Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how Dairy Queen handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with Dairy Queen and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

Dairy Queen slow service in a long line

We tried again going to this dairy queen after trying it a few weeks ago. Again we waited in line for over 30 mins then with 9 cars behind us I gave the cashier my debit card and low and behold had to show my drivers license and sign for this $5.11 purchase. Number 1 is this store in the dark ages? Everyone uses a debit card and the purchase is approved or disapproved so why is it necessary to take the time for a signature? I asked the cashier why it was necessary for a signature when you can go to a grocery store and never sign for your purchase unless its over $50 she was very non-customer friendly... No wonder the wait is so long everyone working there was running in circles and not accomplishing getting peoples orders. Very poorly managed!
We have used the dairy queen in omaha and never have had to sign after using our debit card?

I do agree it's a little absurd to have to sign for that purchase. One thing you do have to understand though it Dairy Queen is not Mc Donalds where you get fast low quailty food. Everything is made right when you order it at DQ! I'd take quailty over speed any day=)

Dairy Queen mushroom swiss burger

6/26/09 Ordered a Mushroom Swiss burger Solo. They did ask me, did I want "extra mushrooms?", I said, I want your Mushroom Swiss Burger (solo) as opposed to a meal deal. I got my burger and left, then, and only then did I understand why she apparently asked me if I wanted "extra mushrooms?" The burger was fine, the Swiss cheese was fine, the bn had no dressings except on one side was about a TABLESPOON of what appeared to be a Glop of Campbells Mushroom soup mix, literally a gray glop with a couple of miniture pieces of mushroom! That is apparently their concept of a mushroom swiss burger, no joke. A doggone Gray GLOP of mushroom soup, like what you see in a Campbell's soup can of Mushroom soup. It was gross simpson Avenue in Aberdeen Dairy Queen. I've been to Dairy Queen's before, I've never had this sort of thing occur.

well why would you want to keep it? I mean, if you want to keep it as evidence then that's fine, but why ask for a refund then?

Dairy Queen no hand washing before preparing food

Today may 27 2009 At the DQ (Dairy Queen) in Perth Ontario, Canada.
My guests and I had the unpleasant experience of having a food preparer prepare our hot dogs with out first washing her hands after handling cash at the register. As she was preparing our food we mentioned the non had washing and was curtly ignored. Her attitude went from consumer friendly to consumer acidic and we were given the impression that they did not care and were not concerned with our opinions about personal cleanliness while handling foods. We promptly canceled our orders and went to the Wendy's Restaurant down the road for out treats instead. I will be thinking twice about going to this DQ again.

Aside from personal parts in a public washroom, money is the next dirtiest thing that one can handle in a restaurant and has been tested and found to have fecal matter on it among other things at any given moment. Next to not washing your hands the handling of money is the next biggest culprit for passing germs and disease between people in our society. Furthermore;

I personally do not mind if food preparers at restaurants have touched my food before I have to eat it, as long as they have washed their hands before said preparation of foods begins. This simple process of cleanliness should be second nature to people who handle food for a living, and when it is not it may indeed be a direct reflection of the poor quality of service one can expect from a restaurant that does not train their employees to comply with basic food preparation and health standards. Those little plastic gloves are the worst idea ever in fast food chains. Once an employee puts them on they think they can touch everything with them on. Take notice next time you have a sandwich made how many things are touched when a food preparer is wearing a pair of said gloves. Makes you not want to eat any food anywhere at any time. In my opinion Hand Washing is the best practice, this way at least you can be some what assured that germs and dirt are not being transfer to your food on a regular basis.

I understand that money is really dirty, but i think when you go to a fast food restaurant you have have much lower expectations. At places where food is dirt cheap and the employees get paid minimum wage, i think your expectations are way too high. I work at a fast food restaurant. We are required to wash our hands when we arrive and after using the restroom or dealing with trash but that's it. We constantly go back and forth between taking orders/money and making food. Especially during rushes when we deal with impatient customers, doing this could mean washing hands more than five times in ten minutes, which would take time and make customers angry.

Dairy Queen got sick from undercooked food

I spent and entire day in the bathroom throwing up yesterday after I even sent my food back the 1st time for being under cooked. They got the order wrong to begin with and kept trying to give me an ice cream cone instead ot the oniion rings I ordered. The fries still came out undercooked and I spent the day at work running to bathroom as I am today but just because what ever I got from this food is working it's way through my system. I have vowed never to go into a dairy queen again... Now I know why the one in apollo beach, FL closed..

Dairy Queen bad management & service

What terrible service and image of the great dairy queen and our town is stuck with it.. our other towns within a hour away have great dq's... and service. beaver dam's dq however is terrible.. short hours.. when waiting in line — oh it is 9:pm we are closing sorry..
Or the other nite at 8:30pm — oh sorry we ran out of ice cream. — drove everyone away.. drive up closed often and just very bad representation of the dq's anywhere & we are stuck with it... oh drive 40 minutes to fond du lac and have great little place and personal as well... open until 10:pm + if we are waiting in line - that goes for sun prairie too...

On Aug 4, 2009 I went to our local Dairy Queen store in ROLLA, MO to purchase an ice cake for a birthday. When I got home I served the cake to three other people and we all noticed that the cake tasted funny. I have bought several ice cream cakes before and they have always been delicious. This one just tasted like something I have never tasted before. I then called the store and spoke with the owner MARGO CREMER. I nicely explained to her the taste of the cake, she then preceeded to tell me, "Honey, Ill be the judge of that." I am 46 years old and work in the customer service field and was shocked that the owner and your representive of a DQ was so rude and spoke so childish. I then went to the store with my reiciept and the cake. She then walked passed me and preceded to come back and snatch the cake out of my hands. Took the cake onto the counter in front of several customers and became very upset and told me there was nothing wrong with that cake and it was fine, after she took a very small sample from the side of cake. Margo Cremer was excessively loud, rude, and very uprofessional. Dairy Queen in ROLLA, MO just lost alot of customers due to her poor profeesionalism as a business owner.

I take my 2 grandchildren every Sunday after church to Dairy Queen for Sundaes. I have for about 6 months now. Today we did the usual, only this time about half way thru a sundae my grandaughter took a bite and ended up with a dead beetle in the middle of her ice cream. I went in to speak to a manager. One of the crew members took the sundae to the back. She returned and said it must have flown in thru a window in my car. First off my windows were up and second the beetle was dead soaked in ice cream. We only had the sundaes a few mins. it was less then half eaten. They did offer a refund or new sundae! A new sundae knowing that their ice cream had a dead bug in it! What ever happen to hygene? Instead of getting upset I am posting this... I will not eat there again as much as I love their food! Dairy Queen bad attitude

Dairy Queen located at 2019 Pepperell Parkway in Opelika, Alabama 36801 I have gone to this particular Dairy Queen approximately 7 or eight times. Every time I have been in there the people who take orders do not smile and they behave as if they would rather be anywhere than there working a job. I have gone through the drive through on three occasions when there was no one eating inside the restaurant and absolutely no cars in the drive through lane yet the person on the intercom would immediately say "hold please" and not get back to me for a few minutes. I have talked with many other people where I work who all say they have the same problem at that Dairy Queen and that the people who work there are snotty and rude.

I had out of state company on December 19, 2004 and they all wanted to get come ice cream in the evening. We went to Dairy Queen. Two of us wanted a Hot Fudge Sundae with bananas and the waitress said they don't have that. I asked if they had any bananas and they did. The waitress said they can't put bananas on Hot Fudge Sundaes because the owner-manager won't let them. I told her I would gladly pay for the banana that went on it and she still said she couldn't make them that way. I asked her if she would sell me a banana so I could put it on there myself and she said she couldn't do that. The two of us who wanted the Hot Fudge Sundae with bananas ordered a banana split with all hot fudge on them even though it was more than we wanted to eat. Then the waitress said they were out of nuts and whipped cream but they charged the same price as if the toppings were on there. The waitress was very rude during the whole encounter.

I know that all Dairy Queen's are not run in this manner because my Son and Daughter-in-law said the Dairy Queen in Auburn, Indiana would make them a certain sundae that they didn't have up there, but that they used to get here in Opelika, AL. She said they asked how it was made and even what price they charged so that they could make it for them.

This Dairy Queen is a disgrace to this area, who is trying to promote good will and growth.

Dairy Queen assistant manager talking

I recently quit my job as manager for very personal reasons and i am now getting phone calls about the new assistant manager. These calls are not only from friends but also from loyal customers that tell me that this woman is bad trashing my name. We live in a small town everyone knows everyone and my customers will always be important and I dont appreciate this kind of name trashing not only for myself or for my husband. I will notify the cooperate office and also the new manager in charge. I have no regrets and I also hold no hard feelings to the new manager. But when it comes down to my getting phone calls from customers then there is something with the management. I appreciate everything that Jane and Wade did for me and my husband.

[protected] around 2 P.M. I visited as a daily customer and was watching as they were having trouble with the ice cream machine nearly the same time, right after i got my ice cream, i went and seated myself to a table to enjoy my desert and saw a girl with long black hair running to the front of the building look like she was in her mid 40s screaming for someone to go and smash a big cockroach meanwhile she was cursing at one of her co-workers because they wouldn't do it for her. Every worker looked like they were on drugs and it smelled the marijuana from the workers walking to take my order. I would very much appreciate it if these problems would be taken care of and everyone be drug tested for the safety of your future customers.

We went to Dairy Queen ordered our food and was first overcharged then the cashier did not have the change fund to give me the change back so I gave her the coins and expected her to know to give me back the bill, but she couldn't because she could not count the money from what she had in her hand and what was on the register. This is not an a one time happening at this location I have been overcharged and shorted change on a average of every second to third time I visit this store. When called on this they throw a fit and act like I am a pariah on society. Too bad for them I am a
business owner in the area and have lots of contacts myself and the word will get out to watch your money or try the other location in Austell or at Avenue West. The main problem is this was a family member of the owner not a regular employee who would have been fired for lack of knowledge. Oh well family comes first I hope they remember that when the bills come due.

Two of us went to the Dairy Queen located on Valley Blvd. in Bloomington, CA. We placed a simple order of a Chicken Salad and a Cheeseburger and fries. 15 minutes later we noticed they were serving numbers past ours. We inquired and they told us our order was not ready yet because a salad takes a long to to prepare .

Hmmm.. let's see, lettuce, tomato, some cheese and chicken! They brought us our order about 5 minutes later. Instead of a bowl that the salad comes in they had ripped off the top of a box and put it in there. This made it very difficult to eat and I had to throw the remainder of my salad away because it couldn't be transported in a leaking box! The cashier said she would inform the manager of our 20 minute wait, but the manager didn't even have the decency to come out and appologize. I will never frequent this place again and probably never go to another Dairy Queen again. I find Sonic as good, and their ice cream is better.

While visiting the Dairy Queen in Wellston, Ohio on 08-18-08, they were out of vanilla ice cream. I don't know for how long they had been out. I can't imagine running out of ice cream at a Dairy Queen. This store also has the dirtiest windows I have ever seen in a food business. This is a constant problem. The employees also don't have sanitary
habits. On this date. I don't think they even knew we were in and out after reading the sign stating they were out of vanilla ice cream. We won't eat any food products at this Dairy Queen, because of the problems mentioned. We have always liked the Dairy Queen products and this is the closest one to us.

I have been a customer at this Dairy Queen for several years. My family and I have been coming in at least twice a week to have dinner. We are always happy about how we are treated and are service is normally great. But for about the past month I have realized that we have been have been waiting a few minutes long and the employees don't seem as respectful as before. I understand that you have had a quite change of employees for the past few weeks, but that is none of my concern. I am writing to you about a certain individual. I believe that she is a manager and to my knowledge she has not been there very long. She seems to be the manager working everytime my family and I come in, but I realized that she really doesn't help out her co-workers. To me this is a concern because I do come in very often and I believe there should be something done about this. Usually when we come in your crew is rather busy but I don't mind the wait. This certain person is always walking around and seems to do nothing! I notice this everytime I come in. The last time I was in the restaurant she was asked by a few coworkers for help and she would say okay and just walk away. As a manager she should be as helpful as possible with whatever she can do. Instead She gives then attitude and seems very rude. I have been in your restaurant very frequently lately and I have not once seen her take someones order or make it. One incident when I came in one afternoon her and another manager I suppose, took an employee away to talk to her and they were telling this employee how she wasn't doing anything right and she was to slow. I understand that there is a point when to say something and when to put someone down. When I come in I observe, and I have figured out this managers name is Cher. I believe that this woman should be talked to. I believe that some changes should be made with the way your employees treat each other. I understand that sometimes I could come in on a bad day but everyone should be treated with some respect. As I said my family and I are loyal customers at your store and there should be no reason for us to not come back.

At approximately 12:55 p.m. after church service, I went to the loction noted above and ordered a large caramel malt with no milk added. The worker completed the order and then informed the male manager that she had done so and discribed the order. Immediately, the manager became upset and expressed himself in an angry tone and instructed the worker to discard the malt and start over making the new one with milk. As the worker explained once more that I did not want milk, the manager stated, "I don't care, make it with milk". I observed this discussion and it did not conclude until I tapped on the window, advised that I could here the discussion, and requested that the order be canceled and my money be returned. I did not understand the manager's level of upset. I am certain the the amount of icecream served fot the malt is the same with or without milk. It was distrubing to observe his behavior and tone.

I ordered two small blizzards. They are currently advertising a special where the second blizzard equal or smaller size is $0.99. I pull up to the drive thru window and they only charged me for one. I then tell the gentleman that I ordered two he then charges my credit card for the second one. I check my receipt and he charges the second one at full price without even telling me. I then explain to him that the second blizzard is only suppose to be $0.99 and he tells me there is nothing he can do but leave a note for the day shift manager. I told him it was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak with a manager. He tells me he is the manager on duty. How can a manager not be trained to fully operate his/her shift?

On July27, my mother-in-law, a friend and I were traveling and stopped at the Dairy Queen in Town Creek, Al. The employees acted as though they didn't want to wait on us and they were in no hurry to get the orders out. There was one out front and two in the back and they all acted as though they had other things to do, like talking! They just stopped what they were doing and starting talking to each other. I was not the only unhappy customer. My friend got her order and was almost done with it before we got ours. Will never stop there again!

I was making a complaint without being rude and was getting a refund for a last perchas I had made. The manager kept trying to make excuses for the mistake that had happened and well i'm five months pregnant and I cannot get upset so I kept saying I didn't want to hear it. And that igt was ok and that I didn't care anymore and when I was about to drive off the manager yells to me fatass. I need help I want to know what can be done and I want that manager to understand that if she is working in a public place where she treats customers she should not speak like that.

I had ordered some food through the drive thru, and a young lady had taken my order. She was a bit snippy that I had taken a while to order, and seemed upset with me. She handed me my ice cream like she was shoving it into my face and had a sarcastic tone to everything she said to me. I asked her for some napkins and she gave me a huge stack, most likely to shut me up. I told her I didn't need that many and she scoffed after she closed the window.I would expect a little more cordial response, because I am a customer. I was not rude to her, nor did I make her job any harder, her job is to serve me. Also, the ice cream, which I ordered a peanut butter cup blizzard, had almost NO CANDY in it. All in all, her demeanor was unpleasant therefore making me have an unpleasant day. I don't think I'll be visiting this Dairy Queen again.
Thank you for your time.

Dairy Queen rudeness of establishment

The following a copy of the letter I have forwarded to dairy queen's Corporate Office as well as the Owner and District Manager for our area.

Tonight my fiancee and I visited the location located on College Ave. in Normal, IL. We went through the drive through and requested the 4 for $5.00 deal with 2 hot dogs, a strawberry sunday, onion rings. We also added a chicken wrap and a butterfinger blizzard extra. When we arrived at the pickup window, the associate handed us our bag. We noticed that there were no hotdogs included in the bag. When we questioned this, the associate was very rude and called over another associate who called us liers and told us that we never ordered any hotdogs. At this point I asked her to call her manager. She refused to at first and told us that we didn't pay for any hot dogs and that we were not going to get them at all. Again I asked the associate for a manager and she refused. She once again started arguing and at that point I stopped her and said, I asked you for a manager, not an excuse from you now get me your manager.

Finally about 3 minutes later a manager came to the window. I explained to her that I am not questioning if I was charged or not, but I told her that I had a problem 1. with the fact that I was refused a manager when I requested one, and 2. that the associates at her establishment were not accurate and I asked if it was their policy to argue about the accuracy or their order taking. At this point she got very rude with me and told me that we would have to pull back around the building. I told her that it was not our fault that her staff couldn't complete an accurate order and that I should not have to waste my time going to the back of the line for them to correct a mistake that they made. She then told me that she would bring the hotdogs to our car...in 3-5 minutes. Also she was going to make us still drive around, or come inside to have my card charged a 2nd time. This is the worst customer service I have ever receieved and I was very offended when the manager came to the window and started yelling at us when we didn't do anything at all. It made me even more upset when she tried making excuses about the lack of competence in her establishment by blameing it on the fact that she had 3 new people and that she had people call in because of the weather (which it was 60 degrees out and sunny this afternoon). I at this point requested a refund which was refused to me.

Again, it's not my fault that they couldn't provide the training necessary to run (might I add) a very very easy job.

I am requesting that my charge be removed from my card and that this establishment be re-trained to provide better customer service to us. My fiancee was in tears because of how poorly we were treated and we will not be returning to ANY dairy queens again.

I expect a response if you truely care about your customers.

Mr. Stewart,
I work at said Dairy Queen, and we haven't had a female manager at the location for almost two years. I would hope you would reconsider visiting our location and giving us another try. I feel we now have highly trained employees and easy to work with managers that would properly serve you. Just a thought.

Your "not another sour one" comment was unnecessary. Of course they aren't going to give you another sour one, they found the problem.

Dairy Queen poor customer service/incomplete preparation of food ordered

On 3/8/09 I visited the DQ on Airline Dr in Bossier City LA with my daughter and 3 grandchildren. There were no other customers in the restaurant when we arrived and ordered. Order consisted of 2 kids meals, 2 steakfinger baskets and 1 shrimp basket & large order of onion rings. After paying $32.00 for our order we sat down to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait some more to a total of 35 minutes. In the meantime 2 other customers came inside, ordered and received their orders to eat in. After inquiring twice our order finally came up minus the large onion rings, with no gravy in the steak finger baskets and missing the texas toast for each basket. The kids meal with the cheeseburger had meat pattie that was totally charred. When I complained about the charred meat patty and missing gravy and toast I was told that they would get another patty and take care of the missing basket items. After another 23 minute wait the new cheeseburger was brought to our table. No gravy or texas toast came to the table. When I asked to speak to the manager I waited another 15 minutes until he arrived at our table. At this time he told me the gravy machine was down so there would not be any to go with our steak baskets and he was out of texas toast & could offer us a toasted bun bottom. When I asked him why we were not told the item would be missing at the time we ordered he had no answer except that there had been a shift change and he had just come in and did not know any answers to my questions. He then offered to discount any treat we would like to order. At this point, me being the very livid and unhappy customer I told him I thought that since I had paid $32.00 for food orders for my family and did not receive even 1/2 of the order correct he sould give us a free treat. After he went back behind the counter and mulled the suggestion I had made he finally gave us 1 small dipped cone, 1 reg. cone and a small oreo mint blizzard. This DQ has just done a major inside and outside updating to the facade. They are in serious need of employee and management updating or all of the updating will have been in vain. I have lived in Bossier City 23 years and before now have loved going to DQ even tho there were some service and cleanliness problems during the years at this particular DQ and the employees changed it seemed too often. Most of the time at least they tried to be friendly and assert any problem they thought needed to be addressed. The crew that is in charge currently do not know how to deal with customers or care to take the initiative to make a customer satisfied. The public is very important to DQ at this time in the current economic state of our country. Someone in management needs to address the situation at this particular DQ or the customers will take their business elsewhere.

Dairy Queen - sex at work

Why is it that alot of people are getting fired from smith dairy queens in texas, but when it comes to complaining about two employees (one is a shift leader!) having sex in the restrooms, behind the dumpster in the storage building, wherever.. no one really listens?? I have to say I work there, and i'm sick of this situation and so is everyone else that...

Dairy Queen metal in ice cream

I purchased a blizzard for my son and once we got home, he bit into something very hard. There was a peice of metal off of the shelving inside his icecream. Luckily he was not hurt, but this could have been a deadly mistake. How can an employee be so careless. After returning to the store with the metal, I was refunded my money. Wow. My son could have choked or been severly injured and the manager gave me my three dollars back. How thoughtful of him.
PLEASE BEWARE. Someone may choke next time. I will never return to any Dairy Queen again.

Anything could get metal in it. The blizzards are mixed with metal machines. Yes, it could have been dangerous but it's not anyone's fault...

Dairy Queen blames customer for their mistakes

I called in to order a cheesecake blizzard cake for a birthday. Thinking everything was good we cut into it and it's their nasty basic chocolate cake. I called them to see what happened and to get it fixed and they consistently sd that I didn't specify I wanted the cheesecake cake. When I called I told the 1st person on the phone that I wanted to order a cheesecake cake then I guess they gave the phone to someone else to complete my order. I don't know how I was supposed to know this. So because of there laziness and lack of communication they just ordered me what they wanted me to eat. So I have this cake that we don't want. I called the manager and she kept blaming me for it saying I should of specified, which I did, what cake and it's my fault. The only way they will give me a refund is if I have the whole cake to bring back. I told her I do have a child and she expected after happy birthday to eat a piece of her daddys cake so she ate a piece, but the rest of it is there. She sd she wouldn't give me a refund since it's been cut even once, I guess they just resell the old cakes that people brought back, and how was I supposed to know I have the wrong cake w/out cutting into it. The "owner" kept argueing w/ me like a child, going huhhhhhh and blaming me for the whole situation. She obviously don't care about her business and her customers. This is the 1st time I bought a DQ cake and the last. Probably even the last time I eat at any location. Myself working in customer service I couldn't believe how she was treating me. It's like she wants her business to go down and if I was Dairy Queen I would NOT let her be an example of my business.

This is absolutely horrible! I can't believe she wouldn't give you a refund! But please, don't blame all DQ stores. The store I work at would have fixed it. That has actually happened before and it was fixed. So give DQ in general another chance.

My god. As I have said many times, each DQ is individually owned/operated. They can do whatever they want as far as customer service goes. Why would you not ever eat at any DQ because of this. Dont blame all of them because of what this one does.

Dairy Queen closed during business hours for time longer than stated on note.

It was 7:55 pm Tuesday evening 11/11/08. Sign on door stating "Will be back in 10 minutes." I waited for 15 Minutes and no one came back at the time that was stated. Door was locked and all the lights were on in the store. Left the property and returned home.
I don't think the store should have been left without an attendant there.

Portion size was extremely small. Wanted to file a complaint with the manager, but the only people running the store were two very young teenage boys. I feel like I got robbed.

Service is awful. DQ did not have any oreos bananas or ice cream to make our blizzards. Is not a warm welcoming environment and I am upset at the time we had to wait for half filled blizzards .

Tonight I drove to the Dairy Queen on Montgomery St. in Ft. Worth, TX., I arrived right at 9:52 and tried to place my order in the speaker outside but before I could say anything a recorder came on stating that the Dairy Queen was already closed. I looked in the window and saw a staff of people still in the building. This makes the second time this has happened where they close 10 to 20 minutes early. I go to this Dairy Queen at least twice a week and drive from across town to get there, I am thinking of going to another location now. This was tonight May 21, 2015. :-(

The hotdogs ARE microwaved. Just letting that be known. The chili, I'm not so sure as that is done in the morning and I don't work morning shift.

I would like something done about our dirty DQ in Rosemount, MN. I can no longer go there because it looks dirty and the staff if poorly trained on hygiene. It is a disgrace. I don't recall it being like that in the past.

Dairy Queen rude employees and wrong orders

Almost every time my husband and I visit this establishment, we get rude employees and the wrong order. Most of the time when we go there, the employees are talking amongst themselves or their friends outside the window that is not taking customers orders. One day when I went there, there were four employess talking to each other, not paying attention that there were customers at the window waiting to place orders. One of the employees looked at me then turned away to finish her conversation . So I finally said " excuse me, does anybody work here?" She finally said 'what do you want" with an attitude. I gave her my order and when I got home, once again, it was wrong. There is also a very tall, brunette female employee that works there that is constantly rude to my husband. He went there last night to order our usual, and he noticed that she didn't put the nuts in the Blizzard that he asked for and made mention of that and she said "I know what I am doing" and dumped a scoopfull of nuts on the top of it, not mixed in it like normal. And when he was given the sundae he ordered, he said to her, I ordered a large sundae and this looks smaller than the small I usually order, and she said "I know how to make them and this is all your getting". The icecream didn't even fill 3 quarters of the cup. She has been so rude to my husband so often that if she is the next employee to fill an order he will tell the next person in line to go ahead of him so he doesn't have to be waited on by her. Unfortunately when he went there last night, there were no other customers behind him and she was the one who waited on him. He was so upset by her once again, he said that he will never go there again. I have tried calling the store quite a few times to complain, but am always told that there is no manager there to speak to me. How sad it is that with employees like these, it is driving the customers away. Pretty soon there will be no customers for those rude employees to be waiting on. If I treated the customers where I work, half as bad as the treatment we get from there, I would be fired in a heartbeat. I feel like I can't get any satisfaction from my complaint because I can never get ahold of the manager. I just wish I could get the owners name and number so I could complain to that person. I wonder how many other customers they have lost because of their employees. No more customer loyalty here, I am taking my business elsewhere. Love the ice cream, hate the so called "customer service".

I agree that they should just remake it if they made it wrong, but realize EVERYONE makes mistakes. Just cause they work at Dq doesnt mean they will do everything perfect everytime. Take under consideration how many costumers a day and how long they work.

Dairy Queen employees try there hardest you get very busy at times, but the dairy queen i work at has few complaints. I think that it might just be the location you are from, but here we are very polite and will do anything to make the customer happy. I am extremly sorry that one of our dairy queen employees had the nerve to treat you like that.

Dairy Queen bad service/bad food quality

I stop at this Dairy Queen at the Antioch Hickory Hollow Mall I had just finish watching a movie and was somewhat hungry and decidie on Dairy Queen since it had a small chicken wrap which I felt it would satisfy my hunger till I got home. It was late so the Mall and the Food Court was not busy at all.

I approach the counter and to my right was a young kid (who work there) having a conversation with two young ladies it look at if they knew each other maybe from school or he was just accepting there flirts, But he was very attentive to them and did not ackowledge my presence. There was an 0lder boy working the register and to my Left there was an even older young man sitting on top of the counter chating with a male friend. Fianally the cashier ask me what I wanted to order, I decide on the griiled chicken wrap and a small coke. He charge my card for the order $2.93 and gave me the small drink. He went ahead and took another order from a young lady and started to make her ice cream orders.

Meantime I don't see anyone back in the kitchen and the young boy to my right was just chating away with the two females, and the other guy continue on top of the counter talking to his friend.

Finally he gets off the counter and started to look at the screen and sees my order was taken 6 mins ago.

Starts to scoll at them and tells the boy talking to the girls to get his but back there and make the chicken warp. This young man had been talking touching and for my taste needed to go wash his hands before making my chicken wrap and even put on some plastic gloves.

But he did not do that he grab a tortilla no heating it up whatsover it was cold as a turkey grab my chicken with his hands and then the cheese and lettuce rolled it up and this is how I was served a Dairy Queen Chicken wrap.

This has been the worst customer service and the hygine used to make this food was at the worst I have ever seen. With disbelief I Step away form the store counter and with in 2 feet there was a trash can where i proceeded to dispose of this chicken wrap there was no way I was going to consume that into my body.

The store #18396 the time of the incident according to my receipt was 20:45 9/20/08

I will never eat from a Dairy Queen ever again.
