wrong order
I went to Culver’s today (10.03.2017) I had 3 orders which included the double cheese burger, the cod sandwich and buffalo chicken tenders; all were meals with drinks. Imagine my surprise when I get home and I have 2 cod sandwich meals along with the burger meal. No buffalo chicken tenders meal! My daughter along with myself was really upset! I have tried and tried to call the location more than 10x’s and no answer! The number is [protected]. I want a full refund for having to deal with this! Why should I be out of almost 30.00 if you can’t or won’t take the time out to get orders right? I am very disappointed with this ghetto franchise.
service
Service was [censor] and workers were more worried about drama than customers. Took forever when I ordered dessert and when I got it the person that brought it to the table was very rude and completely ignored when I said thank you. Will not be returning to this location also workers yelled at each other when male worker with black hair at desk messed up
I ordered a vanilla waffle cone and a cheeseburger deluxe
I was on the road home from Harrison, MI, heading south and was hungry, so ordered my food at a Culver's in Mt. Pleasant, ate it in the parking lot and continued on the road. My stomach started cramping really bad within 5-10 minutes after I ate the Culver's food, so I was forced to get off the interstate to find a bathroom. Well, I couldn't wait. Thankfully it was night time, so I pulled over and had a huge cramping diahrea attack. Thankfully I was able to get my pants pulled down on time. It lasted a few minutes. I was sweating profusely. It was an obvious food poisoning.
I stopped at a Culver's in Mt. Pleasant Michigan on Monday, September 4. It was about 9:45 p.m. What do I want to accomplish. I'm not sure, but it was very very very unpleasant.
manager at store
I ordered on drive through at Culver's 435, trans 1572023. I always order the butter burger which comes with everything and I asked for extra mayo, the lady asked did I want bacon? I said no bacon. When I got home it only had cheese, mayo, and ketchup. I called in talked to Manager Danny he went back and forth with me insisting that is what I ordered! Finally, I said Can I bring it back for a refund, sarcastically he replied "if your not going to eat it" When He came to the drive through he told me they repeated the order back three times and he was on the mic and heard them. I told him he insist on saying that is what I ordered, I told him he needed more customer service training, he never apologized not once!

feature burger
I went to your restaurant on Newburgh and Warren on 08/15/2017 around 9:30 PM . I went inside and decided to try your featured burger your staff was friendly, my order was taken and in a timely matter I received my order. Once I got home I started eating the burger, and after taking a big bite I looked down and realized that one of my patties were not completely cooked I had raw meat or pink meat in one of the patties. I couldn't believe someone had failed to completely cook my burger putting my health I danger. I'm not sure if someone simply made a mistake or if someone was ready to go home so they took a short cut on my sandwich.
burgers
Hi,
We absolutely love Culver's and eat there quite often but lately we have had our burgers with pink in them. Tonight we brought two butter burger baskets and a kids meal home and could only eat one burger as the other two were over 1/2 pink! I ordered a lemon cooler too and it had cookie crumbs on the top. We have a gluten allergy and a nut allergy in our family and we weren't able to consume any of that.
We go to the Culver's in Appleton by Woodmans grocery store.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my complaint.

regarding your so-called 10 pct discount to veterans and seniors
Hi there. I'm asking you about your 10 pct discount for vets and seniors. Yesterday after my order and paid my bill and sat down I remembered abt the 10 pct discount. They usually ask if your a vet or senior. Culvers said, "We don't ask customers this anymore. They must tell us". When I asked why, they said, because seniors feel offended. That's absurd. Most seniors like me and a vet look for discounts. If you don't want to offer these discounts anymore just discontinue them. Don't expect your customers to ask because it's arrogant. I really love your food, but, I forget like many people abt asking. If you use this method of behavior to your customers "Don't ask, don't tell" to save money or because your employees feel uncomfortable asking, then why can't you just have a special coupon or notice on the door. Then nobody will feel inferior. I feel proud to be a veteran and a senior and thank the merchants that really display their recognition to us. Get bigger tips to. Looking frwd to hearing from you.
racist shift manager!
At the 71st and Georgetown Indianapolis location, I ordered the cod 2 piece dinner like I often do and this time I ended getting something called the walleyed dinner that had some slimy skin under the batter crust. I got home and tried to eat it but it was disgusting and I actually felt a tiny piece of bone go down my throat as I swallowed it. So I stop eating it and put it in the freezer to bring not only the receipt back but mostly ALL of the FOOD back with it. You would think that would be enough but...when I went back on 3/28 around 6pm, I got a rude manager who must have been in a bad mood because she proceeds she refuses to replace my order she states that her name is Teresa but when I called in and spoke with an employee I find out her REAL name is Chanell (shift manager). Im a regular and I know there is a manager there also name Twila who is professional and nice. So when I asked if she could help me instead she rolls her eyes and says "shes below me Im in charge" "Don't be tryin to talk to her cause she white you need to go".
coupon non compliance
Coupon stated Ofallon Mo. on it but the women would not honor it at that location. But yet she stated she would honor coupon on other side witch was at a different address, witch was 5.5 miles father away. This coupon stated O'fallon Mo. with no address, fraud coupon at it's best. Plus the lady was not nice about it. This a new location I was happy about until this took place.
The women did not offer any thing to me
This happened on 29 Dec 2016
service and product
On 6/6/16 at 2:59 pm Customer or some kind of number is 496394, I went to register 2 and ordered a pot roast beef with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband ordered a Deluxe Double basket. While sitting at the table, ( I refilled my tea 3 times, while waiting) I noticed that drive thru was really not moving and alot of cars were out there. Then after a long time, I noticed Kaitlyn carrying 3 cars worth of orders! I also noticed that when she (Kaitlyn) brought out my order, she also had another order that she also delivered. I took a couple of bites and noticed that the food was barely lukewarm. Green beans were SWEET, potatoes were too thick and "stretchy". I threw my food away after about 5 or six bites! I then went up to counter and ordered a double strawberry concrete and 2 scoops of choc custard with reeses on top. Before I ordered, I told cashier about my food. As I was telling her, Kaitlyn was in the process of waiting for food on 2 orders. First one was filled and she was waiting on something on her second order, then took them both out to dining room. I told the cashier that this is why my food was cold. Her response was" She's probably trying to save steps"...REALLY! MY food is COLD, to save her steps? She asked if I wanted to talk to her Manager. I said "No, I was afraid they would spit in my food the next time I came in...(which I have already decided to NOT do again) and I would type in a complaint to online Culvers complaints. My husband said there was something gritty on his spoon, so he wiped it off. It was there again. He said it was like the custard wasn't mixed up or something.? He said it was awful! Has this Culvers switched owners? Food has really gone down hill and so has the service!
bug in the food
I went to culvers to eat.
After i ate i bought a lemon ice with rasberry topping.
It tasted good till i crunched down after tht i took it out of my mouth and round a black bettle. So i took to the ladyand just threw it away and gave me a new one without the topping. I had to tale it Back again to get money.
You shouldn't have had to pay for a topping, that's just ridiculous. I hope they threw that batch if fruit away too.
worst customer service
I went to the Culver's on Friday at noon to get lunch for myself and pick up a salad for dinner. I am gluten intolerant (celiac) so I ordered a salad with no croutons. I ate my lunch and when I drove home that night I opened my salad and it was filled with crumbly croutons. Impossible to eat. As I was 20 miles away and was in the process of moving, I decided to return it on Monday. I thought it would be an easy fix.
Not only did the assistant manager lean out the window and talk loudly telling me he could refund because I "may have purchased it at another Culver's" but the money I paid for the order that day was lost as I was so embarrassed I drove off.
I did follow up with a phone call to the manager and he was equally as rude citing the purchase at another Culver's philosophy.
This restaurant doesn't have a clue about customer service.
I even called the corporate office and spoke with Judy, who I was told handles complaints. I admit I was impressed by her professionalism in returning my call and her manner. I was also disappointed that though she promised she would follow up - I never heard from her again.
Celiac patrons need to know that when they order something, they can depend on the food not making them sick.
My responsibiilty: perhaps I should have called them that night. I really didn't think it would matter. I offered to send my bank statement to Judy, and it would have shown the purchase at Culver's. She stated she didn't need it.
The managers/owners at this franchise are rude and arrogant - and they are obviously very worried that the citizens of Colorado Springs are going around purchasing food at other Culver's franchises and requesting refunds at their branch. This is beyond ridiculous!
I gave this franchise several opportunities to make this right - I'm out about $10.00, but they are out my business forever.
It is true that people scam them for free product. Or some people don't want to go to the other restaurant again because of the mistake and so they go to a different one to get it fixed. The thing is you need to have proof of purchase, granted if they were being rude about it that's unnecessary but I understand their policy and believe customers need to take care of their part too. Mistakes are made and I accept they are human... and if you think about it you should call right away so they can find the source of the problem and make sure that their employees aren't continuing mistakes that night.
no water
I went through the drive through on a thusday and ordered a meal with a water, because I like water and never drink soda. I was working close by and was very thirsty due to the heat, so I orderd a big water and there was no problem. Me and a co-worker went back on the very next day (friday) and went in to order a meal to go, because we needed to wash our hands. I ordered the same thing but this time I was given a small cup, and I told the girl that I wanted a large cup of water because I was getting my meal to go, and she refused. Imediatly after that the older manager lady came up and said "You can only get water in a small cup!" I then told her that I had gotten one just the day before, and she stared at me blankly and said " You got a big water here?!" as if it was an unheard of sin for one of her employees to give out a water that will actually wash down a meal. I am tired of being penalized for trying to drink a healthier drink.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Absolutely, if you should get mad at anyone get mad at the idiots who decide that they want to fill their water glasses with soda. If it weren't for them no one would have a problem.
The workers of Culver's are not allowed to hand out larger glasses for water because many people fill them with soda. They hand out the small, clear ones so they are able to see if anyone gets soda at the fountain. If you politely asked them to fill the large cup at the drive thru fountain themselves, they would have.
Culver's - loyalty card
I've enjoyed culvers food...especially the custard. So, I paid for their loyalty card where the $ you spend accumulate points which are redeemable for food etc. I went through the drive through on Oct 27, 2010 and stated I forgot my card. The clerk said I could bring back the receipt and they'll add to my points. Based on the response I ordered 3 meal...

My friend and I ordered two plain vanilla concrete mixers. Upon eating we noticed a gritty substance on the spoon. At first i kept thinking it was just me until i asked my friend and he had it as well. Meanwhile a bus with at least 40 people had arrived clogging the counter and keeping us from going to the counter. In the meantime i ended up flagging down three staff members as they delivered the food to different tables. we proceeded to eat the rest and it wasn't great. finally we got an answer it was from being cleaned overnight and they were little chunks from starting up the machine. well it was 6pm in the afternoon? she did not offer a coupon or anything else and we didn't ask but I am complaining to the world now. the problem could have been solved easily with supplying a replacement coupon for another time. DO NOT ORDER THE CONCRETE MIXERS unless you want real sand and gravel in your ice cream.
It's amazing how a one time mishap can ruin your whole experience with an entire food chain... craziness
I ordered 2 "Butterfinger" Concret Mixer from the Culver's in Plymouth, Wisconsin today (7/31/11) and when the girl in the driver thru window them to me, one of them had ice cream smeared all over the plastic cover be fore I even handled it - which end up dripping all over my center console in my car before I noticed. When I attempted to use one of the 4-5 napkins she handed me, ever napkin was also full of dripping ice cream. But the REAL REASON for my complaint is that after I drove the three mile home to share with my family, it appeared that the Butterfinger "mixer" was nothing more then a few broken candy bar bits sprinked lightly over the top - NOT MIXED in the ice cream. It looked like they used 1 "miniture Butterfinger" candy split between 2 Mixers - CHEAP & SKIMPY !

ownership
I worked for the Skoubis family at 1825 W. Deer Valley Rd. in Phoenix and it was the most horrible working situation I"ve ever been in! Mom, dad and two sons. First, the old man Louie is a constant ranting, raving idiot. This guy would hold my line up with his weighing of every order of fries. And we were trained by coporate to put 5-51/2 ounces and this guy tells us to put less. In other words, go ahead and rip the customer off. I was the "crew chief", responsible for order times and then he grabs spatulas out of your hand, then screws up the orders! The guy is a flat-out racist, too, calling the blackened chicked "Obamas". I asked george, the son, to put a stop to it, but daddy's got the money! The other son, Peter, just likes to abg the females and drug it up with the guys. Once he even sent an employee to Blythe on a drug run, and the guy never shows up for work and, SURPRISE Pete forgot to tell me. Phyllis is just plain unpleasant and George can't put a stop to anything! Have a nice day guys!

You should have worked for the skoubis family at the Hide-A-Way supper club in Wisconsin. Peter is a pimp daddy horror that hits on young girls has house partys and supplies his young sons with drugs His house in Nekoosa has young girls 18 years old living there and sleeping with him. For Louie and Phyllis, I never knew Greeks that were as cheep as WAL-MART underwear. Big dimonds, flashy cars, big house and no heart. George did not work there when I did but I heard he was the nice son. Plus, I know that they hide tons of money under the table...Feds should really check out this family! Culvers should be ashamed and do an internal investagation.
poor customer service and rude owner
My daughter and I are on a diet, so we have limited our fast food. However, we visited the Culver's on William Cannon and Brodie, It was the biggest mistake ever. To be fair this was only our second visit and the first time was great, That's why we returned. Well the nightmare started with the drive-thru, since there is no viewing screen, it took a while to decide what to order, I was repeatedly rushed and when I asked a question Elaine, would rudely reply. I proceeded to the window where I waited for nearly 3 minutes without the drive-thru person even acknowledging us. It took so long that when she finally returned I explained that we would eat on the inside, after paying first. Inside the burgers were cold and the cheese wasn't melted, the burger was made incorrectly. Which is okay, but when I told the owner Elaine, she gave me two cold mayo packets. Who wants to put cold mayo on a cold burger? I was pissed off. I asked for a refund, and told her that her customer service skills were horrible. She smiled and said will you got your money back. All I wanted was the burger microwave or something, it would have been a easy fix if she would have bother to ask me or cared. I can understand a regular underpaid employee giving horrible customer service, but an owner! That is why I will never go there again, and I tell ever one. With the economy in the shape it's end, you would think "owners" would at least try to please the customer...I didn't want free food or her to waste product by re-making the burger, all I wanted was a hot burger with mayo and melted cheese. I was just at the Culvers in Michigan City. I was ask to pull up by a young lady working the drive thru, so I did up to another car that was waiting for an order. Another girl brought the car in front of me their order and I couldnt believe what I was hearing. they ordered a concrete mixer as did I and the girl had two of them in her hand and tried giving the driver both of them I heard him say we only ordered one, she said we must have made this one by mistake and gave it to them. I told her I was waiting for a concrete mixer, she said oh really and left.
Ok, I waited several cars behind me left and one pulled up close as he could to me. he got his order then ask the girl bringing orders out to have me pull up I told her no. I have waited longer than of those cars behind me which I noticed also ordered concrete mixers. So the short fat old man got out his car after beebing his horn serval times and ask me to pull up. I looked in my mirror and noticed the car behind him had received their order so I told him no, I am not pulling up. finally the young girl brought my order to me but not before the man called me a ### and then he told her she should have thrown the concrete mixer at me and she agreed...Culvers can go straight to HELL! and I will make all my family and co-workers aware of what happened and ask them to no longer go there as well.
wrong order
I ordered thur the drive up at lunch time on 03/31/10. I ordered a single classic cheese burger with everything on the hamburger. So to my surprise when i get back to work to eat lunch -i opened it up and found that I got a dried up chese burger with only cheese and bacon on the d--- sandwich. I couldn't go back to culvers because LUNCH TIME WAS OVER!
man was I burning when i was typing this email.

I returned to the business later in the evening to get my money back for an item that was missing from my lunch order earlier in the day, the manager refused and inferred I was lying about the missing item. After leaving a message with the corporate offices (who never returned my call), the owner called me and rather than offering to return my money for the missing item, defending the manager's behavior. I am still stunned by this horrible example of customer service. Avoid this business.
My wife and I wanted to buy coupons for or Senior Citizens group to reward members for serving in a bake sale. The counter staff was very friendly to our inquiry. But, the manager who could make a decision was hiding under his desk in the back room and was not available. But-- he would get back to us at or phone number later in the day.
He must be still under the desk without a phone. We and many of the seniors in the community will go to Colorado Springs for our dining at culver's.
So how do you know that he was hiding under his desk?
My wife and i stopped at a culvers resturant in Clear Lake Ia. tonight after a track meet that was rained out. I just had a tooth pulled so could not eat solid food so i ordered chicken soup. When we recieved our order the cardboard cup that it came in was only half full. I asked the server if that was all I got, she said yes. The board said the soup had noodles and chunks of chicken, all I founed was one piece of chicken about the size of a large pea. I was very disappointed and not sure if I will return to Culvers in the furture.

worst service all time
The cashier took my money then told me to drive ahead and wait until the food was ready. I was waiting in my car for 50 minutes waiting for the waitress to bring my food out. We she brought it out she didn't say they were sorry and didn't offer me any comps. For 50 minutes wait time they ought of refunded my money and gave me the food for free.
Simple...because it wasn't really 50 minutes...more like 15...lol!
The Swans are an amazing family that has invested tons in the community. The person that wrote this obviously hasn't taken the time to get to know them, I know this was years ago but I had to set the record straight. I worked for Ramey during this time and I think I remember this specific circumstance, he was using a fry scoop with an ungloved hand, doesn't the scoop touch the food, not his hand? I have never seen any Swan family member handle food without gloves. This lady just doesn't like the Swans and was out to make trouble this day, plain and simple
I ordered a double mushroom and swiss burger and a double Wisconsin burger, and they forgot the mushrooms on the mushroom and swiss burger and on the Wisconsin burger they put 2 burgers on on side of the sandwich and the other side was empty and no cheese, Aberdeen, South Dakota
Real bad customer service and no management around to supervise kids. I drove thru the drive thru window to order onion rings and I waited in front of the building for them to bring them out. I waited for thirty min. and nothing. I called them on the phone and I finally drove around the drive thru again. They handed me a bag of onion rings, and I asked if they were hot or have they been sitting she said yes. I got home and the onion rings were ice cold. My husband had the same thing happened inside a few days ago. The servers were running around the place with their heads cut off and no management in sight to supervise. He could see the
onion rings sitting on the rack, but no one would serve him. He had already paid for the order.
Most of wisconsin restaurants don't wear gloves. it's called the bare hand contact contract. They grab the gloves with their hands anyways right? so if you are even thinking that route aren't those gloves contaminated. Look it up, they wouldn't be open if they couldn't do that. research people research
consumer police that is disgusting i dont think the health department would like that do you?knowing this family they think they are better than anyone else and above wearing gloves because its their restaurant and they have the kind of pull in marion that they dont care owner ramey swan father jim swan council member mother/wife cindy swan owners of marion steel fabrications and best friends with mayor seibold all worthless
Our experience last night at a Culver's in Marion Indiana was that the owner (Ramey Swan) and his father (Jim Swan) were working in the kitchen and had NO GLOVES on! All of the other employees in the kitchen had gloves on with the exception of the owner and his father. Both of them were handling food with their hands; as a matter of fact, the owner kept picking up every sandwhich from the basket everytime it was set down and pulled the bun off to inspect, slapped the bun back on and shoved the basket out further. I asked the girl at the register to tell them that they need to put gloves on. She looked at me with a horrified look. I said, are you going to tell him? She said she would. After she took our order, she went to a gal who must have been the manager and said something to her, she turned to look at me and it appeared that she said something to the owner who then smiled and kept working without gloves. Then as we walked over to get our drinks I made the comment how disgusting it was that these men were handling all of the food without gloves right as a woman walked past us. I then realized that it was the owner's mother. She turned to look at her husband and son working without gloves and went ahead and walked out of the restaurant. Later I saw her come back in and go back to the kitchen and talk with the son/husband. Nothing changed. When we left they were still working without gloves and the owner was still handling every single sandwhich by taking the bun off and then putting it back on.
Speaking of horrendous owners, imagine how hard it would be to work for the Skoubis family, owners of Culvers 1825 W. Deer Valley. Mom, dad and two sons. The old man Louie, is a flat-out racist! He even called the blackened chicken sandwich an "Obama". He'd grab [censor] out of your hands, nobody could do anything right but him, etc. The son Peter, would send employees on drug runs, then they wouldn't show up or call, and nobody'd tell me (I was they're put-upon crew chief). If he wasn't bonking the chicks he was drugging with the guys. Phyllis was just an unpleasant person and George, although nice, couldn't control anything going on! Oh, the location is in Phoenix AZ.

Why would anyone wait 50 minutes for food at a fast food restaurant? Why not just get out of your car and go inside to see what was going on.
