Yamaha yamaha nmax kickstand not fit for purpose.

I've recently purchased a Yamaha Nmax 0 miles from the dealership the bike runs excellent the brakes are very good it is superior to the PCX no doubt, qlong story short the KICKSTAND has given way TWICE when the bike has been left on its own and the left front side of my bike has scratches, the windshield is scratched the bike has less than 1k miles and because of Yamahas inability to fit a proper kickstand the damage has probably knocked off £300 in parts/labour to a brand new 17 plate bike

This is not a one off issue either as discussed here in this video below

Yamaha free and low cost financing of yamaha motorsports products

The Yamaha USA Corp. in 2016, entered into an agreement with Total Card Inc. to offer more advantageous free and low cost financing presumably to stimulate sales and save money on loan servicing costs. This new company that has been created is named Yamaha Motor Finance and appears to have replaced the previous methods of financing. Since I do not know the terms of this agreement I have used the names of Yamaha and Total Card interchangeably below. It should be stated that Yamaha USA is just one of hundreds of companies that have partnered with Total Card Inc. Most of these other companies are relatively small and have trouble providing really attractive credit rates to increase product sales. The major problem with this current situation is that Total Card Inc. uses what I call predatory lending practices to generate extra fees and penalties so they can offer these low and/or free credit rates. A quick Google check of "complaints and lawsuits filed against Total Card Inc." provides over 2 million responses. These business tactics are also enhanced by the fact that Total Card Inc. is located in South Dakota which has some of the most liberal banking laws and weakest consumer protection laws in the nation. The US Supreme Court recently ruled that banks only have to follow laws of the state in which they are located not necessarily where they do business. As you might expect, the great state of South Dakota is fast becoming a banking Mecca .

My problems stem from a late fee even though my Bank mailed the check (loan payment) allowing five business days to reach its destination. The representative from Total Card stated it was received 6 days late. Postmarks are not important to them and they state that only they really know when they receive the check. I was also told by the Yamaha/Total Credit representative that the only way to guarantee avoiding late fees was to authorize them to withdraw their payment from my account when it’s due. This solution did not seem like a satisfactory solution to me. My late check generated a $25 late fee that was later cancelled according to the Total Card phone rep.

The next month my check was on time but did not include an extra $0.49 fee that had somehow been added (without informing me) to my payment. They called and said I could correct my error by making a $5.00 payment (minimum accepted by them) plus I owed another $25 fee for sending a short payment. This company also does not send out billing statements on a monthly basis but calls you when you are late or have other problems. They apparently like to provide that personal touch. I have had only one billing statement provided during the 5 or so months since I purchased the wave runner. Yamaha Motor Finance "for the borrower’s convenience" provide a website that shows your payment amount, due date, current balance and statement balance (my current balance has increased since the one and only billing statement was sent). Unfortunately there is no information on extra fees and penalties other than the fact that the current balance is not decreasing as you would expect on an interest free loan. This is certainly not a good way to do business but is it legal? Maybe in the state of South Dakota. Yamaha and Total Credit are certainly clever. Friends of mine (we bought Wave Runners together) sent in a payment on their interest free loan early to avoid this kind of problem. Total Credit took the early payment and applied it towards principal without informing the couple. When the payment due date came and went with no additional payment being made, you got it, my friends were charged a $25 dollar late fee for failing to make their regularly scheduled payment. And the extra fees just keep on coming.

Beware! When the Yamaha USA dealer offers you an interest free loan “that you’d be a fool not to take advantage of”, don’t do it. If you really need financing find a comparable product made by a manufacturer that isn’t partnered with Total Card Inc. or a similar company. In fact, any manufacturer that handles their finances this way does not deserve your business at all, under any circumstances even if your not financing.

It is hard for me to believe but The Yamaha USA Corp. and its dealers must know what is going on and must be willing to sacrifice future sales to their existing customers financed through Total Card Inc. for the benefit of attracting new customers with low or no interest loans. Yamaha USA must also be saving a bundle on loan service fees from Total Card Inc./Yamaha Motor Finance. I wonder if it is possible that Total Card Inc, makes enough in extra fees to service Yamaha’s accounts for free? I can just imagine Yamaha USA executives rubbing their hands with glee thinking of all the money they are saving on financing costs while ignoring the potential loss of customers in the future.

Yamaha yamaha waverunner

I have a complain to make to Yamaha.

I own a 2 Yamaha Jet Skis and I always have a problem from their authorized service center in Marina, Egypt for their sloppy and primitive work.
About 2 weeks ago one of my Jet skis which worked for only 133 hours didn’t start so I took it to the authorized service center (El-Shimy Marine) and they said that the start gear needs to be changed and that it will coast 5750. I agreed but I insisted that my driver will be with them while they fix the jet.
They opened the engine to move it out because the start gear is at the bottom and to do so they had to suck all the oil out of the engine, which they did. After fixing the start gear they refilled the engine with 2 liters of oil and my driver noted to technician that oil is less than it should be.
After fixing the Jet Ski the technician gave it to my driver to bring it home, on his way to marina 4 it stopped 2 times so he went back to the technician and told him what happened. The Technician opened the engine and said that oil is more than it should be and sucked almost 0.75 liters of oil out of the engine. The technician took the jet for test drive before handing it over to driver since the driver had an argument on the level of oil was not enough in the engine. After 20 minutes of test driving the technician called the service center for help. They towed the Jet Ski to the service center and there they discovered that block was cracked and that the jet needs a new engine.
The worst thing ever is that they refused to claim any responsibility and when I called Eng. Elshimy and told him that the Jet Ski broke while it was with them and they have to claim responsibility, his answer was it broke because it was its destiny.
Until know the Jet is in his position and he refuses to take any responsibility.

Yamaha you have the worse service center and dealers in Egypt. I don’t know who should I seek for help.

Yamaha yamaha fz1 rotor

To whom it may concern.

I have a Yamaha fz1s reg YN06LFE. A bad noise came from the engine and under investigation i discovered the magnets have failed in the rotor. I am enquiring as this appears to be a common fault if any of the repairs/parts are part of a recall or warranty provided by Yamaha. I have already purchased the stator which under inspection appears fine but i will be replacing that anyway just incase any broken magnet particles are embeddedin there. I have yet to purchase a rotor.

Yamaha I paid for a service I never got it

Hello,
I took my yamaha fazers2 for service at 7-4-2017. I paid 163€ for general service. But they did not fix a problem with the ABS. So they told me to take the bike again for service and that they will not charge me more money for the work, i would pay only for the spare parts . I took it again at [protected]. And yesterday [protected]) they told me that the can not fix it. ABS is stuck. So they removed it. But they charged me 75€. I don't know the reason. They say that the charge is for a spare part, which didn't fix the problem.
I can't understand what exactly i paid. I paid for not fixing my bike.

Yamaha yamaha accessories

purchased snowplow for Viking 6.1st time plowing front bracket bent. took It back to dealer and Yamaha would not cover it under warranty we tried to talk to Yamaha about it and they said they didn't have to stand behind it because it was made by warn. they said it was dealers responsibility to handle this but dealer said there was nothing more they could do because Yamaha refused the claim. dealer said they couldn't believe they wouldn't replace it. they seemed shocked.

Yamaha worst service and arrogant customer service

Today had a worst time in my life in Bikerz service station located in Nandanam. They haven't serviced my bike properly but arguing and charging.They are very rude even to my sister.Hereafter i wont recommend Yamaha bikes to my frds and family.Already we have 2 yamaha bikes and planned to buy 3rd one but changed my mind.Thanks Yamaha your dealers are the worst and customer care is very bad.

Yamaha not received rc book

I took the bike from 7 month back but still I didn't get the my rc book. I asked in rto office they are saying we send by speed it is not returned back & I took speed post tracking no & trying to get but it says consistency not available. Even I went & asked post office but they are not responding properly. Even motor person also not helping.

Yamaha received damaged wave runner

On 9/11/14 I bought a brand new 2013 yamaha waverunner fxho cruiser from don & roy's motorsports. The purchase was in privity with don & roy's including shipping arranged by don & roy's, paid for by don & roy's, crated by don & roy's and it arrived at the destination, spokane, wa., damaged. Upon delivery on 10/14/14 it was noted that it was accepted pending inspection. When uncrated we found fork lift damage to the bottom of the waverunner. I immediately notified the freight company and the shipper, don & roy's. The shipper don & roy's accepted no responsibility, said it was the freight companies problem not theirs. Don and roy's assured me it was insured and no problem. Turns out since the deal was in privity with don & roy's and purchase price was fob spokane it is don & roy's problem. Don and roy's has a responsibility to cover the damages to me and them don & roy's goes to recoup from the freight broker or freight company. As it turns out don & roy's did not even insure the shipment as they stated and promised. I want don & roy's simply to live up to their responsibility and pay for the repair to my waverunner which is under $ 1, 700.

Yamaha viking door latch

I have a new 2014 yamaha viking and the door latch broke, I have been trying for approx. 8 weeks to get a new door latch from the dealer I purchased it from, the dealer keeps telling me that he can not get this part from yamaha? I do not understand because this is a safety hazard for one thing and also it is just not right when you buy something new and you are not able to purchase factory parts that are on these vehicles.

every time we go out in it we have to take it to the shop.it has a 6mo warranty that expires aug 2015 & its been in the shop 4 months of 5 months that I have had it.

Yamaha servicing of bike

To yamaha motors, delhi

I, piyush sethi of karol bagh, new delhi, from has bought a faizer (red and black) from delhi scooters, rajouri garden around one and half year back. I have taken 6 free services and thereafter paid services from this showroom in the entire time period. I would like to convey that i'm completely dissatisfied with their way of bike servicing. Even in the free service they offered, none of the time my bike was serviced properly in one go. I always have to take a second round to get the faults correct in their servicing. I have already mailed in this regard to the rajouri garden center, but it was to no avail. They showed no improvement in servicing and they just responded saying that I have to visit the service center again and rectify my problems. Recently, I claimed an insurance for my bike as due to an accident its parts got damaged and needed proper servicing and change. They took one week time from me for this and to my surprise on the delivery date of the bike, I ensured from whether my bike is properly repaired or not so that I should come to take it, they said yes, but when I reached the center it took 6 hours for them to deliver the bike as it was not properly washed, the oiling and galvanizing of parts wasn't proper and I insisted them to wash it properly and waited for 6 hours there to get it done.
On top of this, now my bike has encountered several issues which were not there before, moreover the situation has aggravated. When I complained to them, they told me to bring bike again next week. The issues include-: break is tight and needs force to apply break, speedometer which was initially working has not got disabled, engine gets off in between and the bike battery problem which was told to the executives there is not resolved till now.
This is seriously disgusting, i'm a college student and I also do job, I don't have spare time or free time that I should come every now and then for bike servicing and check for the issues. After 1 week also it seems its not serviced, actually the bike's condition has worsened.
This is highly negligent on part of yamaha service center of rajouri garden and this has great inconvenience to me.
I demand strict action against the service executives there and I should be given a solution to this issue as soon as possible.

Yamaha need to order unavailable outboard motor in my country

I am facing a problem to buy a new yamaha outboard motor (F200)
from the distributor The main problem that the distributor do not have the F200 yamaha outboard motor in his showroom and he do not need to order it for me and he do not accepting to release the motor from cutoms if I order it by my self.

note: In my country rules that if their are a distributor you can not bring a product from outside my country until I get their acceptance to release.

at the end can you till me what is the solution.

Yamaha replacement

As I bought a new yamaha fzs in sairam motors padi, chennai. While I ridding my bike on r. K salai near city center my bike's rear tyre got burst while I ridding and I escaped from a big accident... Then I came to know that tyre quality is very cheap. Mrf tyre manufacture whole unit are cheat and fraud, they are cheating people by giving low quality. Today I went to mrf service station ekattuthangal. I met one of the manger mr. Vivek he said this is not our mistake and he wont claim and give he didnt respond and not communicated wit us properly.. We are not satisfied with him.. So we met another manager mr. Nageesh, that gentleman said yamaha company only asked our mrf group to manufacture this kind of low quality tyers said coolly and he went inside... Regarding this I discussed with my lawyer and we are gonna file a damage suite againts these cheats... For more details contact r. Srinivasan ([protected])

Yamaha parts are not avilable

Dear sir,
My name is anil. And my byk had gone to service center after a accedent, all and every work has been completed but which part had been damaged in accedent, that part not available in service center, these problem away fom one month, store keper say that parts are not available, and this condition is not realy, because from one month parts are not purched by company service center this is not possible, so please do something.

Yamaha 2012 yamaha raider

On october 10, 2012 I purchased a 2012 yamaha raider, vin #javp27e0ca014683 from velocity powersports located at 151 gateway drive, ladson, sc 29456 along with $4, 000 in after market accessories. On the date of purchase I drove the bike home.
•october 11, 2012 I took the bike back to order the after market accessories and informed them that the motorcycle was backfiring and shouldn’t be. They said we can look at it when we are start installing all the parts.
•december 3, 2012 velocity picked up the motorcycle from my residence to take to the shop. The mechanic told me when we install all of the parts it should fix the backfiring issue. So the mechanic installed the parts and got finished on december 11, 2012. I picked the bike up and the bike started backfiring and stalling.
•december 13, 2012 I called to let them know the motorcycle was still backfiring and stalling. I brought it back to their shop. The mechanic worked on my bike for four days because he was needing a tapping tool. The mechanic said he got it all fixed up.
•december 19, 2012 I picked bike up and on the way home it was backfiring and stalling out. I called when I finally arrived home. The next day the mechanic came to my house with his son and lap top and worked on my bike. He worked on it steadily for 1.5 hours. When he was done he indicated that the bike “should be good now, have tons of power as he had everything wide opened”. After he left my house I took the bike for a ride to the store. The motorcycle was burning extremely rich pouring black smoke out of the exhaust pipes.
•december 19, 2012 I contacted velocity powersports in regard to this and the service manager, chad said I will call you back as we are just backed up. I never received a returned call.
•december 20, 2012 I called and spoke to chad again. He informed me that the mechanic who had been working on my motorcycle was no longer in their employment. He was let go. Chad indicated that he would speak to jeff about it as he is a better mechanic. I said okay. I wait three days and never received a phone call.
•december 24, 2012 I spoke with service and they said to wait until after the holidays as everyone is off.
•january 3, 2013 I called and the delivery driver was out of town and I couldn’t ride it in as it was shutting off on me and was unsafe.
•january 4, 2013 I called and the driver was out sick.
•january 5, 2013 I called and he said he would get it tomorrow and he will call you before coming. He picked it up at 10:30 am and the driver said why is it pumping out smoke. 5 days went by and I heard nothing so I called back on
•january 12, 2013 I contacted velocity and they indicated they cleaned the plus and its ready to go.
•january 14, 2013 they brought the bike back to me in the cold rain. I was not able to test the bike at the time he brought this to my residence as it was raining.
•when I did test the bike it still wasn’t right.
•january 19, 2013 (or thereabout) I called chad and he wanted to argue and said “i’m throwing my hands up. I don’t know what to do. How long do you let it warm up before driving it?” I said 5 minutes but it sounds like a shot gun when I first start it up. They picked up the bike and again and tested it for three days. Due to the weather I was unable to ride the bike until later in the month.
•january 29, 2013 I called velocity and they said they didn’t see anything wrong with it. I got it back and rode it with my wife and it was backfiring and cutting out. The motorcycle would only go 25 mph at its fastest. We felt unsafe and I drove it up to the dealership and asked if they could fix the bike or put it back like the “fired” mechanic had it so I could get it home. Chad said yes for $95.00 an hour.
•february 28, 2013 I called and said the fuel gage is now not working and this is a warranty item can you fix it. The service department said maybe next week.
•march 5, 2013 I contacted the dealership again and asked for the bike to be picked up so the fuel gage could be repaired and the bike worked on as it would drive okay and then go to bad in no time at all. I felt it was to scary to chance. The service department indicated the driver was out of town could I call back tomorrow.
•march 6, 2013 driver was backed up on deliveries. He would have the driver call me. A week later still no call back.
•march 21, 2013 I called charleston powersports and took it to them. They said to take it to the dealership where I purchased the motorcycle. They indicated they weren’t allowed to touch it unless it was a factory warranty.
•march 25, 2013 I called myrtle beach powersports and they said they couldn’t as they were instructed not to touch it.
I then took my motorcycle to velocity powersports and asked them to try and sell it. They said they would and left it behind their building for a week. They didn’t show the motorcycle at all. I sent a friend who was interested in purchasing the bike and they would only show him a new yamaha raider.
One of the purchased after market accessories for the bike was cobra sweeping pipes. Installation was done by velocity powersports. The mechanic stripped the o2 censor and told me he had to re-tap it. After removing the pipes on august 10, 2013 I discovered he welded the hole shut. The mechanic drilled a new hole in the pipes and made the hole bigger than necessary.in an effort to fix the error some form of tape was used to fill the hole so the o2 sensor could be pushed in and not screwed onto the factory torque specifications. The tape kept he 02 sensor from grounding.
At this time I also discovered that the right foot peg for driver was missing a bolt. Attached are pictures of the pipes and foot pegs.
In good faith I have contacted velocity on numerous occasions in an effort to get my motorcycle repair with their assistance. I feel as if I have come to an impasse and that now I must ask for yamaha to assist me with my concerns and issues that I am having.
I have tried to contact yamaha on several occasions, left messages and had to hold for over 45 minutes and have not been successful in receiving a return phone call or response in regard to my issues. I sure woul d like to get this matter resolved.
