiculous policy existing at any other restaurant.

To add insult to injury, the restaurant, after confiscating your cake, doesn't even offer purchasable alternatives, such as their own cakes, only slices of one flavor chocolate cake or brownies.

I will never be returning to Dave and Busters and if they continue this dreadful policy of taking away children's birthday cakes, most of which are excitedly decorated and personally themed with love by parents, hopeful to display them on the table after a birthday meal, I would hope that they work harder to ensure that this awful rule is better communicated to their customers.

Dave & Buster’s overcharged

My husband and I went to Dave and Busters on 08/20/2019. My bill was 58.58 the waitress charged my card 71.07 and than $18. I was told by the manager JT that my money would be refunded the next day. I had to call the store several times and continued to get the run around. It took me over a week to get my money back that was never refunded like I was told. I called corporate to make a complaint and haven't received a phone yet. It's been 3 days!

Me and my daughter went to the Sevierville dave and busters to eat lunch and play games. They were steady but wasn't very busy. We were shown to our table and sat. We waited for almost 20 min and never was greeted by a server. I went to the manager and informed him we were leaving. He said that our waiter had a big party he was tending to. He offered game cards to us which I declined. We our locals and won't be going back. There are to many other great restaurants to go to.

To whom it may concern:
I'm writing just to complain of the food. Very nice place, nice people, but meat undercooked. We ordered a well done burger. It was a little upsetting because we waited 40 minutes for food and received the meat pink. My husband is a stage 4 cancer patient and was unable to eat undercooked meats. He could not eat well. I didn't want to wait another 30 more minutes. I would like to go back and really enjoy a meal with my husband the way is ordered. If you like to contact me back my email is [protected]@aol.com.
