Restaurant was REDICULOUSLY sweltering HOT and uncomfortable from totally unnecessary fire burning in fireplace. Management should be aware location is Florida, after all.
Food less than appealing. Gravy on country fried steak, mashed potatoes rounded out what seemed to be afternoon leftovers.
Unable to get refill on water from overworked server.

Pitifully understaffed. The restaurant has about 40% capacity filled and the wait was 15 minutes. We have been seated along with many others who have not being to be served. Firstly - I am a long-time fan of Craker Barrel! I also want you to know exactly why I am very dissappointed. Placed online order on Dec 22-2019 at 1513 hrs for pickup at 1600 at store #42- Columbia, S.C. Arrived at store at 1555 and was soon told (turkey dinner was not available, no phone call)! I said I would take grilled chicken instead. At 1620 hrs I was contemplating asking for refund and asked to see a manager and I spoke with a very busy young man that was unaware I was waiting on my food, he took my receipt and dissappeared into the kitchen. My food arrived at 1630 hrs by another employee who had no idea what was going on. Upon unpacking and checking our food order I was even more dissappointed at the inaccuracy to fill our order. I am listing the accuracy issues in the order of our receipt, photos attached below. Fried Turkey Dinner (not available). Meatloaf dinner (meatloaf charred and no mac and cheese pics attached). We ordered bisquits and got nothing. Vegetable plate (house salad with ranch on side, we got nothing).in pictures you will see my receipt and food photos at least what we got. Normally you guys do a great job and we have always been happy - tonight we are at the polar opposite of that.in total our check was $42.81, I just dont feel like this is somthing normal to your business and I wanted someone to know what happened.

Chicken and items on the menu not available because according to the server the trucks didn't bring in the food
Went in to eat and ordered kale salad and Brussels sprout salad also squash casserole was also not available due to the fact that the truck did not bring in the ingredients for the last 2 days according to the server. Ordered: Fried Ckn Salad w/Ranch & water. No so good. Ranch dressing to spicy, replaced with Honey Mustard, excellent. The lettuce was old, brown and limp. Server only checked on us once, other times we had to run her down. Ordered a piece of Pecan Pie to split - very good, nice & warm. So we ordered a take home Pecan Pie. When we ordered to slice of Pecan Pie I pointed out the iceberg lettuce being bad. I ate the other lettuce and ignored the iceberg. The sever note it was bad and said she would tell the KM. When she brought the pie she also brought back a plate of lettuce to be added to my chicken I was taking home. When we returned to Carthage, MO I remembered the pie and cut 2 pieces out only to find out it was Chocolate Pecan not Pecan Pie. Not crazy about the Chocolate, too much chocolate taking away from the favor of the Pecan Pie. Meal came to $38.34 plus a $5.00 tip. We would like a refund or a gift certificate. It's not the servers issue on the pie, she picked up a labeled "Pecan Pie" not a labeled "Chocolate Pecan Pie." Bakery fault in mis-labeling.

We live in Wisconsin and have a daughter who lives in Boone, NC. We travel there at
least 3 times a year. Crawfordville, Ind. is our half way point, coming and going!
I always get the Hamburger steak meal. It was always wonderful! This time it was
loaded with garlic. I or my wife could stand it! What happened? I was told that the home office decided to add garlic to your steaks. What a shame. Please change your policy back to the original!
