Damro 6 seater bench model dining table

I purchase a bench model 6seater dining table which bench was broken while sitting within one month and after complaining they changed it. Again the second bench was broken now as same while sitting on it. Even after complaining to damro no response now. Such a worst product they have sold for huge price of Rs.35000/- which was not worthy of it. Now when asking for other model bench which is quite solid and also ready to spare the difference but company refused it. So i want this to be spared by company definitely with good one. I need a immediate solution as replacement of bench to my requirement without any conditional.

Damro poor quality and damage 3+2 recliner sofa within a year

We purchased 3+2 seater reclyner sofa for 1Lakh. We informed to damro store/ service desk on sofa damage due to poor and pathetic leather within 6months. But they took for service instead of replace the poor quality item. Again we have observed peeled stiches and tored leather at few places. After frequent complaints, they took for service by assuring(i.e service will be done by use geniune leather material. But even after few months sofa in bad shape. Mean time we asked for replacement by paying extra amount. But they haven't accepted and even failed for proper service.

Damro Cheating customers

Cheating customers on delivery and stock.
Damro furniture’s has done this to several times. First time it was before the wedding, I have purchased a mattress from them and they promised to deliver within 2 weeks, but took 6 weeks and first 2 weeks after marriage I had to sleep on...
Next before move to new house I purchased all the house hold items (Sofa, dining table, Chairs, wardrobe...) every item before purchase I checked for stock and purchased only the items stock available, but unfortunately even after payment settling they did not hold the stock, so when the promised delivery date comes they kept on delaying, I had to stay in a motel for few days due to this reason.

So please consider these facts before you purchase some thing from Damro.

Proofs are available such as billed and delivered dates scan copies with signatures.

Damro KALLAMBALAM branch also doing damn cheating to the customer, as i booked an entire bedroom set for my marriage, and they did not deliver at right time and i adjusted with my old furniture, it was onam holidays, so i couldnt arrange from other shops too. I paid 50, 000 Rupees advance then also they cheated me. Never buy Damro products. My kind advice.

Damro Selling of Substandard, Unsafe Product

Despite selling Substandard, Unsafe Products, Damro had resorted flat out lieing and misleading customers in order to stop honouring the guarantee.

I purchased a PIYESTRA chair for around SL Rupees 700. The rear legs broke after only 3 hours of usage. When I wanted to pay an additional amount ans exchange it to another chair that looked sturdier, they refused and replaced the chair after much haggling.

After that I didn't use the chair because it was unsafe and I was out of the country.

Upon my return I used the chair for a few hours and again it broke from the 2 rear legs. Since it was still under warranty and I had the receipt, I took the chair for a replacement but to my dismay found that PIYESTR had closed the Negombo showroom. Upon inquiry from the adjoining bank, I discoverd that the people who worked for Piyestra had been sent to Damro, and that both brands are owned by the same group of companies.

When I visited Damro showroom in Negombo and spoke to the Manager, he denied any knowledge of the affiliation between Damro and Piyestra and refused to replace the broken chair, which was under warranty.

Upon some investigation online, I discovered that both companies are owned by the same group of companies. It is shameful how the Manager flat out lied to get off from replacing a broken chair under warranty.

These are not safe chairs in the first place. I recommend that buyers beware of Damro's lieing tactics to avoid replacing a less than $7 plastic chair.

So what your saying is that you brought a chair from one company - it broke so you took it to a completley DIFFERENT company, different company name, store and private owner and they said they wouldnt replace it? really, seems odd...

Even if the company was purchased by another group the original warranty and contacts should still be held up but not from a random store that you walk into, contact a head office or the original company's head office.

Complaints like this are really sad, misleading and downright laughable. You are the sort of company most people would prefer not to sell to, im sure they can live without your $7 and the headache's you cause.
