I had taken a package with asianet package. For the last two months, the channels are not available but am continuously being charged, Called customer care and they cannot do anything - neither provide these services nor refund the amount. Very unprofessional customer care. Keeps arguing that notification was sent out wherein I have never received one. Completely unethical and ripping off customers. Beware!

I understand due to Network's decision, the content is not available in YuppTV anymore. But what is the compensation for the customers? Either the subscription needs to be extended or prorated refund must be given. Not sure why YuppTV management is not making a business decision on this.. Its frustrating from customer seeing similar questions popping up w/o definite solutions.

Do not use this useless service. They abruptly stopped STAR channels without any notification and now that I ask them to cancel my package, they are throwing T&C terms at me. Well I have paid for certain channels and its their duty to provide them, and if they cannot, then they should return customer's money. Amazingly horrible service, never use them - save some money and look for other better options.

1. Ads slow our our service and despite the merchant's assurances, C they don't remove the ads. They have the screenshots and I have acknowledgements
Complaint reference number is 1283707. This was for ads. YuppTV's response is they could only manage to remove some ads. "We are sorry but we have an option to remove only the pre-roll ads only" - YuppTV support team
2. As a related issue, the speed of service is very slow due to ads and almost impossible to watch streaming TV. I even bought a new modem recently, but Xfinity and the modem manufacturer confirmed speed tests
3. As an example: YuppTV said several times that they received our tickets and complaints and acknowledged issues in their service. As an example, we lost 3 days of service. Complaint reference ID: 214777. We have to constantly call and complaint and they always request 5 days to resolve issues, so the service has never been satisfactory.
Lastly, the merchant is streaming content below not related to the program on their list (screenshot below). Reference number: 224194

I have a yearly package which included StarTV Hd. Start TV is the premium channel in the package and the reason we subscribed to it. YuppTV is not providing StarTv channel any more and refusing to cancle and refund the remaining amount. They offered to extend the package by two months but it is of no use to me as I do not watch any of thise low quality channels.

1. You cancelled STAR package abruptly, without notices or intimations. This is totally unprofessional!

2. What's with the freaking ads you monsters. I paid for an yearly service so I need not deal with this BS. You know how frustrating it is while flipping channels to wait for an ad?! You are making tv viewing experience horrible, and should ashamed for going directly against your vision.

Also, your interface sucks! Atleast on Roku...why should I select OK once more after I select a channel to view!

Anyway...what's going to change...do you even care? You already got my money.

This will be my last subscription...I rather pay a little extra for sling/dish and deal with real profrssionals. Good F****ing Bye!

When the star network was taken down from yupptv. I called them up for deactivation of service. The customer service guy offered me yuppflix and (1 month charge) amazon gift card. He told me that I woukd get GC in 1 week no matter if I continue or not. I continued my service for 1 month but I didnt like it. I never got the gift card. When I am asking them about Gift card they r saying we cant give u as u discontinued. I paid 1 month fee trusting the offer made by customer service guy that I would be in no loss as I would get gift card. Why was I offered GC when it cant be given? He told me 1 week for getting GC. But I never got it even after 1 month.

1. yearly subscription was for telugu gold which included Maa tv and Maa movies- These are not visible anymore. Unnecessary channel Gemini TV was added to the list.

2. Annoying ads before the start of the program - We are paying for the service not for the ads and Tv channels are givings their own ads.

Please remove those annoying ads. You guys are not transmitting the channels for free to encourage ads . we are paying for the damn thing. anyways the channels which u telecast are giving ads and modifying some content even while its being uploaded.
These tv channels are not important to us and we have too many choices as you are aware.

So please stop ads or we don't have an option to switch the provider.

In May 2017 yupptv sold subscribers in the US an annual package worth $500 which included Asianet, Asianet Plus and Asianet News. In fact these channels were the anchor channels for the service. On October 1, 2017 they cancelled this service and refused to refund, or compensate customers who were not interested in continuing with their truncated service.

There is no response in chat saying we will get back to you when ever I tried to chat for the past 3 times. I tried to call Customer Care there are 3 options all the 3 options are buzy for more than 10 mins. Last time they called after 1 day. I have a good experience before when I subscribed first but now they are not up to the mark. I subscribed a movie through Mac book browser it dosent play on browser due to security reasons, but still it dosent work on my Samsung Galaxy s8+ as well and my tab as well, it will expire only 1 day even after paying. I had talk with Customer care thrice over phone regarding my concern. And I surprised to heard that i will not be getting any Ticket details (Ticket # 1289686) or conversation over mail. So I am capturing over here the final resolution which I got from Supervisor Mr. Suresh.

Concern : Start TV Plus channel got removed from my Yearly subscription package as on 9/30/2017 around 18:00 Hrs PDT without any notification to me. I reached to Customer care and understood this channel been removed permanently. I requested for my subscription cancellation right away and to credit refund amount for remaining period, as main reason for my subscription for Start Plus Channel.

Resolution: Based on multiple discussion with Customer Care, Finally Supervisor Mr. Suresh agreed to refund amount to my Paypal Account within 10 days. Again I requested him to provide resolution to my registered email id, but he denied. I stated my paypal account over phone.

I am trying to connect Customer Care, but they are not responding The worst support I have seen in my life.

I am collecting information to file in Consumer Court. If anyone has already know the process. that will be helpful.

I have been a customer for almost 3 years now. Recently renewed for an year and now suddenly all asianet channels are gone without any intimation. This was the main attraction for the subscription. Anytime you try to contact customer care, the phone never connects. If you try to chat with them, they just close it stating they are experiencing high volume and will get back. NO response till now.Pathetic people who are just into money laundering.
I want my subscription to be cancelled and my money refunded.
I DONT WANT ALTERNATE CHANNELS...
I cannot pay for something that I didn't order.
Give me back my money.

YuppTV took out the channel we watch most without letting us know. Now I want to talk to customer service and have tried calling numerous times without any success.

I was on month-to-month plant and I would like to cancel my subscription, and I don;t know how to do that. There is no help available anywhere and customer service just does not exists.

Not sure how to resolve this!

On Oct 1st I lost the channels I had mainly subscribed for.
Now since today all and any channels on yupptv is totally gone. Nothing can be played. They called me on monday and left a message that I need to call them and they are going to resolve the issue. Since then I have tried numerous number of times to reach their number but no response, chat no response...

I subscribed to YuppTV only for that Channel for my mom in April 2017. Now, ion Oct 1st, 2017 - they discontinue that channel

I tried to contact them by phone and chat numerous times. They shut down that service. Nobody is even available in chat/ call etc.. They are giving the excuse of huge call volume.

They can not give the excuse that call volume is high... They knew it upfront that this will happen... They should have anticipated it...

We should file a complaint with Attorney General and FTC...

I Subscribed to Yupp TV for year package on June 11th 2017 for 179.99$ . And Yupp TV stopped broad casting MAA channels from October 01st 2017 with out any notice.I told them im not interested any more in yupp tv and asked them to refund my amount as they are not able to broad cast the channels they promised.

They refund me only $73.65 ( not sure how they calculate this amount even if it is pro-rata basis)

My concerns

1. they should refund in full as they failed to broad cast the channels i subscribed
2. Is there any way we can file suite on these fraud guys.

YupptV / unavailability of subscribed channels...

One of the worst customer service ..Either they not responding over phone or on chat or on email.. They removed START network channels without any notification. I don't need YUPP TV any more and I don't recommend this network to any one.

Worst thing, they not responding thru any channel. How customer gone resolve his issues.

From Oct-1 the star network channels are missing in the Yupp TV. I watch only the start network channels and it is no longer available with them it seems. No prior intimation was given about this. I tired to reach the Support desk, both by chatting and calling them.. nothing seems to be working. no response from them.
I am very much disappointed with yuppTV the way they handle the customers.
I want to cancel my subscription and ask for a refund.

I have subscribed the Telugu Platinum channels for 1 year.
My subscription ends on June 2018. On October 1st, 4 Channels are removed from my subscription, added 2 channels which we are not interested to watch.
So far no information was provided why they removed these channels.
No customer service phone number is working.
We regularly follow these channels that were removed. We need either refund the money for the services that are removed or provide channels on our interest and not based on their interest.
I have registered two complaints to YUPP tv.
for one complaint they replied saying sorry, but no information on how to resolve the problem.

I have subscribed to Telugu Diamond Package for a year and out of the blue since October 1st, certain channels Maa TV / Star TV channels are not available. There is NO notification to customers, Chat is non-responsive and Phone Numbers are on hold forever.

I have filed a complain on FCC.gov website as the company has violated the 30 day intimation rule to customers
