CVS Minute clinic issue

My name is Ron Stanich

[protected]

5700 Canyon View Dr

Painesville, Ohio 44077

I am writing to (1) file a complaint about lack of service received at one of your Minute Clinics (location 1633 Oh Painesville, Ohio) (2) a fraudulent invoice from this Minute Clinic.

I went to this clinic on 3 separate occasions for a diabetic retina eye test. On each trip either the nurse / technician could not operate the machinery, or the machine was not working. I spent approximately an hour on each trip.

On the last trip, March 28, 2022 the nurse took my blood pressure which I did not ask for. I could not take the test as the machine was not working. I left again (3rd time) with the nurse telling me that they would contact me when the machine was functioning correctly - this again was at the end of March.

On June 8, 2022 I received an invoice for $99. Medicare Part B has paid $52 and I was being charged for $47. I will not pay this for no service received. I feel as if this is a fraudulent invoice.

I called into your customer service team twice with the following results:

1) June 20, 2022. Talked with Pernicka in customer service for at least 1/2 hour. She was not able to help with anything. I asked to speak to her supervisor several times. She finally transferred me to Michelle in internal billing. We talked for approximately another 1/2 hour.

The most she was able to do was tell me that she placed the invoice on hold and had to transfer the matter to corporate - hard to believe for a $99 charge. We discussed how I was not going to pay for a service which was not received. She was to personally call me back in 3 - 5 days. This was June 20, 2022 - I am still waiting.

2) July 6, 2022. One month later and no word back from anyone. I called and spoke to Rashawdrea from internal billing. She was not able to assist in this matter. All she could do she said was contact the Minute Clinic Manager, I believe Julie Newman. I asked for Julie to call me, she said she would in 3 - 5 days. She did say that the charge was for taking the blood pressure. Again, I did not ask for this and would definitely have said no if I knew there was a $99 charge for this. To me this is a fraudulent practice and abusive.

I would appreciate someone in authority to review this situation and contact me. I would at the minimum want the $99 charge reversed and Medicare Part B be reimbursed for their payment. I plan to have this eye test taken somewhere where I know the test can be performed, and I expect partial payment from Medicare.

I will wait until Friday, July 8, 2022 to hear back from someone from your office. I plan to send in a complaint to the BBB and my Medicare provider stating this fraudulent practice, and I don't plan to pay this charge.

This is incredible - in a bad way.

If you or your staff have any questions at all contact me.

Regards,

Ron Stanich

Desired outcome: cancel the charge and repay Medicare Part B provider

just looked at the regulations for FMCSA and actually it states it is up to the practitioner if you need the test or not. they can refuse to certify you if they believe based off the paperwork on your file with them. It is not from what i'm reading removed as a requirement but is strongly encouraged to point it out to patents that there is a possibility and should get a test done to be sure. she may have been rude to you first (from your post it is not clear who was rude first) though the way you handled it does seem a tad harsh to her.

My information came from the FMCSA gov website which is the official guidelines they go by to make decisions for each CVS on a corporate and managerial level. Trump may have removed it as a requirement but it is up to the FMCSA if they will based off statistics they get on crashes and other factors to keep or remove completely the requirement.

CVS BD Ultra Fine Original Pen Needles 12.7 mm, 29g

Today, July 6, 2022, I picked up my prescription order # 1053619 from your store at 500 12th Street SE, Washington, DC 20003. The prescription consisted of 2 boxes of the pen needles, 100 in each box.

Upon return home, I opened the stapled brown paper bag to find that the tape seal on each box was broken. One box even had the remains of a prior pharmacy prescription label having been affixed to the box. I phoned the pharmacy and they said to just count the needles in each box.

Its that the correct response from the pharmacy? I thought the whole idea of seals on "medicines," "etc," was to ensure that products were intact, complete, and had not been tampered with or have sterility compromised. Is that incorrect? Having the correct number of needles in a box tells me nothing about whether they are all safe to use.

Desired outcome: I would like you to have the pharmacy take back what they gave me for this prescription and give me two new, and properly sealed boxes of pen needles.

CVS Medicine refill

My name is Cynthia McKinney.

I have a prescription for pain medication. It's electronically sent from my doctor. Several times I have called and they don't have it ready. Today they don't have any of one of my prescriptions. They forgot to order it. I am tired of trying to get this done. The pharmacy is not responsible enough to order it on time

Desired outcome: Make sure that my meds are in stock every month. I have a prescription every single month

CVS Pharmacy refused covid vaccine

CVS on 44th ST in Del City, OK refused a covid vaccine on 7/2 at 530pm. I had an appointment that couldn't be fulfilled by another location so I was directed to Del City OK location. Pharmacist on duty refused to open up a new vial because he said he would get in trouble for wasting the vial. I reiterated that I had an appointment at 29th st location and pharmacy was closed due to staff shortage. He said "not my problem."

CVS Corporate policies and employee treatment

I'm a customer and husband of a CVS pharmacy employee.

The bean counters andhave ruined the company and customer's experience by ruining the service they receive by abusing their employees.

Employee reviews occurred, recently, which directly affect raises. Pharmacists/managers in certain regions were instructed NOT to award higher than 4 out of 5, for any category within reviews or else the regional managers would edit the reviews.

If 4 and 5 are part of the measure of performances, why include them in the scale? Additionally, what guidance are they given for those employees that go above and beyond?

The travesty in all of this is that the customer suffers because why would anyone in their right mind choose to continue to be underpaid and underappreciated, so then act according to the level they are limited to perform?

My spouse went into work when asked to cover for illnesses and unscheduled coverage lapses. They are constantly complimented and overtly appreciated by coworkers and customers, so why after glowing comments would she be limited by a "4/5" ceiling?

Does anyone wonder why CVS is viewed in the industry as the best training company to feed their competitors?

Desired outcome: Stop the habitual abuse and underappreciation of pharmacy technicians.

CVS False advertising

I just got back from the CVS located at 3300A Centennial Ln, Ellicott City, MD. This is the second time in a month I have been denied service because the pharmacy was closed. Ostensibly, the reason was to allow time for the employees to have their lunch. When I mentioned that you advertise 24/7 access, what I got was snarky comeback (from the pharmacist?), "well they DO have to eat lunch". It wasn't the words that set me off as much as the attitude on display. If she were the manager of the facility, she sets an extremely poor example to the other employees there. I replied that she might look into a concept called 'staggering', which, understandably, might too much for this poor woman to wrap her brain around. The bottom line is that advertising 24/7 actually MEANS something. If lying and snark is how you intend on treating customers, I will have to seriously reconsider where I get my prescriptions filled. There is a Wallgreens directly across the street and RIte Aid right around the corner, but I've been coming to CVS for more than 20 years and would prefer to keep on doing so, However, if things don't change, I may have to, along with the rest of my friends and family.

Desired outcome: Stagger the lunch breaks of the employees so that you can keep the pharmacy open - as you advertise!

CVS Refused to refill prescription

On 6/29/2022 my doctor increased my daily dosage of my pain medication from 120 to 150 units following the guidelines but the pharmacist refused to fill it up and only filled 120 units saying that he wouldn't fill and giving no further explanation.

I had 2 Spinal fusions that failed and damaged nerves, it is easy to judge when you are not in the client shoes,if the doctor prescribed is because he knows the level of pain I am in.

Moving my prescpriptions to somewhere else, where they understand the clients needs.

In defense of the pharmacists, they are constantly audited and advised b DEA and other governing entities to discourage the useage of opioids. If a pharmacist is accused of allowing a prescription going through that causes harm or addiction, they are at risk and considered the last line of defense.

Just something to consider beyond the mind-cloud of pain you're experiencing at the moment.

CVS Paying for employees travel to abortions states?

I’m cancelling my membership and will never enter into a CVS store ever again. Why? Because CVS is helping its employees murder innocent life in the form of babies by aiding and abetting travel and abortion procedure costs to another state. I won’t be contributing to paying for these deaths. Adopting out used to be the norm that needs to return. Stop cursing our nation with your company’s death cult mentality!

Desired outcome: Stop coercing employees to murder innocent human life in and outside the womb using customer membership loyalty devices to pay for it.

CVS Pharmacy

Your stupid automated system told me my prescription would be ready 2 pm on Tuesday 6/28/22. So I waited 4 days, then called after the time It said it would be ready. I waited on hold for 30 minutes. The girl dropped my call. I recalled. 20 minutes this time. To be told the pharmacist needed to order it so it won't be ready until the next day, Wednesday. If your automated system doesn't work, you should say so. The insurance company approved it last Friday. I could have had it from my mail order pharmacy in much less time. If your computer just lies to put off filling meds, you should not be using it.

I'm not sure how this happened. maybe the staff does have it there but are too lazy to check.

This is your Havenwood Drive store in Shirley. The service there is atrocious. This might well be criminal.

Desired outcome: I want this prescription filled NOW!

CVS I never ordered automatic delivery, but was accused of doing so.

I sent my first complaint about a delivery problem quite some time ago. I was accused of having automatic delivery, which I never ordered. The outcome was that I have to call the pharmacy in order to get delivery. This is not an option because the pharmacy does not answer calls (waiting15-25 minutes before I hang up). Now I have an emergency as I contracted the Covic 19 virus and need medication which was ordered by my doctor. I am in isolation and therefore I cannot go outside since I do not want to spread the virus to anyone. So how am I going to get my medication? I live alone. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

CVS CVS TARGETPharmacy Golden Isles Brunswick Georija

I caI came in to pick up medicine and the pharmacy was closed I was told that they did not have a pharmacist and did not know when one would be in. I’ve decided to leave CVS and go to another pharmacy. I’ve been waiting two days to get the fax of my meds or my husband’s meds to another pharmacist. It has not been sent over yet so I went into the store personally I was told it was sent the day before which is not true. This was the reason my visit today. I asked could they resend it the clerk told me they were about to go on lunch and it would be after lunch. My husband is completely out of his gout medicine. I’d hate for this to be some other medicine that he depended on his life. I am very upset it is coming to the weekend and he still does not have his meds because CVS is holding up his fax. I will never ever use CVS pharmacies again. I hope this is resolved soon

And they never answer the phone at least not on time anyway while I was there the answering machine kept saying pharmacy line someone on pharmacy line.

thank you

Obviously under staffed. Blame CVS corporate and take mercy on their employees who are overwhelmed and underpaid.

The bean counters continue to cut back on hours, pay and staff to try to squeeze more profit out of each store. Meanwhile, quality of customer service suffers.

CVS Controlled medicine improperly filled

My prescription. for IC OXYCODONE 10mg 1 every 6 hours 120 count was not filled properly as I only received a 30 count. Once I was at home I noticed that my prescription was not filled correctly and had to go back to CVS and speak with the pharmacist. After he looked at the prescription he claimed a technician put the wrong count into the computer? This is a controlled medicine and only the pharmacist should be in charge of filling such not a technician. He (Joseph M Maceyak) the pharmacist at CVS took back the 30 count prescription refunded my credit card then filled the120 count prescription properly and I paid for it.

Had I not checked my prescriptions once at home I'm willing to bet I would have had been screwed because of the prescription being a controlled substance and who knows where the 90 missing pain meds may have went had I never caught the pill count missing 90 pills?

Desired outcome: I intend on reporting this to CVS & Hipaa

CVS Store on route 70, Medford NJ

Stopped in today. As usual no one was at the check out counter. Looked around, no one! Another customer and I said, 'anyone here' 3 times. Then we noticed a bell on the counter, pressed it...finally a woman came. She had her game face on ready for an argument. I remarked, 'you don't look happy'...that set her off! I left my items on the counter after telling her where she should put my items.

This store is the worst! Following gum surgery I went in with an RX for pain. I was told to come back in 2 hours. In a lot of pain I called after 3 hours, was told to call again in an hour, I did...and did so for 3 more hours. I finally managed to all asleep...next morning I got phone call my pin RX was ready! I complained to the pharmacist on duty and he said CVS policy is to fill pain meds first, not to make anyone wait! When I asked why I had to wait he said he had no idea!

CVS Covid test - rude technician

My dad was scheduled for a covid test; however, I entered the wrong year digit of his DOB. This was our fault; however, it does not take much to change the DOB. When he showed up at the CSV 15421 Brookhurst St, Westminster, CA, the pharmacist technician that issued the test was extremely rude to him. Her name is Bieu. First, Bieu speaks Vietnamese, which is my father's language. She raised her voice and gave him such a hard time for not speaking English, not to mention my dad is 79 years old and has Alzheimer's. So please train your representative to represent CVS to be kind to the senior, especially if they are there for a reason. Please find another career if you can't be kind (when it's your job as a healthcare provider). Not to mention this is your people, and treat the senior with respect, please.

Called to refill a cholestral drug earlier than it was up due to fact I was going away and needed another supply. I was told it wasn't ready but if I needed quicker to press a number, which I did. Got a message saying ok I could pick it up that afternoon. I actually didn't get there till next morning when I was told I couldn't have it early? I also had gotten a call asking if I wanted to be on a program that would give me my drugs as a 3 month supply so I signed up for that too. So now I have to go away and will not have my cholestral drugs with me.

Desired outcome: want to know why the automatic messaging gives false information that causes big problems.
