Crunch Fitness A person trainer at the San Clemente Ca location named Brandon or brendon.

This is the second time this has happened . Out of at least 20 people with no mask on working out he singles me out and one other person with tattoos. And tell us to put on our masks . I told him he was single I g me out and he lied strait to my face and said he was telling everyone . He did nothing of the sort. I'm being discriminated against because of the way I look . I will be filing a defamation lawsuit and discrimination lawsuit against crunch if this is not addressed. I go to crunch to get health not breath canon dioxide while I work out. Just like everyone else in there and just like walking into a restaurant I wear my mask in there and out but not to work out in . I have breathing issues and a medical issue that it is not Heathy to do so. Please respond soon . Thank you

Crunch Fitness health/customer service

I joined crunch on 4/5/21. i was pretty impressed with all the features they had to offer and the price so I signed up. I was quite disappointed that they did not show me how to work any of the machines though. The next day I went to work out and I forgot my watch so I decided to use their wifi. i could not connect to it so I went up to the desk and asked the gentleman to help me connect my wifi and to show me how all the machines work. he pressed the Bluetooth button and said he didn't know why it wasn't working and would tell his manager. needless to say, I still could not connect to the wifi so I was musicless the entire time. while working out I was looking around and noticed that most people and some employees were not wearing masks. I am in the healthcare field working closely with the department of health and I am very upset that this facility is not following CDC guidelines. I would hate for this gym to close due to the lack of enforcement of these rules. if these issues are not resolved I will be canceling my membership at the least.

Crunch Fitness Refusing to cancel my gym membership and stealing money from my account

Joined Crunch back in September. Cancelled in October. I gave them 30 days written notice and sent it via registered mail. They acknowledged my cancellation and still said I owed $90 for my yearly fee, even though I cancelled my membership so fast. Only went to Crunch Fitness 3 days. Changed my bank card number and after 6 months they just started taking money out again. Last night an unauthorized amount of $170. Money that I needed to pay my bills has now been stolen out of my account. I don't recommend this gym at all what a bunch of scamming thieves. How can you justify yourselves doing this to someone in the middle of a pandemic? especially a person with health issues that can no longer use your gym. I want my money refunded or I will be taken this to court and the media. I also put in a fraud claim through my bank account.

Desired outcome: I want my money back that was stolen

Doesn't cancel memberships unless you're in person, continues charging you regardless of you trying to cancel, and sends you to collections.

Crunch Fitness Crunch dearborn employee Matthew

MESSAGE: I was working out at crunch dearborn with my mask on and after my workout I went to the bathroom to wash my face, there were no paper towels in the bathroom so I could not put my mask on as I needed to dry my face. I walked out the bathroom to get paper towel but there was no paper towel available as the employees had not filled them. So I was walking out the gym with my face wet and could not put my mask back on. As I got to the front desk the general manager by the name of Matthew told me to put my mask on and I told him I am leaving and walked out. He then called my cell phone telling me he revoked my membership. He would not give me the number to corporate. He would not give me his bosses number and he was very rude. He also did not tell me the call is being recorded and when I asked him he told me it might be.

Desired outcome: I would like my membership reactivated as this is unjust and I would like an apology from Matthew.

Crunch Fitness Billing

I have been charged 2 times this month for no apparent reason from the crunch fitness.
March 22 2021 - $11.24
March 16 2021 - $56.44

I had a chat regarding this with Leslie at the gym and I clearly remember her having mentioned that there will be no additional charges what so ever, that I will have to incur. This is absolute rip-off. Additionally, I assume there is a mandate from government of Ontario that only limited people can come in to the gym. So why is my account being charged when I haven't requested to come in at all.

I want an effective refund for this charge.

Crunch Fitness Refund not received

Hello,

My name is Veda Tripuraneni, I was a member of Crunch Fitness. In 2019, I cancelled my Auto-Renewal for the year 2020. Despite of cancelling, Crunch fitness charged me with an yearly fee in 2020 August, from then they charged for couple of months. They never cared to updated my data in their system, they know I cancelled the membership, but they charged me anyways for a few months, I have noticed this in later 2020 for stop charging my account, they denied saying the profile is not being updated we can't do anything and I need to talk to someone in headoffice, I had to call my Bank and asked them to HOLD transactions from Crunch Fitness as they are charging it Unethically. The manager of North London branch, her name is Chealsea, responds to my email sometimes saying my file is not being updated and she sent me a refund form for 174.67 CAD and siad it will be refunded in couple of months. Later after few months she asked me to contact Teena Smith, Regional Manager of Crunch Fitness. I emailed Teena Smith hoping she will resolve my issue. SHe never responded either. The whole team is very negligent and irresponsible. They have been makinmg me wait for 8 months now. Nothing is being resolved. I kindlu request you to take some action regarding this. I have been working hard since 2018 to make some money and every penny is important for me. It's heavy on heart when somebody tries to unethically charge you with amount which you are not supposed to pay. The amount they owe me is 174.67 CAD and waiting since October 2020. Awaiting your estimated reply. PLEASE HELP ME..!

Desired outcome: REFUND of 174.67

Crunch Fitness Customer Service

I have been going to the Amherst Crunch facility for years. The staff have always been helpful changing the channel on the TV when requested. Going back after COVID re-opening, the manager has told his staff changing channels is no longer provided to customers. Lately when I use the bikes, the TVs above are on the TLC channel. Manager refuses to allow channels to be changed in spite of programming like 600lb Life, transsexual couple nursing babies, and underage unwed mothers. When I asked why TLC?, I was told I didn't have to watch. When I said it was hard to avoid watching, an argument ensued and I was kicked out. Today's programming included a 600lb woman bathing and using the toilet on three TVs in a direct line-of-sight of the bikes. I told the manager that the lady was taking a crap and was told not to use the kind of language with him. That was a bit much. He is otherwise very friendly to the customers so I don't know what' s going on but it needs to change.

I used to be a crunch fitness member (#xxxxx99877) at reston va location, and froze my account in 2019 due to lack of use of their facilities as I have a home gym in my building. Crunch Fitness Membership fees/cancellation

Crunch fitness closed down in NYC in March due to COVID-19. Late march I went on their website to see how I could cancel my membership, it said, and I quote "Please contact your home gym directly for more information or contact us online." I contacted them via email March 23 asking what I needed to do to cancel. I never got a response and left NYC in April. Months later I get an email saying they'll be reopening soon and my membership will resume. I repeated my desire to cancel, referenced my email back in March. Again, no response. Then I get an email saying payment was declined and I need to update my payment information (I'd had a fraud alert and my bank had issued me a new card). THEN I finally get a response back from Crunch basically saying, "fine we'll cancel it, but since you have to cancel either in person (impossible due to covid restrictions) or in writing (which wasn't on their website, nor did they bother for many months to notify me about that until billing had already resumed), we are still charging you for a months membership. I AGAIN objected, citing the email chain starting in March, and pointing out their total lack of communication for months. I just got ANOTHER request for payment details. Giving me the silent treatment on how to cancel my membership...until billing resumes, then saying "oh sorry, we'll cancel for you, but you're still on the hook for another month" is not operating in good faith. Do the right thing and cancel my membership, stop trying to collect fees resulting from Crunch's poor customer service and communication, and let's hear no more from one another.

The internet/audiotech has been unavailable for me now for almost 3 weeks, at least three weeks worth of football Mondays. It is very frustrating to me that the manager does not even know when the service will be repaired, or a service be worked on. Seems this month I should be able to get a free membership for a month, or at least until it is repaired.

Crunch Fitness Membership cancelled and still talking money from my debit account

I already cancelled my membership on August 27 because they charged on August 17 two months of fees (45.18). They tall me I will get my refund of ($48.18 a few days later (I signed a cancellation paper), instead of thats they changed me again $22.59. Crunch Fitness Personal training

I had signed up for Personal training at Crunch Fitness for $180 for 4 sessions every other week and was paying $360 every month. The trainer never scheduled training sessions on time and I had 10 pending sessions before Covid-19 hit in March 2020.

When the gym was reopened in May, I attempted to cancel my personal training contract but my memebsership was frozen instead. Trainer was always busy and never scheduled pending sessions with me but my account was still charged for the training sessions that I never availed. I am exteremly disappointmed with the service provided and I would like to get a refund of all my pending training sessions.

I cancelled my account yesterday and I was told to pay $22.50 and I will be all good. it was stated clearly. and now I called to confirm, I was told that on the 28th, another payment will be taken on the 28th of this month.
