I signed a 12 months contract for gym memebership. After 12 months I expected to relapse and the direct debits to stop. The contract was meant to finish on the 16 of February, but to my surprize Configure Express still charged me.
When I called them they indicated a clause on the back of the contract which says I have to contact them in order to cease the contract and give them 30 days notice.
A contract is a responsibility on both sides and all thou I signed this contract and I agreed to all it's clauses, I expected to receive some kind of notice ( via e-mail or mail, the gym is collecting all this data) to ask me if I want to continue or not with this contract.
I will be greatful if something will be done to help people in my situation, I am sure I am not the only one.
