On Thursday, June 6, 2019, I went to swim around 8 pm. I went later in hopes that there would not be as many people using the spa area. I have complained several times to management and pool staff about people waking in shower and whirlpool area in their street shoes. Also I have made many complaints about people wearing their workout clothes and street clothes and shoes in the sauna. IN the sauna! I asked the brewer signs explaining proper use of the facilities and received alizarin that these things are not proper and should not be happening.
On Thursday night around 9:00 pm I was sitting in the sauna, showered, with two towels (sitting in one and wrapped with the other) when a woman came in with her workout clothes and street clothes. She began to change in the sauna. He pulled out her shirt to change and turn it right side out. Then she flipped the shirt to straighten it and in doing so when she flicked it something flew into my eye.
I left the sauna, got dressed and went home. I flushed my eye thinking the particle would fall out and decided to go to sleep in the hopes it would work it's way out. In the morning I arrived at work, it my eye was worse so I called the YMCA to talk to a manager. A woman took my information and said she would let Steve know.
I left work and went to my ophthalmologist. I had to wait for more than two hours in terrible pain. Finally Dr Hart removes a piece of plastic from the inside eyelid. I have corneal damage from where the plastic scratched my eye.
I come to the YMCA to improve my health. Now I have lost time from work and have to pay for my doctor for an emergency visit all because the YMCA cannot properly manage and enforce their rules in use of the spa and pool area. I am very upset that this has happened to me, when I only want to work out in a clean and safe environment.

My name is Mark Anthony Clacken of stevenage Hertfordshire my local council did put a referral in for me at the welwyn ymca I waited two weeks got a interview paid a taxi my last 39 to be told she could go on with my application but it's her discretion to let me in after 13 months of being Homeless I was told I didn't stand a chance that could of been done on phone waited for nothing to be once again let down no one to pay for the unprofessional work by your staff in Hertfordshire thanks I would like to complain as I've still not recovered still on the streets delete my data as u are no help I will be calling data protection to ensure this is done.

However she's been wanting me to go for tour and to workout with her and try to switch me gyms
I am a member at 24hr and planet fitness.
Today I went in with my friend who's a member .I need to use the bathroom so I grab a towel and went straight to the bathroom my friend said she would take care of the front desk .
My friend met me up in the bathroom. And said everything is ok just show my ID after . I said ok that's cool the Y seems cool like planet fitness you can bring a buddy.
So we head upstairs I use the stair master and my friend the ab machine . Then I hear someone behind me being extremely rude saying I need to get off and get out now !
He really caught me off guard . I got off and asked him what his problem was and no need for aggressive behavior And that we can talk down stairs . As I walk away I hear him tell the lady he is with say Mexicans . First of all I am not Mexican . As we go down stairs he's still aggressively talking with me . I said there is no need for such behavior honestly talk to me like a human being. He said he had told my friend the proper way to check someone in as a guest . Whether my friend was in the wrong of not telling me because maybe she really want me to go he should have not talked to me the way he did . He's costumer service skills need to be Reevaluated . I will send a photo of my self and my work place so you can see I'm not just any teenager or someone on the streets . As I left he was being a smart [censored] (excuse my language) . I'm not sure if this an employee training issue-or what, but I have just witnessed yet another reason to discontinue my family's membership here. Several months ago, I was about to snap a photo of my child on the slide, when a staff member approached me and told me that they don't allow photography in their facility.. fine. However, just now, a lady stood in front of me and recorded a video of her child going down the slide, and not one employee approached her.. Along with all of the other customer service issues we have dealt with here and also at the Briargate location, I'm pretty much done with the whole establishment, which is really unfortunate, because I grew up going to the Y in Arizona and never experienced any problems at any of their locations.

The staff at the front desk of the YMCA in Mattoon IL is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have only had issues with one employee. She is constantly making rude remarks and rolling her eyes at everyone. The biggest issue is her friends stand there and talk to her so she doesn't have to take the time to help anyone. A mother asked her a simple question, "if she had noticed if her son had walked by" the employee rolled her eyes and said "it's not my job to watch your child". It makes me not want to go back knowing even if I can get her away from her friends for 2 minutes to ask her a question that she will just roll her eyes at me and have an attitude. The staff needs better training.

I asked to meet with staff and filed a complaint. As a result, I was banned from the YMCA. I filed the complaint! I asked to meet with the Director. When I did, she banned me from the gym. Made up a lie that I cursed. That's the reason! I am disabled. No other gyms. I am banned for cursing? Kim at the YMCA is horrible! She is the most unpleasant person I've met. I begged them to look at security camera footage. They would not.

After submitting a new card for billing, my grandson is refused entry due to delinquent account. And I had not been contacted about this matter, I now know, for six months!
I have custody of grandson. I had set his membership up on his account. I had assumed the automatic deduction were occurring. I had not realized the incompetence I was dealing with at this facility. I find out, not by mail, not by call, not by any formal notice, I find out by my grandson being forced to wait out front for me to go back and pick him up!
You placed the account in collections?! You don't even have the consideration, grandson coming in on practicality a daily basis, to let him or us know the account is in trouble! Where is the common courtesy, common sense? Nothing! No mail, no call, no warning of any form. This is his account I set it up and leave it! I pull to pay for braces and glasses. I had thought you people had been automatically devoting his account. And then to be blind sided by this matter is completely incompetent on your part. Disgusting unprofessional behavior in work ethic. He plays basketball, I will speak to him about a place called the rise. After this stunt you all pulled, I have nothing but contempt for you as a business. It will be up to him. Disgusted.

You can look into the way The YMCA is handling the issue of a rapist's name on their building. Both Kevin Bolding the CEO and President as well as David Bluemling, the Chairman have done nothing to address this issue.

The YMCA permits each Executive Director with the unfettered discretion to terminate anyone's membership and to refuse anyone's application for membership upon his or her own whim! There is no review, no appeal, no notions or fair play and justice, no Christian Values, no right to confront an accuser, innocent people are also arbitrarily and capriciously disapproved for membership without any hearing or presentation of evidence. The YMCA is a SOCIALISTIC OLIGARCHY where all power is placed into the immature hands of one grand executioner. Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The facility coordinator is rude to everyone and never responds when you try to contact her, she terminated my membership without telling me due to a phone call in which I made to ask her a question regarding my membership that I had waited two weeks for an answer on. Also, there should be cameras there. It is a very shady place. Carrie Walton runs it.

I am so appalled everytime we come here to swim, excercise, etc. At the lack of customer service skills at this particular ymca here in cos. If it's not having to randomly pay for our one (usually complimentary) guest per membership, it's them bugging my 9-year old daughter who is small for her age, about whether she is allowed on which machine (literally every single time we come in), even though we've had a membership since 2016. We only go to this y and the briargate one-you would think they might remember us by now.. Today took the cake, though, I must admit-we live across the street and usually walk, but it's about 13 degrees today, so I drove my daughter and her friend and left my wallet at home. She said that guests were not "complimentary" today and that it's $8. I asked if she was serious, to which she replied that she was, so I went back across the street in my car (in the snow), to grab the $8 they so desperately needed on such a busy day.. Then, when I came back she tried to say not to worry about it! Really?! What place does that to their members?

I got a YMCA membership for the pool that's the YMCA's greatest feature definitely and the swim team I can see 3 or mabrey even 4 days a week for swim team but not every day not even Saturday when paper says open swim I need someone please help me make a difference or I'd like my money back please this is kinda of ridiculous at YMCA In Bucyrus Ohio 44820 please help thank you

This company will not respond to calls. This is employment fraud. I need this company talked to by this website if possible. I cannot get a response. They do not have a complaint department.

YMCA International School, Bari Co-operative School, Chas, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, India, is actually located inside residential society disturbing the neighbor residents by the noise of children, some children activities as children as most of the time they through their belongings in neighborhood, but children activities can sometime be ignored but management creates road jams everyday as their vehicles are also not parked properly, most of the time we face noise issue with their heavy speakers, even this school is not having playground, send someone superior to re check, Even one or other we have to face their local gangsters as they need play ground for children so most often then try block roads, get inside someone's vacant land etc, you can check this latest issue on news paper Jan Jagran, Bokaro edition of 25th nov.
They bribe and manage local police station. I was more shocked to know that the property in which YMCA is running is property of Mr. C. H. Madhai, President of YMCA Bokaro, and things are run under his supervision. Play ground in youtube is fake ask him tag his location on live facebook you will come to know.
They throw wastage on our property creating issues.
Well think about this, is this organization meant for these activities.
