Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how Yahoo! handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with Yahoo! and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

Yahoo! sad day for advert

I constantly see next to my email list bruised photos of celebrities. This is sick! Why Yahoo! allows this? How sicker can get Yahoo!? Whats next? Advertising self harm? Stop This! This is bad for Yahoo bad for us bad for the celebrities. Why can not Yahoo stop thos? Or do they enjoy looking at these photos? Do they like the money received from the company who is behind these photos? There must be a limit what you put on the screen in front of us. Soon people will get enough and simply stop using Yahoo or this could end up on the News and hurt back to Yahoo! itself.

Yahoo! news

I have been reading Yahoo news on line via yahoo.com almost daily. I find the news on US politics is extremely bias against the current US government in white house. I hope to see more neutral position news and analyze the government policies and the opposition party's point of views instead of one sided comments in favor of the opposition party. I am very disappointed to the current behavior of yahoo.com news. Please do it right and make a change. I am not a Republican but a news reader trying to get the news media doing their job correctly.

Yahoo! iibanking. cfcu. ga

Scammers are using this fake banking site for online dating. They are getting women to wire money through Western Union, Money Grams, iTunes and Steam Card plus money orders. They are saying they are going to another Country to do business. Then saying they need to get money for expenses to get back home. A lot
of women have been scammed by these so called Romance Scammers. They are saying that their wives have died due to severe illnesses to make women feel sorry for them. They are confessing their love immediately, promising marriage. Also that they are very rich and will reimburse the money that they send to help.

Yahoo! email hacking of account: [protected]@yahoo.com

My email account was hacked. I found out in December 2018 when Yahoo emailed me a notification that they had sent a code to a telephone number in Florida. It said if it was not me, I should secure the account, which I did. Then the same thing happened again and I secured the account again. And then the same thing happened again, and again and so it goes on.

I have tried everything I can think of to stop this person getting into my account. I have changed the password several times, also the name on the account, the nickname on the account and my gender - all things which I thought the hacker might be using to pass security in order to get a code sent to them. I have tried adding two step verification to the account and enabling the account key, etc., etc. No matter what I do, Yahoo continue to send the telephone number in Florida a code which permits them to access the account.

I tried calling Yahoo in UK to discuss this, but was told they could not discuss the account with me because they had received notification it had been hacked and hung up on me!

I tried contacting Yahoo via the Customer Support online, but despite explaining my issue I received only an email telling me how to change my password.

I decided to delete the account and have tried to do so several times, but each time the hacker logs on and the deletion process is halted as a result.

Please DO NOT RESPOND to my Yahoo email address. I don't want the hacker to see it. PLEASE RESPOND TO : [protected]@gmail.com.

Thank You.

Yahoo! ted bundy article on being white

Really Yahoo?!

Who gets credit for approving the Ashley Edwards article getting published on Yahoo, in order to give her a platform for stirring up more racism in this country? Shame on you Yahoo for allowing this hideous angle on an already hideous criminal. Why is it that a person like Ashley decides to bring in race to a issue that is about a sociopath and not because Bundy was white and in a society that accepted his persona.

Yahoo elected to "stir the pot" in the racial conumdrum that sadly surfaces daily in our country. Freedom of speech you say, no doubt, but really Ashley's approach is reprehensible and you know it. I will stop reading your website as a result.

Yahoo! yahoo mail and stolen data

A week ago I had my email account just disappear, it would not log me in. After 3 days I was told by Rogers that Yahoo had locked account for abuse. Since I have done nothing to violate their policy and have used this email address for 15 years I asked it be fixed. After 3 more days Rogers told me Yahoo refuses to activate the account, refuses to give access to my 15 years of data and refuses to give any reason. Rogers is adamant I contact Yahoo as they control the account and data, Yahoo refuses to speak and just keeps responding with links to their faqs stating that will help and telling me I need to speak to Rogers. In the end they have stolen 15 years worth of my data. Responding with generic non answers has just made me that much more frustrated. Now I have to take to social media and consult a lawyer as I feel I have been sentenced to a punishment and nobody will say why.

Yahoo! changing my password

I don't want to change my password, frequently.
You make it so difficult with all your rules.
That's OK for people who have things they don't care to share.
I'm not one of them.
For some reason, every time I try to login, you don't accept my last password.
I try to stay logged in on my home computer.
That's not good enough for you.
When I try to reset it, I'm sent to another device.
When I plug in the new password, you accept it and send me to login.
Log in does not accept my new password.
If I try to change my password, same thing happens.
I've been a yahoo member for 13 years.
I give up.

Yahoo! news

I noticed within the reactions section of the news post about the native American and catholic school kids incident at the Lincoln memorial only reactions that agreed with the catholic school kids were removed. Same thing with any that didn't take a side but said the news clip wasn't looked at objectionably. I my post would immediately disappear before a thumbs down would appear. this seems like political discrimination.

Yahoo! mail

Someone hacked my email account and changed the password. When trying to reset the password, the system takes me to AT&T sign on. Unable to get resolution. In November 2018 I was no longer able to access my yahoo email account. Apparently someone had signed on and changed my password. When I tried to reset the password, yahoo directed me to AT&T. AT&T website does not have a record of the [protected]@yahoo.com account. Called AT&T and they told me it was a Yahoo issue. Texted/emailed and spoke with Yahoo Tech support and they say it is a AT&T issue. HOURS AND HOURS of back and forth on the phone with multiple levels of technicians and no help. I say "OK, just close that email account" and with that they tell me to contact Yahoo customer service and was told that, essentially, all of my emails would be lost and that there's nothing more they can do for me. However, they told me that for $4.99 a month I could sign up for a service plan which would allow me to unlock my account. I signed up...been charged $4.99 for 3 months now and guess what? still no access to my account. I do not have the time anymore. So many hours of explaining the same thing over and over again only to come to the same conclusion. I will not talk to anyone anymore. I had that email for 20 years. It holds 20 years worth of private information INCLUDING MY TAX RETURNS! I can't believe Yahoo will not step up and do something about this. Their security is terrible, their service is terrible and they take no ownership for their product.

TOP PRIORITY: Change my password and give access back to me. SECOND: Assure me, in writing that the account is closed and NOBODY has access to my information. THIRD: Stop charging me $4.99 a month for a product I do not and can not use!

My original account: sarahsbed@yahoo.com asked to update my page and since then I cannot get any listing of where emails are from, My Compose Letter doesn't work, my addresses are gone as well as my history. I don't know if I'm missing personal incoming emails. I do receive junk mail but without the listing of who sent it or dates.

Yahoo! continual "sad day for' adverts that are obvious bitcoin scams

I am continually bombarded with adverts saying "sad day for" which show pictures of numerous celebrities bruised and beaten about the face that just take you straight to bitcoin scams. These adverts are illegal and immoral and are designed to entice unwary people into parting with their hard earned money for no returns whatsoever.
It is about time Yahoo cleaned up their act and started behaving responsibly

yours very annoyed

Yahoo! laptop overheating

Recently visiting Yahoo! to check email or read an article, causes my laptop CPU temperatures to reach 190 (F) before crashing my laptop. It does this in about 10 minutes of entering the site. It does this with any browser, and this is the only site where this occurs.
I monitor the temperature and CPU usage, the CPU usage does not seem excessive, which is puzzling. Once I leave the site, the CPU temperature returns to normal. My laptop has an AMD Phenom CPU, and it is not being overclocked. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this. I have attached two screenshots showing how much my CPU temp increases after 5 minutes on the Yahoo! site.

Cheers.

Yahoo! yahoo help dept.

Yahoo keeps blocking my password. When I try to reenter it does not work and asked for my Mobile Phone #. I explained my mobile was not currently working and that it was a stupid policy since NOT EVERYONE HAS A MOBILE PHONE. When I spoke to the tech rep. he directed me to a site that would collect my credit card information and add a "temporary" fee of $5. I do not give out my credit card number online and if this is what I had to go through to get my password reset, I can only imagine getting my $5 back. BAD, BAD Customer Service. I rarely use Yahoo and this would be one of the reasons I will stay with Google.

It is my understanding that Verizon views its acquisition of Yahoo as a financial failure. One way to improve the Yahoo product, at least the version I get on my ATT email account, is to cease and desist using CNN as the supplier of their news. I and many others do not appreciate a liberal news organization's biased reporting being thrust upon us prior to reviewing our emails. Is whoever makes that decision unaware of CNN's markedly declining popularity, readership, and viewership? Wake up, Verizon, and get your head out of the sand. Your financial blunder is only going to get worse unless you focus on improving the Yahoo content!

Yahoo! advertising

I want to complain about one of the advertisements in particular.

Where a tv personality be it news or whatever has their image hacked and they are endorsing skin cream etc..

And they have not allowed for their endorsement to be used.

I think as a leader that this is beneath the ethical standards that Yahoo should have.

I don't understand how can I trust anything else. Changing from my favourite main page to something different.

Yahoo! too many anti-trump articles

Your home page is littered with one anti-trump article after another. I am very tired of logging on to your website and seeing all the articles that are so biased against our president.

There are very few if any articles about all the good things that he has done for all americans and all businesses since he was elected. Why are you so committed to trying to hamper his progress or push back against all the great things that he is trying to accomplish.

How would you like it if someone pushed back against you everyday and did their best to try to get you fired, or impede your ability to do your job. You wouldn't like it either. Tell your editor in chief to stop posting all these negative ads.
