Courts Singapore Woodlands staff Thomas Tong

Out of so many courts we have been & made purchases from, Thomas Tong of Woodlands' courts is a very unprofessional staff.
Firstly he made us wait long, yet after he was back he has never checked the product availability. He then made us wait again to check availability of the item.
He also cannot accept ‘no' and explanation from customers, raised his voice on me just because he want to upsell the extended premium warranty!
He then threaten to just proceed the sales as it is and dont need to wait for my fiance who picked up an important call, then asked us to go to cashier while sending other customers before us to the cashier, without even telling us where the cashier is.
He is fortunate enough we still go theough with the sales!

Courts Singapore Very horrible and terrible service by delivery guy

Dear Person in Charge

I recently bought a washing machine and dryer, and I was frightened by the rascal attitude of the delivery man. They don't want to help move the washing machine and dryer upstairs. They kept saying that they couldn't move it because the stairs were blocked. We have taken it away.! They still don't move! As a result, our workers moved the washing machine upstairs. I told them that you said that you cannot move the washing machine upstairs. Our staff has already moved, and now it is your turn to move the dryer up.
But they insisted on not bringing the dryer, they were super rude, and the attitude of yelling at us was intimidating. We told him not to be aggressive towards us. If your continue to do this to us, we will call the police because this is terrible! They also videotaped us and continued to take pictures of us! He threatened us that if we called the police, they would take everything away. When my manager called his supervisor, they entered our residence without our permission and took away the washing machine and dryer! Will your COURTS be responsible if something is missing? What kind of rubbish rude attitude!

Looking back on the process that happened just now, it was terrible! We believe that our lives are threatened! Because they are very vicious, they took our videos and photos of each person. We are really scared of them. Please ask them to delete our videos and photos, otherwise we will report the police when we see that there are broadcasts on the Internet. And will you COURTS (Singapore) Pte Ltd be responsible if we and the restaurant are harmed? And they also did not wear a mask properly to expose their nose and mouth outside.

We don't want to ask for this product anymore! Please give us a refund! We are too scared! Please arrange as soon as possible.

I sincerely hope that you can look into this matter and give your loyal Courts Supporter a fair follow up.

Thanks for your time and attention.
Regards,
Joe Ng

Courts Singapore AC system and customer service

I had an AC system installed by Courts. Since installation I have had nothing but constant issues with this system. The installers did a poor and sloppy job, and most of the repairmen sent out by Courts did poor jobs - either they did a temporary quick fix which did not properly solve the issue, diagnosed the wrong issue, or did not bring the proper equipment, which meant sending out repairmen again, usually different contractors unfamiliar with the issue, and delaying repairs by several weeks. The customer service lady, Megan, was incredibly unhelpful and refused to even book an appointment slot for the repairmen to come out. When I asked her to put me through to her manager, she refused also, stating that 'there is no manager here'. Getting an earliest appointment typically takes 1-2 weeks which means that, each time they delay fixing my AC, I have to go without a proper sleep for 1-2 weeks. Absolutely terrible customer service, installation job, and repair services.

I want Courts to step up their customer service, provide a next-day repair service for emergency situations (e.g. as in my case, where all AC systems are not working at all), and send the same contractors who know what they are doing and with the proper equipment to avoid delays.

Courts Singapore Dusty fans at level 1 staff entrance

Hi Courts Megastore (Tampines) Management,

Please get your cleaner to clean these 2 dusty fans at level 1 staff entrance. There's no point to turn on these 2 fans that are clogged up with dust. It's a torture to let all the staffs stand and wait for the only lift with sweat in such poor ventilation area.

Thank you.

Courts Singapore Horrible rude service by delivery guy and customer service executive asyiklin service executive - a

Dear incharge,

Your customer service staff Asyiklin has gone too far by her super rude behaviour after your customer service mgr Elton was unable to solve the mistakes they made.

I have been a loyal supporter for buying electrial stuff from Courts and this year alone, i have spend over jun n july over $11, 000, i hv receipts to prove. To further my support, i hv recently purchased a washing machine this week online n was alarmed by the delivery guy Azmar 's hooligan attitude and didnt wanted to help put the dryer on top of the new washer and was super rude and havin intimidating attitude to my wife n told my wife if not happy juz refund. Despite my wife called his supervisor, after his supervisor talk to him, he stil refuse n took the washing machine away.

Learning this, i called up courts customer service to rectify d problem thinking its 3rd party logistics n not within the control of courts. To my horror, its actually staff from Courts. Wanting to seek an explaination from Courts, I told Arlene, the customer service staff that i will like to speak to the mgr to address my frustration n only to do a refund if they can refund within the same day. To my horror, before any mgr called me, a refund was done! Nvm, i finally managed to get Elton who try to help but unfortunately, he cant and finally gave up asking me to juz accept what is done.

I don't think that is being fair to a supportive customer, right? Worst to come, after i told Elton I dont accept this arrangement n will like to speak to his superior. Instead of getting his superior to call me, he gotten a customer service executive Asyiklin to call me. This Lady is the WORST cust service i hv seen in my life! Asking me to accept whatever is done n I cannot speak to any mgr! What kind of rubbish rude attitude!

I sincerely hope that you can look into this matter and give your loyal Courts Supporter a fair follow up.

Thanks for your time and attention.

Regards,
Jason

Courts Singapore Aircon service done terribly

1 year plus ago, I bought my aircon unit from Courts. When the installer came to my house for installation, they mentioned that they have to reuse the pipe as they can't build new one due to my cabinet blocking and they can't drill any new hole due to restriction. I trusted them and signed off to reuse my existing pipe.

1 month ago, my aircon started blowing hot air and I decided to get your technician down to check. They told me that the issue is with gas leakage and it could be due to the compressor or the pipe leakage. They checked and ask why was the pipe not replaced when it could have been done after their assessment, but I told them I have no idea but I trusted the installer opinion and signed off to not build new one. (Now I get to know that your installer was going the easy way out by proposing to reuse my pipe. Scammed by your installer)

Now coming back to my aircon issue, the technician suggested coming back with the right equipment to check if it's a gas leakage on the pipe or the compressor the next time round. I agreed to that and told them to arrange for one.

2 weeks later they sent another technician (after I repeatedly called your hotline for someone to come and inspect my aircon), the technician confirmed that it was a pipe leakage and told me that it is not part of the extended warranty coverage since I reused my pipe. He even recommended us to get an external vendor to do it instead as Courts charges at a premium for such services.

Now I have paid $1400 to get my gas pipe fixed and guess what? The issue persist. I have wasted $1400 for an unnecessary procedure with my issue not resolved.

I am very disgusted by the service provided by your team. I chose to buy my aircon from your company, paying a premium for a better service but this is what I get in return.

I want my compressor to be replaced given that I still have my extended warranty at the quickest possible. Your team have wasted both my time and my money unnecessarily and I don't think you should continue doing that.

Desired outcome: I want my compressor replace without delay

Courts Singapore Delivery of online purchase item #865110420120

Hi Courts Team, I would like to complain for your system as well as your delivery team today 05-Aug-2021.
First, at my Invoice or when I order this item online, I did state my shipping addressee is my name then company name. But when I called your Customer Service, she said there is no company name at your system or at delivery address stated. This becomes issue when the delivery team cannot find my office, because the building security guard only know my company name (of course not my name).
Second, your delivery team did call me, but never tried to message me. Nowadays there are many scam calls so that I am scared to receive calls from unknown numbers. Please understand this. Please inform your delivery team also message the recipient besides calling.
Now the more disappointing me that my item will be only delivered next week. It is very dissapointing service from Courts Singapore. I will complain this online if there is no positive respond or at least deliver my item by tomorrow. Thank you for your attention.

Desired outcome: Delivery item tomorrow or by this week

Courts Singapore Maxcoil storage bedframe

I'm purchased Brand MaxCoil Sofa $1699, Mattress $1999 and Make To Order MaxCoil Bed Frame $1099 + installation $30 from Courts Tampines on 7 June and make a full payment, my delivery date was initially set to 15 July, but when I call to change it to 22 July on early July. MaxCoil's salesgirl Irene told me there cannot confirm due to the Indonesia lockdown, so I was thinking to change to another brand, but she told me cannot be done. I told them I'm moving to my first new house on 25 July, but 5 minutes later Irene called me again and mention there is a stock for me. Then I want her to make sure for me all my stuff is brand new which Irene and Penny (both Maxcoil promoters) ensured that all the items are brand new.

To double confirm, I still went down to Courts Tampines on 18 July and to make sure which my item is brand new, and the Person in Charge Jason who attitude was very bad to me when I change my Mattress to others brand, and he do not allow me to change my bed frame and guarantee to me that my bed frame was brand new. 19 July I went down again to Courts Tampines to meet their Manager to make sure my bed frame and sofa are brand new because I paid for made to order. Salesgirl Elieen and the manager told me that the item guarantee is new because the item was made to order. Today this was what I get when the item comes. (ref to photo)

The funny thing is when I told the installer guy I cannot accept these and take photos to show MaxCoil's sales, the guy still can call the installer why they never clean up for that before I see.

I immediately when down to Courts Tampines and ask for a refund, MaxCoil person in charge Jason and all their teams no one apologize to me. Luckily the manager agreed to make a refund to me. But for this whole incident, I no longer can trust MaxCoil and their products as well as courts. Thus I'm writing in to request a full refund for the sofa as well. If not I will report the case to the small claim court coz trust is not there at all.

Courts Singapore Delivery and installation for tax invoice 87761416970

I bought a washer on the 10/07/21 and was expected to be delivery/installed on the 17/07/21. However on the 17/07/21, the washer was not installed as the driver mentioned that needed to do a 3 pin wall mounting inorder for installation. I called the customer service and report this. I was told by the customer service regards of this however he mentioned that I will be charged for 2nd trip depends on sales team can waive off this. I disagree with this as I was not informed regards of such requirement for replacement of my spolit washer. The sales from Tampines contact me on the 17/07/21 will write to waive off this, however I received back mentioned that the waiver is rejected by the logistic. I called back to customer service, however the information I received is the waiver is rejected by Tampines sale manager instead. I am amazed regards of different versions of story. Nevertheless as per my request to have communication with the CS team lead. He agreed to arrange for the driver to disposed and install washer on 19/07/21 2pm to 5pm due to miss communication with logistic and sale. The driver never came at all as mentioned. I had written a email to feedback about this around 6pm on 19/07/21 then I received call from both driver to make arrangements on tomorrow as there is a miss communication again. I refused the services as I don't want to feel being cheated again. Can someone help me on this?

Courts Singapore Online tv purchase has questionable customer service.

I purchased a Samsung TV online on 18 July on their website, and their ads suggested same day delivery for orders placed between 12nn and 3pm. This was not the case as it only applies to specific items.

The item appeared available online so I was able to add it to my cart, and I was able to complete the purchase. I went to the physical Courts store in Funan, and the salespeople said that the model I ordered is already out of stock everywhere. Nobody from the online store is contacting me about this.

I spoke to a customer service person (Jantzen) via their live chat (replies take very long), and I was promised that delivery will be scheduled within 3 to 5 working days. I do not know whom to believe anymore: the store sales people saying the model is no longer available anywhere, or the online customer service person who says Courts is processing my order.

I am calling the customer service hotline, and nobody is answering.

I sent an email to [protected]@courts.com.sg, and I am waiting for resolution.

This is my first experience buying from Courts, and the service has been very questionable. They are holding my $3300 hostage without any clear direction on how they will resolve my issue. I am very worried especially with the consistent o line reports at the bad service of Courts.

I really hope that Courts takes immediate action on this. I did not pay $3300 to wait indefinitely for something I was hoping to get immediately.

By the way: the price online is not cheap. Same items online are sold cheaper in the store, and with more free items. The online store is very questionable, and definitely misleading.

Desired outcome: Immediate delivery of my purchase

Courts Singapore Price match - dishwasher purchased on 27th jun at sgd 899 vs competitor price of sgd 699

As I already reported on this subject in the morning at 11AM today 7th July both over call at Customer Care as well as in Person to Courts Megastore, I could see the price of the exact same product I purchased from Courts is being sold online today at your competitor's (Best Daikin as well as Gain City) site at a very low price of SGD 699 including the basic installation and with 3 packages of Free Fresh tablets.

I purchased the same model dishwasher for S$ 899 without any installation done and without any gifts or samples.

When we visited Courts, the promoter or sales representative was saying it was the best deal and was saying if we don't purchase that on that day then there is going to be a price increase and I would lose this offer of 100$ discount. And I believed in Courts and their staff and purchased it.
Later today, my friend alerted me that the same product is priced online only at SGD 699 at Best Daikin as well as Gain City, I immediately called Customer care referring them to the Court's Low Price Guarantee link and the writings. And none of them have ever responded anywhere near to the promise that Courts has made in their Low Price Guarantee. They said they have escalated to their management and waiting and I have no reference of the complaint or ETS shared.

I am here by placing the same request again to Courts to take this grievance seriously, help retain our trust on Courts and refund the difference as per the Low Price Guarantee since all the conditions kept there are satisfied in this case. Here by enclosing my purchase receipt and the snapshots of the competitor price tags.

Looking forward to the positive response. Thank you.

Desired outcome: refund of the price difference and the 3 packs of Fresh tablet packs

Courts Singapore Courts extended warranty

I bought a washer from courts many years ago together with their highly recommended extended warranty (ew) package that costs a few hundred of dollars. A few months ago, my washer started to leak and I called up the courts' service hotline and they told me that I need to pay for the transportation charges else they will not send anyone down to verify the problem neither quote me for the repair cost and advised me to check the t&cs. Like most of the consumers that including myself, how many of you will spend time reading those fine lines of t&cs printed at font size 8?

Courts claimed the ew does not cover wear and tears, rubber gasket, and other uncovered items. Just wondering who will buy a washing machine and keep it at home without turning it on? As a consumer, I would expect when this package called ew should follow the common sense of providing the same manufacturer warranty coverage for an extended period of time. Once again, courts proved me wrong as they are definitely not a normal people, their thinking is not to provide extended warranty services at all but just to scam consumer money.

My lesson learned is never ever to buy court's extended warranty inclusive of other branded stores offering the same type of scamming packages. If you cannot resist the temptation, please spend time reading through the entire t&cs even it may take you hours. Else you are just a victim donating your hard-earned money to some irresponsible culprits. The t&cs are well crafted to protect them but not you as a consumer, you will never win. The conclusion is please do not buy any extended warranty from courts and other stores. There are no differences based on my recent research on the internet... They are just here to scam your money.

I am not sure what does it mean "resolved". My washer repair cost ended up have to pay by myself. I did not see anyone from Courts come forward to me for any compensation... I did not agree that this issue was resolved but only a diplomatic response to public to control their reputational damages.

I bought a washing Machine from courts in 2018 with their highly recommended extended warranty (ew) package that costs a few hundred of dollars. Last week, after finish cloth washing, the door can't be opened after electric off. After a while, we finally can open the door and took out clothes. But last Sunday, we realized that the door can't be closed when I want to close the door. Today I called their hotline and be told that washing machine hock broken when their technician came to my house. I have to paid $90 for repair cost as this hook is not under coverage that stated in terms and conditions. I was surprised that when their sales asked us to buy extended warranty never explain to us what is not covered. If wear and tear is not covered, what is the point I buy the extended warranty. Like most of the consumers that including myself, how many of you will spend time reading those fine lines of t&cs printed at font size 8? the Sales should highlighted to us when they introduce this product to us.

I have called LG hotline, they mentioned for their first two years warranty, this is under coverage. But i bought Courts extended warranty is not covered. This is really ridiculous product. Courts just want to scam customer money quietly. I will post it to social media to warm others, DON'T BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY from COURTS.

My lesson learned is never ever to buy court's extended warranty inclusive of other branded stores offering the same type of scamming packages. If you cannot resist the temptation, please spend time reading through the entire t&cs even it may take you hours. Courts Singapore Samsung fridge

Bought Samsung fridge from Courts 3 years ago even bought their extended warranty.

My fridge was not cold since Sunday evening (17thApril). Called customer service the next day morning to request for serviceman to have a look on my fridge. Cs on the line checked n confirmed my fridge still under warranty and will get the service side to give me a call later as they mentioned they will put a note under urgent request.

Few hours gone never receive any call from any department from courts. I called again to check the status and yes again I receive the same sentence they will call in awhile.

Half day gone, I called again to check one more time as the temperature of the fridge slowly down and this time my concern was all the food even though I bought the food spoliage warranty I have to take a picture or a video. Which ridiculous for me as this is basic when raw item not in the cold temperatures for a day what do you guys expect. Still fresh?
And yes again I got the same scripted sentence they will call me END OF THE DAY. Waited end of the day not even a phone ring.

Following next day (18th April), I waited the whole day for a soul to call and to update me the status of arranging a man over to check my fridge YES AGAIN no called.

Till I have to call in MYSELF to check at 5pm. The lady on the other line gave me the same scripted sentences that they going to call me.
By this time my food have all slowly went spoilt.
I have to throw all the vegetables and some seafood in it.

As I am writing this on 19th April my fridge still not working. I have kids at home who doing HBL I not sure what am I going to cook for their meals with all my frozen food slowly turning bad. I am not sure how many days more I have to wait for my fridge to get someone to take a look at it.

Do we pay the extended warranty charges for this kind of services?.

Do I get any claims for a meal that I had to order for my kids during their HBL since the fridge is not working?

Do I still get those scripted sentences when u replying my complaints?

Courts Singapore Flexi loan

I would like to file a complaint regarding your loan management. 1 year ago before circuit breaker we took renovation loan from your company called "flexi plan" during that time we only took $20.000 to renovated our house but we paid your loan management smoothly until circuit breaker hit we lost our job and cannot afford to pay you for 3 months. After that your company send a lawyer letter to us said we owe you $44, 000, that 3 months even if you include interests also never come up to $44, 000 so much. Its make me think you are trying to cheat people money. After all we only owe $20, 000. Please don't take their loans because they add more then you owe them.

Courts Singapore Aircon repair service

Dear Courts,
The aftersales service for the aircon was extremely terrible. I bought a midea aircon from Singapore Courts online on year 2019 and within 6 months, the silicone around the piping on the wall wear off causing rain flowing into the pipe and eventually led to electric trip and blown. I raised the issue to the aftersales service however the mentioned is not the installation issue and request me to pay for the electrical services. Recently my compressor broke up and from the date of purchase till to date is 2 year old. I requested for a check on my compressor and they said will get back to me shortly after they have checked on my warranty. Obviously there was no call received. I called them multiple times and was either redirected or not answered. Was told that the person in charged will call me but all I received was a hang up call after a single ring. And when I call back there was no answered. After my 3rd attempts that actually close the cut off the call and close the line for the day. This is extremely ridiculous. This is the worst aftersales customer service ever.

Desired outcome: Improvement on the aftersales service and attend to my issue asap

Courts Singapore Air conditioner extended warranty service lapse

Tax invoice [protected]

Bought Daikin System 4 on May 2017 and was pursued by sales personnel to purchase extended warranty offered by Courts and was told warranty is Courts and Daikin. First air-cond broke down before oct 2018. Called Courts hotline and was told to contact their 3rd party service provider comfort airconditioning & engineering pte. ltd. It is not Courts or Daikin to provide service but 3rd party . The 3rd party service provider is incompetent and unable to identify source of problem but hard sell their maintenance service contract which was found not to be source of the problem. I had to use own expense to call Daikin service engineer and found out temperature sensor for one of internal unit was faulty. Courts took more than 3 months to rectify my aircond.

On Feb 2021, my aircond was found to be faulty again and called was made on Feb but until today (16th April 2021). My aircon is still out of service. As for now, my aircond was out of service more than 5 months or longer since my purchased.

Desired outcome: Courts should not mislead me about warranty and transparent about real service provider. Court should consider to compensate me due to loss of use of air cond.

Courts Singapore Leaking of air-condition unit and bad customer service

The AC has been leaking for a couple of weeks. I purchased 3 Fan Coil Units, one of which is constantly leaking. I have made a call on the morning of 2nd Feb and I was attended by a lady named Megan. I was informed by her that she will return to my call but she never did so. I am extremely disappointed with the service. I tried contacting the person who attended to me several times but she ignored my calls.

Desired outcome: I want my calls to be returned and the AC to be fixed ASAP
