YMAX Communications MagicJack platform to assist Indian scammers in refund scams.

Received several scam emails claiming I had "auto" renewed "Norton AntiVirus Plus." A number, 479-437-5325, was listed to resolve any issues. I called the number and an Indian scammer answered claiming to be with Norton. I sent an abuse report to [protected]@magicjack.com and received the following response: "Thank you for reporting this to us. We have suspended the number." The number and scam remain in operation.

Desired outcome: Shutdown this scam number.

YMAX Communications Norton 360 Download from Amazon

I tried to buy a Norton 360 download from Amazon this morning, 4/25/23 and have already received an email saying they were going to charge $326.84 to my credit card for a 'membership recharge, guaranteeing my computers' security for another year' and I was supposed to call this number that turns out to be from YMAX Corp outfit! They have my Order ID as: 326SEC/836. I don't know where that ID came from. That was not the Order number from Amazon.

Desired outcome: I don't want any charges to my credit card for something I didn't receive

YMAX Communications microsoft lic

They call barely able to speak english, and claim they are from micro soft and that my lic have expired on my computer, your software lic are good as long as you use that software, or sell the computer. They want one to download a link, so they can have access to your info and steal all your passwords to banks and so on. This needs to stop and the phone company needs to be held responsible cause they will not disconnect these scammers numbers.

The number they called me from was 805-308-0821 and when you call them back they don't answer they ask you leave a message to avoid being contacted by the police.

YMAX Communications customer using your services under an alias and committing sexual harassment & attempting to commit identity frauds!

Man emailed me saying I was approved for a loan & claimed to be a branch manager for CashnetUSA. I immediately noticed the number he put in the email was not a normal corporate 800 or 888 number. Suddenly the number calls me several times. I answered once and he was saying that he was employed by CashnetUSA and he needed to verify some information before he could direct deposit the loan. When I asked him to provide documentation of his employment status with CashnetUSA, he repeatedly asked me for the last 4 digits of my social security. I finally hung up & he proceeded to call me 34 times despite me dismissing the call each time (RED FLAG - NO PROFESSIONAL WOULD CALL AN INDIVIDUAL BACK LIKE THAT REPEATEDLY) When I got sick of his repeated calls I answered and he proceeded to speak the most disgusting sexual things to me, saying "i wanna f**k you so hard, " "My di** is rock-hard, can you sit on it, " & much more until my husband got on the line and began threatening the mans life and the man's mothers life. We did file a police report for sexual harassment & attempt to commit fraud. After doing a reverse number look up, the phone number is associated with a man named Kelvin Subber, 44 years old, supposedly from Austin TX. However the number is traced back to Dekalb, Illinois with an "unknown owner" but service by Y-MAX communications!

YMAX Communications fraud sexual abuse call

I just received a voicemail from this number [protected]. The prerecorded message said if I didn't call the # back they would send the authorities to arrest me.
When I called back the man who answered was foreign speaking and began with "would you like to touch my [censored]". He then continued to say extremely vulgar things, while I said I was going to report the number and screaming "[censored] you, you can't report me". Since I've read several other complaints about this Ymax Communications Corporation being fraudulent and a scam I guess I can't. This company should be shut down immediately this is disgusting and goes much further down than the preverbably asking for money!

YMAX Communications Mediate for me with the IRS

David Webb called saying that I should have received notice that the IRS was taking me to court in two days for tax evasion and would seize all my assets. He said he would mediate for me for $484 - which I should pay via Western Union to a overseas account. This was the first I heard about it so I asked him what my name was, he said he couldn't say the name, only my claim number of 33963. I said I would check with the IRS since this is the first I've heard.
It's tax season so I couldn't get through to the IRS. He called back the next day and I gave him a false name and asked him to confirm the name on his claim. He confirmed the fake name I gave. Then I asked him to confirm my claim number that he gave the day before and I changee the number. He confirmed the fake number.
He said his office number was [protected] (only an answering machine).
He called once from [protected] (lookup said it was a known scam area code)
He called once from [protected] (he suddenly was at a landline in Maryland)

IMAGINE THAT. He hasn't called back. How in the world do they get by with this?

YMAX Communications harassment

I was harassed for 3 days straight! First they would call and hang up. Then they pretended to be from a Educational center. Then they said they were calling about a Federal law suit that as being filed against me and that they needed to deliver documents to my home or job, and if I had any questions to call [protected] and they gave me some type of case number. You could hear people talking in the background. When I called the 866 number they wanted to know my date of birth and the last 4 digits of my social, I refused until someone could tell me what this so called Federal Law suit against me was about, which the person on the phone could not explain. I hung up and tried calling back from a different number and could not get through to anyone...

They contacted me on March 25th, as well. Said they were also filing a federal lawsuit for an unpaid credit card debt from 2002. When I asked for more info, she was able to give me a few dates, but then said she would mark it disputed, after I told her that even if I owed money on this credit card, 2002 was beyond the statute of limitation in my state and it would be considered a time-barred debt. If I do get any type of letter from this place, I will bring it straight to my attorney's office.
