Credit Diagnosis Unauthorized charges

I remember clicking some e-mail that said I would get a credit report for free. I've never seen this free report and they have now charged by bank acct 1.00, and $29.95 in Mar 2010 and April 2010. I cannot find the web site and they continue to charge my account. The auto debit is to MVQ*CRDIAGNOSIS. There is no # to call to cancel and get a refund of my money or anything. Who are these people and how do they get away with this?

this is not a complaint against the company or the people at credit diagnosis... this is a complaint against all of you IGNORANT aholes who think that its ok to go virtually months sometimes years w/o checking yer credit and bank statements because you all own so many credit cards you dont keep up, another problem about you is also you do not READ... READ.. its as simple as that, when your ONLINE and your using your CREDIT CARD you would think that a normal person with an education would read all the terms and condtions to whatever they were buying into, IF IT REQUIERS A CREDIT CARD ITS NOT FREE... jesus you people. i went online to this website and register myself for a credit report, you do NOT enroll over the phone you enroll online, i READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS and it stated if i did not cancel within 7DAYS i would be charged a fee of 29.95. yes it took me a good 10 minutes to READ all the information but tell me did any of you people here take the time to READ? ridiculous you all sound like a bunch of uneducated ###s. the people at that company are kind and most understanding as one could be when it comes to ignorance like this. you dont like these people who "scam" you well hears an idea try READING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS and they wouldnt have to be there to clean up your mess, thank you and have a nice day ###s.

This company hooks you by offering a free trial and then if you don't cancel they charge your credit card without authorization.

Unauthorized charges appeared on my credit card. I never signed up for this service and have no idea how they got my credit card information. When I called they refused to say how they got it and what it was for but asked for detailed information in order to cancel the charges. I did not give them the information and they said the money would be refunded.

I called my credit card company to inquire about charges I am recieving monthly to Credit Diagnosis, about $30/month. I was unaware of my membership, had never received any reports or services, only charges. The credit card company removed only the current month charge, but could not remove the rest. Emails to the Credit Diagnosis address are going back and forth, but now they are unable to find any record of my "membership". I believe there is some fraud involved here

I have been illegally charged 29.95 from these people. First it was suppose to be $1.00 and it ended up being 2 $1.00 one from them and one from yoursavingsclub.com I got NSF $28.00 x2 and then they DIDN'T refund me back my 1.00's. Then I cancel because I am so mad and then they charge me 29.95 AFTER I was confirmed cancelled. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. Can I get my money back? Has anyone been refunded?

I paid the dollar requested, when I got into the site, I couldn't get the diagnosis, a just dropped it. I got no ID # which is what they are asking for when I call them. Now I have my credit card statement, they have added a $29.95 charge for the month, and I have nothing for it. I don't want my credit checked once a month. I want my money returned.

Credit Diagnosis Ordered 3 in 1 Credit Rpt - Never Received

I was looking at a number of different credit reporting sites and found Credit Diagnosis. They had an add for a credit report which combined the 3 credit reporting agencies Trans Union, Equifax and Experian. Their temporary trial membership was $1.00 to join which was to be refundable. I joined on 9/4/2009. After providing them with my credit card information I was unable to access my report. They then charged me $29.95. which I didn't know until yesterday. I never was able to access my reports. Now they want additional personal information from me in order to verify my identity. It's a scam. I never gave them the okay to charge me $29.95. I will attempt to cancel my membership through my bank in the morning. I haven't been successful in contacting Credit Diagnosis hopefully Chase can stop further charges.

I posted on this board earlier this summer, and had since gotten all my money refunded. Which I was very happy about. Theay actually gave it all back within a two day period. However I did have to wind up getting my credit card de-activated as a result of continuos hits for $1.00 here and there every month, which never did stop! Good news the senate FInance Committe just had a meeting (which aired on C-Span 11/17/09) on Internet Sales Practices, and they have all become fully aware of this company! Not only this one but also about two dozen others that operate with fraudalent lures, or "phishes".. They will more than likely be en-acting legislation to shut these companies totally down, and according to Sen.Rockefeller D-West Virginia, "criminally prosecute these people" Even though the reps from credit diagnosis say "you should have read they fine print".. Apparently that is not good enough! The forum of senators attorneys and law professors all agreed that no one really actually reads the fine print, and that is simply not good enough! Especially for a service that you never wind up recieving yet still get charged for month after month after month, it is fraud! It has been recognized as such! I would not be at all surprised if the owners of this company go to jail in the future! Be on the lookout! Another practice that Credit Diagnosis uses is lures un-employed people to get a credit report for a $1.00 (that turns into a $29.95 charge every month) with an offer of employment, but they need this info first before an official offer is made and then bam! No job no credit report just charges every month..If anyone is interested ina class action suit we should unite.

Credit Diagnosis unauthorized chargeing on my debit card

I paid a dollar for my credit report and now monthly they are chargeing my debit card $ 30.00. I am on diusability and the surprize charges put me over my account withdrawl. I can't seem to find the right place or person to make it stop! Please sis to charge my account or I will go to the b.b.b. Then drang you into court for the over withdrawl's. as well as for the mental anguish and the fustration to try to locate the correct place to make it stop

WATCH OUT for CREDIT DIAGNOSTICS charges and their uncompromising supervisor.

I was billed $29.95 on the eighth day of the membership. I had cancelled on the 6th day. When I called the [protected], I ended up talking to the supervisor. She said that it showed I cancelled one membership which had my phone number. She said there was a second account which did not have my phone number which is active and being charged the $29.95.

She said I can cancel the 2nd account BUT I will not be refunded the $29.95. When I asked to speak to her supervisor or manager, she said she was the top person; there is no one above her. I said that I would write to her company and make a complaint. She dared me.

What a GREAT(?) customer service supervisor(?).

There seems to be two addresses for Credit Diagnostics:

Credit Diagnosis
9500 West Dodge Road
Suite 100
Omaha, NE [protected]

Address listed above in a prior complaint:

Credit Diagnosis
P.O. Box 5152
Des Plaines, IL [protected]

I'll write to them both.

An extremely dissatisfied customer,

Credit Diagnosis scam

I too have been wronged by credit diagnosis. I cancelled immediately after realizing I made a mistake and got the confirmation number. A month later the charges started showing up on my credit card, I tried to email them to tell them they charged my account when I received nothing. Cannot get ahold of them through the telephone and did not answer my emails. The next month they did it again and I had to contact the credit card company. I believe this company practices poor business tactics.

THEY ASKED FOR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND SOCIAL SECURITY # WHICH IS ILLEGAL. I FINALLY GAVE THEM THE LAST 4 DIGITS AND THEN THEY GAVE ME "TRANSUNION"'S PHONE NUMBER AND INSISTED THAT THAT IS WHERE I CALLED AND THAT THEY NEEDED MY SS# TO GIVE ME THE CREDIT REPORTS. I CALLED THAT # AGAIN AND THEY ANSWERED CRIDIT DIAGNOSIS. I GOT PLENTY OF RUNAROUNDS AND OTHER SPECIAL OFFERS BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY ARE A SCAM AND THEY ARE PFISHING FOR INFO ON PEOPLE. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY!

I got charged $29.95 for a something I signed up to see my credit report for a $1 for a 7-day trial period. I canceled that trial period in two days. Yet still got charged that 29.95! TWICE! Once from them and once from another company that I never even went to called PrivacyMatters.com. They are both scams. I doubt I will ever trust another online credit report service again.

Addendum to above comment:
When you call the toll free number I listed above...they will ask for phone number, email address or Credit Diagnosis account number...I gave them the account number...didn't feel a need to give them more of my personal info...they provided me with the reps name and a confirmation number which I have written down...they also emailed me a confirmation of cancellation with verification numbers...I will also keep that info...I have already spoken to my credit card company so they are aware...if I find charges from Credit Diagnosis on my credit card I will call my credit card company with all the pertinent info I have for cancellation of CD membership.
Hope this info has been helpful.

The actual phone number to cancel membership for Credit Diagnosis is [protected]. The phone number they list on their site to call for memebership cancellation is for Allstate. I had to call my credit card company to get the actual phone number.
I received an email from Credit Diagnosis with no information minutes after signing up...entirely blank...and then attempted to "easily and instantly" access my credit score info online only to find that it isn't so easy nor instant...required to enter SSN and other personal info. I called to cancel memebership within minutes of signing up (for "free" credit scores to be sent to my email within "seconds") only to find the number they list on their site for cancellation isn't theirs. I wonder if written complaints to the Attorney General's Office or to the Better Business Bureau would be helpful to cease this fraudulent company's practices.

Hello to my fellow victims:

My husband claims he wrote the comment above that begins, "My wife, not knowing any better..." even though it was posted nearly a year ago! LOL then cry!

Last night I gave up all my stats and got my credit report, which looks very legit, and my credit score. I should have seen the red flags when I had to enter my credit card number. Dumb dumb dumb!

AFTER I DID THIS I found all the sites reporting the scam/fraud! All those complaints made my hair stand on end. I'm usually so careful.

You can't find CreditDiagnosis at the Better Business Bureau. However, the "company" has morphed from http://www.free-credit-reports-instantly.com. The BBB reports that FCRI is no longer in business and it had, get this, a total of ONE employee! The BBB LOGO appears on the FCRI site but when you print the page you don't get all of the front page with the business name nor the IDENTIFYING yellow" sticky note" claiming it's only a dollar. The name appears on the second page but with a different a different address in Massachusetts, CreditDiagnosis is in Illinois now.

Though the printed page is lacking the company name and the yellow "sticky note" it shows up VERY NICELY on a photo I took of my computer screen! I copied every page I submitted last night. I'm a health care provider and kind of OCD about documentation!

I haven't felt the effects of this scam yet, but I bet they're in progress. I going to my insurance agent to get ID theft insurance and plan to notify my credit card and bank. Apparently this person has no qualms about selling our information!

I got charged for something I did not sign up for. I tried to call [protected] and when asked for a member ID number I entered report #[protected]. I got hold of someone named "Nova" who I spoke with. I proceeded to tell her my complaint. She sounded a little nervous when I explained to her what had happened. I asked that the charges be credited back to my account considering I did not authorize it and was given a confirmation number. I was told it would be credited in 3-5 business days. When I asked for a supervisor, I was forwarded to a "Cris" who I expected to give me a better answer than Nova considering he was her supervisor. I asked for reassurance that the amount be credited to my account asap as I did not authorize it. He said I'd get it back in 2-3 days. I also expressed disgust in the process where they charge people's debit/credit card without getting proper authorization and told them this was fraudalent, where he proceeded to argue and say there is apparently a difference in opinion. Of course there is! Anyway, I asked him for his Employee # and reassured me that my "membership" was cancelled... which in the first place I never signed up for!

Make sure you document every detail of the phone call! Cris did not want to give me his last name of course.

If you have given this company your debit card information change your bank account number. I had my debit card cancelled and they still got the money out of my account. And it isn't once a month, they did it 5 days apart. Do not give them any of your info.

My fiancee and I had signed up for a "free" trial period to check out this credit diagnosis site and see our credit reports. Little did we know that we would be charged $29.95 twice by two diferent people. We let the 3 $1.00 charges slide and figured it came with signing up but hey $3.00 who could be mad. But now we are pissed because that is $60.00 off our credit card that we never authorized these ###s to do. I have just caught it tonight and the charge was posted yesterday so I am hoping we caught it soon enough to fight and get our money back. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IT IS A SCAM AND I AM GLAD WE CAUGHT IT SOON ENOUGH!

Credit Diagnosis Unauthorized charges to credit card!

I contacted Credit Diagnosis to order credit reports from the three major credit-reporting entities. I was unable to get assistance from them online and to phone them. They asked for sensitive information on the phone, which is illegal. They requested my SSN, for example. After being able to print out my credit reports, the next day I have three emails saying I will be charged a fee if I DON'T CANCEL. I did not authorize them to charge my card(s) for anything.

Credit Diagnosis took $29.95 out of my credit card account without being authurized to do. They also took another$1.00 at a different date.
i have called them 3 times at [protected] and they indicate my money will be returned to my credit card account but as of now they have not done this.
I can not believe the laws in THE UNITED STATES allow any company to stay in business doing people this way.

Went to their site because they sent an email to me SUPPOSEDLY offering all 3 credit reports for a $1 refundable fee AND without my disclosing my SS#. They imediately had asked me for my SS#, credit card info (which I believe in itself is illegal) and I was charged 29.95 without my knowledge.

Privacy Matters Identity (www.privacymattersidentiy.com) is also a scam site which in turn also charged my debit card without my prior authorization or knowledge.

Is there a number and/or website I can report these sites so I can try and get my money back?

I have been charged since Nov07 a monthly fee for somthing I never subscribed to. When I called the supervisor scorned me like a parent scorns their kid as to why I wouldn't have noticed this being withdrawn from my account. I believe we are entitled to our refunds without issues especially if the accounts were not utilized. Anyone interested in combining our issues to make a class action suit against Credit Diagnosis and their malpractices?

I too fell victim to Credit Diagnosis and never received the free report I paid $1 for. I kept getting an error message: "Your request did not go through". Then I received an email stating they were aware that the request did not go through and if I click on the link below, it will take me to my credit report. Clicking the link only took me back to the error message. A month later, I saw a $29.95 charge on my account. Forget trying to figure out how to deal with the scamming company, go straight to your bank. They will take care of it...they've seen it before. My bank immediately canceled my debit card so that the company couldn't make any more charges. They also credited the $29.95 back to my account and took on the responsibility of going after Credit Diagnosis to get the money back. I had to wait 7-10 business days to receive my new debit card, but it was totally worth it.

To Whom this may concern.

I am writing because I had paid a little fee to try to find out what my credit score was. To my surprise I tried all ways to see what my score was, I filled answer after answer out and still no sight of a credit score I think this Credit Diagnosis is just a rip off and it only wants your card to take money out. I cancel my Membership ID, and also saving clubs membership which I had no knowledge about the saving until all my information was in. I am writing because I think people do have a right to know about things before they sign up for it. It should be made clear. Membership ID [protected] credit diagnosis, saving club membership ID [protected] have been cancel.

Sadly disappointed Sharon

Please. Please before signing up for any credit reporting agency do not sign up with this website www. creditdiagnosis.com. I sign up from this website on 06/11/10 just to check my credit report and after checking it I called them and cancelled it right away. I even got the name of the representative and a confirmation number and also an email stating my membership had been cancelled on 06/11/10. Well on after all this happen, the next thing I know they charged my card $1.00 on 6/14/10 and charged my credit $29.95 on 06/18/10. Ok now I have a problem. So please dont sign up for this website because this company is a rip off.
