customer service response needs to improve
The customer service now a days is not good by most of the female customer representatives. They have limited knowledge on how to activate the channels on laptop or tv for USA location. Their decisions are mostly dependent on their supervisor who will not be available to guide them at all times during support. There is a need to encourage other live streaming channels to increase efficiency.

The YuppTV.com keeps charging me even though I am not using their service anymore. I sent several emails and chat with reps few times with no luck. When I call it always goes to voice message. There is no way cancel my membership and avoid charges. Even they agreed that my membership is already canceled but still charing my credit card. There is no way to remove my credit card information from their system.

Just called my credit card company and reported fraud. It seems they are not answering calls, the cancellation emails are getting in queue and they are doing all this to stop people from cancelling. They know people will pull out without Star channels. My credit card company tried calling them and had same issue. Also forwarding emails to fraud department.

I have been using Yupptv from past 2 years. I haven't any issues with the billing . They always charge only for what am subscribe . They also put my package on hold when i travel india and once i am back i call them to activate my account. If you have issues with there billing please call them to get help instead of posting your comments here..

All these customers have called billing department multiple times, written emails and have decided to put their comments here after that. One happy customer can'take make up for 10000'sale of unhappy ones ... and people have right to complain if they are disappointed and have proof of fraud. What has it got to do with you ?
I signed up for a free trial and cancelled before the trial ended. But they charged me anyway, plus an activation fee. I talked to them 3 times, first time I was hung up on, the second time was assured my subscription was cancelled (but it wasn't), and the third time they told me I didn't cancel in time, even though I cancelled on the 5th day of a 7 day trial. Very dishonest company. I had to block my credit card to prevent them from charging me. NEVER trust this company. They are dishonest.
I had the same problem, I dint cancelled my subscription and cancelled my card and got it replaced with a new number, and now im not paying for it n still using the service, you seems to be a LOOSER, use some common sense you LOOSER.

next month charges before current month membership expiration
I subscribed to Roku High Quality Mega Telugu Pack on Oct 24th, 2010 and it is supposed to expire on Nov 2nd. I wanted to cancel my next month membership(Nov 2nd-Dec 2nd) before the current membership expires as there were lot of buffering issues.

So the chat agent confirmed that I will be charged for Nov 1st, 2nd and 3rd even though I wanted to cancel on Nov 1st (before my next month membership starts)

This is very shady practice and they are breaking their own terms and conditions mentioned on website.

For the past 2 weeks, YuppTV has not been streaming ETV channels. On contacting support, they simply closed the ticket with no resolution. The package is paid for the entire year. YuppTV is not responding to any queries for pro-rated refund for no streaming provided.
Please stop this ad..its really sensitive and threatening. Its background music and everything disturbs our mental peace.
