Cracker Barrel General manager

I believe that this crackel barrel needs a new GM because he constantly goes around disrespecting everybody that work there. last Wednesday on 12/12/19, I caught the GM taking out new dishes from a box which came off the truck and put it on the kitchen line and didnt even wash it and the other dishwasher named Connor was beside me when he did it, and thats getting customers sick. when I was washing dishes, he told me not to scrub the dishes and put it in the dish mashine then it still came out dirty? everytime its busy and there's only 2 dishwashers in the morning, he'll leave me in the back and make the other dishwasher bus tables. after I left, a individual told me that the GM said I was different from everybody? I have employees telling me at the Monday meeting that they dont want none of the employees wearing airbuds but after my last day, I hear there's people still wearing them? im the only employee he has a problem with wearing airbuds, I believe he doesnt like me and he wanted me to quit. he has a beef thing with me and I never started it, when I first started working at crackel barrel, I was doing my job. there's alot of favoritism there and he's not a great GM. he treated me and the dishwashers like crap, we basically do everything at crackel barrel. at this month, there's about 5 or 6 people that quitted at that store.

I also had a run in with a cracker barrel manager named Marty at the Battle Creek Cracker barrel!
When I tried to explain that I wasn't happy, he kept asking me what did I wanted him to do. Every time I explained what the problem was and that the server was already taking care of it, he would repeat "what did I wanted him to do about it"
I finally got mad and said You ARE NOT Listening to what I am saying!
He needs to retrained on Management Skills

Cracker Barrel theft

My Wallet was Stolen on Thanksgiving Day with everything of value to me now I'm replacing everything from Credit Cards at my own expense and all Management can say is Shame on whomever took it and then I was taken off of the work schedule for being upset cause I was robbed. Yes I was upset as my entire life was in there and it's not fair that I be the one to Contuine to take a loss so I want a invegestation for the truth, I will be making a police report and will prosecute, There are no Cameras in the employee breakroom there is one close but NO ONE brothered to even look at it everyone is there for the same reason to work for a living not to worry about another person to steal from them it is Managment's job to ensure all employess property and person is safe in the work place

No you're the fool I don't care about what they're allowed it's their responsibility to see that their emploees feel safe in all areas including break room especially if they want you to expose everything in your purse by carrying a clear purse so you're the fool for even answering and being judgemental and really don't understand

Cracker Barrel I'm complaining about the terrible quality of food you serve your customers.! : (

I'm not a happy camper. I'm disappointed that I cant leave less than 1 star. My waitress was very nice and customer friendly. However the food I was served was beyond terrible. Probably without a doubt the worse food I've ever been served. I ordered a Western Omelet the order came with toast and hash browns with a side of grits. Everything on the plate was swimming in grease. The entire plate had grease covering the whole plate. The waitress was understanding she took the plate back and said don't worry about the bill we'll take the meal off. When the bill came I was still charged separately for the hash browns and toast even tho I was told they were included with the meal. To make a long story short, I'll never stop or eat at another Cracker Barrel ever in my life. Very disappointed in the quality of the food they served. Cracker Barrel was so desperate to make money that they had to itemized every item separately to still try and squeeze a buck out of you.

I am very disappointed in your Thanksgiving meal. I got 2 carry outs, and I know you are busy that day, but, they need to make sure the order is right. We received NO gravy on the mashed potatoes, NO cranberry relish, and NO HAM on either plate. The potatoes were like paste. Very, very disappointed in the whole meal.

Cracker Barrel Unprofessional service

My parents, my wife, and my children visit to this location often, and have done so for years. We arrived around 1:45 - 2:00 pm, and after waiting over an hour 1/2, my father first, and mom second went in to check the list, because nobody but us were left outside. Mom was trying to explain to a young male host, but a rude floor manager interrupted multiple times very rudely. She told mom, they didn't have a table for 5, but mom quickly pointed out, there were 3 empty tables of "4", and all they needed was a chair added. So, the male host obliged, as we had done this before many times before. We sat there for over 15 min, and no waiter came to help us, mom even witnessed the female floor manager looking and smirking, as wait staff looked on at us. I was so embarrassed and upset, I told them let's go, we don't deserve this treatment, and Desoto needs them to do better because, good business equals tax revenue. Mom spoke with the GM, and he apologized for the poor service, we left and ate at the Cotton Patch Restaurant, where service was great. I thought it was very interesting, my parents never told anyone at Cracker Barrel they're friends of Desoto's mayor. ( I wanted my praline pecans like always but this upset me so bad, I was mad to tears )

Cracker Barrel Service

I was at the Cracker Barrel on the Beltline Road location, which I patronize frequently, today November 16, 2019. I ordered the the Double meat breakfast, as I always do for breakfast. I asked for one pancake instead of biscuts. The waitress, who I did not know, said nothing about that there was a $3.99 upcharge for the pancake. I definitely would have paid that much for one little pancake. The male manager, the guy with a beard, came over and said there was no substitutions and he would not take the charge off. I told him I had not a problem in the past. He stated "this is how I was trained". I told him I would not ever be back and that was fine with him. I am a retired retail manager and you need to train your manager that there are two rules of thumb to go by.
1. The customer is always right.
2. If the customer is not right refer to rule number one.

When I was checking out Diane, who knows us well, was at the register. As always she was very pleasent as asked if our meal was good. I told her about the situation and she offered to call the manager and ask him to take it off. I told her I had already talked with him and he would not take it off because thats how he was trained. I told her I would never be back.
I hope the $3.99 charge is worth loosing my families business.

Cracker Barrel Managers

Managers lied on an employee about stealing steaks even having conversations with other employees about the loss prevention. The employee did take food but accused the employee of taking cases of stakes. Never even checked the employee bag when walked out, offered him to cook chicken all on the clock. All managers including Kristina Tammy Daniel never checked the employees bag to see what food the employee had in his bag but accused the of stealing cases of steaks to make the situation go away and put it all on that employee and terminated that employee along with making the employee pay money back, just to save the cooks and managers job. They made the employee sign papers giving no papers back in return. Coporate says they have the employee on camera eating and taking food but not ONE time a manager has told that employee or even checked that employees bag to even see if that employee had steaks. Managers would even let that employee step outside on the clock and smoke before another manger comes.

Cracker Barrel Management refusing to assist with separation notice

I have been calling for over a week and asking for a separation notice but Everytime I do they not only tell me they can't help me but are also incredibly rude to me with horrible attitudes! I can't even get in touch with anyone in home office to help me after leaving messages and sending emails! I need a separation notice and it shouldn't be this hard to obtain one!

Cracker Barrel Salad & take home pecan pie

Visited 11/01/10; Ticket E 8363; Tbl 241/; Gst 2, 12:32 PM.
Ordered: Fried Turkey w/ grn bean cass & water. No complaint, very good meal.
Ordered: Fried Ckn Salad w/Ranch & water. No so good. Ranch dressing to spicy, replaced with Honey Mustard, excellent. The lettuce was old, brown and limp. Server only checked on us once, other times we had to run her down. Ordered a piece of Pecan Pie to split - very good, nice & warm. So we ordered a take home Pecan Pie. When we ordered to slice of Pecan Pie I pointed out the iceberg lettuce being bad. I ate the other lettuce and ignored the iceberg. The sever note it was bad and said she would tell the KM. When she brought the pie she also brought back a plate of lettuce to be added to my chicken I was taking home. When we returned to Carthage, MO I remembered the pie and cut 2 pieces out only to find out it was Chocolate Pecan not Pecan Pie. Not crazy about the Chocolate, too much chocolate taking away from the favor of the Pecan Pie. Meal came to $38.34 plus a $5.00 tip. We would like a refund or a gift certificate. It's not the servers issue on the pie, she picked up a labeled "Pecan Pie" not a labeled "Chocolate Pecan Pie." Bakery fault in mis-labeling.

Cracker Barrel hamburger steak meat

We live in Wisconsin and have a daughter who lives in Boone, NC. We travel there at
least 3 times a year. Crawfordville, Ind. is our half way point, coming and going!
I always get the Hamburger steak meal. It was always wonderful! This time it was
loaded with garlic. I or my wife could stand it! What happened? I was told that the home office decided to add garlic to your steaks. What a shame. Please change your policy back to the original!

Cracker Barrel grandpa’s country fried breakfast

Seriously?!? You replace a big piece of fresh made fried chicken with frozen, bland, chicken tenders? Why? Are you trying to push customers away? Do you think we are that stupid and won't see that your trying to cut corners to make a few extra bucks? Just stop it already! If it is not broke, leave it alone. Stick to what your known for. Homemade comfort food. Keep it up and your going to start loosing loyal clients that have been coming to you for years because of what you serve.

Cracker Barrel fire place

I have only work at Cracker Barrel for 2 weeks (including computer training). The employees are fine but. I have asthma, and the fire place causes me to have what is like a smokers cough. I do not smoke. I DID tell several people including trainers the fireplace was causing me trouble. I have woke up twice with breathing problems due to being congested because of all of the smoke in there. I have been coughing and can not take it. Other employees told me they have to take sinus meds all winter. I had to call and tell them I was not coming back. A customer told me they smoke, and they could not handle the smoke. If the fireplace was not sending smoke out into the restaraunt there, I would have kept the job because I love serving.

Cracker Barrel customer service

I attempted to place a to go order, and was left to feel as if I wasn't important enough. I called 3 times, all 3 times Melondie, I assume whom wad the cashier answered. The first time being transferred to an answer machine, I chalk up to a common mistake. I called back an explained to Melondie what happened, and she transferred to an answer machine again. I attempted a 3rd time and once again to my surprise, Melondie answered, mind you in the 3 attempts I've explained that she has transferred me to an answer machine, her response was to let her transfer me. I then ask to speak with a manager, and after a long wait someone named Pam came to the phone to tell me they were busy but she could now take my order.

Cracker Barrel Food, service, management

25 min for server to great, did nit come back. Flagged down another server who took our order, 45 minutes for oder to arrive cold and dry from heat lamp, manager said sorry, we're busy. Check were presented with incorrect charges that belonged to some one else. Having 45 years experience in f&b this was the most deplorable experience I have encountered in decades. Shame!

Cracker Barrel sunrise sampler

I order a sunrise sampler. It did not have grits, apples, or sawmill gravy. Not sure how this was missed. Called and talked to the manager and they are no help trying to have me come back and get those items, while the rest of my food is already cold.. I am so done with CRACKER barrel. How do you have a meal that you don't know what comes in it. Manager was no help at all and Im out of 15 for a 5 dollar meal I could have gotten at ihop or dennys for half the price.

Cracker Barrel food and service

I called in at 4:48pm on 10/15/, placed the order for two meals and was told I could pick it up in 15 minutes. Arrived at 5pm, paid and was told by the lady at the counter that my order would be right out. I stood in the lobby and saw three take out customers who was not there when I arrived get their orders. At 5:15 the lady at the counter said she would call back to kitchen about my order, and once again told me it would be right out. 5:35pm the manager brought the bags supposedly containing my order out. I told him I was very disappointed about such poor service, since the store was not even busy at the time. I told him I did not think it was acceptable for a customer to wait 35 minutes past the time the food was promised-he agreed. He said what did I expect him to do, shrugged his shoulders and headed back to the dining room without waiting for a response.

Cracker Barrel Service and food was bad

I recently ate at this location we waited for 45 minutes for food no contact with the big butt braided hair waitress.She just let us sit there with out coming back to let us know there was a wait. a Black girl our waitress anyways finally we had to get another server to go and find her she finally came back after 45 minutes to tell us she never put the ticket in and there was a mix up. We ask for the manager so

We could lodge a complaint and get our food comp she never got the manager at all so we ate and did not leave a tip for poor service.And the food made us sick .We will never ever return to this place again for a meal or a peppermint this is the worst place ever bad food and service.

Cracker Barrel My whole disappointing lunch

I typically love Cracker Barrel food by this was a huge disappointment. I was disappointed to find the chicken fried chicken was now a new product — it was thicker than before and had different breading. Definitely not as good as the original - which is no longer made. I feel there should be a choice.
My waitress (who had zero personality) brought out the chicken without the sawmill gravy on it. When I asked her, she brought some gravy out in a tiny dish. — not enough but I didn't bother asking for more.
The baby carrots were barely lukewarm & mushy-they also had white flecks - looking like they were old. The turnip greens had no flavor and were almost cold.
The only thing that was good were the mashed potatoes. However, I had asked to have butter on them — I had to ask again for that as well. She brought out quite hard cornbread muffins with 2 containers of butter on that dish. I had to ask for more butter and jelly. Typically jelly is brought out with the muffins.
I did complain to the manager who seemed apologetic but not enough to comp me or give me a discount — not that I wanted one. He did not say anything to indicate he would rectify the vegetable issue or anything else.

Cracker Barrel homestyle chicken

My husband normally order Homestyle chicken on Sunday but when he ordered it...he stated that it was cooked too hard and none of the veggies had any seasoning on it tasted like they were poured out the container...Our waitress even stated that she was hard of hearing her name was Taylon... Our
church family normally visit cracker barrel in Hot Springs every Sunday after services and we want be going back the quality of the food and service has changed ... My wife is a cook and has cooked in restaurants and she knows about adding seasoning too knock the freshness out the canned veggies... Cracker barrel is known for having good veggies but that has even changed they put too much meat in the greens and their beans

Cracker Barrel your new sunday fried chicken

I sure hope you can take this idea from A life long customer, one that travels, and has visited many of your restaurants. I'm afraid you've missed it on your new Sunday fried chicken batter, that's also used on everything else that fried, it's too thick, and too hard, and often too salty. Then attempting to eat something with it on it, it crumbles off, and is a mess to eat, often leaving abrasions in one mouth. I believe it might be better for your restaurant to ease back a little closer to the original batter.

Cracker Barrel Black berry on the side for pancakes

I pored the black berries on my pancakes chewed and and swallowed pieces of Thorne's. I took a picture and now I'm on my way to the ER. The manager had the nerve to ask me with a smerk on his face do I need a tooth pick. I don't need a tooth pick I need a lawyer.. I still paid half the bill with no problem. I'm sitting in my car right now trying to swallow.. I do have photos. [protected]
