This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an online merchant - I ordered 3 dresses as a gift for my cousin's baby who was celebrating her first birthday. The website asked if it was a gift and I said "YES" - well, the ordering and paying was easy enough... no problem there. The problem is it took over a week to even get a shipment notification, then when I got it, it came in 3 different tracking numbers - 1 package for each dress. Now, let me ask you this - if you are the recipient of this gift, and got 1 dinky dress, you would said "oh yeah right" but the objective was to give all three dresses together to make a "wow - thats a beautiful gift, all 3 in different colors and designs, how lovely"... so now, my cousin will get each dress separately thinking what a cheap shopper I am ... not to mention it was shipped a week after the order and then another week for the product to get there! What a horrible shopping experience - stay away from this site.

I would no recommend this site to friends and family. I had spent over $300 the last 3 months and i am very dissapointed. Even walmart have better and durable clothes for kids. If you are lucky you can get a few good items but overall the quality is terrible, the clothes are not true fit and the worst is they don't offer returns.
I have a 24 old month son and a 4 1/2 girl. The clothes so far run too small and not durable. They have only worn the clothes just once.
Im small pettite. I bought two small women dresses and they were terrible. The dress is one piece, the top part was way too small and the bottom xtra large that I had to fix the bottom part. The other dress was a waste of money.
I am waiting on a 100 dollar order that I m hoping at least the cloth to be better however it will be my last time I shop from clothing.
I can say the only items I am satisfy is shoes. I bought few sandals for my daughter and myself so far are good.
Zulily - as a vendor selling products to them, they are dishonest, and very underhanded
Our company is based in Canada and we have dealt with Zulily for several years. Yes we had the occasional shortage, but the trick is to go to your buyer or vendor contact. They have an overage and underages report. No matter how hard any company works and gets 99.9% accuracy - some mistakes will happen. What we do is poly bag, and use the barcodes zulily...

I have placed 5 orders with Zulily and I have only received one. It is bad enough that you have to wait a month for your merchandise to ship, but you will also receive a tracking number and the package SUPPOSEDLY makes it all the way to your local post office, then it is returned to sender for reasons unknown. I've called customer service the 4 times this has happened and the only answer I got was, "the post office is too lazy to deliver your items." HUH? REALLY? Then, it takes another 2 weeks to have your money refunded back into your account. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Registered and ordered three items, via PayPal, for daughter on the 4th of March, 2012, for the first time, checked Paypal and transaction was completed. Checked Zulily account on the 8th, stated "Items are in transit to Zulily" (Ok), checked account again the 16th, stated "Items are in transit to Zulily" (Huh?), checked on the 20th, stated "Your order is confirmed." (WTF), the order status went backwards. Sent two e-mails making a simple request - Cancel order and refund payment. Received two automated e-mails stating will get back to me as soon as possible. On the 24th opened a dispute claim against Zulily through PayPal's resolution center and escalated it. On the 27th, they've canceled the order, but have not issued a refund.
I order some merchandiste for women, and kids the last of June during the big sale event. I have gotten two items which were dresses and not received any of the other items, There were two pair of sneakers for little kids and well as outfits for them also. Can someone please let me know something about the rest of my items. Thank you Rachel Bracken
shipping takes forever
It's pretty bad. They have adorable things, but shipping takes FOREVER! and is not even free. Literally, order a size up if you plan to get kids things because you can expect close to month. And even when you think it's on its way because you see a UPS tracking number, they have requested that UPS transfer it to USPS for local delivery. So it takes even more time. And I live in Philadelphia (center city) so there is no reason it would be easier for USPS to deliver. That, and there are no returns. This is basically a big drop shipping company, and it's SOOO not worth it. Shop elsewhere!
their blanket looked like something out of goodwill
I bought a cute baby blanket at zulily for a baby shower gift. It was in a sealed bag with a hanger and it looked beautiful, it looked like an expensive blanket. I took it out of the bag to wrap and the other side looked horrendous. It looked ragged, pilled, like an old blanket. It looked like something out of goodwill. They made one side beautiful and completely cheaped out on the other side. I don't understand how they can sell such shoddy items. I had to immediately go to a baby boutique and buy something more suitable. I'm so glad I looked at the other side of the blanket, I would have been mortified if I had given this as a present.

Great prices, true. Horrible service... And I mean horrible. It takes forever and ever and ever to get your items.
One time I contacted them three minutes after I placed an order because the delivery address was not listed correctly on the confirmation... It was right when I placed the order. I was told they would get back with me three weeks after I placed the order to say that they had given the correct info to the vendor. Two weeks later it arrived at the wrong address over two weeks after that they e-mailed to say they could not contact the vendor. Sorry.
It is unbelievable how bad their customer service is. Only order with the understanding it will take 5-6 weeks to arrive... And you can't change your order or get a refund.
Wish I'd looked for more reviews before using Zulily. More than 2 weeks after purchase until the first baby gift even shipped. Second gift is MIA. Will never use them again.

I will delete emails and my shopping app for zulily. I have had numerous orders take a month before arriving. I ordered emu boots 16 days ago and they still haven't shipped. One pair they cancelled yesterday- which I was expecting since they had spelled the name wrong and I figure priced them $100 below what they should have priced them. Comparing the boots I ordered to the rest, it appears they should have probably typed in $154 instead of $54. It was no surprise to me that they just cancelled the order. I used my $10 in store credit and I am done shopping there for good.

order months and months in advance if you want something
I ordered Christmas presents for my girls 3 weeks before Christmas. 3 DAYS before Christmas I get an email saying sorry for the inconvenience but we aren't shipping you your item at all. You'll get a refund within a few days and a paltry $10 credit towards another purchase. We go out of town and stay with family for Christmas so I shop online and have items sent there. This is the first time I've used zulily, After getting this message I called to find out what has and hasn't arrived at my family's home and apparently only half has come. Hopefully the rest arrive in time and Christmas wont involve me explaining to my daughters why its a bad idea to trust shipping times online and to order months and months in advance if you want something!

I should have known better! As before- my order has not arrived in time. Oh, they took the money out of my bank account weeks ago BUT I have yet to receive my order. There is no phone number i can call and no website I can find to inquire about the whereabouts of my order. It's my fault, because I KNEW the promise of "receive before Christmas" did not state Christmas of 2011... This is the SECOND time and the LAST TIME I will order anything from this site. I will spread the word to my co-workers, friends and family to NOT order anything from ZULILY.

failure to deliver item on time
I ordered the item on 11/24 and expected it to ship within 10-14 business days as the email said. When I contact customer service the rep said it could take up to 4 weeks for the manufacturer and then an additional 10-14 business days for Zulily. Then stated that I could cancel my order. I replied, no resume the order and got no response. A week later I called customer service and they still couldn't tell me if my item would arrive in time for Christmas. They asked if they could call the vendor on my behalf and I curtly declined their offer. I called the vendor and she was "driving in her car while on the phone" and explained that the manufacturer had suffered from a widespread flu outbreak and a bad snow storm. She is supposed to get back with me to ensure the item will be delivered by Christmas. Still no word.

I wish I had the opportunity read the reviews on this site before ordering from Zulily on the advice of a friend. While it appears they have "really great deals" on paper, you really need to consider if the wait and potential for disappointment are worth the so-called "bargain". I ordered 4 items 2 weeks ago, and just received an e-mail saying 2 of my 4 items aren't available, and the other 2 are still in line for being packaged and shipped. I'm hoping I receive them before I'm supposed to gift them at Christmas time, but I'm not holding my breath since it's more likely that I'm going to receive another e-mail telling me my other items also aren't available. In the meantime, I've already purchased backup gifts for those two members of my family. In this day and age, that sort of turnaround time is absolutely unacceptable.
Then they try to give me a $10 credit at the website - like I'm really going to EVER use them again. No thanks, guys.

Placed 1st order on 10/8 and two other orders a few days later. Have received nothing as yet but credit card bill of $152 which I've already paid reluctantly. Now I find this site and read these horrible reviews. These are Christmas gifts but I wonder if they will even be worth given after reading all this. I feel sick! Work hard for my money and certainly don't wish to share it with a company of this type.

First/last order with them took over 1 month to fill. Book was warped, button misaligned on hat, stitching on a button of a shirt clearly not matched to other stitching. So clearly the merchandise is "rejects" from distributors. And no refunds. Stay far away!

don't disappoint yourself or a loved one
If it seems to be too good to be true; it usually is. No returns. Duh! Wow. Just. Wow. My three year old daughter loves receiving packages. Not today. My husband and I had to explain to her that the clothes were unwearable. Did they go through a shredder? I'm serious. They 100% misrepresented the clothing on their site. The quality is lower much lower than expected. zulily's a complete waste of time and money. I have one more order on the way. I'll absolutely report back in a month or two. Trust the reviews. Don't disappoint yourself or a loved one. Sad.

I've ordered from this site a few times, and each time I've waited over 3-4 weeks to get my items, with no update communication from the website. I also DESPISE the no returns. Every single item I have been interested in during the 2 years I have been a member has always been non-returnable. This is just not possible with little kids. I'll stick with Hautelook and Gilt from now on. At least they have return policies on their kids items.
shipping scam
This company has the worst shipping policies that i have ever seen. My purchase (If they actually follow through with shipment) is supposed to ship 3 weeks after purchase. In this day and age this is just ridiculous. Wish i had done my homework beforehand and knew of how many wait for weeks and never even receive their items. This is a total scam because this company takes money for a purchase immediately - - - am i providing them with a loan or something? Really. If a customer pays for an item, they should not have to wait a month to "possibly" receive it.
After much wrangling and having to get rude (I really hate that !), Zulilly offered me a $15.00 credit. I didn't bite and wrote them a long email outlining the problems I had with them. After getting very angry, and telling them so, as well as informing them that I intended to post at this site concerning my experiences, they offered me(this time one of the big boys handled my email) a further $20.00 credit. Not expecting much, I ordered a pair of boots. I must give credit where it is due and say that this transaction was just right on. They shipped two days prior to their estimated ship date, the merchandise is great, exactly as pictured, and very satisfying. I still would not recommend them to my friends and have informed them of that in a letter congratulating them for this transaction. I hesitate to order from them again, but will do so if only to see if they maintain the service I just received. I do not relish dealing with a company which forces me to become angry and rude in order to get what any customers has a right to expect, but I believe in giving credit where credit has been earned and they have earned it. I also have to weigh the sheer numbers of transactions this company must make in a day against the few complaints here. I recognize that there must be many who just do not make their problems known to the public, but I am willing to give this company another chance. I wish there was more followup on this.
Bought two pairs of boots on 11/27. Order confirmed and my money went into their account immediately. Promised shipping was for four to fourteen days. It is now December 14, seventeen days no matter how you look at it, and not one word from them as to whether the items have shipped. Wrote a complaint letter, got no response. I am now afraid that my money is gone and there will be nothing to show for it. They would have to give me more than $15.00 to get me to recommend their site to anyone I know. I plan to warn people in my circle of friends. I will avoid this store in the future. I sell things online and I know how long shipping an item should take. They haven't come close. Am beginning to wonder if the whole thing is a scam. In addition(will reserve definite opinion when, (if ever) merchandise is received) but I have some doubts about there ability to sell $59.00 boots for $16.99 and still make any money.
