Zarawigs.com Frustrated is an understatement to say the least

January 12, 2015 and January 26, 2015 I ordered a custom made wig and a quick shipped wig respectively. Until now I have not received any of the products. I have called, left voice mail, I have sent e-mails and still have not received not even a courtesy call.To say that I am angry and frustrated is an understatement to say the least!

I presently travel a lot and is home 3 to 4 times for the year. I will be in Miami May 20-24. So I am hoping to have the units then. When I ordered these hair units, it was under the assumption that they would be delivered in 2 weeks. I was wrong, but now it has passed the time you promised to deliver.

I am now convinced that something has gone horribly wrong.

I have left about 2 messages, but definitely sent 3 e-mails to which I have received no answer. It's been a month now since I placed my order. My 2 orders #457820 and #457826 were supposed to be delivered 2wks after being ordered. However according to your response I may have inadvertently made a custom order for #457820. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, But I placed the 2nd order, #457826 for a 2 week delivery and have not heard any response from you.

I would appreciate a call from you. [protected] or [protected] (Atlantic Time). I am 4hrs ahead of you. I will be home (Bermuda) February 23 -25.

I have been your customer too long to be treated like this. So I am thinking something has to have gone wrong.

Zarawigs.com Never received my item

I placed an order on 1/15/14, with the expectation that my item would ship within 4-5 weeks as stated on the website. It is now 6/20/14 almost 5 months later, and my item has yet to be shipped. I have had email correspondence with Jeanette their Customer Support Representative. I have been told for the past 5 months that my item is still in production and they have no idea when my item will be shipped.

The frustration of not receiving any productive feedback has caused me to dispute the charge of $212.66 from Zara Wigs. This is completely unacceptable, and extremely unprofessional.

I have been as patient as one can be under the circumstances, but 5 month is just too long.

Zarawigs.com Shady Business Practices

There is so much to say that is wrong about Zarawigs.com. This company is in the business of making lace front wigs. I was told that a custom made unit takes 6-8 weeks. First I want to address how they handle customer service. The only time you will get a prompt response is when you want to make a payment. Other than that they will take forever, like more that 24-48 hours to answer your email or phone call. If you try to contact them by phone it is even harder. It is very unlikely that they will ansewer the phone at any given time. Secondly, they use some wig maker in China. Who ever they are using they need to get rid of them. It will take you longer than 6-8 weeks to get your unit. When you try to ask zarawigs where is your unit they cannot give you an honest ansewer, or they will tell you it takes time to get in touch with the wig makers in China. Well I have been waiting over 20 days to get a response from zarawigs as to where my wigs are. At this point right now after being a customer with them for years I cannot take their shady business practices any longer. The units I have ordered over two months ago they have no idea where they are. They even had the nerve to send me an email that my units are ready to be shipped to me, only to find out after I made payment in full, that the units are not ready and they have no idea where my units are, but they took my money will quick. I have waited to get some sort of response at to where is the products I ordered and no one at zarwigs can be upfront and honest with me. I must say their customer service is horrible. Basically I am looking into getting a refund of my money. I would advise anyone looking into a lace front wig...BUYER BEWARE IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM ZARAWIGS.COM

SO PROVE ME WRONG...IF THE UNITS REALLY ARE IN TRANSIT TO ARRIVE THIS WEEK OR NEXT WEEK. PLUS SINCE YOU HAVE MY MONEY. IF THEY EVER REALLY GET THERE THEN SEND THEM TO ME. IF NOT THEN GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY

You know I payed for this service and recieved emails that my units were ready and then to make a payment. Instead of lieing to me just to get rid of me you should have been honest about what was going on. I dont like being lied to and having my money taken from me. I really cannot trust your company and I really do hope that you are returning my money. Every time I asked Jeanette where are the units. I was just told that Michelle is working on it. You know I have been asking since November 30, 2010 what is the status of my units and you have not been able to tell me anything. I received no information as to the correct time my units will be ready. You cannot take $1039.00 from someone and tell them lets just hope that they are in the next shipment. ALL I AM ASKING IS THAT YOU ARE HONEST ENOUGHT TO REALLY REFUND MY MONEY

First off you were never was straight up with me about this whole matter. I was asking you since Novermber 30, 2010 up till December 22, 2010 what exactly is the status of my units. I have every right to call you once you have taken my money in the amout of $1039.60 and have not reveived the merchandise or been given a correct answer as to where are my units. Every time I call you just tell me oh lets just hope for the best that the units will be here. You found time to post this on the message board but you did not ever tell me this. Every time Jeanette answered the phone she gave me no aswer as to where is my units. One thing I can say is that I did receive one email that told me my units will be ready December 10, 2010. Then when the date came and I was following up on this matter...Jeanette could give me no answer. Then I got an email December 17, 2010 saying my units have arrived and they are ready and to pay. Well I was able to reach somone to pay my balance only to find out that my units were not actually ready. I then asked well if my units are not ready then where are they. Once again you could not tell me anything. I PAYED YOU FOR A SERVICE AND YOU COULD NOT FULFILL YOUR END OF THE DEAL...PLUS YOU DID MAKE A MISTAKE AND NEVER EVEN CALLED ME TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY AND OFFER SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION.

I ordered a wig from ZARAWIGS.COM and the unit was not properly ventilated, After one week the hair started shedding to the point where baldspots were in the unit. I contacted them to let them know about the problem and told them I would order another unit and return the defective one for repairs when the new one arrived. I did this because I ordered from them before and had no issues with the custom units, but I never received a custom wig in 6-8 weeks. It has alway been more like 3-4 months, but that was not a huge problem for me at that time. One I received the new unit that I paid for, I shipped the defective unit and I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks to repair at no cost to me. GUESS WHAT, It has been 16 months, that is correct, 1 year and 4 months and I still have not received my wig that is supposed to be repaired, although it has been in transit to the US for 3 months now. I am so sick and tired of all the lies and excuses. I am at the point to now that if I do not receive my refund of my properly repaired unit, I am going to file a claim in court and I will just have to see Michelle in court. I don't have money to give away, especially in this economy. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM ZARAWIGS.COM. YOU WILL WASTE A LOT OF TIME, MONEY, AND ENERGY.

I NOW ORDER FROM SASSY SECRET OR PLATINUM WIGS AND I HAVE NOT HAD ONE PROBLEM. My custom wigs and unusual measurements are no problem with sassy secret or or platinum wigs. Everytime I haved ordered the units come in on time and the quality is excellent and I have not yet had to return one unit. Customer service is excellent and there are no lies about what you pay for, unlike the lies that Michelle and Jeanette come up with.

I will be filing a compliant with the BBB, as i send a wig in for repair. One of which I only needed a little more hair on the edges, which i wore for three months, and it has been over a year and the wig has not been returned to me. I don't call every day, at first I was just checking in once a month. I will never order from them again! I'd just like my wig back fixed or not.

OH WOW! I WAS JUST ABOUT TO ORDER FROM ZARA WIGS BUT AFTER READING THE COMPLAINTS I MUST ADMIT I DONT WANT TO ORDER...MAKES MR VERY SKEPTICAL AND AFRAID. I HOPE THE TWO LADIES ABOVE GOT WHAT THEY HAD PAID FOR, ITS JUST SAD...SORRY ZARA I MIGHT BE JUST TWO REVIEWS BUT THATS ALL IT TAKES FOR ME..I HAD REALLY LOVED YOUR WIGS A LOT. This customer has ordered from us several times. First, she orders units that are extremely long, longer than normal. Thus, they take a little bit longer to make, both because of sourcing longer hair, secondly because of the care that must be taken to ventilate longer hair without breaking the hair strands.

When her orders are near completion, she calls nearly 4-8 times daily, which makes it unlikely that she can speak to someone each time.

During this most recent order, I made a mistake. Her order is extremely similar to the wigs of another repeat customer. When asked if her units were here, so that she could be given a ship date, I just said "oh yeah, they are here". That was my mistake and I own up to it. No one attempted to mislead her, it was a mistake.

After the customer called, repeatedly, for two days, we refunded her without her even having to ask for a refund. When she paid her balance in full, we only AUTHORIZED her card for her transaction, because we do not charge the card until we ship, so we did not "take her money quick". In fact, we voided that authorization and her funds were released to her account.

First of all, she is not waiting 20 days for a response from us. Some people want to camouflage their complaints so we do not know who they are, but it's just not true. She has spoken with someone from Zara Wigs nearly EVER DAY this week.

If you have a problem with our service, you are perfectly free to voice your concerns for others to read. But embellishing, to make your story more compelling, is just wrong.

We never told the customer we have no idea where her order is. It is in transit to the USA. We never give customers exact tracking information on our inbound units because there can be delays in shipping, or in customs, so we give general timeframes so that customers are not expecting an exact date, then complaining if the shipment has been delayed.

The units will be here, they will be beautiful as expected, and they will eventually find a home with another customer. I am sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations but I am certain you will find another vendor who can adequately meet your needs for both fast production and consistently available customer service.

Zarawigs.com They do not send what I pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a complaint I would like to make on ZaraWig.com I ordered from this company three times in total enough mistakes for others to learn from anyhow, the first time I got what I ordered, I thought that my first experience with them was okay so I ordered from them again. The next time I ordered they sent me the wrong wig; it was nothing like the pictures so I sent it back. I called the company to explain the situation and I did not get anyone at first. I left a message and then "Michelle" called me back explaining to me that she received the wig and will be sending me back the correct wig since it was nothing like the pictures and it was misleading. So "she" said the wig will take another 4-5 business days to reach the company since they would be getting that shipment from "China" (Although The wig was listed as an In stock wig). I also paid for overnight shipment so when that wig arrives and they spend the day or two, according to her, washing and inspecting it, it should reach me within a short amount of time. IT TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS TO ARRIVE. During these three weeks I made numerous attempts to call the company to complain about the progress and the lack of responsiveness and to find out where the wig was but no one returned my calls. When she finally did call me back she said she "was not the Manager" she said she would call me back after looking into the situation. After much more phone tag she finally returned my calls to offer me a "DEAL" she said that she has "2 new kinds of latin wavy" and she wanted me to choose from the two wigs which one I wanted. Then she emailed me a picture of a TIP of the hair, not the whole wigs but just the tips of hair from the two different wigs she said I could choose from since it was "Revealed" she did not have the wig I PAID FOR (ergo this "Deal" choice between two other wigs that were Not what I paid for). So I choose one of two from the options she gave me. When the wig arrived It STILL did not look like the wig that I selected so I called just to let them know how displeased I was of the wig that arrived but I did not want to bother reordering since they make the return process so arduous that I did not have the time to go through the whole process of returning the wig AGAIN. So I simply kept what they Sent me (as they probably hoped I would).
Finally foolish Mistake number 3; I made another order with them. I figured hey let me give them another shot maybe I would get lucky (NOT). I placed the order for a wig and it took over a week longer then it should've to arrive so I placed a call to the company and I left a message to check on the status of the wig and they called me back. This time "Jeanette" is the one that I spoke to and She said the Manager "Michelle" is supposed to give her the information on whether or not the wig shipment came in since once again it is coming from "CHINA" (Although The wig was listed as an In stock wig). So I then told her I have an event to go to; I would be needing this wig for the event; I was telling her that maybe I could look online for something else and get something different if this wig took any longer. She then said " Wait a minute, she was looking through her email and then "Discovered" that the wig came in since the manager "Michelle" said the wig, the exact one that was in the picture I ordered came in so there was no need to choose something else." When this new wig finally arrived...Not what I ordered. Instead they sent me a shorter, cheaper wig that was NOT even the same kind of texture or curl I paid the higher dollar amount for! At this point I'm Extremely FedUp with ZaraWigs and I don't care to even Converse with them again in Any form or fashion, much less even CONSIDER ordering ANYTHING from these apparently Unscrupulous individuals EVER Again!

Zarawigs.com Terrible Service

July '09 I was suppose to take 6 - 8 weeks to get my custom wig. I should have known something when the consultant told me to contact Zarawigs directly. When I called Zarawigs the number, at the time, was disconnected so I called the consultant back to have her give me the status of my wig. I waited 10 weeks to get my wig and when it came in it was no where near the description that I requested. I wanted a number 2 with number 6 highlights and the whole wig was number 6 with a few number 2 low lights. So instead of a primarily dark wig, I got a blond Beyonce type color. I requested a light to medium density wig and I could tell that they razored the perimeter like broken off hair after a bad perm. I went through a consultant because I figured it would lessen any confusion; however, the consultant was at the mercy of Zarawigs. I could have gotten the same results myself online. I really feel that they sent me a stock wig that they attempted to alter to match my order request because I demanded that my wig be here before the event. I know that was not the wig that they ordered for me, but they had to provide something to get my money. I refused to pay or send back for revisions. Here it is Oct and I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my hair before an event. Hair was good quality, lace was beautiful, but it doesn't matter if everything else is wrong. If you must order, only order stock wigs that a consultant may have on hand. That way you know what you are getting.

I used Zarawigs for years and every time I ordered a custom wig it took at least three months but the last time I ordered two at the same time and they both took a year. With in the year I heard lies. I called the better business bureau but they really did not react until I call the Judge Matthew show and then they became afraid and sent my orders. They did not do right by me. I will not use them going forward. For wefts or instock orders they may be ok to use but custom and the 2 weeks orders I would not chance ordering unless you have months to get your order plus their is a chance you will not get the right stuff. It has happened to me twice. I have order 7 wigs and 3 glue applications.

This customer's order was taken by one of our Authorized salon consultants. It's a fairly new program for us, at the time, and as such, there was some confusion on procedures and other matters. the customer also placed a color request that was a bit confusing, but probably should have been clarified further. For the record, the customer actually ordered 1B and 4 with #6 highlights and 1B on the bottom. We consulted the customer and suggested a #2, however, we were not clear on how she wanted her colors blended and that was our fault.

The perimeter of the wig wasn't razored like badly relaxed hair. When the customer left the consultant's salon, she suggested that she would be back to look for another unit.

We can't please everyone and while we made some mistakes with this order, we do try.

It bears noting that the customer was not charged upfront for the order, so she is not out of any money for the wig itself.

I am sorry that we could not meet your expectations.
