I'm complaining about the system issues that caused my games to wrongfully lose twice to a certain opponent. When an opponent makes a move, the game alerts you to make a move. If a person idles on their move, the game automatically declares the win to the opponent. I brought to customer service attention that their alert feature did not work which caused me to lose two games I had the leading score. However, customer service belittled my complaint by not asking tech support (programmers who can modify the game) to reset the game in a fair manner. This matter should be escalated to a manager in their department to simply reset the games.

I worked with WWF2 for years and never had a problem, don't interact with the other players, make comments or have any issues , but the other day my game started lagging and freezing up so I off loaded the app, then uploaded the app again hoping that would solve the problem, well when I went to open it up it put up a big sign stating I was banned from playing due to illicit and bad behavior! Where the heck did that come from? What the heck did I do? I have the right to know what I'm being banned for! I've been on that app ,and WWF1 For good 5 years, so you tell me what the heck I did? I don't corrospond with the other players and I don't make comments! Don't tell me to read the terms bc I have, and I don't see a single thing there that pertains to me or my actions ,so you're gonna have to spell it out to me! I haven't done anything different for 3-5 years so let me know what you suddenly came up with to BAN me from a crossword game? No other game has banned me, so spell it out, I have a right to know what I'm accused of! I have money still in that game too, so what, you gonna keep that too? Probably why I'm banned! Sad you have to lower yourself to such tactics to take someone's money!
Arrrgh! Yes all of the above. Mostly the letters that get stuck in the wrong places in the board or they won’t move period. Want to opt out of that ridiculous game with the boxes and awards etc. just want to play the word game. Don’t want to win anything! Word acceptance keeps changing as in (te) and (vu) didn’t know I could use these or many other “new” words.
I hated WORDS 2! SO...I opted to download the OLD game, WORDS WITH FRIENDS, now renamed WORDS CLASSIC. Gone are the ridiculous teams, along with stupid contests to win absurd "badges" which are non-fungibe, of course. If you want to devote your life to this word sport, we should have WORDS tournaments, where we would wear all our earned badges on a badge sash, or on the lapels of our lovely blue WORDS official blazers. (Hey! SCRABBLE has been doing it for years. It's a whole subculture. But I digress: after switching over to WORDS CLASSIC, ionvited my favorite opponent's to join me. But guess what! Even if they didn't, all my games transferred overseamlessly. In other words, they can have all that fluff, but I can play anybody on that platform with no problem. I don't even know it, and those who are into the fluff, and have no other apps on their phones, can use up data like there's no tomorrow.

I'm tired of the algorithm giving me nothing but vowels the entire game, and when I swap, I get mostly vowels back. Or it's happening to the other player, and it makes the game unfair and not fun overall. Also, there are games that become 'out of sync' and you can't delete them or get them off your list of who is up next. Reinstalling the app does nothing. Too, the ads have become a real deal-breaker. 30 sec to 1 min ads between almost every game unless you pay to not have them. Not happening. The dictionary sucks, too. I've tried to play so many words that should be legal, but it says they aren't, or it takes years for them to be on Words' list. Lastly, the constant stalking by a lot of weird men, many of whom I have figured out are fake profiles, but only after I accept the game. I wind up having to block at least 2 raunchy, stalker [censored] every day. All these things have ruined the fun for me and I'm pretty sure I'm just going to stop playing altogether. It's too annoying and no fun anymore with all these issues.
Absolutely, this happens to me all the time. I believe it is designed to keep the individual spending more coins/ and in turn buying more coins. I am so sick of it I plan to uninstall the game as soon I finish the games I am involved in now.
I can no longer play when it is my turn unless I force quit the game. Each time. Does anyone else have this problem? Reinstalling does not solve the issue. And I do have the latest version in my iPhone.
Have you cleaned out your cache regularly? You can just confine it to WORDS. Go to your app list, and clear the cache. You should do this as often as necessary to speed up your phone. Do this with all apps that use a lot of data .
Been playing since 2011. The rules change weekly. What’s with 1 coin for bonus? Takes5, 15& 20 to use them in a game. Now you can watch a video to get 3 extra but most of the time you can’t because it’s LOADING... come back later. The dictionary sucks. I was denied the use the word [censored] and my friend used it in the same game later. I will NEVER pay money to buy coins. What a rip off. WWF is only trying to make money off of players and is less and less user friendly. I love this game but thinking of quitting because I’m feeling ripped off the rules change to work against us and the dictionary is a joke. Charge me 10$ a year but quit jerking me around! Oh yes and dump the male stalkers. I turned one in and he’s still bugging me. And my profile picture is my DOG! Really?
If you have blocked someone, and somehow they continue to issue challenges, or show up as suggestions Play Someone New, that is a serious violation of the rules which we all agree to. There are ways to communicate with the game directly, but apparently they don't you to communicate in a forum like this. It's just you versus ZYNGA.
The place where I get my rewards is messed up. All I see is a pink back ground. HELP how can I fix this? Thank you
There are several issues with WWF. Firstly, the dictionary is appalling, and it's even worse if you use the UK Dictionary. Perfectly acceptable words are not recognised, while initials, not even forming acronyms, often are allowed. In one game, a completely unacceptable two-letter word was placed by my opponent and allowed, while my next move, attempting to place the identical "word" was disallowed. I have screenshots, as it's happened more than once.
The second issue is the random opponent who starts a game and then starts in with the inappropriate chat. This has happened so many times I've lost count. Luckily I don't care about my stats, since I just like to play, so I resign the games. But it's very, very creepy.
And I'm with the person above. I don't care about the stupid boxes, or daily challenges, or anything other than the game.
It isn't possible to contact Zynga and get a response, which is also wrong, wrong, wrong.
You used to be able to challenge Zynga's rejection of a word for no reason, such as allowing some place or city names, but not others. And the incredible prissiness in the American game! That Has gotten somewhat better. Hey, the game originated in Spain. My suggestion: just chill with the nonsense. You can always switch to SCRABBLE.
I am cross my games takes much longer now because of the interruptions from Daily challenge. I don’t want to receive the stupid gift boxes, there is no benefit to them. It takes me twice as long now as before. Please give the choice to opt out as people have been asking you to do.
Really? I refuse to purchase coins, which allows you to swap without losing a turn, so I start my day of play by receiving my daily award of 1 to 3 coins, then watch a video to receive more Power UPS til I reach the number free ones allowed daily. LookBacks and BestWord placement hints using coins can come in handy in a well matched game, to finish best and first, so you are awarded any they have left over. Does this help?
Many words have been used by my opponents that I cannot play! io, bu, vu, etc. Can anyone explain why some people can play a word and others cannot?
Nope. It frustrates me too. And there is no way to get Zynga to answer, it seems.
Do you have WWF2, that would fix a lot of these complaints plus making sure have latest versions with fixes

I Don't get all my earned coins two numbers show up when I'm recorded wins I only get the first number which is much less then the second number I've loss hundreds of earned coins please fix this
I am fed up with men trolling wwf looking for a hookup. I am invited to play and the messages start immediately. Halfway through the games they resign when it’s realized that I’m not interested😡 I don’t know who’s legit or not!
I’ve tried to complain on the report section, but it doesn’t take. This game isn’t MATCH.COM. Men get on this game and is insisting on getting answers from the ladies playing. Either correct this problem or screen this perverts.
Do you have a somewhat "provocative" picture of your actual self on your profile? Delete it and replace it with anything, animal, vegetable or mineral. Please don't get the wrong idea. Let's face it, some men would find any random female of anybage or size, and wearing a potato sack, "provocative." And change your Game Name. I don't know how the same jerks would find you.
The algorithms are rigged so that zynga makes more money from you buying chips. I have noticed over time that if I cave and buy 5 bucks of chips to advance my chances of winning by the free swapping option; wwf2 doles out endless bad draws with numerous vowels. It happens over and over again. Also, the watching videos to earn chips goes away. How can a person save up enough chips to win a game when wwf only gives out 2 or 3 chips a day? This only happens if one has previously spent money on chips. Zynga has gotten greedy at the expense of their players. I am sickened by greed. Zynga is banking on players getting impatient and frustrated so that they go ahead and spend 5 more bucks to have a bank of chips available for tile swaps. I abhor dishonest people. . A game that used to be a joy to play has turned bittersweet because zynga decided cheating and manipulating its players was lucrative!
I have the same problem people who start games in Hope's you will become frustrated and resign especially if you are winning. I have another problem smart search is stuck so I can't even get more players. Friends needs to suck it up buttercup and fix the problems and stop giving you a ticket number what does that do? I can answer my own question because they don't have to in actuality they don't care if they lose a few honest players, the way this is handled is shameful.
Firstly, Words with Friend is not a fun game anymore. You cannot put a vowel near most letters, Should have left it the way it was, myself and a lot of players are losing interest in playing a game that once was fun. Lastly, Not such a great idea winning throughout the game the last minute your opponent wins, that is awful and very unfair. It happens quite frequently lately. The designers of this game need to rethink their strategies. Thank you.
I am complaining about the people no start games and don't finish them. There is no time frame of they haven't played were they should time out of forfeit. I have 30 people who haven't played in days. Why should I have to resign to get them off my board. Something needs to be done about this. Could you please check into this matter. Thank you.
