I applied for a payday loan recently and I got this phone call from this company while I was unavailable and since it was on my cell phone, when I had time I clicked the redial and got their sales recording telling me I was pre approved and that I just need to answer their questions and that I would be approved for up to $1500. or a car loan. I was caught off guard and i gave them my bank information, date of birth, social security number, home address. I was told to check the amount I was approved for by going to the web address provided and when I did it was a whole page of complaints, from people that had experienced the exact same thing as I have. Please tell me what I need to do, especially to protect my checking account. Sorry for my ignorance. Thief's are unpredictable this day and time. My foolishness and stupidly helped them. I wait for your response

Lately, Aug, 08, there has been an increase in frequency of telemarketing ringing my cell phone with grand offers and after having gotten reeled in by one, RAVEN of where else but Las Vagas, they cost me $2.29 for a cd, which they did mail) but could have cost me $39.95 revolving every month, had I not canceled my card immediately, after doing a web search...should have done one before submitting my card number...oh while, live and learn!

All most all of the Quick Rich, or $1500. loans, or Free Government Money, 99% of these offerings are 100% scams. Before falling for them, Hook-Line-and Sinker, do a web search, and 9 out of 10 times, you will discover they are schemers preying upon the gullible. Don't be gullible...

By the way, most bank cards can be canceled upon a phone call to your bank, they will reissue you a new card within 7 to 10 days, usually for free.

PS: I didn't begin to get these calls until I placed an ad in CRAIGSLIST...?

I too was called numerous times during the time I was working. When I finally got off and called to check my voice mail I too went through all the same information and was given this address. I am now worried that this information will be used to take money I don't have out of my account. Is there any way to protect myself from this happening and stop it before it does happen? Aside from closing my account and reopening another one?

YourBalanceCheck.com Got my personal information

They contact me by phone told me I was getting a pay day loan and they need some information, they got my bank account number , routing number & social security number, don't know if the have tried to anything to my phone number yet? They told me to log on to www.yourbalancecheck.com and I would find out how moeny they were going to wire to my bank account within the next 48-hours, I logged on and there was nothing that could tell me on how much I was being wired to my account, just this site taking complaint agaist this company. Don't be a fool like I was why does the FTC shut this company down for this getting personal information for "Fraud".

The same happened to me i was asked to verify personal info and i was also told to see how much i was approved for by logging on to the website and to also process my loan.
