Costco Longfield Gardens Tulip Bright Mix, 180 bulbs Item #1495257

I ordered thing these would be premium bulbs and planted them as per the instructions. When they started to grow I noticed that many of the bulbs we very small an weak and produced very short stems and the colors were mostly purples and pinks and maybe 1/3 of yellow and red. To say the least I am very disapointed with the quality of this product. They are not like they were repsented in the online pictures

Desired outcome: I would like to see Costco refund the cost of this purchase.

Costco Costco marketing fraud on furniture

Have issue with Costco product. We purchased furniture (Greyhart sectional leather sofa ~$3000) during holidays and there was a promotion of 15% cash back shop card. After 2 months rather sending the shop card they are saying the product I purchased doesn't qualify promotion.

I have screenshot before the purchase and we also spoke to one of their agent and also should have recorded confirmation that this sofa has 15% promotion. Only after the confirmation we purchased and we would like to get this resolved in right way since I have all the proofs as well with date & time.

Need help on this.

Let me know if you need any other information to fight for resolution and help in understanding the issue.

Since it is ~$400 over

Desired outcome: Costco has marketed the product we purchased has 15% cash back shop card during Dec 2021 holidays and we need to get 15% cashback on this product.

Costco New hp laptop

I bought a new laptop at Costco. Tried to set it up at home but unable since the device said it needed internet service. Called "tech support/concierge service" to try to bypass that requirement but the tech had no idea what to do. Stayed on the phone over 40 min but she put me on hold more than talking to me. She sounded like a drugged teenager who kept having to check a book or make a call to find out how to help me. This service is a joke. Never got past the third screen that said I needed internet to set up. I purposely do not have internet service for a home computer and am not going to start now. Appears I will have to return this nice little device. Cannot rely on COSTCO for help, ever, not even to find an item they usually carry but placed somewhere else.

Desired outcome: Would like to keep the laptop and have help setting it up without needing internet service.

Costco Sparklett's Water Service

We opened an account [protected] on 2/5, we received yet to receive our next delivery. It has now been a week and every day I have to call and every day I am told it will be tomorrow. I have cancelled my account... See below email I just sent.

We opened this account on 2/3/22 and had 2- 5 gal bottles delivered along with a hot/cold bottom loader dispenser.  Our next delivery was scheduled for 2/14/22.  We received an email stating it was delivering and then at end of the day a new email was received saying they were not delivering.  Every day I would call and they would say next day.  WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE OUR WATER.  We are told every day that they are behind, I can understand a few days but now it has been 7 days.  I asked cust service to cancel our account and have the Sparklets equipment removed.  I want this to be written notice to cancel our account and please confirm with they will remove the equipment and 2 empty bottles. Account number...941026622166647Please know also that I am submitting a complaint to Costco as they need to know they are selling a water service that can't deliver!

Costco Costco is a bunch of lying, deceitful, incompetent idiots!

I originally placed and order for heated gloves on 26 December 2021 (order #[protected]). Delivered to the East Coast of the US and I live in Alaska. Not very smart at all! I contacted Costco on 13 January 2022 about this order. I was assured by the customer service person that the order would be expedited and that the item would arrive by the original scheduled delivery date. Then it took until 19 January to get an email confirming the new order (order # [protected]). Then an email on 20 January 2022 that the item was shipped. However, the tracking information provided was never trackable. the delivery date came and went with no package from Costco. At the beginning of February 2022 I was told by customer service that the item was in stock, would be shipped and that it would arrive by 10 February 2022. This delivery date also came and went with no package from Costco. 14 February 2022 I again contacted Costco customer service to try and find out where the package was. The Costco customer service person told me that the package was shipped and that Costco would look into the delivery of the package. Again Nothing! On 21 February 2022 I again contacted Costco customer service. The customer service person said that she would put in a Service Request (SR#[protected]) to look into why my package was not delivered.

After all of this waiting and time spent on the phone, I get a useless form letter telling me that the package is not going to be delivered, that Costco is out of stock on this item, and that they are going to refund my purchase price. How disrespectful!. I place an order with Costco, they take my money, they jerk me around for nearly two months, and then say "oh, we will give you your money back in 3-7 business days". What an incompetent and useless ordering system. Costco should be ashamed of itself for the seriously poor customer service. I live in Alaska and have been waiting on these heated gloves for two months that I am now informed that I am NEVER going to get.

Still waiting on the refund.

Costco Poor customer service

On 02/11/22 I took my car 07 Lexus LS 460 in for a tire rotation. I have been a Costco member for over 10 yrs . The manager (Dennis ) took my information and key . After asking me if I had 2 hours to wait an I said fine I needed to get this done . I told Him I had some wear on the right passenger tire and the wheel lock was in my trunk with the spare . Since I was told 2 hrs for wait .I decided leave and return . Approx 30 minutes later I was called on my phone by (Alex ) who stated he could not do a tire rotation due to mechanical issue on my vehicle . I told him I would be there in 10 minutes . He and the other tech stated they were not mechanic but my car was making a noise and pulling from the right front and the tie rod assembly was too loose . I informed them that the repairs have been made over a year ago .

There statement was inaccurate and was not true . I informed them to go ahead and rotate the tires .Dennis later informed

Me that Costco could not be Liable if something happened. I think the professionalism and false response from Dennis was very lacking . I the had to then call my mechanic and take my vehicle back for recheck for issues that Costco techs who admitted they were not mechanics Diagnosed .My mechanic rechecked and found no issues . This caused me to drive back to my mechanic. Who is ASE certified found nothing . I felt like your manager treated me as though I was scamming him . I don’t appreciate that)

Its weird I’m not sure I want to continue with Costco when manager seems as though he would rather go home or fabricated mechanical issues and go home for the Day rather than rotate and balance tires purchased at Costco.There was no surprise when I returned 2 hrs later Dennis and Alex were gone for the day .

I feel they decided they would leave my issue for the next shift to handle ,that was the easiest solution for them .

I am very disappointed Costco customer service communication for me was sub par from the standard you have demonstrated in the past .

Costco Costco Citi Visa business Card

Have been with Costco AMEX since I started my business in 2002 till Costco change it over to CITI. At the very beginning of switching over to Citi, I have billing issues i.e. payment not being credited from Amex to Citi. I have no way of resolving the payment issues with Citi customer services till I went down to Costco Business Center for help and they (COSTCO) solved it right at the spot with a few phone calls. I am the few lucky ones. (Thanks to COSTCO) I have since then CXL Costco Citi Visa Card in Mid 2016 for the reason their customer service is horrible either they put you on hold or they reroute your call & place you on hold forever or sometimes they just simply hung up the call.

Due to business needs, I had recenly reconsidered applying for the Costco Citi Visa Card (2022) and I did and got approved. (Thinking that after all these years CITI customer services got to be somewhat better or have improved) I am So Wrong.

However, the day I received the card I activated the card online and it says to call [protected] Citibank Fraud Prevention Services the card that I just received have been blocked for usage. I have called customer services 5 different times to have it resolved but to no avail, the 1st time the rep. said she will call me back and she never did.

2nd call was rerouted to a different agent and she reroute me back to the same agent and got hung up, and there is nothing Citi can do to help except to what for a letter by mail? (the letter contain a special CODE) then call Citi back and give them the CODE that I receive? I have asked if they can call my business phone and they said no, I have to wait for the letter that contains a special code then call them back. On top of all this, my business name on the Costco Citi Card was missing, however, it contained 2 different names on the same card. Go Figure!

This is a JOKE. After encountering all these problems. I really don't think I want to do business with Costco CITI.

In my view the way Costco Citi do business is very sloppy, their customer service is non-existance, billing is horrible and I don't think I want any parts of it and it doesn't seem like they have improved their services at all. One less headache to deal with. I am OUT.

Costco Tried to do an online purchase from Costco--they can automatically cancel your order, and put a hold your funds with no ETA to release/refund them!

When trying to purchase online from Costco--they can automatically cancelled my order, and put a hold my funds with no ETA to release/refund them!

I had entered my credit card info. correctly as it appeared on my card, with the correct pin etc. (I confirmed this with my bank), but when I entered the name in the Bill-to address, did not match EXACTLY with the card (i.e. Sandra vs. Sandy). Therefore, their order system automatically cancelled my order and then put a hold on the funds at my bank until they get around to releasing them. A simple error trap routine in their online order system would prevent this and/or highlight the difference (if really required...).

Twice, I called Costco's Customer Service to try to figure out what happened as the bank sees no error on their end while Costco continues to hold my funds. The Costco Customer Service representatives cannot change the Bill-to address name difference nor can I and they could not provide an ETA when they might release the funds back to me. Apparently, I can do nothing from my bank to release them either, only the merchant (Costco) controls the release of those funds while I wait...

Really not professional or ethical on their part!

Desired outcome: Immediate release of funds as they initiated the cancellation of the order.

Costco Connect by AmFam Insurance

I recently purchased another home in CA and tried to add it under my AmFAM umbrella insurance and they said they could not add it as the underlying insurance on that property did not meet their standards (Am Best rated) . They then said they would have to cancel my Umbrella insurance. This then caused my auto insurance and home owner insurance to go up (also with Connect -AmFam) as there is a discount associated with them being the same family.

What a catch 22!

PS- I got umbrella insurance for all my homes though GEICO and did not have to change the underlying insurance for the CA property.

Desired outcome: Drop them as a Costco support provider- as they do not meet the Costco customer service standards

Costco Mission 100 Kayak

Purchased a kayak from Costco today . Brought it home ,unpacked it to find

no paddle , no Snap on bag or foam car rack . The box was already on a cart in the isle and it had been pulled open but thought everything must of been inside . Not ! Is there anyway other than returning the kayak to get those pieces ? These are hard to find ! Please let me know what to do .

Costco Laptop issue bad costco concierge services

I purchased lenovo laptop and the hinge broke recently. i reached customer service and they sent me an email with reference code and said we will send a box to send the laptop and with in 10 business days we will diagnose and send you the repaired laptop back to you.

The game of ignore started looks like. i received an email but no box for next 4 days. i called the [protected] and agent said they can't help directly as the request is with dispatch team. they can only send message. to say this agent took 30min phone call. after that i called [protected] agent said, ok i created label now you will get the tracking number early next week. not sure when?

This is such a bad experience with Costco. to do their job we need to remind and follow-up. now i am totally scared with timelines. to get the box its such a longtime. how much time they take it to repair? and do they really do a good job? and when they send me? i will update further. But very disappointing experience with Costco services

Costco Any kind of Costco nuts

2-5-2022 For the past year if I eat nuts purchased from costco the next day I have severe stomach cramps the next day. I do not have a nut allergy I’m 54 and have always been fine eating any kind of nut. I recently had planters mixed nuts purchased at Walmart and no stomach issues. Last time I had stomach problems I had consumed nuts from Costco.

Costco Tires

I ordered winter tires that were on sale november 11 which they were ordering in and would get in touch with me when they were in.. A month later I phoned as I had not been contacted. Its now snowing out. Of course no on would answer as they were busy with customers. I talked to admin and got so many excuses and they said there service people were all busy with customers. My reply well I am a customer. I don t live near costco so I can't just go over. Another question did you order them on line or in the store. I would suggest no on should order online. The bottom line that after phoning and talking to anyone that would listen and they would get me my tires at the same price I find they returned my money to my credit card and no tires or even a phone call. I guess my business is not important.

Desired outcome: I would just like them to treat people better but there is no hope in that happening.

Costco QR Code to enter Costco ?

Respectfully addressed to the Costco management team:

I am writing to express my complete and utter disgust with recent news regarding the requirement for Costco members to present proof of vaccination in order to enter your stores in the province of Québec. While this policy doesn't affect me at this time, I know a large number of people who it will affect. There are people who have chosen not to (and others who cannot) receive the COVID-19 series of inoculations, and in my estimation, their arguments are perfectly reasonable.
The outcome that is guaranteed by your forthcoming policy will not be an increase in safety, but rather, an increase in social tensions and divisions. The precedent this will set will certainly trickle into smaller businesses, aggravating tensions even further. The policy is un-Canadian, and frankly it's immoral and unethical.

People in this country have a right to self-determination and a right to follow their conscience regarding whether or not they wish to engage with the COVID-19 vaccines or any other medical treatment for that matter. It's completely dependent on their circumstances. It is a health choice. Certainly Costco has no quarrels about selling jumbo sized bags and boxes of artery clogging junk food, so why all of a sudden take such a firm stance on a different health matter that pertains to personal choice? For some, the risk of taking these vaccines is acceptable. For others it is not. What is certain is that the consequence of such a decision should not be bound to one's ability to access basic goods or services that ought to be made available equally to all Canadians.

The choice to comply with government mandates is just that, a CHOICE. Government mandates are NOT an excuse to discriminate against your paying members.

I will seriously reconsider keeping my Costco membership should you wish to go through with this policy. Although I enjoy certain benefits of shopping at your store, I will not put up with any bullying and discrimination of this kind regardless of the perceived membership benefits.

I am asking that you seriously consider which side of history you wish to be on.

I live in Ontario but will not support what you are doing to our fellow Canadians

Costco Citi visa - bottom feeder institution

The reality is Costco can give a sh** less about this review and your complaints. I guess CITI was the only bottom of the barrel sludge Costco could convince to do business with them. It's embarrassing as it is shocking. The world-famous Costco? That's the best they could do. Lmao yikes. Citi is pure trash. I gave them a chance by creating personal and business accounts, etc. It was all a living nightmare. Their disputes are a hit and miss. I bought an ice cream maker from www.myradbox.com only to find out it's a scam site from China. A fake label was created and reported to the China Postal service but nothing was sent. Just "order ready" for months. 3 months later I disputed it and CITI said I'm responsible because the Merchant provided documentation. Dafuk? I'm in the wrong business. Imagine any other business, such as Amazon, where you contact support and say Hey, the merchant just created a shipping label and never mailed it. They would NEVER say, well it's your responsibility now. You'd get refunded immediately. I also had another dispute with Lexington Law Firm, ( I have perfect credit, just needed 1 dispute resolved) another scam company who charged me for a credit report I never agreed to and canceled on the same phone call... and even the BBB Dispute the company said they would refund it. What does it do? Reverses the initial credit and says in response and refuses to refund me even after given proof of their statement to refund. Who he F is Citi to be pulling this garbage. There's zero accountability for these banks, and the bottom-feeding CITI Bank is the Bank of Choice for the "prestigious" Costco that values "Customer Service". Wow. Just Wow. Actions speak louder than words. The fact they have used CITI and refuse to hold them accountable at any level is beyond disgusting.

I have a 22k Costco Citibank Visa credit line, but they pick and choose what they will approve of my business charges! What in the world gives them the right to reject business purchases I have approved with businesses I have been doing business with for OVER 30 YEARS. Well that's fine I have four other CC that have zero balances I can jump too. SHAME ON YOU CITIBANK, I'm dumping your card. Costco SHAME ON UOU FOR DOING BUSINESS WITH CITIBANK! They even rejected some not all of my Amazon orders, what the crap? Costco get rid of Citibank I am, there is higher cash back Vida's out there, get one!

Costco sumatriptan

Pharmacy chose to only fill the 90 tablet prescription with 30. Then did not explain to my wife when she picked it up. Instead told her she was saving money by using the costco price instead of the good rx coupon. We paid almost double the amount per tablet. Although I only take about 9 tablets per month, their reasoning that I could take too much makes no sense. Using their logic of I could take the 30 tablets in one day. Therefore they should have only given me 2 tablets for safety sake. rx#6286098 dob 1-7-58. Steven Eagle [protected]

It was for mental health treatment for our adult daughter. Our receipt said 30 day/night treatment with community housing. It had a sub-note that it was non-refundable. Costco Car insurance

This is not a complaint, but I can't find anywhere else to ask this question. I am in the market for car insurance, but when I look up the car insurance company used by Costco, the web shows they are rated deficient in customer service. Are you aware of this issue? I'm going to research AARP's insurance offer because Hartford is rated with top customer service.

Costco Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional customer service employee at citibank customer service

On December 17, 2021, I contacted Costco/CitiBank customer service regarding an issue with my newly issued (original card lost) Cosco/CitiBank credit card. I received this card on December 16th and immediately had it activated.
When I attempted to use it at Costco on the 17th, it was denied as the credit card number was incorrect. Costco customer service was wonderful and very helpful and immediately issued me a new number. They then asked me to phone Costco/CitiClub and report the credit card I received on the 16th was incorrect and ask that a new card with the new number be issued and mailed to me.
I was connected to "Paul" in CitiBank customer service. When I tried to explain my problem, he interrupted me to tell me the card CitiBank sent me had the last four digits of 5913 instead of the one I had in my hand. The one I possessed had a completely different number and was the one received by me the day before... the only card I possessed! Paul was rude, disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. Paul is not the quality of person to represent Citi/Bank nor Costco. Paul should be placed in a job with no customer contact whatsoever.

Desired outcome: Paul be placed in a job/position where he has no customer contact.
