I used yahoo phone verify, to log into my mail for extra security.. My phone service stopped providing this service.. So when I try to log into my mail, using my phone nothing happens. So I tried yahoo help and automated service, they just took me on the run around a full circle, now I can't get into my mail, it's been over a week. I lost important data I cannot retrieve. I have a pre-paid phone service.. I was able to have yahoo text or call me with a code to get into my mail, now my phone does not let this happen.. Need to upgrade, had my phone and this service for yrs. Don't need to upgrade my phone.. I need to change the log in preference from phone verify back to the original log in password, cannot do this cause yahoo has no way to change it but to take you on a run around in their so called help menu. So I lost my mailbox.. It just sits there collecting mail abandoned all because of using the phone verify security measure. Pathetic.. I had yahoo for yrs without a issue.. Til I couldn. T get into my mail one day.. Come to find out it was my slow internet on that day.. When I changed my log in preference. Don't use the phone verify unless you got a phone that supports it. Am in process of finding a new mail provider because of this. Very saddened and disillusioned.

I contacted yahoo regarding; my account being hacked for the second time, I changed my security settings, and had a code sent to my telephone every time someone logged in from a different account. However had my phone stolen and reported to the police and the iinsurance company, called yahoo to help me to access my account and was told that I had to pay 150 pounds for my account to be secure, because it has been hacked and they said that was my fault. Try scallating the complaint but was unable to speak to anyone all Yahoo numbers are not working, and the ones that are cannot deal with complaints. It has been dreadful very bad customers service.

9/23/15, 9/24/15. Can not reach anyone on yahoo phone numbers [protected], [protected], [protected] or Direct [protected]. They all say yahoo has changed the way customers can contact them and to go to help.yahoo.com. My yahoo mail account has been hacked and I cannot Login. help.yahoo.com keeps saying they will send my Login Information to p...@s...com. I have no Idea who or what this is. They have no Live Person to talk to or anyway to communicate with them on this serious issue. I would request for them to contact me @ [protected] to discuss this matter. Thank You.

I have had ymail and used yahoo for my home page for at least ten years and have become disappointed in some of the articles that you post on the web page. Some sound very interesting only to start reading for awhile only to find out it is nothing more than disrespecting another one of the major American political parties. This is happening more and more and I don't feel that Yahoo should allow this type of political bashing to be printed on what is suppose to be a respectable news page. Also some of these phony news sources that also print very interesting headlines and when you go to read it you have to join their 3rd rate service or jump through other hoops. I am really sick and tired of Value Walk as once you start reading then a huge message box wants to know if you would like to join. It does have a X so that you should be able to get rid of that and see what the story is but that is for looks only and will not let you cancel the box out. I wish Yahoo Homepage would clean up its act and only post real articles with no catches. Thank you.

I saved some emails in my trash box a week odd ago because i ddnt want them in my inbox so moved them, i wake up the next day to find them gone so sent a request to retrieve them an the next morning there back, but then 2 days later they disapeared again, gone, deleted yet again, iv now sent 4 requests again to get them back and nothing has happened and i ddnt delete them, iv since left another email in my trash box an it hasnt been deleted, why is this ? this is disgusting service, stop deleting my emails because you ddnt delete them when i ddnt use account for 2 yrs as i had over 4 thousand emails in my trash box when i finally used it again, i need these emails as they are receipts i need to keep, not a happy customer !

Several times over the past year I have seen [and read some] negative articles about Mormons, Catholics, and "Christian" groups. Much of what I have seen is misconstrued and taken out of context by people who do not know the backgrounds and DO NOT care about learning the truth. If one wishes to report his/her opinion on the subject, it should state that the article is an OP-ED. It is true that " Do Mormons Believe in Magic?" is from Huffington Post. [6/9/15] But someone in Yahoo chose to include it on the Yahoo site. That someone needs to be aware of the difference between fact/fiction/opinion and mark the article as such.

I lost my password to my email.I have REPEATEDLY tried to get Yahoo to tell me what my old one was or to let me reset it.

The customer care department turns out to be useless and worthless. They tell me that "We've so far been unable to match the answers that you provided with the verification information currently listed on the Yahoo account"; I'm 100% sure that the contact list I gave them was correct. So, how could they not match it?

They say "Your account security is serious business and we take precautions to protect your personal info." And how many people are banging down the doors at Yahoo to get my password?They say "If you're having difficulty remembering a piece of personal information needed to confirm your account ownership, we recommend that you take a moment to recall what you may have used and try again." Sounds good, till you find out that I created the account SEVEN YEARS ago!

I would like an explanation please.
I have been closed out of my account because I do not want to change my password. I have an 11 digit password, consisting of letters and numerals.
Yahoo has no right to tell me to change what is otherwise a very secure password.
I object strongly to being bullied in this manner.

How authentic is this email before i can take any further step?

I bought jeep through the website Yahoo Auto. I was scammed, ‘coz I transferred money for the car and for the insurance, but these jerks haven’t delivered the jeep. All my emails and messages were returned back, so I have no idea how to contact them. As well as they didn’t provide phone number. Maybe someone has any idea how to track this seller and return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

Lied about having no kids on filipinocupid.com. Also she is a prostitute of the lowest and most disgusting type !We had communicated via email in the weeks prior and then I was walking back to my hotel in Cebu City around 4 to 5am one morning in February 2014 and she appeared out of nowhere and approached me on the street. She did not know that I was one who had been in contact with by email and met on filipinocupid.com and neither did I know that she was also. Now I usually just pass those type of lowest class by and as I was walking away she still beckoned me. Anyway as we were talking then I learned she was the one with whom I had been in contact. Really disgusting person. Also contacted VD from her !

Numerous times there phone is busy for extended periods of time (off the hook) or one of the owners children is on it I'm not sure. I. Don't even know if one of them is legally old enough to work. Anyways, I informed the owner that I was having problems and that if I am spending $1 per minute I would hope for good service. He screamed at me telling me that 'the customer is always right saying is bull ****' he got mad at me for leaving a negative review on Facebook. I told him that it was pretty evident that neither I or he wanted to be here (being the facility) and that I wanted my money back. He told me that he was going to clear the remaining minutes I had (over 50$) I told him that would be theft, and punishable by law. He kicked me out . The WORST customer service I have EVER encountered in my life.

On August 7, 2014, I received an email from Yahoo & MSN Windows Live Promotion Awards. It stated I had won $820.000.00. I checked this out on the Internet and it turns out to be fraud. His name is Mr. Richardson Howard. Also named in this email is Mrs. Taylor M. Lopez. Mr. Richardson has asked to send personal information about myself to claim the prize. I did not send him any information. His email address is [protected]@yahoo.co.za. Something should be done about this. Thank you

I want a simple (Classic) Yahoo. I do not have facebook, twitter, cell phone, or any other high falutin application. Yahoo compelled me to upgrade my system so I CANNOT use the Classic version. Now I cannot even upload jpegs to my eMail without going through Dropbox. I do not know how it works and I have spent the last 6 hours trying to figure it out. Yahoo upgrades are as worthless as tits on a boar hog! I searched for a Yahoo online help site--no go.

I paid for a webhosting plan with yahoo webhosting for my new website www.telltem.com and paid over 400usd for 3 years hosting. I then discovered that the control panel can only be accessed via my yahoo email. So any web developer can read and potentially misuse my personal email. An absurd way of doing webhosting that's exclusive to yahoo. I have now tries more than six times to cancel the plan within the 30 days allowed. But on each occasions and after having to give my credit card details over and over again I receive this message from yahoo:
The false pretences under which yahoo obtain webhosting business include that they claim to accept hosting for philippine companies yet still require phone calls to be made to the usa for cancellation or other queries despite the fact that there is a substantial time difference that means making phone calls at night. Furthermore as yahoo operates robots on their phones a phone call could easily exceed the cost of a one year hosting plan. Clearly all these devices are set up to prevent anyone from cancelling their plan.in a criminal outrage cancellation is presented as a purchase of a new plan and any refund must be requested by phone calls to the yahoo robots that mess you around for hours. Obviously yahoo also makes massive commissions on phone calls no doubt in collusion with its att partner.
Yahoo know that I placed the order from the philippines and paid with a philippine registered mastercard. Furthermore yahoo have my philippine registered mobile phone.
Yet after trying to cancel my plan for more than a dozen times having to click my way through pages after pages of misleading information that implies that in fact I am not cancelling but placing a new order the yahoo criminals end the sequence with the following criminal message giving a phone number that is not attended not even by yahoo robots:

"sorry, we experienced an error when trying to create or update your bill, and were unable to complete your order. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try placing your order again, or contact us at [protected] and mention error prov102."

A gangster style way of preventing existing customers from cancelling their web hosting plan that must be reported to the fbi and interpol and all other authorities involved in the internet. When finally I succeeded to cancel the plan via their billing department I was astounded that the cancellation was registered for may 2017!
I am clearly cancelling within the 30days satisfaction period yet the yahoo webhosting criminals want to keep my money and keep hosting until may 2017.

Yahoo webhosting is clearly a criminal company that is misleading clients with false, untrue and dishonest advertising and trying to attract webhosting clients under false petences. This crime racket should be closed down. This is of public interest as it must affect thousands of dissatisfied clients that are foced to continue their webhosting with yahoo.

In their so called cancellation sequence of endless clicking the cancellation is turned into an order and the credit card has to be reconfirmed over and over again not for any refund of the canclled order - on the contrary for a new order that yahoo expects! Perhaps the most blatantly criminal extortion racket on the internet from a company of the reputation it professes to enjoy...

Yahoo also falsely claim to have a contact email.in fact it is a robotised clicking platform where one is required to click the relevant questions. As would be expected with a criminal company the questions to be selected never load so there is effectively no way of contacting the yahoo gangsters and filing an official complaint. Yet another cunning trick in yahoo's criminal empire that prevents complaints and order cancellations from being processed or even acknowledged.

There are hackers and booters using this site. They boot individual from the lounge using name ellimination, as well as hack the computer sending a virus which deeems ones computer inoperatable. Sometimes minutes, other times hours. I am afraid that if yahoo cannot control what is happening with this, next will be finacial and other personal accounts. When discussing that with lounge, I was told that the government does it all the time. I have the dates, times, and lounges that it was done to me, as well as the offenders email or name they use while playing. Feel free to call me to get these names. I would appreciate if you could observe these lounges. The computer booters are gray, provential ratings with 0 abandons or games played. They are usually controled by someone else in the game room.
