YuppTV yuck tv

This is a HOPELESS service. I had issues with my VODs and it had been my all time job for 10 days chatting with customer service representatives for minimum of 3-4 hrs each day. They made me do all stupid things that are possible with my Samsung bluray player. Same old process of repeating the issue from scratch for every new representative. Finally, I decided to cancel the subscription and I had to make the representative believe that my VODs are not working which again took 4 hrs. Finally, my YEARLY subscription was cancelled and it has been 2 weeks now that I did not get my refund. Now, this is my all time job asking for refund.

YuppTV yupptv - cheated billing

My first day of the new year started with a very bad experience with yupptvv billing haahaa. . . And i am still keeping my self happy for the sake of keeping my spirits high.
On 12 / 16 / 2014 i saw on yupptv.com website that they charge $19. 99 monthly and got this yupptv on 26th dec 2014 and any body would think it will be good through 01 / 25 / 2015. To my surprise again on 01 / 01 / 2015 they charged me $19. 99, and when i called them, they came up with some illogical reasons of acccount / device activation fee and they claim that it is mentioned in thier terms and conditions and which we all know how lengthy pages these terms and conditions with very small font these companies keep and normaly nobody would like to read. Thier reasons doesnot make sense at all and i got frustated and asked to them to simply cancel the account and which they did very honestly and said they will refund the amount of $19. 99 which is charged on 01 / 01 / 2015. But now since my account is cancelled i dont have yupptv though i have paid and good till 01 / 25 / 2015 which is ridiculous and insane. Honestly i dont even bother bieng valid through 01 / 25 / 2015 because their streaming always go into buffering and the streaming
Sucks, and i know some people in this forum have thier own view point that they dont have issue with streaming and may be it is thier experience and they can keep with them and since i am paying for my streaming i have every right to put up my point.

Please be careful with yupptv and with thier hidden agenda

Reced yapp tv box on friday, works but cannot see programe times. Live chat they advise yapp tv does not have a programme times, ask for refund they not willing to do it.

We got it initially for my in - laws who were visiting so signed up for a year, and they complained that in the whole day it works may be 15% of the time. We didn't pay as much attention, but now when we watch it once a week, it will be stuck, and thinking for ever, on every button press. With high speed internet connection, we get break dance moves, in the movies and songs and news that we watch.
Called customer service, they had us reset something, and even that did not fix it, she said someone will contact next week, and no response whatsoever.
Very frustrating.

YuppTV cannot resolve issue, asks you cancel the service

When you sign up initially they put on the servers where the streaming will be good once you go past 1 or 2 months that's it you will see all sorts of issues with streaming. They say when ever you have any problem you need to call them and spend some time along with for diagnosis, they will ask you to turn off TV, remove the TV power chord, rep will ask you to wait for 3 mins then put the power chord back and turn on the tv, they think TV and Modem work alike...don't be astonished you have do this 3 to 4 times, asks you open your laptop to play youtube videos, if everything works then they say the server your are on is overloaded we will put you on another servers which has less load, so customers has to be vigilant and keep calling them to put yourselves on different servers...imagine if you take 1 year service, how many times you need to pull your tv chord and get your server changed. Wonderful service.The reps accept there servers are very bad and we have to be patient enough and work with them to diagnose the issues.Oh wait, to get a refund, make sure you have paypal account or else sit in front of computer to create.

YuppTV unethical business practices

Hi, I ordered a YUPPTV annual package for 299.99$. I was given YUPP movies free. I wanted to subscribe to Eros movies but the company does not let you order the Eros movies package with out paying for the YUPP movies too. They sell YUPP movies for 4.99$ and Eros and Yupp movies combination for 9.99$. This does not seem reasonable or legal to me. I approached the customer service guy by name Venkatesh on Chat, he was not knowledgable and took the issue else where...cancellation and reorder... then you cannot cancel...then you can cancel if it is an upgrade...for more then an hour. Then enter the rudest customer service guy by name Vijay Prasad, I tried to explain what i was trying to explain to his colleague that they cannot ask me to pay for a product (YUPP movies) that is offered free to me just to order Eros movies. They should allow me to order Eros movies independently. I am planning to file a complaint with California attorney general's office (with the chat transcript ) but also put it here for awareness of other customers.

YuppTV yupptv dongle doesnt work from day 1

Yupptv dongle simple doesnt work. All live and catch up channels gives me just. I just bought it for $280. And the customer care simply sucks. They said it will fixed in 48 hrs. But still not fixed. Everytime I contact them they ask me to restart router and device. And then say it will be fixed in 48 hrs. Ridiculous exp. Not giving my money back as well

YuppTV will not let you cancel the service

YuppTV provides a crappy service. Their MOvie package is a sham. They are age old movies already freely available in YouTube. The streaming is so slow. Navigation is very painful to switch channels. Screen freezes so often. It is not my internet issue. After trying the service for 10 days -- Decided to cancel. They will not let you cancel. Finally they agreed to cancel -- with so many charges, including cancellation fee of $20.00 which was not mentioned at the time of subscription or in their website. Their Customer service sucks big time.

YuppTV it does not work with sony and they dont refund money

I have Sony TV and I looked up yuppTV called them before subscribing and they told me it will work as soon as I subscribe. When I subscribed and started watching the app automatically switches the channel. I reported the issue immediately and was technical support for three hours and then called billing team to cancel. They said they have opened the ticket and will resolve the issue. Its one month now and they could not fix the issue despite calling everyday. They say they cannot refund but can cancel the subscription is the response after one month

DONT EVER SUBSCRIBE TO YUPPTV.

YuppTV bad service

i subscribed to yupp tv last dec, 2013. and i am not at all happy with the service. vods are horrible. and online streaming gets stuck often, not worth the money. but they dont have a cancellation for yearly contracts. but i never thought i would have this bad experience with yupp tv, i had subscribed to other tv services before yupp tv and such an experience is a first.
please help us somehow, y should we waste our money like this. i asked for a package swap (equal value), even they dont have that option.

YuppTV yearly subscription

Once I singed up yearly subscription, at that time they are ready to cancel my monthly subscription and upgrade to yearly and refund my balance. Today I got another offer from "Yupp Tv" and I contact them for change to new offer but, they said I can't cancel or upgrade now because I have yearly subscription. When this subscription ends after only I can change my plan. I planning to cancel my subscription ASAP and find some other Service Provider. I AM REMINDS YOU THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. They don't realize if we don't stay with them, they can't survive. I am never stay with "yupp tv" in future and also I am "NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY THIS SERVICE"

I have ordered YUPP TV on 26th Aug 2015 and as per their advertisement they said I will get a yupp tv player. I have contacted their customer support for couple of times and they simply reckless and not giving a proper answer for that. And today is 26th Sep 2015 and still I didnt get that YUPP TV player. And ask them several times to cancel my subscription and they said they cannot do in case of Yearly subscription. This service is really really pathetic and I strong recommend my fellow customers to not to go with YUPP TV.

YuppTV service does not work

I have subscribed for a 12 months service. But the service does not work on the device provided by YuppTV.
I could not make use of this service, but I am paying for it.
When contacted, tech service did network trace but did not resolve the issue couple of times. I have spent 2 hours talking to customer service, but the problem is not resolved.
I am asking for cancellation and refund as I cant waste any more time. But company refuses to do so.

Very poor service. They cancel specific channels without any notice and still keep charging for same. On questioning they dont give appropriate answers. They will not allow me to cancel the subscritpiton.

YuppTV not able to unsubscribe

YuppTV rarely works for us. I have to call or chat with the support team every now and then to watch the TV. This is a great annoyance for anyone trying to watch TV at leisure. I never spent this much time with any other support team ever. The support people are not only unprofessional but suggest me to call them every time I run into an issue instead of solving the core problem. Every time I run into an issue they the support person says 'they turned a switch or made few changes on there end'. It works for couple days and then I've to call them again. When I ask them to unsubscribe me from their service, they won't.

YuppTV bad service

Extremely bad service, no reliability. They promise wide variety of devices supported for their service including DLNA TV ( via PlayOn software ) as well as PS3. Neither works fine, and after 2 months of debugging and contacting their customer support, Playon support and monitoring my network etc the problem is still not solved. Basically the issue is that the stream that they send is not reliable and gets stuck every now and then. Also they switch the US time channels according to their wish, so QoS is zero. I verified with PlayOn support that the issue is completely at YuppTV side. Also I monitored my wireless network, there is nothing wrong with it. Signal is stable, no channel interference, and no outages. But while watching a program suddenly it will get stuck and then restart from beginning, so continuity of service is not there. Also they switch programs according to their wish. I contacted their customer support atleast 8-10 times and every time they suggested some remedial measures as naïve as restart of modem/computer etc even promised they would resolve issue and get back, but to no avail.

Get this service at your own peril. They are offering some new dongle, I have not tried it and do not want to, even that they are requiring a six month contract. All in all, ridiculous service and ridiculous customer service.

YuppTV horrible streaming

Yupp tv got us to this horrible NEO TV device. ever since we got this NEO tv we are not able to watch programs peacefully. big buffering problem, content errors, had to struggle to play a video... OMG what not... This yupp had took us 1 yr full of money because of this device. Now we are not able to watch anything... fed up with this now... when we call yupp they say they are changing our streaming to the near by server. After doing that the problem got increased... we called them again and they say we are aware of this problem and it will be good in 24 hrs... its been a week still having the problem ...
Don't know whether yupp sees my message, but i am soo frustrated...

YuppTV service & policy

Hi,
I subscribed to YuppTV 2 weeks ago & it has never worked since. I have tried 2 times to get the problem resolved. In both occations the technicians recommended me to buy a new TV (I have a Samsung 6 series BTW) & the 2nd time the Customer service manager advised me that my PS3 has an issue. The most ridiculous solutions I've ever heard.

YuppTV charging without knowing my attention

YuppTV they themselves called me a month ago and they said they are giving initial month free of charge streaming and after the end of trial period they said they will give me a call before signing up for the any of available YuppTV plans, but before ending the trial I had sent them an email for cancellation but no one looked into it and no response from them yet, but they did charged me for the Plan I am not interested in, when I called them they said they wont be able to make any refund. what a annoying customer service and they dont stick to what they say!

YuppTV false promises

I am being the customer from last 1+ yrs. Initially I took Roku player, I was told this is not suppoerted now for the renewal. I purchased Sony Blue ray Player and took the Mega package with $139. I was told that is not supported for live package after paying the money. I asked the team to cancel the order. I was told that YuppTv would offer me the NetGear Device for free and I will get in 24hrs. I have not received anything so far. When I called the YuppTV Support today they told that earlier team made a wrong promise. Now its not possible, we need to pay $40.

YuppTV cheated

First we had silver new package but since roku streaming devices have sent a mail that they are not going to support the yupptv. So we had called to the yupptv customer care and spoke to a agent name roopesh, and order another device which support the yup tv, we was given an offer that if we take a yearly package for 199.9 $ silver new movie package then we would get the streaming device for free. We have checked the offerr online and it was fare enough, and the package contained all the regular channel along with Gemini movies as well as few free Hindi movie channels like Utv movies, zoom etc. So we have deactivated the old package and changed to new one and the whole amount of 210$ along with delivery charges. BUT after one week we came to know that we have been cheated and when called the yup tv customer service they have not responded instead told that we have not activated Ny new package such cheaters they were. Seriously we didn't get any device as well as not get the new silver movie package . Can any one please let me know whom to call to get my issue fixed and also wanted to complain on the customer service e employer whom had misguided US. I would really suggest people not to go for yup tv because it's not only me who have faced such problem but even my friends.so guys don't go for yup tv they are other online service to check them out. And kindly any let me know how can I get my money back.

YuppTV horrible service

I have yupp tv for past 9 months. They sent us a roku box for free to connect yupp tv. within three months it broke. They sent us a new box. That worked for 5 more months then all of a sudden it saying that my roku was not activated. I called them they said that I have 3 more months of membership. and they said that my box was activated with another roku box. Then I politely asked them to my roku box on a Saturday. He said that he can activate it by monday. I am trying to call them every day. I couldn't get the connection even after a week. Again they are saying that I need to wait until Monday again... and I don't know what to do. They are thinking they got their money in advance so they don't even bother to resolve my issue.

YuppTV disconnected without notice

I used to have YUPPTV account. Every month they are deducting the amount from my credit card. Since I wasn't using their service for a while but recently when I tried watching a channel it says I am not subscribed for anything. I checked my credit card statement and all I see that amount for this month is already deducted. After interacting with the customer care using messenger I came to know that my account has been deactivated for no reasons and with out intimation. They don't have any explanation for this. Simply say sorry. I was so angry wanted to talk to their customer care people and give them their earful, The moment I started venting out my disappointment over the their rude way of handling the customers, she just vanished, no response from the other side. THis is the pathetic service I have ever seen.

DON'T EVER GO WITH YUPPTV. Apparently the way things work at YUPPTV is you will register with them expecting the service form them and you never know when they will disconnect you.

YuppTV awful service and fraud

I have been trying to get YuppTV to work on my Neo streaming device for over a week now. Everytime I speak to customer support, I am told that my "problem" has been escalated and YuppTV will get back to me in under 24 hours. It has been over 5 days and I have contacted support everyday, but get the same run around. Moreover, they refuse to cancel my subscription plan. Do not subscribe to Yupptv, they are a fraudulent company that simply wants to take your money.
