Yoursavingsclub.com charged my card monthly membership fees without my authorization. when I contacted them they stated that I had been refunded the amount and was credited back on 2/1/2008. as of today, 2/19/2008 I have not received a credit back from them. i tried to call them to speak to a service rep only to find out that it is an automated system and does not connect you to a rep. there is no option to speak to anyone, if you press zero it tells you that is not an option, and if you stay on the line too long it automatically tells you "good bye" and hangs up on you.

It says Congratulations you have been chosen to participate in our Loyalty program for free and it says confirm now and it ask for some information and a card to secure the shipping. I get my cc statement and they charged $1.95 that day and then one month later a charge of $99.95. I would like my money back.

On june 16, 2008 I attempted to apply for a free credit report, was told it would cost $1.00, lost my connection, reapplied and paid my $1.00. Was informed that the program would cost $29.95 per month, was given a phone number to cancel, which I promptly did so. Was told by and operator that it was canceled. I received my bank statement today july 5, 2008. I was charged 2 times at $1.00 each on june 16, 2008. Then I was charged $29.95 on june 23, 2008 one week after my cancellation.

I got a live agent at the following number: [protected] on today, November 3. I was able to talk to a live agent, in which she provided her name and employee ID number.

Retrieving this number was difficult, as I had to call Canada’s customer service to gain access to the number. The other numbers, just stagnated the process, because I did not have a membership number, and my phone number didn’t match their records, therefore, the automated system would simply hang-up. The number listed above should be included on the consumer’s bank statement, for contact purposes. Moreover, an investigation into these fraudulent practices is overdue. However, I was informed that the credit would show in 2-3 business days.

PS: I just completed a similar process with Privacy Matters on October 30, 2009.

I went to Mylife to search for an old college roommate I had lost track of and was charged $50 plus another $1. The same month a $19.95 charge for AP9*Homesavings Mall and AP9*Savingspace, each, appeared on my card statement. The charges also appeared the following month and I called the credit card company, who seeming sympathetic, patched me through to someone I supposed was at the company responsible for those charges. I asked for a credit and canceled membership thinking that was the end of it. The following month (month 3 ) there was a credit for two $19.95 charges and two new charges of $19.95.

I called the credit card company again, complained and was patched through to the supposed company. They said, indeed, my membership was canceled but was billed the same day and the credit was issued the following day. The credit card company said they could not help me dispute the charges despite my mentioning "scam" over and over, persisting that the dispute was between me and the "mystery company." It was my problem for clicking on something that I should not have clicked on.

I canceled my credit card (which I had since 1969) and asked for a card with a new number. I called the telephone numbers by the AP9*... charges to ask for proof that I had signed up for their services. I was told there is no proof as I signed up on-line. Hah, how convenient.

The moral of the story is that I have paid $139.80 to0 learn that there is no help at the credit card company and there is no resolution through the scamming company, whatever their proper legal name may be. So beware if you are inattentive, gullible or easily duped.

Oh, and I didn't find my old roommate.

To stop the charges on your account you should close any account that has unknown or unauthorized charges immediately. These crooks tried to charge my account $136.00 PER MONTH. As it turns out they have been charging my account $3.00 a month for 2 months before this happened.

Shut down your account IMMEDIATELY!

Have your cards re issued!

Don't wait!

You can contact these people at [protected]. They are www.privacymattersidentity.com. They are the owners of yoursavingsclub.com. They were able to cancel my account as well as refund me for the past 5 months they charged my account. It is a scam that happens when you cancel your credit report account, they do not ask you if you want to cancel the savings club that you are automatically signed up for when you sign up for the credit report. That is how they get away with it and stay in business. I hope this helps everyone.

To all that are trying to contact Your savings club...Please try this number: [protected], I was able to speak with a live rep and will be refuning the money owed to me, and my bank will also refund the overdraft fees. The rep told me that this charge came from going online to pull my credit report, to be honest, I do not recall. But good luck!

I am on the phone with them now. the number to reach is: [protected]. Apparently when you sign up for the credit diagnosis, even if you cancel, they continue charging your acct $1/mo. Who knows how long this has been goin on for but I am getting to the bottom of it now. Amazing that even when you cancel, they continue to charge your account! with as many complaints as on this board, you would think that some agency is looking into their practices.

I finally got my money back! Yeah! 18 months of being stolen from. No more and this is what I did: I contacted the Better Business Bureau. I said I wanted the money back that they had stolen from me and after a month or two I just happened to look at my bank account and there were the 18 $1 credits from those scam artists.
Yeah! I went through every thing everyone else did and this is what finally worked.

I ran into this problem when I signed up for a free credit report back in February. Ever since I canceled my credit service in Feb of 2008 yoursavingsclub.com has been billing me $1.00 each month.

They are owned by AdaptiveMarketing, LLC out of Omaha, NE

CALL THIS NUMBER: [protected] and tell them you want to cancel your yoursavingsclub.com membership. The lady that I spoke with canceled it on the spot and refunded my credit card the 10 months they have been billing me.

I AM A VICTIM OF THIS COMPANY SCAM AS WELL. THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND I DID NOT HAVE ANY IDEA WHO OR WHAT THEY WERE. I THINK I WILL TRY THE 946 NUMBER.
I TRIED THE CANCELLATION AND AS YOU SAY I GOT AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM, BUT I THANK YOU FOR THE 946 NUMBER.

This just started happening to me on 9/26/08. Currently I have four unauthorized AP9 transactions on my checking account. My bank has started legal processings thru their fraud department. I also contacted a lawyer, who has started a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT & INVESTIGATION. Visit them here: http://www.abingtonip.com/classactions.html and then click on AP9. Write them an email & see what they can do for you.

Being in the legal/criminal justice field myself as a parole officer, this makes me extremely annoyed.

This supposed company called: YOURSAVINGSCLUB.COM is owned by ADAPTIVE MARKETING LLC. They have customer service at the number [protected]. The website for this mother company is: www.adaptivemarketing.com.

I'm honestly not sure how YOURSAVINGSCLUB.COM got my debit card number. But as of right now, the card has been deactivated. The ONLY company that EVER had this number was BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO. My bank & I have come to the conclusion that it's them. So does my lawyer.

If anyone wants to contact me, in regards to this. Email me: g4diva_uk@hotmail.com.

Sincerely,

I too have called to cancel my membership...I called the [protected] number, after pressing two, and telling them my membership ID number is says, YOUR MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN CANCELED. But then I get my bill and again...I am still being charged $1 by this STUPID company! It seems like I should be able to speak to a REAL person and get a confirmation number to prove this account has been canceled.
I guess the only thing to do is to cancel my card?!?!?!

I was under the impression that this was free credit report, which I never did get, and AP9 is charging my credit card every month . I tried to get a hold of a live person to get them to stop charging my card, 2 accounts for the same thing, and a recording would ask for my account number, which I don't have one, then would says goodbye and hang up on you . I don't want AP9, PERIOD

Okay, I'm hot on the trail to shutting them down. The Des Plaines newspaper is going to run an article on this SCAM and their business license pulled and all employees are to be fired after this event.

The problem is located at the Matrix of:

P.O. Box 5152 Des Plaines, IL [protected]

Please contact the Des Plaines City Government at:

http://mygovhelp.com/DESPLAINESIL/_cs/QuestionAsk.aspx?sSessionID=&

Here is a sample letter to expedite the process:

We have a SERIOUS problem in your city at:

P.O. Box 5152 Des Plaines, IL [protected]

This local company is illegally charging people across the nation $1 per month for absolutely no reason.

I and many others want this company shut down AT ONCE. And will not stop until this happens.

The companies are called privacymatters.com, savingsmart.com and several others.

If I don't hear that this company's business license has been pulled within 30 days, I will file a lawsuit against the City of Des Plaines for harboring an illegal website.

You have 36 hours to respond.

Thank you,
