Credit Acceptance Vehicle

I have called multiple times and no one will help me. I purchased a 2015 keep Cherokee I got a warranty on it, I am paying 20, 000 dollars for the vehicle. My vehicle had a recall on the computer I did not know about this the recall was for January 29th I bought my vehicle in March I the recall should have been done before I purchased vehicle or at least told me about because of this my cars computer went out and my head gaskets and engine mounts I have had thousands and thousands of dollars in this vehicle I have had it 4 months before it broke down, it has been broke down for 2 in a half months. It's one thing after another they sold me a vehicle that is no good. I am a mother of 4 I am having twins in a week and have no vehicle and have no car to bring my baby's home in. I have to buy a new car because my vehicle that is 20 grand don't work. They will not even let me trade it in. I am gonna have to give it back because I do not have money to fix it and my warranty will not cover things that need fix. I have talked to the dealership and they will do nothing for me and credit acceptance won't. I have been so stressed because I do not want dept but I can not afford thousands of dollars of mechanical work for my vehicle I am already paying 400 a month for. I am on pregnancy leave and can't do this anymore I got the vehicle because I thought it was reliable I have seems 3 mechanics and have had to tow my vehicle 4 times because it don't run. Every time I take it somewhere something else is wrong with it. It is not fare for me this is not right the vehicle should have had the recalles and everything done to it before they sold it to me

Desired outcome: Trade in or pay to fix it

My car was repoed by Bull dog towing and put up for auction when I redeemed my vehicle from Maheim auction it was severely damaged the whole front clip was hanging off as well as the inside step panel and rear bumper damage, and license plate was missing. I couldn't drive it home in that condition so me and my friend rigged it up with duct tape and luggage straps My Car Was Not That Way When They Towed It. Credit Acceptance Communication/ follow up

I've been trying to reach credit acceptance to find out where iam at as far as the 90 day payment extension I was given. Every time I call I don't get an answer they start finding a new way for me to go about my payment. Please send me letters or call . I'm still in the process of finding financial assistance due to COVID-19. I need some more time to at least make half of the payment with the new stimulus coming up.

Credit Acceptance Warranty Company/Credit Acceptance

I bought a Car June 12th, 2020 from Scott Clark Nissan on South Blvd. The car was running fine. Around August /September my tire pressure light came on with the Check Engine light and then the lights just kept coming on Periodically. I took the car back several times they put air in my tires and said because it was a newer Honda it happens. Well needless it kept happening with other lights and I took it to a Honda place where they recommended some work. Well I took the list back to Scott Clark Nissan and they wanted to Charge me. Now it has came as of July 3rd; 2021 my car will not pass inspection due to the lights on (CheckEngine) called Warranty company they were ver unpleasant to speak to. I do not know what to do but paying for a warranty company that refuses to fix items that do control major parts of your car and paying for a car I can't drive due to this is not what I signed up for. Very unhappy! Chelsea Matthews

Credit Acceptance vehicle

i purchased a 2015 chevy sonic from patriot auto group. They use credit acceptance as the lender. I paid 1400$ for extended warranty. They also told me it was a 1 owner car and never been wrecked.Well come to find out the car started out as a rental car in wisconsin and been thru 4 owners before making its way to Oklahoma. The lady that had it before me wrecked it totaled it come to find out it has no air bags still has glass from the back shield laying in the back and she had traded it in the day prior to them selling it to me. The car was in the shop every month since I got it. My warranty ran out not even 3 months in. To top it off it was suppose to be 5000$ well they financed me 10, 000$ charged me 8, 000$ in interest and the car is only worth 2500$. Now they claim the car still has their lien on it and still trying to charge me for the car.

Desired outcome: i just want my lien release and the title cleared or a better car paid off

Credit Acceptance Unethical behavior

My husband has a loan through Credit Acceptance. His car was repossessed after one missed payment, which he had the money to pay. His automatic payment did not go through. There was no phone call made to him. If there would have been he could have paid it and resolved the issue with his bank. Now he is being told that he needs to pay the remaining balance to get the car back which is over $9, 000. I just spoke with a representative in the repo department and she explained that it is different for every customer. This leads me to believe that the company is discriminatory based on the fact that my husband is Hispanic. This is simply unacceptable. Then I was hung up on by the rep. I am in leadership/management with a very reputable finance company and we treat every customer with respect and treat them all the same. I work with leases every day. Many times we have to repo a vehicle but the customer is given plenty of notice and time to resolve any outstanding balance. Like I stated before, this could have been taken care of in a moments notice and would have saved a lot of time, effort, and mental stress. I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me immediately. This is just not the way to do business. This is unethical. You can reach me at [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: The vehicle should be returned and the payment can be made.

Credit Acceptance Credit fraud!!!

Credit acceptance agreed to report the current status of my account when I notified them that I loss my job due to covid and would need to make payment adjustments. The representative from credit acceptance then told me that they were offering a service in which would help people affected from the global pandemic : they would not report negative data to the credit bureaus such as late payments, etc. Instead, they would mark your credit report as "natural disaster", thus protecting your account from any damage. Since then, credit acceptance has not accurately reported the status of my account when I notified them that I needed to adjust payments. They are incorrectly reporting that I was 60 days late. I notified them in march 2020 and before march 2020, I had not missed a payment. I still paid after notifying them. Despite losing my job, I was able to pay off $11k worth of car debt on 7/06/20, thus paying the loan in full and closing my account. By 11/2020, credit acceptance begin reporting to the credit bureaus that I was 60 days late on payments and that my account was still being affected by natural disaster. It is now january 2021, I have called and sent several disputes. Through my efforts, several credit bureaus removed the remarks added by credit acceptance, those remarks being : "60 days late" and "natural disaster".
Yet credit acceptance keeps adding the remarks, even though i've had them removed.
Please help me! Credit acceptance's actions has managed to drop my credit score 60+ points despite me paying off the loan in full, closing the account, being affected by covid - yet protected by a category labeled as "natural disaster" and me reporting to credit acceptance at the time when my account was in good standing.
Credit acceptance refuses to remove the remark they added, I have tried everything.
Every time I have the remark removed, credit acceptance adds it back, despite my account being closed and paid in full nearly a year ago.

Desired outcome: To have Credit Acceptance please remove the remark : "60 Days Late". My account is paid & closed, and at the time I notified Credit Acceptance I needed to adjust payments due to COVID, my account was in good standing.

Credit Acceptance Vehicle purchase

I put 5000.00 down and have been paying 236.00 a month and they say I owe them like 1300.00 past due and have been paying for 3 years... my pay off is still nearly 8000.00 or more? You do the math on a 2016 Hyundai Accent. This is crazy. I have well paid for the value of the car.

Desired outcome: Free and clear ownership

Credit Acceptance Help with lower payments

In august of last year, I had an accident in the car that I am paying the payments to credit acceptance. I have talked to numerous of workers since last year and they all have given me all types of lies. I am still making payments on the car, which is not a problem, I just asked can they lower my payments since I don't have the car anymore. Some workers told me that they would help me and they never did. Some workers told me to contact the dealer that I got the car from. Once doing that numerous of times, they told me to contact credit acceptance because they are the ones that will help me with the payment changes. Credit acceptance is a terrible company that tell you lies so much and the workers have very rude responses. I have no problem continuing to pay on the car, but I just want to lower the payments due to me not having the car anymore.

Credit Acceptance fraudulent car loan

This company is horrible. They have me co-signed on a loan for a car that was bought in Wyoming...but I live in NC and have never even been to Wyoming! I've called them to try and get my name taken off this loan and was met with an extremely rude associate that basically told me she could do nothing.

After spending months tracking down the contract to the car that I don't own, I've filed multiple disputes with credit agencies showing them that the signature on the contract does not match those on my legal documentation. Each time the credit agencies contact Credit Acceptance and they reply back with the information is correct (yet they don't contact me to confirm). I've filed a police report, FTC formal report, and submitted all this in writing to their disputes department just to get the same letter I always get...the information they are providing is correct. I don't know what to do anymore to try and get this taken off. It has adversely affected my credit because whoever the car loan is in they missed multiple payments. My credit history is stellar aside from this stupid account...I've never missed a payment in my entire life!

Credit Acceptance fraudulent charge

I do not even have an account with this company and they made FOUR fraudulent charges to my bank account today (10/28/19). One for $2, 000, one for $130, and two separate charges for $3.95. I called the company and verified I do NOT even have an account with them! My auto loan is with another company and the monthly payment is scheduled for auto pay, and was paid ten days ago. When I called the number, they said there's nothing they can do and disputes of their charges must go directly through my bank. Of course I already had called my bank to file disputes, but not even an apology or reason for these charges. INSANE! This company is terrible

Credit Acceptance auto pay

I am in a bind and no one cares! I am set up on a certain amount per pay period but elected to do more this one time to catch up. They drafted the same amount out this time because they are saying I didn't call to put the payment back to the normal amount. Why not reverse the credit and let me pay what I normally pay! You don't know what bond you are putting a person in. With the hustle n bustle is work and home life it's human to err! I called and called and no one was willing to reverse the money and let me pay what I normally pay! So dissatisfied!

My name is Anna Smith. I financed through CAC in 2017 . I was late on payment and the repo guy drug my car 140 yards and my tires were damaged badly in the process. You can still see how new they were besides the super bald ruined parts. I have pictures of everything, start to end, and the pics show how sloppy and lazy the tow guy was. Please call me and I can explain all the details for you. [protected]

Credit Acceptance car

The Kia Rio was advertised for $5200. I was advised by the dealership that the total amount with taxes will take me to about $6000. In which I wanted to pay in cash . But I was advised by the dealership that if I financed the car it will help to build my credit scores. I then asked the dealer would this affect my payments and he stated, " No, as long as you pay before the 6 months period." He didn't give any paper work to me on that day so I went back the next day to get paperwork. This is when I noticed that the figures was not right. It had increased from the original amount. I then asked for my refund he said, "you have to get it from the bank" This is why I am filing this complaint. Below is a picture of the car and the original price. Account number: [protected]

Credit Acceptance the 2011 gmc terrain that was financed through credit acceptance

When I bought this car I had it for 1 month before it start to mess up. And I called credit acceptance ask them could I trade the car in they said no it was between me and dealership so I ask them and they said no. Well anyways they checked it the dealership and said that I needed and oul change so I did that but they told me that they change the oil when I bought it. So I go on after another month r more I hear loud knocking so I called them smelled like something was burning so I was taking it back on my way the car broke down on the side of the road so my sister sat with me until someone from the dealership came and we got there. My motor was messed up it went in the shop I got a rental car. After that was done about about a month later camshaft went out after that was fixed couple of months later transmission went out nothing was working still was having to get oil checked frequently because of the burning smell. Till 2 months ago 2019 in February I took the car back because the transmission was going out on the car again and I called credit acceptance to let them know that was done paying a car note and fixing the car sense I bought it and the lady went off on me telling me that I need to go pickup that car and they would pickup from me and I told her no because its note drivable for me to keep it r go get it that they need to go get it and they said they will not pick it up and it will be on my credit and it was the next day. So I'm complaining about the poor customer service and why was I paying 15, 000 dollars for a 9, 000 dollar car and why did I get sold a lemon and know one what to help r work with me about this car. I would like for this to be handled and if u look at my payments they were on time even though I was getting this car fixed.
