I've only been on Zoosk for about two weeks and have noticed that I'm getting repeated views from certain profiles, showing that they are regularly viewing mine. I'm now aware that Zoosk are running an algorithm that makes this appear to be the case, but in reality is false. I've also had Zoosk notify me that some of them want to chat with me, this is not the case. I have contacted many people who Zoosk are trying to lead me to believe are regularly viewing my profile and sending chat requests and they have stated that they haven't been viewing me, or sending chat requests and that they are having the same experience as me, we're being scammed in short. I've Googled this and it's a common complaint of Zoosk, which I'm sure you've got a well rehearsed response to.
I'm not interested in your standard response to this common complaint, I just wish to have my subscription returned to me in full. I will be deleting my profile with Zoosk very soon, as it's a common scam, making people believe that numerous people are interested when they are clearly not, manipulating them to return regulartly to Zoosk, manipulating people's emotions for financial gain, shame on you.

Scammer on zoosk, was on pof where I met him, then chatteredfor over 4 months . Claimed to be a gold bullion Dealer, got into trouble in Johannesburg, needed money for lawyers, asked for $24, 000 . I said no . The amount got less, I said no, until he actually asked that I but a iTunes card $200 and send him code. I said no .
He said he list his phone so could only email, these emails got less frequent, I actually feared that something had happened to him in Africa.
Then nothing until yesterday, another new profile, same man in the profile picture, on zoosk, claiming to be from Brisbane, Australia. I messaged this profile, omg, your ok. I thought you were dead.
The message came back, saying I had wrong person, and could he get my details so we could chat. I spent over 4 months chatting to the profile picture after meeting on pof .
I looked and searched . Put the image in to a online image recognition site, and there he is.
The person I was talking to on pof, now on zoosk, is using the image of Roberto Justus, a very wealthy man, married with children . All of the photos I was sent during the period I chatted to him, I found on Roberto Justus Instagram page. Roberto has a young daughter, the man on pof has a daughter, same pics, Roberto daughters name is not Angeline as claimed via dating chat. I have hundreads of emails from this person claiming to Peter Martinez, gold bullion trader. I don't know who the hell he is, but he image and his photos are that a millionaire Roberto Justus. He appeared only yesterday on Zoosk. It is a huge scam scam and needs to be stopped immediately.

I has disgusted with Customer Services. Sent me 6 emails stating that they could not get the person I accidentally deleted to contact me. Was it a scam? Also they sent me lots of men typically not my type. If I wanted to search, I had to pay for it. This has been the worst site ever. I'm going to take off my picture. I'm not happy since I paid £44. Support also sent me a message with a link, I could not even get into the link to read. What more am I gonna be able to do to get them to listen? I'm fed up already and its only a week since joining.

I cancelled my subscription with plenty time but have since been charged for a further month. I only subscribed for one month and cancelled before the subscription ran out, so shouldn't have been charged again. I purchased a one off monthly subscription with Zoosk NZ. It seems they have been taking money from my debit card for the last few months. They owe me over $120, I haven't even been using the app at all. Very disappointed as i never saved my credit details with them. In fact i never save my details with anyone not even spark my cell phone provider. I have notified bank, cancelled debit card and will be informing the police about this matter. As it is fraud / steeling whatever you wanna call it!

Seems odd that after contacting customer service on friday regarding another issue — his profile would suddenly disappear... Along with our full thread of both incoming and sent communications. Had he merely closed out his account... My messages would still be there...
There'd better be a very good explanation for this!

I paid for only one month of subscription and you charge me for 5 months now and Ive never renew it! I usually dont check my bank account but I did it today and found out about it. Its rediculous. I hope its some kind of mistake and I can get my money back.
Id like to add that I met somebody on your site so I can put a very good review and tell everybody how happy you made me but the one thing is the subscription. I hope youll sort it out in a good way for me because its wuite a lot of money...

unauthorized credit card charges
On march 29, 2018, I was already a "user" but not a "member", I considered being a member but saw the prices and decided no way! I then was automatically subscribed and then they kept hitting my account for over $264.00 in charges, 4 individual. This was over easter when I discovered when I attempted to pull out money to shop for my step kids that I had insufficient funds. I immediately looked online at my banking and saw that there were 4 more pending, I called my bank and they stated call back when they post. I did so and am now going through the process of disputing through them and my bank. I emailed zoosk and requested a refund immediately when I was aware that I could do this and that the transactions had been posted. This company is grossly unethical and should be shut down! Do not use this company for anything and certainly do not enter your credit or debit info because as soon as I did it was like the system automatically took that info and subscribed to service after service after service. I do not know how they sleep at night, I will be contacting the federal complaint board, and writing every letter I can to whoever I can to prevent single mothers like myself from going through the mess I did, some people I have read have been charged 1800. Beware

I paid $29.95 - the money was taken and then I am told after the fact I am blocked from the web site and I am not told why- yet they keep my money.
I want a refund, my $29.95 back.
If the services cannot be rendered by the company - the funds should be returned. I was not told of this until AFTER I paid.

You need you to deactivate the account luckyme (D. Mcleod) He has an STD which he has given many women. He DOES NOT use protection and is putting women's health at risk. To keep this profile up after knowledge of this is NOT unethical. Please help protect women.

I joined this site in late November/early December 2017 for a 6 month period. At the end of December I put my profile on hold since I was going away for a month. When I returned at end of January 2018 and tried to log on I was unable to gain access. I hit forgot password (although I was certain of my password) and was sent a link to change. Tried again and still could not get in. Eventually I could not even get link so contacted customer support. First they said my email did not exist on system then they finally told me that I had been blocked for security purposes and if I wished to use up my paid subscription I would have to create a new email and log in again. I said I did not want a new email and I wanted my profile so I could ensure all photos were deleted. I received various answers, demanded to speak with a supervisor (sounded like it was someone in their car) and was told same thing. They assured me that my profile had been deleted. Today I received an email from their site saying someone has looked at my profile...so what does that tell me? I have contacted them again to ensure they do not renew my subscription as I am unable to access my profile to delete subscription. This is a bogus site that is unethical in its practices. Even the short time I was on there I was contacted by fake profiles.
monthly subscription cancelled but was still charged
My monthly subscription with Zoosk dating service was supposed to end on March 14, 2018. So, to alleviate any question on resubscribing or being charged for another monthly subscription, I cancelled my account on March 13, 2018 and have an e-mail that states my subscription was cancelled. On March 14th, I found that they had still taken the $29.95 monthly subscription fee from my account, and claimed that I had to cancel 24-hours in advance. No where in their "Terms of User Agreement" contract, or in the e-mail I received from Zoosk, does it state that you must cancel your subscription 24-hours in advance. I then called them on March 15, 2018 for a refund of $29.95, and they denied my request.
No where on this page does it give the option to "attach" any documentation, as I would have included my e-mail from Zoosk.
con artists posing as potential dates
I signed up as a trial member, I've had 3 potential woman supposably looking for a relationship. But all 3 women's locations we're false, they were however all from Gauna, Africa and not from the State I live in, which is Wisconsin. They all tried to con me the same ways into wiring money to them, first they convinced me to chat with them on Hangouts App. Then tried to convince me they were looking for a serious relationship, then sending naked photos of themselves, then stripping naked and putting on shows live via satellite, then gave me sad stories of how their Mum or Mothers that we're ill, or of a little child brother or sister that were ill, and begged me for days to wire money to them. All 3 women had wrote their mobile phone numbers across their profile picture on your site. All 3 women gave me false names, false ages, false job history or career. All 3 women used the same false first name, "Shelly". All 3 women asked for the same amount of money, $450. then when being rejected by me of agreeing to send $450., they all asked me how much I would be willing to wire them, I said none. And yet they kept trying to convince me that they were not criminal con artists . Finally I blocked them from contacting me. Your dating site needs drastic improvements. My suggestion is to make your customers verify their location, their true identity, perhaps verification with a photo of drivers license, that would show proof of both identity and location, and prove they are not from overseas, like Africa. I've read nothing but bad reviews about your dating site, complaints after complaints of how their are so many fake potential dates and costly memberships with hidden fees. I rate your dating site giving it zero stars. Maybe Zoosk name for the site should be called, "Fraud Dating" or "Date a Con" Maybe "Shelly Date"
unethical practices
Zoosk lists members that have not been active in years. I verified this through someone I knew whose profile had come up on site. I was recently billed after cancelling my account with Zoosk. I followed all online directions (which are not obvious on how to find) and cancelled my account. What Zoosk did not tell me was before you cancel your account, you must first find (which is not easy to find) the window that stops automatic billing. Automatic billing is enabled as soon as you start you account. Immediately after joining, I found this switch and turned the automatic billing OFF. This is something you learn to do on all subscribtions. However, 3 weeks later when I decided to cancel my account due to them listing profiles of people who were no longer active, I decided to completely cancel my account. Apparently when I did this, it turned my auto renew back on and I was billed a month later. Upon calling the number on my bank statement, I was told the best they could do was refund half of my money. During this time I was off the account, my password no longer worked to log on, so I know without a doubt that the account was canceled. So... they kept half of my money that they took from my account even though my account was cancelled and I no longer had access to it. (which.. by the way would be the only way to remove automatic billing) I ran into multiple scams and inaccurate information and non-existant profiles from people that had stopped using the site years ago. This site gives you false information about users and has questionable billing practices. NOT a happy camper here.
