Conn's Home Plus ge washer and dryer

My husband and I bought a GE washer and dryer in June of 2019. Made 2 payments, right after making our second payment the dryer quit working. Called Conns on the 11th of August and they told us that a technician would be out in 2 days. I was thrilled but when no one showed up I called Conns and they said it would be 2 more weeks. They sent out technicians out 3 times over the next 2 months and could not fix the dryer. Over the months we kept asking for a new dryer. I spoke to Conns at least 50 times during this period and got no where. I even recorded our conversations because we were LIES to every day. We would go into the Conns store in Pflugerville texas and talk to the manager James. Even told James that we are fixing to buy a new gas range and it won't be fromeg Conns if they can't get us a working dryer. He would promise to call us by the end of the week, and nothing. I would call him again and he would always say that he had been busy. I told him that we had been out over $300. for the washeteria because we lived 25 miles to the nearest one, one way. I said that we got twice a week, so that is 100 miles a week times 8 weeks of a broken dryer. I asked for reimbursement and Corporate said no. But in the meantime Conns called numerous times a day wanting a payment. I told them that I would pay for the washer but not for the broken dryer. I would call James the manager again and again he would say that he will call me by Friday and have me a new dryer. Well Friday came and went, so on Sunday I called and he said he has been busy. I told him that I have been busy also going 100 miles a week to dry clothes. Again he said he would talk to his inventory guy the next day and get us a dryer. DIDN'T HAPPEN! James also told me and my husband that he would put in for us a $200. Gift card. Haven't heard a word from James since the last time I called him 6 weeks ago. So we went into Conns about 3 weeks ago and James was off. We talked to the asst manager who's name is Mr. Blackwolf, I believe. We told him everything we had been through and how we had been Conns customers for 20 years and Conns could come pick up both appliances because we were past tired. The asst manager said that he would help us and exchange the dryer but the new dryer was about $100 extra. I said I didn't want to pay any extra with what we've been out. He texted his district manager to see if he would waive the money but got no reply. So we paid the extra money hoping that Conns would reimburse us. FAT CHANGE because the only calls we get are collection calls. We also asked the asst manager to have James call us and we want the $200 James promised. Haven't heard a word from James! We did hear from corporate to say that they are sending out a $100 that James put in for us. I told corporate that James is a liar because he promised us $200. The story doesn't end there. Conns wouldn't take off for months of a broken dryer after we are out $300 plus $100 for an exchange dryer. But bless Conns heart, they told me December 10th when I made a payment that they would push Dec payment to January. Well I guess that no one got the memo because Conns has been calling 5-10 times a day wanting the December payment. Yesterday I told the lady that called me to tell Conns to come pick up the appliances because I was fed up. I told her that Conns pushed back our December payment and sure enough she found it in the computer and said we would not be getting anymore harassment calls. Yeah right! Because I just got off the phone with Conns wanting the December payment. Again I said to look at the notes and that we don't have a payment until January. He looked and said that the calls would stop. I told him thats what Conns says every day ya'll call. So to sum it up, we had a broken dryer going on 3 months, we were out $300 minimum for gas and laundry mat, $100 to exchange the broken dryer, lies and broken promises, making payments on a broken dryer, at least 50 phone calls and 30 hours of recorded calls and lies. And endless collection calls. We did just buy a new gas range and it wasn't from Conns. We thought that we would have been treated better after being a Conns customer for 20 years, but NOPE. Word of mouth is the best or worst advertisement a company can get and Conns needs to think about that. Sorry to have done business with Conns and never will again.

Conn's Home Plus lg nano cell 4k tv

I am writing this complaint because I am very upset that I got some misleading information when I purchased my tv. I was told at store 197 but a very young man preferably new had to be about 18. He tells me the insurance I purchased was accidental & not extended warranty! I would never pay an extra $300 for an extended warranty, needless to say I had my tv for a week it fell off my wall mount I was told by the young man that my insurance would cover it but no it does not he lied to me i'm not sure if it was on purpose for the sale or just because he was trained properly to know exactly what it covers I am highly upset I am a young mom who bought her kids a beautiful tv for the holidays that accidentally broke not even a week later & nobody at conn's is willing to help me in no way. They just going to make me pay off a $1200 tv. I even asked if I can pay a deductible something for good will I even purchased a washer & dryer from conn's never again I am so hurt that they literally don't care about their customers I literally want to cry. I will continue to email, call & write reviews on every website until something gets resolved this is truly unfair & misleading

Conn's Home Plus Samsung dishwasher

I am again contacting Conns reguarding a Samsung dishwasher I purchased in March of this year. Long story short - it hasn't worked since August. The repairman has been out 5 or 6 (I've lost count) times, he left here at 9 - its noon and it's still not working. I work 6 days a week so I can only be home to meet the repairman on Saturdays. Saturday - which will be how long I have to wait - again.  Last weekend I had a Saturday appointment and I was lied to by your service department and NO ONE SHOWED UP. I have requested on numerous occasions to have the dishwasher replaced - it was refused. How much does it cost to send out a repairman? I paid for a 3 year service policy - seems like this is going to get expensive. I was approved for a credit line with the intention of replacing the dishwasher plus also considering the purchase of a new refrigerator. My credit line will expire on Nov 5 - at which time I will no longer do business with Conns. After Nov 5th I will also turn this situation over to the BBB and my lawyer. What I want - contact Mr. Kevin Lockett at the Willowbrook location make arrangements for my account to be credited for the dishwasher at which time I will select a new one from his store. So Conns it's up to you - stand behind your products or not.  But I have to say that the negative word of mouth and loss of my business isnt the way to take care of the customer.  Please contact me when you have an acceptable solution to this ongoing problem. Conn's Home Plus not applying my september payment

I have been emailing & faxing copies of bank statement showing the payment was debited from my account... Oct 3rd! And customer service says they never received it! Horrible experience!
Ticket number 915664... I have been a loyal customer... shame on Conn's... I now late on October payment cause y'all want full payment of September and October!

Conn's Home Plus a revised contract that took 4 months to complete

The original contract contained many items several I did not request. I asked the salesperson to revise the contract and remove the unwanted items he had added.
We could not seem to make a connection to correct this problem.
Finally, I went to the store again and he was present, I was told his manager could have taken care of this saving me all of these hassles. While I was trying to get this contract revised I was received numerous phone calls to my home and cell from Conn's wanting payment, each time I explained to them about the contract issue, each time they checked into it and agreed the old contract must be closed out for the new to be the only account open. No one followed through with this, I am still receiving calls, emails etc concerning the old contract and the new.
No matter how many times I have complained and explained no one is listening.
I guarantee I will never do business with Conn's again, I should have listened to my friend at work who told me her horrible story concerning Conn's purchases.

Conn's Home Plus payment

My payment was taken electronically. After my bill was paid in full, my account was being charged($1500). I have been waiting ten days and my money has not been returned to my account. Mind you, they overdrew $700 last month, but refunded it
They need to shred my banking information so this won't occur next month AND refund my $1500 with interest as they would do if I were late paying!

Conn's Home Plus power catnapper sofa recliner

I bought a Power Catnapper sofa recliner on 11/23/2018. 7 months later the recliner stop working I notice broken parts from the recliner mechanism. I called to the manufactures warranty. They told me that the recliner parts would be deliver to my home address by mail Fed-ex. It would take 4 to 6 weeks. I waited 6 weeks nothing had been deliver so I called to check the status on these parts. They told me that parts were on back ordered and would take a while longer. I waited and nothing has been delivered. It going on 3 months. So I called Conn's complaint department costumer service. I explained to the costumer service representative the problem I been having with the manufacture warranty department. I explained all I want is to have this recliner repaired or replaced with a new recliner. I have paid this reclined In full. If Conn's does not comply with resolving this problem then I have no choice but to report this to the Better Business Bureau.

Conn's Home Plus fridge

My fridge broke on Wednesday at 2 A.M. I called (I had grocery shopped that weekens, so I needed it fixed ASAP before the food went bad). They can't have anyone in until Thursday. Fine, Thursday comes around and he needs to order parts for the fridge and they won't come in until Tuesday. Then, he refrains and says oh now it's Wednesday since one of the parts is going to take longer to arrive.

The repair man shows up Wednesday (yesterday, the 14th) and takes up over THR3E HOURS of my day. He finally finished and says if it doesn't seem to be working call again and they'll take a look at it.

Guess what, ITS NOT working. I call and the best they can do is come in MONDAY! I reiterate I have a child, who needs to eat. I had to buy a small fridge to keep his milk and a few bowls of food. I reiterate I lost A LOT OF FOOD, I reiterate It's going on nearly 2 weeks if I wait until Monday. Her response is, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I DONT NEED APOLOGIES. I NEED A FRIDGE THAT WORKS. The fridge is only 2 yrs old!

I ask if I can just get a new one since if he comes Monday and can't fix it that's more days without a fridge. "Well that's something the tech would have to decide that day".

They don't care about you, as long as you're making those monthly payments you can rot. I'm so angry, and exhausted.

I've lost time and a very good amount money now.

Conn's Home Plus washing machine

We purchased a GE washing machine in October of 2018 starting in January of 2019 we have been having problems with it. We have had 3 new parts put in. Mother board, then a transmission, now a agitator. And its still not working. We have been frustrated paying for something that does not work getting a bad credit score for not paying. Why should we pay if its not working. Nobody calls to check on the service calls. Very bad customer service. We want a GE service call to come out and not pay for it. IMMEDIATELY.

Conn's Home Plus flooring damage due to delivery

Good morning! My order number is. [protected]-001. My name in system is: Mary Walie and locates at 1139 meadows dr. Grand Prairie, Tx 75052.

I just paid $6, 000 dollars for my Floors to be installed in my home. Today while moving the refrigerator into my home, the delivery guys scratched up my floors. This is a huge mark running through my dining area / living room. There are also marks In my kitchen as well.

This is unacceptable and I am very mortified and livid that my $6000 floors now look horrible. This will reduce the values of my home. The repair guys tried to repair but, but marking on my $6000 will not suffice.

This needs to be repaired immediately or replaced. Please give me a call at [protected]. I need to speak to someone about this immediately.

My husband and I began with the opening of individual accounts with your company. We have truly valued our experiences from the in store customer service in Jackson, Mississippi which were excellent. We as consumers are encouraged to select the best companies that fit our budgets and are worthy of valuing customers. During the first week when the furniture was brought into our home, the sofa bed was broken. The delivery guys noticed while setting up and decided to return it. They brought it back prior to it being broken stating that repairs were complete. The next following week the sofa was still broken. We invited family over for dinner when my brother had taken a seat and the entire sofa fell through. Imagine the embarrassment we felt. My husband generously completed the repair out of pocket himself.
The next event occurred after several months with making payments. It was explained to the both of us that we could make payments online on our account. For a couple of months I attempted to make the online payments and contacted the customer service online and gave them details of the issues that we were having to make payments. The online services were not working well because our contact information were incorrect. Well I proceeded to make the corrections every time I called. When I spoke to a customer service rep. I had to explain and I did and made payment as intended.
(It is extremely difficult to make payments over the phone because I myself works 8am to 5pm with six children that keep us extremely busy. This is why I requested the online payment information.)
It was explained to us that we entered into a 12 month same as cash plan. The details were not explained thoroughly. When we called in December 2018 to get a payoff. The customer service agent explained that we could not get the payoff for the same as cash for 12 months because there were late payments on the accounts. I called and called and informed several agents about having trouble making payments because the phone numbers and my birth date were incorrect, in which I corrected every time I talked with someone.
Along with my husband and I being held accountable for attempting to make payments correctly and on time. The dryer, the sofa bed, and refrigerator were all needing repairs where my husband were making them himself. In place of creating more hassles.
Which brings me to this last incident. Where I made a payment on this account over the phone with a live representative. On the next morning, I received another call from another agent who verifies that the payments were received the day before but had no idea what happened to the payment. Also, I updated that current information again, phone number, birthdate, etc… again.

It is unfair, that my husband and I must endure such careless business. We are very unhappy with the billing process along with giving out our personal information over the phone and with our personal account information for someone to say they have no idea where the payment was.
I have truly had enough. It is because my husband and I have spent well over the monies that were expected in this account. We would like to resolve this issue ASAP.
With all the faulty practices going on in businesses. What level of management would I need to proceed with some actions being taken moving forward before seeking legal counsel?

This is truly unfair and we have spent too much money with this company to deserve such awful services.
