I visited Zips for the 1st time on Saturday 3/14/09. I don't know why it happened but about 1/2 way through the tunnel my car stopped moving and I felt the left side raise & drop as the mechanical "Feet" on the conveyor rolled out from under my car. Then the truck behind me struck me several times with the driver honking her horn because she could not stop her truck from moving. I had to put my car in drive and drive out of the tunnel. I went in to tell the operator what had happened. My car is 8 years old and I did not care about the small nick in the bumper, all I wanted to do is make the people in-charge of the facility aware that there was a problem so it does not happen to someone else. I went to the person at the front desk & told him what happened. After a few minutes he came out and told me that the wash has ZERO responsibility for any damage caused at their facility and pointed his finger in my face telling me that either I backed up or the truck drove forward and their equipment never malfunctions. I told him to stop pointing his finger in my face and he said, "MAKE ME MOTHER F**KER". The situation escalated and he kept trying to get me to hit him. I have too much to lose to start beating the crap out of a little 20 year old idiot like this. I asked him for his name and he said�F**K YOU�� I told him I wanted his bosses name & he said, �NO� several times. I went into the front office to try to get the number off the wall, he got there first and took the number down off the wall and put it in a drawer. Turns out this little A-hole is the MANAGER! No one should ever go to this place! It is 10 bucks of wasted money to put up with this kind of BS. A place that would employee a person like this should be SHUT-DOWN!

My 2023 Dodge charger that i recently got off the lot not long ago was damaged in the tunnel, and they have agreed to reimburse me. Supposedly they have sent out the settlement agreement numerous times, however i have not received it or seen anything in my inbox nor spam.

The morning of 9/15/23 my paint on my Chevy Tahoe was damaged by the equipment. I exited the carwash and then saw deep swirl scratches in the passenger side upper fender that were not there previously. I gave my # and name to the attendant and received no response. I emailed the company and have basically been in limbo with no real response.

I have been trying to cancel my service for a week now and they make it impossible. I can not speak to a human being and the link they sent leads to no where!

Manager Eric turned this place around for the good! Dale ave. Zips was a mess a short while ago, Now all vacuums work, the lot is clean, plenty of towels and window cleaner to name a few changes. Thank you, Zips

On August 9,2023 about 4:45pm I went through the automatic wash and I still had bugs on my car in the front and I paid extra to have my tires cleaned. I went back around to have the guy check them and he told me he did not see anything wrong. I only had one tire clean

Would like a refund to my account for a membership cancelation of today. Funds were taken on 6/16/23

Canceled membership and was td I could not have a refund. Not a happy camper

When Zips Car wash bought out Detricks Car Wash, my wife and I were assured our monthly membership fees would remain the same. They lied and raised our monthly fees

Employee lied about getting my card for a month of unlimited Washes for a month. I specifically asked if this would auto renew and was told NO.

Next thing I know they are chaging my card 35 bucks for auto renew.

SCAM and unethical, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CAR AND DON'T USE THEM.

I received a gift card for Zips and used it for the 1st time on 3/28/23 at 3:08 in Fond du Lac, WI. If I didn't have money left on it, I would not go back. I had the $25.00 works and wow with the ceramics coating. The trunk to the bumper was left the same way I took through your wash, filthy dirty. This area was never touched with a brush.

Zips is charging my bank account 35 every single car wash. That's a full membership fee..EVERY SINGLE WASH.

I used this car wash using my debit card. A month later there's a debit on my card. Need to stop using plastic apparently. The thieves are out there -- zip car wash -- hoping you don't notice.

My father took his truck in for a wash in December 21st. There were multiple dents on the hood of the truck as well as scratches. He was told to speak with the manager who is no longer responding to emails. I have documentation of the incident including photos and video.

Extremely Bad Service at the Location on 3294 Poplar Ave

I've two incidents occur at this particular location.

One the employees appeared to drunk and yelling at me...

The Second incident was when an employee allow a customer to get in front of me ...

I'm cancelling my membership here and never returning...

While getting my car pulled thru the wash something grabbed or pulled the back quarter panel and trim loose from my 2018 fusion hybrid along with a loud bang sound heard on the inside of said vehicle. I wenr spent 25 dollars on maxium price amount and my car is still dirty like it hasnt been washed. I am not happy with the outcome.. i dont think ill be spending 25 dollars ... It still has bug on it and my front looks horrible. Id like my money back. I could have done better job washing it myself

I go to location on bowman. My tires never get tire shine. The attendants are very helpful because the vacuums be stopped up or they probably guide cars in the bay.

Poorly managed location

Equipment upgrade needed

That works consistently

I go often to this location and like other customers have problems with the sensors that open the gate

They often breakdown

The place is poorly run and needs competent managers and reliable equipment

Went to S Main location yesterday. The was a young man at the selection/money station. I asked if the machine was working and he said yes, he was there to sell the monthly service. I said no I just wanted the $20 upgraded car wash. Went though the car wash, did not feel like I was getting all the "extras" that the $20 wash was suppose to have but it was my first time, so not sure. After going though the air dryer waited for someone to do the other drying but no one showed up. Another car was coming behind me so drove over to the front. Same young man was walking across and I told him there was no one to dry the vehicles. Big smile from him, saying Yeah, there is only 2 of us and did not any dryers. Have A Blessed Day, he says like that magically made the fact that I paid $20 for a car wash that wasn't even worthy of the $10 price. It may have been my first time there, but it also my last. Any business that has 2 employees that have no problem solving abilities left alone to handle problems is not a business I will deal with.

In mid-May was approached by a member of Zip's Car Wash in Alcoa, TN.While in line at their establishment, he told me of this great deal of $14.95 a month, that I could receive unlimited cars washes per month.He also stated that I could cancel at anytime.On June 1, 2021 my credit card was charged $34.95.They only offer exterior car washes and free use of the vacuums.No way is a drive-thru was worth $34.95.I called my credit card company to start a charge back dispute and it still remains unresolved.In addition, my credit card company could not assure me no forthcoming new charges would not reoccur.Common sense says That I would agree to a charge of $34.95 for such limited services and why would the first charge be only $14.95 and more than double the next for the same limited services.

My complaint is specifically referring to the Asheville, Airport road location. I have the monthly medium level car wash package. I visit the carwash about twice a week. For the last two months zips carwash at airport road has not been operating correctly. Half of their mechanisms that spray down your car are not working. I think this could cause scratching to the paint . The car should be rinsed off before the rotating cloth strips start beating the front and sided of your car. If there is still sand and road grit on the car i feel that scratching of painted surfaces can occur. Also the drivers side blowers are not working and my car comes out wet . WHY am I being charged a full membership price and only receiving half of the services I paid for ? Does anyone else in the Asheville, N.C, area that uses zips car wash on Airport road have the same problem ? The other two locations in Asheville for zips car wash work perfectly ... I complained to the Airport rd Zips manager, He told me that an electrical storm had knocked out some of their equipment, but that was 7 weeks ago. DISAPPOINTED IN ZIPZ CAR WASH !

I decided to purchase their membership which was a big mistake. My first wash I noticed a scratch on my passenger door when I attempted to vacuum out my car but I made no big deal. The 2nd wash in the same place I have a chip paint which looks like a dent from their machine. I notified one of their workers who was very rude and unprofessional. I asked him for his name and his response to me was who me. I told him aren’t you the only one here? He eventually gave his name which probably was a lie (Dillion). I the. Asked him for his corporate number and he just ignored me and told me I was a liar and that their machine do not scratch nor damage people cars. I told him how would u know? He told me he’s the one that fixes it. I told him he needs to do his job a little bit better because the machine was a piece of [censored]. I’m waiting for their corporate office to contact me back which maybe never 😳.

I'm in Tulsa and while I haven't had that sort of experience. Mine goes like this. I went there and signed up for the wash club thing. 29.95 a month. I went quite a bit driving a new Camaro but after a few weeks I got tired of having to dry my car off every time. So I went in and cancelled my account. I took the sticker off or tried. The stupid thing left some metallic looking thing there and I had to peel it off with my thumb nail. Took quite a bit. Anyway, I wasn't really worried about it. Now I was looking at my bank account and see they've been charging me for almost a year! I have left them an email as there is no Company number I can find to call. I wonder if this is a normal thing for them? Now that I consider things, I probably got something in writing saying it's cancelled. This company does not seem too legit.
