It's recently come to my attention by way of social media that a disabled Vet was asked to leave the Romney DQ because he had his "service dog" with him, who was wearing a "service vest" at the time. According to the post made, this happened on Monday 11/4/2019 at approximately 11:00 am. The Veteran pointed out to the employee (who was suspected to possibly be the owner/manager), Federal Law allows him to have his service animal with him. It was at this time the Vet was told "that was not the policy of his restaurant" and he was forced to leave.

Romney isn't just home to many U.S. Veterans, my husband being one himself, but it's also home of the W.V. Deaf & Blind School. There are many disabled people in our community, including my own son, who also has a service dog due to a duel diagnosis of (non-verbal) Down Syndrome & Autism. As a member of the Romney community I'm absolutely appalled by the shameful and ignorant behavior of this employee, especially if it's the owner/manager. Someone in a position of authority should know better than to treat a customer in such a way. If this is how our U.S. Veterans are treated, I can only imagine how one of the disabled civilians would be treated if they were to enter with a service animal.

I'm not sure how this can be made right, but I will tell you by reading both the comments on the original post and on the Romney DQ FB page, this has reached across many states and people are infuriated that someone who put their life on the line for our country would be treated in such a way. I do hope this will raise awareness and be remedied as in our small community this message is spreading fast not just thru social media but also by word-of-mouth.

Thank you for your time. I realize Romney DQ does not represent all Dairy Queens. We love family time at Dairy Queen but until this has been addressed I'm sad to say we won't be taking our son to Romney DQ for his ice-cream.

Very unprofessional. Managers customer service sucks . They need classes on how to treat customers. Restaurant need a closer look at it . I could never go back to that particular store . The one on 10th street is ok, I will start taking my family there . It's sad when you have to travel extra miles just to go to another one of your stores, and there is on right by your house. But the customer service is so [censored]ty it's ridiculous.

we went to the Dairy Queen in Euless a little after 5pm on 10/22 - ordered 10 tacos - 5 with no tomatoes. We received our food drove 8 minutes to our home and the tacos are Cold. The meat is not even room temperature - feels like it just came out of the refrigerator and bad lettuce. Two shells broken and one had been dumped into the box and had no filling in it. I have tried to call multiple times, but getting a busy signal, like the phone is off the hook. I have provided a picture of the lettuce. Extremely disappointed - I really like Dairy Queen, but this experience has really upset me. Would either like my money back $10.38 (she did not give me a receipt and I paid cash) or a coupon to try and see if we can get hot food next time. Thank you, Trisha Hunt [protected]

I had ordered a cake from DQ in Spencer, WV. And was very annoyed at this cake. I simply asked to write Happy 1st Birthday Autumn with Minnie Mouse in the middle. They had told us that their projector wasn't working at the time, which was fine because they said they'd free hand it. When picking up the cake, we were rudely told that nobody could draw Minnie Mouse on the cake, and the cake looked terrible part of the cookie was still showing from where they didn't put enough icing on it, the cake just looked terrible over all! I feel that if something should be done about this! I'll never recommend anyone to this Dairy Queen again. Very very disappointed!

More whip cream than ice cream. Not enough ice cream to touch bottom of container. If I can find a way to attach picture I will.
This is the Wilmington Ohio store. 2:30 in the afternoon on Saturday. Not busy, apparently for good reason. The staff was unapologetic and considered this the standard.

We get dq once a week just my wife and I . Tonight was 47$ . As usual. I always get a triple flamethrower and large poutine . The wax paper the poutine come on always rips and gets soggy and I either have to eat the paper or throw half the cheese away . Between the paper, the fry basket and the box there is enough packaging so maybe do away or get better parchment. Thanks for listening:)

Went to the New Kensington, PA Dairy Queen on Saturday Oct 5, 2019 at 7 30-7 45. The young lady that waited on us did not flip my large blizzard over at the window. Took it upon herself to put a lid on it and the large Strawberry Sundae that was also ordered. We didn't want lids. We wanted to eat it in the car. She was rude and didn't even offer us our receipt. I wanted my boyfriend to beep the horn to get her attention but he sped off instead. We go to this Dairy Queen once a week and have never had this happen.

I never write reviews but today is that day. I called to have a cake made for my sons 2nd Birthday and got absolute garbage first off it was not ready when it was stated it would be. So they rushed to put something together as if I would not know. But the worst part once we got the cake home and was ready to eat there was hair everywhere inside the icing. F****** really! And I payed $30 dollars for the stupid thing so straight to the trash that went. Unbelievable!

I attached my receipt for you to view. This Dairy Queen is the only one in town, yet only has one cook in the back and is mostly busy. Today I went at 1:29pm (few customers were there), I ordered in the drive thru speaker, paid at the driveup window and was asked to park in the front. I asked the clerk not to forget about me because the last time I was made to wait in the front, I had to get off and get the food after waiting so long. Well, it happened again. I sat there in my car waiting for my food that never came. I waited unti 1:45 pm. and decided to get off and go into the restaurant. When I approached the counter, my meal had not even been close to being made. I still had to wait there at the counter while it was being made.

I finally received my order and went back to my work where I shared my experiences with my co-workers. This establishment could be run a lot better if they at least had two cooks. I have visited several other Dairy Queens and they are much more efficient when completing their orders in a timely manner. Someone from corporate should come in and dine as a customer to observe these experiences.

Inconvenienced customer, yet again.

Merritt BC - just left your play place. It's beyond disgusting. There is crevices FILLED with hard gunk. The yellow pads are clearly very filthy and haven't been wiped at all. This was at 10:15AM. just after opening. Is this normal? How often are the play places wiped down? I wish I would have taken more pictures but I didn't stick around very long. My kids were very disappointed, great play place but very unsanitary.

My friends don't have a computer so I tried to complete the feedback for a free Dilly Bar, but the website stated that I can only complete the survey every 15 days. The reason I had multiple survey receipts is because there was 6 of us who visited together for supper. I just wanted to know why, if 3 couples ate supper, why can't each of them fill in a survey for free Dilly Bars.

I waited on line for almost 30 minutes to have my order taken and that's not counting waiting on my FOOD. This is the worst service I've ever gotten at ANY fast food restaurant!
There were people standing in line with kids who were crying & complaining they were starving! I will NEVER visit a Dairy Queen again due to such BAD service! You should work on your customer service it's really bad and hire some more employees on busy days like a Saturday during the rush crowd called LUNCH!

Everytime i go to the DQ by my house the blizzard is mostly melted. I dont know if its the machine or what but its very disappointing. Anyways i decided to go today hoping for a thick creamy blizzard yet again melted. The lady didnt even turn it upside because it would have poured out like milk. I just think they should do something about this because Im sure Im not the only one getting disappointed with these unsatisfing ice creams. On top of that i have to put it in the freezer for an hour or 2 just to have it a little bit frozen and thick.

I get the same order 99% of the time. Single biscuit w/gravy, no sausage. 1 scrambled egg. 1 large tea light ice. I know what it should be.
My order was rung up wrong then cashier had an attitude when I questioned why my order price was almost double. She said she rang up what I asked for... "you just said biscuit w/gravy...you didn't say you wanted half an order".
I've specifically use the words "single biscuit" because that is how the MANAGER told me a year ago to order it. Her attitude was not necessary.

side note...
* the inside drink machine has been broken for MONTHS. So long that the out of order sign is faded and barely legible.
* the drive thru register tape is NOT legible and has been like that for over a year. I've been going to this location for over a year & it has never been fixed. I can make out the left side just enough to "guess" the info. I can only ASSUME it is correct.

I ordered a BLT salad in the drive through at the highway 50 location on Pueblo, CO. The girl taking my order was very rude and talking to other people on the intercom. I waited for ten minutes for just a salad. When the salad came the girl said, "here." She didn't smile, say thank you, nothing. I left and when I got home my dressing packet was covered with something red. When I opened the salad it had chicken and salad mix. No bacon or lettuce. I just decided to throw it away.

I moved to Gatesville, TX in July of 2018 where there is a Dairy Queen location that has been one of the worst locations I have ever been concerning service and quality of the product. I have lived in Texas my whole life, and always been an avid customer of this establishment and rarely been disappointed in the product. The employee's do not take your order at the speaker where the menu is even though it works, rather they make you pull up to take your order at the window where you may have to wait 10 minutes or more just to place an order. The service is very slow and I have never received an order of food or ice cream that has been made to the quality that I am used to from other locations. The service and quality of the product has not gotten any better since we have lived here for a year, and I often tell people who come to visit us not to go to the establishment for these reasons.
As a fan of the product, I would really like to see some changes made to this location so my family and I can actually start ordering there regularly.

The girls out front were great. Not sure if they own it. I live 3 min away and my burgers were cold. Then half way home forgot my buster bars so I had to go back. I also ordered chocolates shake they say no ice cream then they have it as I leave so in said can I have my shake now they said we r out of milk. If they own that Diary Queen I suggest u take over it cause it sucks. Worst food ever

I had came to Port Aransas Dariy Queen this evening I went thru the drive thru for a small blizzard. They took forever to answer so I drive up to the window and I had to wait for maybe 10-15min for someone to see me.. finally someone saw me and they called someone else form the back, when there was a young lady in the kitchen on her phone talking away...never again to Dairy Queen in Port Aransas.

Went to dairy queen on 165 North in monroe louisiana. The lady at the register said they no longer offered the 5 dollar meal deal. We ordered the two burgers for 4 dollars and a drink. There was 4 of us. She brought out 3 meals and I informed her she was 1 short she want to look at our ticket. She said she only charged us for three and i asked her if she need some money and she turned and went back to the register. I thought she put in the rest of our order. After 15 minutes of waiting i went to the register to check on my order. She informed me that she didn't. Told me if i didn't like it i could take it up with corporate. so much for lunch at Dairy Queen.
