The email page is spending so much time trying to constantly load the ads on the right that I cannot get the body of my emails typed. I have to pause every letter or two, and even then sometimes it just will not type my letters. If you want ads, fine, but make them banner ad that do not change more than every 30 seconds so that I can get my emails typed out. We are a business and your making money is costing us money.

All right, here's how it goes:
1. You got hacked.
2.. Boo-hoo, cry-cry from me.
3. So you wanted me to change my password.
4. You wanted me to make a stronger password.
5. Now I am so cocked up, I cannot login at all.
6. I can't access your 'Community' (ha-ha) to get help.
7. Messages are basically 'We can't fix this online'.
8. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to believe this.
9. If you can't fix online, then what?
10. I've had this account for < 10 years.
11. Oh, yeah . . now I see that you only care to help seriously if I'm a business.

As I use my email today, I came to realize that I forgot the password of my account which I personally log-in my to my laptop and my personal iPhone. I fill up this form which requires additional email address to be sent my code which is my alternate account [protected]@gmail.com. Yahoo message me that they found insufficient datas to know if I am the true owner of the account. I am afraid my account will be deleted since they give notice that they will blocked it to prevent malicious spreading of contents. Please, I am Dustin Nicanor G. Villaester. The true owner of [protected]@yahoo.com. Just don't delete my account irregardless if I dont recover my old password since I can still use this account now. I attached photos showing this account still active and I am using this right now Thank you!

I have kept Yahoo as my Home page for years. I am now changing over to Google. I NEVER thought I would say that. You want a client #, etc..., all I can give you is this.
Your so-called news journalists are a joke. For several reasons. And I don't believe I am the only one who thinks so.
1. They can't spell! Are they 5? I've seen better grammer as a teacher to second graders!
2. They are uninformed and opinionated. News is supposed to be just that. If it is an opinion then it should state so in some sort of disclaimer before the article.
3. The slanted, yellow journalism used on your service, especially about the man that is supposed to be our President, is ridiculous. It is no wonder our nation is in such a divisive state! Yes, I believe in freedom of speech. But, I also believe that we, as Americans, have a duty to this country to show other countries we ARE the best, we ARE United. You could help by not "stirring the pot". But you won't. Why? Because it is the age group that you have running your news department. They want sensationalism! They want people rioting, shooting policemen, killing each other and making better news headlines for you.
Just how selfish are you? And when did the Flag that flies over this country become nothing more than a piece of cloth? Shame on you, shame on the children you have writing for you. Did you troll High Schools for them?
If everyone would just stop and take a breath. Give everything a chance to settle down we might not go down in flames as a country.

I was promted by my iphone to re-input my passwrod which I cannot remember so then taken to 2 old mobile numbers that I do not have access to and due to this then put back to the start of the process. I am at my wits end. I called yahoo support team [protected] who are at the very least extremely rude and unhelpful, hung up on me 3 times whilst I was asking a question and then 4th attempt I asked to speak to a amanager. the agent put me on hold and the same agent came back to say he was a manager called Mike. he was 100% the same person, who also hung up on me. all I want to do is access my account, there must be a way around this. I have had this account for years.

To solve my password problem. jeffery said I would get back my $100 in a check in 24 hours. I called jeffery on feb.10, [protected]-exton (113) I asked jeffery where my $100 check was. jeffery gave a story that hackers in africa and niagara were into my account and jeffery wanted another $100 in itunes cards. I told jeffery I wanted my $100 check back first. jeffery hung up on me. I cannot reach jeffery any more. what can yahoo do to help?

Ps my old yahoo email ([protected]@yahoo.com) was the one that I forgot password.

Im complaining about may phone number registered in my account. I registered my old number before when i was in the philippines . And now im here in dubai, uae. I forgot my password already. I've been trying many times to remember my password but i can't. I still know the old # but i cannot open it already because i already left it in the philippines. The only way is to get a new key for the new password is the old number but i dont have the access anymore.. Please help me to change the old number to my new number.

Hi, after I change my password as suggested by yahoo, I was unable to log into my account via password. A window appeared stating incorrect password.
Therefore I can only access my account via account key on laptop.
But this feature is not available in ipad-mini's mail.
I have since then changed my password several time in order to log-in yahoo mail via ipad mini. But the problem still occurs.

I hope this technical glitch can be resolved ASAP.

In recent months I have seen the Yahoo! news feed increasingly dominated by input from a shockingly low quality source called Snappa. Their writing is abysmal (my 12 year old has better writing style), their content entirely subjective and opinionated, and their political bias so ridiculously blatant and excessively based on a limited selection of Twitter feed reposts that i simply dont find any value in their articles. Which is fine... i could ignore their articles... except they release so many that they dominate the Yahoo! news feed. Before their advent Yahoo! News was a regular browsing haunt for me but i have noticed that habit is changing. It doesnt bother me as such; happy to change but since I have been a relatively loyal Yahoo! News reader for years I thought i would pass along this comment in the hope that if enough of us say something someone will listen.

I am at my wits end trying to get Yahoo to deal with its email search feature not working. When trying to locate an email from someone, no results are returned. This is despite altering search terms, spelling, filtering etc. I searched Google for an answer, but everyone is having the same problem. When complaining to Yahoo about the ongoing problem, they are arrogantly in denial and refusing to admit the problem exists, yet it appears that everyone is having the same issue.

In the past, I was able to set the newsfeed stories on my Yahoo Home or Yahoo News page to hide or limit certain subjects--Kardashians/celebrity gossip, for instance. As a teacher and parent who has their screen visible when kids are around, this is important to me. I am no longer to keep these types of stories off my screen. There are "love this topic" and sharing options, but no "dislike". Why? For reasons unbeknownst to me, I am getting every single article about unprofessional teachers who break our code of ethics and sexually abuse their students, as well as all the horrible domestic abuse stories out there, and they stay on my feed for days instead of changing out (is this what happens when you try to read education and family issues? If so, the algorithm picking those stories is skewed terribly). I have had my yahoo account for over a decade, and I hate to give it up. However, I am at that point if I cannot fix this. Please help. Key issues: removing unwanted stories from main news feed, "disliking" inappropriate stories/resetting current choices so news algorithm can find better fits, getting news that is on Yahoo News to change on a more natural basis (no reason for any story to be there for 4 days). Thanks.

I read an article and get to the comments section at the bottom and the type freezes up. What is happening? I cannot type my comment because it freezes. Please respond. I would like a response and a resolution to this problem. Yahoo is my home page, I don't get it. I am a conservative and my comments are reflected as such. If there is someone at Yahoo that does not agree with conservative comments then that person should be fired. I always thought that Yahoo is a free speech site. Please respond.

I comment frequently on Yahoo Sports articles. I try to report as abuse many commenters who use profanity in either their posts or attached GIFs. I also attempt to mute those commenting; their comment will initially disappear, but, when I return the inappropriate comments reappear.

#1 You have news articles on your home page that are total BS opinion pieces run to look like actual news. Even the main source of the story, on Huffington Post has removed the story from their website.

My Bellsouth.net account was taken over by Yahoo a couple of years back

I have been receiving my e-mail in Outlook 2013 from 2 different email addresses with NO problems until yesterday
My email address is [protected]@bellsouth.net

Now Yahoo let the security certificate for pop.att.yahoo.net expire and I can send emails but can NOT receive them from the POP server. If I go to the Web access I still can receive e-mails and I can still receive emails from my other e-mail corporate address ...so
Is not Outlook problem
Is not an internet connection problem
is not a password problem

I called ATT-Uverse for technical support(to who I pay $300 a month for various services) who them narrowed the problem to Yahoo and gave me Yahoo technical Support
I called [protected]. First responder somehow got disconnected, 2nd told me I had to pay $100 for them to come in my computer to reconfigure my e-mail
The problem is narrowed down to changes implemented in the POP server without my knowledge. When I ask the Indian technical support to help with this issue CAUSED by Yahoo, without explaining the solution and what he is to do, he first ask for money.
I expect a resolution to this problem. I refuse to believe Yahoo implemented network changes to extort money from users.

Spam does not work. I am harassed 2-3 daily by these emails:

I hate your shrunken down, miniscule opening email page. You have a 4 inch wasted border at the top, that annoying slow to download ad in the center that slows down the entire mail page process, and the stupid settings page that pretends to save your choice but does not. I want the basic email page that has nothing on it but my mail. Period!

I canceled an email account I had with you for 20 years. I opened this one. This one is soon to bite the dust if you can't fix these issues!

I noticed your lead story was "World Leaders Concerned About Trump's Muslim ban". This is ridiculous. Trump is not banning Muslims or any other religious group. There is a "temporary" ban on refugees from "countries" where there is a significant amount of terrorists until we can come up with a vetting process to reduce the chance of allowing someone coming into our country that wants to harm us. If a refugee that has not vetted moved in as "your" next door neighbor I seriously doubt you would not have some concerns. The fact that most of these countries are predominantly Muslim is a fact because the terrorists are radical Islamic terrorists that have a warped view of Sharia law. PLEASE REPORT AS MANY FACTS AS YOU DO SIMPLY REPORTS THAT HAVE BIASED AGENDAS.

The link Yahoo sent me when I complained only tells me how to hide some of the ads. Hiding the ads dos not stop them from loading; i.e., the processes that are causing lag to my computer from all those 3rd parties loading up are still the problem. I watch the "waiting for..." messages in the lower left corner of my computer screen while I wait for each letter I am typing to show on the screen, or while I wait for refresh, or while I wait to open a new email, or...
It is awful. I do not have these issues with other email service providers. Only Yahoo. They are bogging down their whole service and I am not the only one that complains! It is one thing for ads to appear on the side bars...I can ignore them. But when they take priority over every function I am trying to do in Yahoo, maybe it is time to consider migrating to a more user friendly service. Yahoo must fix this or they will be witnessing a mass exodus of users that have been with them for decades. Me included. This last merger of their was a disaster.
