I have no idea how Corvette Mods has a 4.2 rating. Possibly those giving this company a 5-star rating just got really really lucky or the numbers have been skewed or inflated. Regardless I have to share my experiences with shopping at Corvette Mods (CM) - and trust me; I will never shop or order from there again!

First, for my C7 Corvette, I ordered a Custom Painted License Plate Frame - Open End Blade Part Number: 10897. Just around 10 days later after the "order is processing" email notification I finally received the plate frame. It was white but too bright white. It came much brighter white than the OEM Artic White. It just looked really off because it didn't match the Artic White that my car came with. So instead of complaining to customer service (which their service sucks), I decided to spray paint the frame black myself.

Second, I then idiotically decided to order a set of custom-painted Rear Diffuser Fins Part Number: 19409. I knew that I was taking a chance by ordering these fins custom painted but when they arrived, a little over two weeks later, they weren't perfectly OEM color matched either. BUT the color was only a "little" off and not as bright white as the plate frame I mentioned above. The box included the fins and attachment screws but it DID NOT come with the TEMPLATES OR INSTRUCTIONS to install them? At that time I tried calling CM Customer Support I discovered several times that the phone number they have listed goes into an automated system that tells you that "the number is not in service at the time call back at a later time."

Frustrated, I decided to email CM support, but to date, all I received in return was an email stating "please allow 24-48 hours for our team to respond." After 4 days of no returned email response, I then decided to try calling them again when to my surprise, this time I was able to leave a voicemail but no human interaction. I left a voicemail but still - to no avail. At the time of this review, it's been 6 days with no returned response to my email or voicemail.

Clearly order at your OWN RISK but CM Customer Service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced! Thus, I'm forced to give a One-Star rating. I will also be contacting the BBB.

This is long, but worth the read. If I could have given less than one star I would have. Corvette Mods falsely advertised a Painless Performance wiring harness to fit a [protected] Corvette at a cost of $499.99. Upon receipt of the harness I noticed the ECU connections were not compatible with my car's ECU. Technical Support at Painless Performance informed me that the harness would not in fact work in my car and that it is designed for operating only the engine from my car in another entirely different car such as a street rod. I notified Corvette Mods Customer Service Department via email to request a return authorization for the harness. The email contained the transaction information they should have needed to process the return. Several days later they provided a response requesting I complete an RA form which provided them with ALL of the information I had previously provided. I completed the form only to be informed a week later that they required additional information related to the initial sale, which I then provided. After another week and a half I contacted Customer Service requesting the status of my request. I was informed that they were waiting on a response from Painless Performance as to the address the harness was to be shipped to. Even though I had contacted Corvette Mods a week after receiving the harness, the foot dragging on the part of Corvette Mods to process my return request effectively stretched out the return process beyond the 30 day period they allow for refunds. The harness was returned to Painless Performance and the tracking number was provided to Corvette Mods as directed, at which point Corvette Mods issued me a store credit claiming the return was completed beyond the allowed 30 days. After disputing the charge with my credit card company based on the false advertising of the part and the fact that it had been returned, Corvette Mods attempted to again charge my credit card claiming I was still in possession of the harness. Then they claimed I never returned the part and accused me of cyber-fraud even though I have email documentation of their acknowledgement of receipt of the part. They have now sent the matter to collections seeking to collect $251.11 for a harness that was returned last November. My mistake was not researching the company prior to placing an order with them and seeing the hundreds of horrendous reviews. Now I have to deal with the hassle of providing the transaction history to a third party collection agency.

Update: Collection agency ignored my documents proving return of the part and my credit file just took a 115 point "hit". I have already filed a complaint with the State of Texas Attorney Generals Office and WILL be securing the services of an attorney.

You must read! Unbelievable! Item did not come, so I called them and they said it is backordered and will arrive in three months. I waited three months and it never arrived. I called customer service and they cannot provide tracking information, so I had to leave a voice message, but nobody responded. I sent an email and nobody responded. I then called my credit card company to reverse charges and purchased from another company. A month latter they responded to my email cussing me out and said I have 48 hours to return the bezel or they will send me to collections. A few weeks later I receive a letter from a collection agent and my credit report has a collection agency on it. Even worse, they decided to charge me double of the original invoice based on the collection agency. I purchased from them in the past and never had an issue. They could have seen that and knew I was a good customer. If they would have provided a tracking number, then I would have worked with them in finding the part or helping them get their money back considering ups and fedex both have insurance for missing packages.

The sales department "has no access" to your placed orders, so you must use a voicemail system. Useless.

The entire customer service "team" is only available via the voicemail system. The voicemail system requires less than a 30 second message, or your message will be deleted. Useless.

They claim the fastest and best method of contact is via email, but it will take up to 48 hours for a response. (3 days and counting and they have not responded nor have they shipped the product). Useless.

Cancelling an order requires an act of congress...

They took my money and I have not heard any reason why the part has not been delivered after 3 weeks and after I paid the price they said they told me a couple days later the price went up and i owed more . I paid and they still have not giving my a shipping number or nothing STAY AWAY .. This is far from over I have lost a customer that I had over 5 years .

I orderes a steering wheel on feb 8th and I was told it would ship on the ninth due to weekend orders the item was a stock item the comp and sales dept said on wednesday the orderhad still not shipped so I called to cancel it on thursday I recieved email telling me that it would ship week of the 15th so I called to varify that the order was canceled sam in cust service said it was and that I would recieve a refund in a few days starting the week of feb 15th I started emailing to ask where was my refund and never got a responce today feb 18th I called cust service and they told me the steering wheel had shipped today and that they had sent me a tracking numbeer to track it, it was supposed to be canceled last week not shipped now he said that I would have to send theem another e mail to get aproved to ship it back and would have to wait again for a refund. I have been in my own bussness for over 40 years and would never treat a cust like corvette mods treats there customers hopefully it will get resolved soon I will never do bussness whit youre company again and will make sure I tell as many shops about youre poor bussness ethics...

I ordered a skip-shift fuse for our Corvette. It arrived and was installed, but only worked sporadically, leading me to believe that it may be defective. I called and asked to exchange it for another one, then jumped through their hoops, sent photos, etc, and paid to ship it back to them. I waited for the replacement, and when it didn't arrive, I called them. I was told that I had been given store credit, and that if I wanted a replacement, I would have to pay shipping AGAIN (which would make a total of $19 shipping for a $13 part). I declined, and asked that my money be refunded to me. Corvette mods refuses to return my money.

On May 5, 2030, I ordered 4 items from Corvette Mods. The next day, I got an email from them saying the most expensive item I ordered, console cover, was discontinued by them. Of course, they had already charged my card $263.94. They also asked me if I wanted to change the color from yellow to black or tan. I was to hit reply and let them know. I hit reply, typed my response, hit send and a message came up that said, this website does not exist. I called and talked to someone who could not help me but said he would send my info to someone that could help me. Within 2 hours, I got the same email I had gotten before and, same thing, when I hit send, this website does not exist. I tried answering this same email 8 times over 2 weeks. I spoke to 4 different People. The only item I ever received from my order was a steering wheel cover, but Corvette Mods says that 2 other items were delivered, amounting to $72.97. To this day, July 8, 2020, I am still fighting, along with my credit card company to get my money. Nothing yet. I wouldn't buy from this company again, if they were the last business on Earth. They are scammers, in my opinion!

Good morning. On May 26th I ordered a Mass Air Flow Sensor and a Pro Air Filter from Corvettemods. Within a couple of days I received an email that they both had shipped. I received the mass air flow sensor in a couple of days. I still have nor received the air filter. I can't get through to you guys by phone so hopefully this will work. I purchased a clear top for my C7 and it came in damaged. CorvetteMods was honorible to deal with. I finally was able to return the damaged product at my cost for over $300.00. THe distributer refunded the original purchase price to CorvetteMods and I still have no official resolution from my credit card dispute, which is pending. That I am confident will be returned. However, a customer should not have to pay to return any product that is damaged when opened.

This is a terrible company to deal with. The Customer Service was unprofessional and there was no way to speak to an owner or resolve a matter?

I ordered a C& Stingray Z51 Illuminated Stainless Steel Exhaust Filler panel (polished) with a total price of $138.61 including a discount of $13.10, taxes of $9.73 and shipping of $10.99. My original subtotal was $130.99!

I look on your web page and see that the total is $152.79? What's going on? I am looking at my order AB-249644. the original and only order totals $138.61.

You need to correct this mistake on YOUR part and credit me $21.80 on my credit card if I have already been charged.

Also, the tracking number you have on your web page results in no data?

I assume the item has been shipped but I don't know when to expect it?

I ordered a rear spoiler for my corvette. The order was filled with an incorrect part. When contacted (no representative would talk with me) was told that they would send authorization form, which never came. Through corespondence there was delay and denial of any mistake. Am stuck with $400.00 part that is usless. Buyer beware the part ordered was a custome painted part. I was shipped a standard gm replacement. They will not have a conversation by a rep only by e-mail.

I waited over a week 1/2. Nothing. I called they gave me the run around then I cancelled and was told it was on its way and I could not cancel. I waited another 2 weeks for my stuff. Then called back to get a rma number and was told to wait for a email now another week. Did the rma then another week. The partial refund I got back with all the fees taken from it. Still no credit yet. Week 5 now.

Since I placed my order W/Corvette Mods, I have been called a LIAR. I, placed an order for a QUARTZ CLOCK. I paid $169.00 for it. I was sent an ELECTRIC CLOCK, instead... Corvette Mods has changed my Credit Card for $169.00.
They are telling me that I purchased an ELECTRIC CLOCK, not a QUARTZ CLOCK. Then, ask yourself why would you pay $169.00 for an ELECTRIC CLOCK, that only sells for $79.00?
I have been going round & round, with them! It is a form of Harassment if you ask me.. They keep on insisting that there sales person, CHARLES is not wrong! Ha! So who is the LIAR? This is the last time I order from CORVETTE MODS. They will not send me an RMA number, so I can return it, & get the QUARTZ CLOCK I ordered!

Ordered a part that "was in stock." My debit card was charged immediately. A week later i still don't have my order. I call and email to cancel my order. I am told it is cancelled. I wait for my refund, it never happens. I contact cust svc and they say they might not be able to cancel my order as it may be in process. I contact the Ft. Worth BBB and TX attorney general and what do you know, Corvette Mods claims they processed my refund July 1, 2019 and the order was cancelled. Here it is 24 days later and I still haven't received my refund and now they claim they shipped the order. I have saved all the emails and pointed out they said it was cancelled. They claim I received my order, yet I have received nothing and they still have my money. Based on other reviews, it might be time for a class action lawsuit for fraud and theft by Corvette Mods.

I ordered a Borgenson PS box kit for my Corvette. It came with box damage I called Corvettemods talk to all Indians hard to understand. They said the contacted Borgenson to resolve matter. One week past I called Borgenson said they never heard of Corvettemods and no one from there contacted them. Corvettemods said they dropped shipped from them and Borgenson said No they did not. These guys are thieves. If your lucky and no problems with the order than you might be happy. But my box broke open in shipping and Corvettemods laughed and hung up on me. Now I am left to buy $300 more parts that were supposed to come with the kit but fell out.True Scumbags just frustrating me with broken English and lies.

I'm giving them one star because I have to. However, I will NEVER be ordering anything from Corvette Mods again. First of all, it took a month to receive my package. Every time I called them to ask for an update they couldn't tell me anything other than "I'll have to look into it and get back with you."
Fast forward to receiving my delivery. It was BROKEN. Not just once but twice! We sent it back and told them we would like a refund, and they made it seem like that wouldn't be a problem at all. As soon as they received the product back that story changed. We told them we no longer wanted the part numerous times, and they sent me an email stating they were sending me a new one. I made it abundantly clear AGAIN that I just wanted MY money back. If I had just decided to return it I would understand, but it arrived damaged! So now they are trying to tell me they will give me store credit instead, and as I previously stated I don't want a single product from this company ever again. I am literally having to threaten a lawsuit against these people! This has been going on for almost FIVE months.
They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. They only give you solutions that allow them to keep your money. Do yourself a favor and don't ever buy from these people. They are crooks and they have horrible values! If you ever have an issue with them they will not fix it. They'll only screw you over more! Take your money somewhere else!
