YouFit Health Clubs Charging while clubs are closed

You fit continues to charge members even though clubs are closed. After investigating found this to be a national problem. I am not an attorney but this sounds nefarious to say the least. I've contacted the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to sort this out. I only did this after numerous E mails and internet complaint. Only response received was from a Terri T. who describes herself as a business manager, the Kelley Anne Conway of Youfit.

Yes, they double charged me in feb for $42.79 and $52.49, in addition to $432 for personal training I did not get. no I dont want future credit as I do not know when it will be safe to work out. I want my monies refunded by this crooked organization. cutomer service sent me emails that I was not charged and corporate told my bank that they will not refund me.. the gym was closed to the virus, its not that I did not come.. what a horrible business practice to sponge money from people when you were closed. I have contacted bbb and channel 7 news in miami.. very bad business and crooks who are trying to sponge last dollar

I am so sick of this club that they are sponges for money.. the gym closed due to virus.. they charge me $527.28 in feb. for march. first I was double billed, for $42.79 and $52.49 in feb! for march! double billed. I was also charged $432 for personal training that I did not get. I don't want credit because at this point, I don't know when gym will open due to virus and now I don't even want membership since I found out that they are thieves. I am calling channel 7 news, help me howard, in south florida because I know other people who are having the same issue. they are holding on to my money for services I did not get.. shame on you you fit! what a disgrace and a scam.. return my money for services I did not get and how dare you double charge me.

YouFit Health Clubs Annual fee

I became member last year and I was never informed that I would automatically be charged $ 42.00 every year for annual fee without my consent . I thought I would be advised before any withdraws from my account and was surprised when I saw the annual fee withdrawn from my account. I spoke with the receptionist and he said he couldn't do anything about it. He also said that if I want to leave the club membership I have to fill a form and pay $10.00. It's not fair I pay annual fee and pay more for leaving my membership. I want to join another company instead of Youfit because I disagree about paying annual fee.

YouFit Health Clubs Failure to notify me of 10day cancellation on 8/29/19 during call & 9/07/19 your african girl whom was rudely laughing at me been rude.

On Thursday August 29th around 1:30pm to cancel my membership due to move to a different City. A gentleman told me that it won't be a problem I would just have to come in, or write a letter to some division. I told him that I'll be in town September 7 and I can do it then if that would be OK? On 9/7 @ 2:04pm I walked in to cancel knowing there was a $10. Cancellation fee, the young African American girl mentioned that I would also be charged additional $10.on the 10th. I asked her why, she mentioned that there should have been a 10 day cancellation prior to date of billing. I told her that I spoke to a gentleman on the phone on Thursday the 29th and why did you not mention this to me . She said she doesn't know why it was not mentioned to me, that unfortunately, thats what it's going to take place. I Asked if there's anything that can be done to waive that and she said no. I understand that there's nothing she could do so, I asked if there was someone else that I can speak with. She went to get Quincy the Manager. Even before the manager walked out I noticed she was what seemed to be laughing at me. I chose to ignore it and when Quincy came out I explain what the young girl has told me to him. He said that was right, and unfortunately there's nothing that he would be able to do about that. I told him I understand and I just really wish that this was mentioned to me when I called on the 29th otherwise I would've made arrangements with some sort to make it before the 10 d I chose to ignore it and when Quincy came out I explain what the young girl has told me to him. She said "I know you came at me upset because of me telling you about you we're going to be charged again. I said I knew it, I knew you where laughing at me & I find that very disrespectful. She started saying I'm mad that's fine you wanna say that take your anger out on me that's fine. I was not, I did find her doing this laughing at me more than once rude. So I am upset on how she was making feel. The Manager Quincy whispered something in her ear & she stopped. Quincy gave me the option to not cancel & let the $10. Charge then cancel 10days prior to next billing this way I will only be charged $10 this month & $10. Next month before billing. I don't know when is the next time I will be in NOLA, told him let's go ahead and cancel now & that I just wish the guy I spoke with on the 29th would have mentioned this. He apologize! I did asked Quincy for the girls name. He said he couldn't give it to me. I said I thought I saw name tags on everyone, could I not have her first name? He said no!

YouFit Health Clubs The lady working the front check in, glasses, reddish hair

I inquired about a job opening I saw on indeed, just ask if they were still looking for someone, her comment, we are looking for someone qualifed! Really, I thought this very rude, I could have been a CEO of a company for all she knew! She could have replied in a nicer tone, or just said yes if you are interested send in a resume, that would have been sufficient on her part!

Membership included a working sauna yet the sauna has been "broken" for several months. Management doesn't seem to take the multitude of complaints seriously. A note on the door has been there for several months yet nothing has been done to rectify the issue.

YouFit Health Clubs Membership cancellation

I called my local YouFit to cancel my membership [protected]) and was given the company process and procedure. I was disappointed to learn that I will still be charged on July 9, 2019 for my monthly membership of $21.99. Nowhere in the contract (agreement) does it state that you must cancel the membership within a specified window of time to not be billed or I would've cancelled sooner. If you take a look into my account you can see I haven't been to the gym in several months. If I am paying a cancellation fee then I am expecting to not be billed in July. Derrick at my local youfit tried to assist but also could not find where this information could be found. I am headed to the club to cancel my membership today and would like some feedback on this. YouFit Health Clubs Membership

I had 4 memberships for myself and family members. Since 3 of us were not using it, I requested to cancel them out. I had these for over 4 years. I was told to send letter, DOB for each member and $10.00 check to cancel each one. I sent this off as told and 12 days later claimed never got it. Went round and round with manager Dave Pierre. Got corporate # and called. Same BS runaround when I requested to talk to manager. After repeat calling corporate office, Dave Pierre called me back and like a miracle the letter and check suddenly appeared! WOW. CROCKS! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. GO ELSEWHERE!

YouFit Health Clubs Cardio machines out of order

My name is Linda Hill. I worked for Youfit Health Club on Shelby Drive for a few years. I was proud to be a member there and enjoyed working. I resigned last year due to other personal obligations; however, I still enjoy going to work out and spending time with all the members in the community.
My complaint now is that all of the Cardio Machines have been out of order for about 3 weeks in an effort to repair the TVs. The TVs have always been a problem since the company switched from Comcast to Direct TV, so why were ALL of the Cardio Machines taking out of service to repair the TVs. I would have thought that if that was necessary to do that maybe half at a time could have been taking out of service. This is totally Unacceptable. What's the point of paying a maintenance fee when no maintenance is being performed. I do believe if equipment is not up and running this week, memberships will be cancelled. Most members love the gym and the location. Please help to get the Cardio Machines back in operation ASAP! As an employee and now a member, I have always promoted Youfit. I am ashamed to say I workout there now.

YouFit Health Clubs Membership fee

I asked front dest to upgrade my membership only for last summer in 5/15/19. They made note said member will downgrade in august 2018, was informed about downgrade fee at the time of upgrade-sn. After summer over, which is8/21/2018, I asked to downgrade. They said ok done.in their note said: member come in wanting to downgrade but left before signing agreement-as. (which no one ask me sign anything). 12/28/18 I went back to ask about why my membership fee still charge $20 per month. They checked and say I never had been completed downgrade. Notes say: Member need a refund from last upgrade VB. They still did not complete down grade process this time. I do sign some papers which I was sure that was downgrade paper that moment. I went back to ask why I still constantly to be charged $20 per month on 4-23-19. They told me they never finished downgrade and up - management override note " no refund owed, member needs to sign agreement in queue and pay downgrade fee. They never told me this until I asked. I left the club but still want to refund my overcharge member fee from 8/21/2018 to 4/23/2019 for $70.00. Please let me know if I can get my money back. They have terrible communication with members.

YouFit Health Clubs Location not being open or cannot contact anyone with youfit

I am a member with YouFit in Richmond Virginia, location Chippenham and Powhite, I have been a member for a while, all of a sudden I come to work out and the center is closed, tried to call other locations as well as customer service to see what is going on, no answer from anyone of the phone numbers I called. I am levit, they are still drafting my account for the membership fee and they are locked down, I need some answers, asap.

I am a member who pays a monthly membership and the location that I excise at in Richmond Virginia on Chippenham Parkway and Midlothian has not been open for business. If I can't exercise for the membership fee that they draft out of my account every month, then they need to void the payment and stop drafting it from my account. I have been going here for quite a while, and within the last week when I go, the building is closed and nobody is there, this is unacceptable, and they have not advised me of any type of closing of the facility.

YouFit Health Clubs Management

My fiance and I are members at youfit in the mesquite location. My fiance deployed in March and we were not getting billed for 6 months until this month, December 2018, I was billed for his account. Before he deployed he called youfit to freeze his account until he was back home, which would be around march-may of 2019. The previous manager that my fiance spoke with froze his account, but not the correct way, according to Raymond (manager in mesquite). Raymond informed me that the previous manager didn't have my fiance come in to sign specific forms to freeze the account nor did she make any documentations and she was $0 out the fees for 6 months. I explained to Raymond that my fiance had asked her if he needed to come in to sign anything and he was told that he didn't have to. I had asked Raymond if he could waive the fee since my fiance isn't home yet and instead he cancelled his account and said that because he didn't collect a cancellation fee "we are now even".. he also said that this situation is a "he said she said" and that it's our fault for not calling before the 6 month mark to freeze again in order to not get charged for the monthly fees.. I explained to him that they wouldn't let me handle my fiance's account, but now that there's a situation they let me and now it's "my fault". I am very unhappy to how Raymond handeled my situation.

YouFit Health Clubs Personal training program and management

This review for the youfit location in richardson city, texas . I signed up with personal training . Paid $304 for 8 sessions each month, twice sessions a week. After they let the first trainer name Ella go for unknown reason. The next trainer i have had Sergio is terrible, couldn't get any sessions with him for the first 2 weeks, finnaly got a hold of him and some sessions done with him after 2 weeks then he kept canceling my sessions an hours before the sessions for 5 consecutive days. He came up some lame excuses, his back is hurt, his car is broken. On top of that he took 2 weeks vacation so all 19 sessions included 2 promotions packages i bought from you guy are expired. The manager Holy did not thing but very lousy and disrespectful. He misled me and bends his words when i met him to discuss that i would take a business trip for almost 2 months so I would't be able to come in so if he could pause my account till i came back so the sessions won't be expired. He told me that i need to pay $50 fee and one session will be lost each month then all the other sessions will be freeze also, I agree on to that term, i came back yesterday and wanted schedule my sessions with my trainer to found out another 25 sessions already expired. He did not thing to help but giving me attitude and very disrespectful tone .

YouFit Health Clubs sexual harassment / service

On November 21, 2018 approximatelty 9:30pm. A Youfit trainer named Brandon who works at Youfit in Harvey, La. on Manhattan Blvd sent a client to sexually harass me by walking up behind me and saying "nice [censored]." When this particular client walked behind me to say such an inappropriate statement to I confronted both him. Afterwards he walked towards Brandon and they both started laughing, and I confronted Brandon as well to ask why he did such a thing? Brandon and other employees begsn to laugh. It is a very unprofessional.

Good evening I have a major complaint On location hammock Blvd and the manager or supervisor who was attending that location. Didn't catch his name Tall dark hair gentle man his name is Gabriel . I'm asking he should be fired dismiss ASAP . As Other will file complaints and law suits . The Incident happen today 8 14 2018. Tuesday At 720 pm hammock you fit. I was waiting for my Zumba class to start at 730pm cause I really enjoy it after tense day at work help ‘s me relief Feel an accomplishment . But today After 20 year of going to the same location formerly porky s I felt So discuss and felt discrimination against me . I had my gym bag and other person as well on my shoulder. Because I go directly from work To the gym for the past 20 year . I know you cannot place gym bag on the floor or by equipment you need place it lockers. I'm waiting for my class to go inside studio Standing right by the door with my bag pack on my shoulder. This ruthless young man unprofessional obviously he does not care about losing customer. humiliated me in front of other. He argued with me and with rest customers causing a big commotion. As he mention that if we don't place our bag inside locker 5 min away from class to start . We will no longer have a membership. I Pay my advance entire year for the past 20 years I was not going not going to place my bag for minute locker specially after miss treated me . I'm a professional not a child like this inexperience young man and he Need to go back to school for more education on Management . He was rude unprofessional Does not know how speak to customer . Worse as I approached my class in the middle class he said the police is waiting for me outside . He did this show off that was a turn off . So now after 20 year I'm not allowed to go hammock location anymore . if I do will get arrested took my info Driver license just For carrying bag pack 5 min away from class to start by the door. I have lime card I can go to any location and I always carry bag back for other class never had a problem . This person has an issue against me and if you keep him you will lose more client. You fit is not the only gym . After intense day will contact my lawyer and file a law suit against you fit and gentlemen you fit for discrimination . Basically I was disliked by him. According to the officer he told me . All my friends go gym hammock not anymore. Watch reviews not going renew any more . I'm so disappointed at you fit so unprofessional . I'm a member of the YouthFit at 11865 SW 26th St #B13, Miami, FL 33175. I was approached by Yessenia Medina with a very rude attitude. She told me that I needed to have my bag placed in the locker. I proceeded to let her know that I was using the locker before but they have stole my items which is a fairly common issue at that gym. She was extremely rude and even told me that I can cancel my membership if I did not like the rules and even accompany me to cancel it. She said that she was the manager which surprise me at such an immature age. My wife and daughter were becoming a member but after this incident, I have decided to go to another gym. Please someone speak with this young lady and hopefully teach her some manners and customer service unless you want to loose more customers.

Employee that careless about the gym and its consumers. I was going to let it slide, but this is the third incident with this employee named Jonathan.. the 1st was a month ago when I was at the gym at 1:30 AM and he allowed a kid (about 6) year old work out with his parents. Not only he allowed them in, the kid was actually working out- which is a liability. Apparently he is friends with the parents and for that reason he is not following protocols that can cause a huge law sue to the facility. Second occasion... while working out I saw a machine that was broken. I went the front and let him (again Jonathan) know, so he can put a sign, just in case someone uses aaaaaand gets hurt. Instead of asking and going to the machine, He looked at me, said okay and kept doing nothing in the front. Before I left, I told from again, don't forget about the broken machine, he brushed me off aaaaaand kept talking to his friend in the front- didn't even acknowledged what I was telling him. I went to the gym the next morning to work out, the machine was still broken, with NO SIGN. I told the girl in the front, she immediately went with a clip board and took care of it. Today... iit's 1:30 AM, i'm doing legs... he was with another guy on the other side doing lunges... I went to do leg press, his friend came to me and said they were using the machine (super setting)- which he wasn't. He was already over 15 mins doing lunges. His friend aggressively told me that when he was done with his lunges, I better be done w his machine. I told him, whenever you are done and i'm done with my 3 sets I'll be more than happy to give you the machine. He said- let's see about that- like wanting to fight me. He didn't say ANYTHING to his friend but laughed, no respecr that i'm a girl, and lack of professionalism as he works there. I'm very disappointed at the people hired at this Youfit and their lack of professionalism. I was going to do a formal complain to the better business bureau as this shouldn't be happening. I feel threatened and unsafe at the only place I enjoy being.

YouFit Health Clubs Member need money back

Broke machine are not working property, TV screen machine are not working property in many of this machine. Cable channel have been cut, WiFi is not free no more . I am not happy with the mediocre place, nothing work well.

I request my money back immediately and youfit refuse.

This gym have old machine and we have to spend 10 minutes to find a good machine.
Before I became a member 07/2017. The staff told me a new machines are coming this summer 2017 that never happed.

At this point I am tired going to mediocre place with broke machine.
We are not getting a full service equipment.

I just want my money back.

YouFit Health Clubs Manager cursed and got confrontational with as I was walking to my truck.

December 29th around 530 pm central time at algiers, la You fit gym one of the staff made a comment to me as I was walking out because he knew I was pissed from ealier n I told him [censor] you, no I shouldn't of cursed but the manager came out the door being disrespectful to me as I was walking to my vehicle. I could understand the manager defending his employee if I was inside the gym but walking outside as I'm trying to leave and he cursed at me and asked me if I want a problem with him is not ok. I don't pay my membership fee to get talked down too when I was avoiding a confrontation and leaving and going to my truck. Y'all are a great company but the manager on site December 29th around 530 pm needs to be talked to and delt with.

YouFit Health Clubs Child care

I pay the extra cost for childcare but when I show up with my child the employee that should've been there hadn't come in. I asked the desk clerk how to cancel the membership and she stated it would be a $10 fee. If your employee chooses to be unprofessional and do a no call no show or answer her phone (clerk called her cell while I waited), why would I be charged an additional fee for being inconvenienced? If you can't fulfill your end of the agreement by having responsible employees carrying out the employer end of the agreement, how is that my problem?

YouFit Health Clubs Staff/"service"

Hello. I joined your fitness club on Monday July 17 2017, today was my second day. I scheduled to have my assessment at 6pm, I arrived at 5:50pm let the front desk guy know that I was there for the assigned personnel. He went to let the person know & I waited 10mins before the guy returned to tell that HE said to start in the treadmill and he will be right with you. So I walked the treadmill FOR AN HOUR! No one came to acknowledge me to say "I be with you in such in such time, no introduction, I didn't even see who the person I was supposed to meet with. After AN HOUR on the treadmill I moved to another machine, did it for 10mins, proceeded to go to another machine so at this point I'm really upset. I go to the front desk 4 people are at the desk, 1 was assisting someone and AGAIN no one bother ask could they help me. So the guy from the very beginning nodded as if "you need something" I told him to tell whoever I was waiting o that I was leaving! I was there well over an hour and NOTHING but my own regular workout. That's totally unacceptable! I work in health care and o would NEVER leave my patient or client to fend for themselves when there was a scheduled appointment. And my second day, I left my contacts information with the corporate office to contact me. I just want my money back & to cancel my membership because I see that this place is not suitable & lack professionalism and they're not about helping assist members. The location is in Memphis tn 38125.
